I write this in tears and with a broken heart

I say this with tears and a broken heart knowing full well that I will pay the price for speaking out.  I know I am about to lose friends and incur the wrath of many.  Nevertheless, as a man of God, I must rebuke President Obama for a totally egregious act that goes way over the line. This quote from Paul Joseph Watson will bring you up to speed:  “Imagine if Ron Paul announced a national campaign called ‘Whites for Ron Paul’ – he’d be vilified as a racist. And yet Barack Obama has done the equivalent of precisely that with his launch of ‘African Americans for Obama’.

The program urges black Americans to volunteer their time by making calls, organizing events, and going door to door in their neighborhoods encouraging other African Americans to vote for Obama.

Not only is Obama playing the race card in an attempt to pressure black Americans into voting for him, he is also violating the separation between church and state. In the video promo for the campaign, Obama urges black people to pressure churches into supporting his administration by getting his message out via “the faith community”. He also calls on voters to become “congregation captains”.

Again, imagine what the reaction would be any of the Republican candidates launched a ‘Whites for Romney’, ‘Whites for Santorum’ or ‘Whites for Gingrich’ campaign. There would be non-stop uproar. But Obama does the equivalent and gets a free pass.”

Wake up Christians!  Do you know that the government can shut down a ministry that openly campaigns for any candidate.  Doesn’t it disturb you that on the basis of race alone the IRS is looking the other way on this matter?

Mr. President, you attack the church when its suits your ends, and then you use it when it suits your ends.  How dare you move to overpower the doctrine and conscience of Catholics by ordering their Charities  to provide contraceptives to women.  How dare you then turn around and essentially order the black church to become your personal army of vote getters?  .

What really breaks my heart is how you are violating Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream.  This tactic of yours  does not emanate from the freedom marches of Birmingham but from the smoky back rooms of Chicago. Dr. King dreamed of a day when his children would not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.   Launching “African Americans for Obama” is code for vote for me because I am black and you are black and not on the merits of my character, my leadership, or any promises I have kept.

Some who will read this may accuse me of getting political but I am not getting political. Look at it this way:  If I have a neighbor who is quiet and stays in their yard everything is fine.  If however, they jump the fence and menace my family I have to stop them.  The White House has jumped the fence and they want to intimidate  the Body of Christ…can I remain silent?

Under this administration’s watch Christianity and Israel have continually  come under attack.  I must cry out before all of our freedoms have eroded.  Not a day goes by without another report of assaults on our freedom of worship.  Churches are harassed; educators punish Christian students who witness for “hate speech.”

This has happened because of a mind numbing need for power that we ignore at our own peril.  It is time for all minorities in the body of Christ to discern the times!  It is time for these ministries running around calling themselves “prophets”  to stand up and be prophets!  Instead of giving bored believers prophetic flattery, they need to get in the closet of prayer and be transformed from kittens who need adulation and comfort into lions who roar the truth. 

 Yes, I rebuke you Mr. President, but it is also my duty to pray fervently for you and that I will do everyday hoping for a miracle in your heart ignited by a mighty baptism of the Holy Ghost!

A Time to Fight.
It is mourning in America. She fights for her life as she has not fought since the Civil War. Her muscles fail from exertion, her mind grows weary, frantically seeking answers. For a minute it looked like she would catch a break from the storm. Instead, new clouds have formed, the angriest winds are raging, and rain is falling like a hail of bullets. Tragically, for the good people of Alabama and Joplin Missouri this is more than a metaphor.
Hope deferred has made the American Dream heart sick. Locusts feed on the American way of life. Our leaders apply cures that are worse than the disease. Nothing seems to work against this maelstrom. Talent does no good. We have a cabinet full of talented failures. Genius is not enough; unrewarded genius is now a proverb. Even education has lost its edge. We are overrun with educated derelicts. No, for this monster we need something completely different.
The righteous are the key to restoration. We hold an entire generation’s future in our hand. However, the Bible asks a burning question: “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?-Psalm 11:3. We all know that we must do something drastic; we must do something that will work, but what is it?
In order for us to know what to do we must understand what time it is. This is the missing weapon. Speaking of weapons, 1 Chronicles 12 describes the various fighting skills of the tribes of Israel. The most unique weapon is Issachar. Verse 32 describes them as “men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” That is the gift we need.
So what time is it? It is time to look back at the very first 4th of July for an important reminder. Having exhausted every means of peaceful resolution our Founding Fathers told King George III it was time to fight. Jefferson penned these immortal words, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
The American dream draws its life from these words. But now an invisible tyrant is taking that all away . Many of the puppets of this tyrant do not even know why they rail against prayer, marriage and the Word of God, even when it makes no sense.
So what time is it? It is time to fight. I know that we think we need words of encouragement. I am sure that this feels like a good time for a word of comfort but I do not believe that such a word is right. Soothing words will not break the stranglehold on your emotions, your loved ones, your finances, your church or your nation. It is time to fight! We are flabby from flattering words of spiritual entitlement. Smiley faced sermons may appease our inner child but they do nothing about the wolf at the door. We need fighting words!
Few things in history are as awesome as the words of a gifted general. He faces certain defeat yet finds just the right words that will ignite his troops to impossible victory. This is a time for such words. We are flabby from flattering words of spiritual entitlement.
Americans are in virtually the same condition as the Jews when they were trying to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. They forgot their God and made covenants with paganism. They were fearful of opposing the surrounding tribes that did not want a restored Israel. Nehemiah is the general we need today and his words to the sheepish Jews are the words we need so desperately today:
“ Do not be afraid of the enemy; [earnestly] remember the Lord and imprint Him [on your minds], great and terrible, and [take from Him courage to] fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14
Fight! Fight the urge to wallow in self pity, fight the drowsy spirit that lets you drone in front of a screen for hours a day. Fight the pull of compromise and shake yourself for war! You have no time to waste! Fight the images of dread that show you bankrupt ,destitute and diseased. Fight for the power to break destructive habits and relationships. Fight for the courage to face the church board and declare your fiery intention to see revival. Fight your schedule and subdue it for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
Fight is a five letter word. Let each letter be emblazoned in your spirit! Here is how you fight:
Find your secret place.
You must designate a place to pray. You must go there every day. Jesus even suggested a closet! David declared “early will I seek you.” No warm bed could hold David when the tractor beam of prayer hit his spirit. To say you have no time to pray is to raise the white flag of surrender to the devil. Your secret place will tell you what to do and arm you to do it. In the closet you will meet God and then God will go with you into the battles of your life. Pray creates time. It multiplies back the time it uses. How much time did bad decisions use up this week? How many bad people are using up your life right now? People that prayer would have changed or removed. How many hours went into worrying about problems that left at the altar would have left you with more time? There are miracles all around us and they happen every day. You miss them because of your overactive wits and aggressive need to tackle problems. How many dreams have you postponed because you lacked the courage that prayer imparts?
Intensify you actions.
When you emerge from the closet of prayer, you will emerge a mighty warrior ready to take the next important step which is intense action. You must intensify your spirit and become a forceful doer. You must attack work, chores, and opportunities. In 2 Kings 13 the Prophet gave the King an amazing opportunity to defeat his enemy. He told him to take arrows and beat the ground with them. He promised him that God would strike his enemy with the same force and as many times as he struck the ground. The King had no fire in his belly for war and love tapped the ground only three times. Verse 19 says “And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.” Treat each day as the day that you get to take your shot and you will do it with all of your might.
Go beyond.
Doctors told Americans to run for exercise and we refused. Then someone said “run a marathon” and running became a craze. That is just the way we are. We really do not want to do something until it is impossible. In the battle you are facing the surprising problem might be that you are too conservative with your vision. You may be missing the voice of God simply because He has much bigger plans for you than you have for yourself. Small plans have no power to excite men’s blood and they probably will not work out anyway. America needs a flood of visionary Christians that
Are full of faith and vision. The Holy Spirit can reignite the American spirit through every day people who choose to shake off the rampant pessimism and negative talk and build great things for the glory of God. Going beyond means living outside of the mundane. If you choose to go beyond you will take other people with you. Nothing chases away doubt and depression like fresh vision!
Heal the land.
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. -2 Timothy 1:6 Do not neglect your supernatural ministry! I hope that you realize that whatever you do to make money is just a front for your real occupation which is to destroy the works of the devil. Nothing has been a greater passion for me than the truth that every believer is an extension of the healing ministry of Jesus. Not only have we seen people healed on the streets while out witnessing the overwhelming number of those who were healed were not believers at the time. Much has been said about being purpose driven but little is actually said about the purpose. 1 John 3:8 says, “for this purpose was the Son of God revealed that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Find your career, pay your bills and love your family but do not ever forget your ministry of destroying the works of evil. Words of knowledge, prophecies and acts of supernatural deliverance dwell in you and the Holy Spirit is schooling you to express them. There are many theories about how to save our nation. If you consider the fact that we are running out of time and you factor in that our nation’s crisis is truly supernatural then it follows that the cure is supernatural.

Take your place.
So long as you feel like a second class citizen no amount of breakthrough will stick. You will always have the nagging thought in the back of your mind that you do not deserve God’s blessings and that they are only temporary. God wants to establish you. Think deeply for a moment about what that means. It means that when you fail you will get back up. It means that no matter what storms come you are rooted in God and you are designated by THE LORD HIMSELF to occupy a special place reserved especially for you. Until you are firmly grounded and established you will never keep your victories. As our nation faces her greatest darkness there must be a new breed of believer roaming the land. Believers who know their God and are known by their God. Christians must emerge who have settled the great questions and do not flinch in the face of adversity. If God before us who can be against us cannot be a wistful catchphrase but a core belief that is irrevocably embedded in our heart. It is time to fight to bring America back to greatness.

When God healed little Kurt’s eyes

Hi Mario,

I want to share with you a story that will encourage you. I am 33 years old
and a Worship Pastor at a church in Reno, Nevada. When I was young I lived
in Salem, OR. I went to school and church at Salem Christian Center which
was an Assemblies of God Church. You visited there when I was 11 years old,
and my family and I attended one of the night services. During the altar call
you called for people who wanted a touch from God and I went forward because
I felt I wanted a deep touch of God in my life. I was struggling in school,
so two years previous to your outreach meeting my parents had taken me to an
eye doctor to get glasses. The ones he gave me were thick like coke bottles.
Anyway, when I went forward for prayer I didn’t know what I wanted God to
do in my life, I just knew that the spirit was drawing me. So I went forward, knelt at the altar where there was several hundred people and closed my eyes. You came by and laid your hands on the back of my head, and went on to the next person. When I opened my eyes after you prayed and my glasses were blurry and when I took them off I could see clearly. I was so happy and but kept it quiet for a few weeks about the healing because I knew my dad would be mad because of the money he spent on the glasses and the eye doctor. Which he was mad about, but now he praises God for my healing. I have had and still have 20/20 vision. God completely restored my vision and healed me. Praise God for that. I know that sometimes in ministry we never know the impact we have had on peoples lives, and if the fruit remained. I wanted to let you know if was by God’s design you went to Salem, OR and that you ministered to me, cause for the last 22 years I have used that testimony to build others faith and to lead many people to Christ. Thank you for your faithfulness and responding to God.

When evil does its worst God will do His best.

Modern problems are now supernatural. To hold a family together today requires supernatural help.  To keep one’s sanity in the dizzying pace of today demands an emotional foundation that is superhuman.  Some will think that their problems are so deep that they have run off the map of the Bible.


Now for the good news: This can be the greatest year of your life.  Despite all the bad news and the threatening conditions you can do things this year that you never thought were possible. This is no hollow boast. My bold confession is based on a spiritual law!  When evil does its worst, God will do His best.  Let me demonstrate: When Pharaoh raged Moses appeared. When Goliath roared David came forth.  When the world seemed hopelessly locked in the grip of Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel leveled him with prophetic authority. Ruth and Boaz, the greatest love story of the Old Testament came in the darkness of the time of the Judges. Isaac obtained a hundredfold harvest in the midst of a grinding drought.  When the New Testament Church seemed doomed, their chief persecutor, Saul of Tarsus became Paul the Apostle.


Here is your promise: Isaiah 60:1-5, “ Arise, shine; For your light has come!  And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 “ Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. 5 Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” 


God will make grace, power and miracles available at this time in history that were never available before.  It is His law to surpass the evil of each generation with goodness.  If you want to know what the heart of this letter is, it is all about enforcement.


The real threat is that you would be deceived into small plans when you are supposed to have big ones.  We always enlarge the threat of failure and diminish the damage of not trying.  Regret is the real cancer of life.  When you look back on your life, you hardly ever regret trying something that was seemingly impossible.  What brings us pain are those memories of lost opportunity and the gnawing feeling of what might have been if we had just tried one more time.


Heaven wants expression.  Our heart must not just mouth the words, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” our life must match it with plans that are born from prayer and we must act on those plans with fierce boldness!

Designed to live behind enemy lines

In John 17… He says “I pray not that you take them out of the world but that You keep them from the evil one.  This simple phrase separates us from all of the world’s religions!  Our faith is the only one that is designed for life behind enemy lines!

Look at the religious world.  You will find it replete with monasteries for hiding, rituals of escape and arduous methods for maintaining contact with their God. We are the ones who are never left or forsaken.  We are the ones who carry our own temple of worship where ever we go. We are the ones with the indwelling Spirit of God who can give power, guidance, joy and peace through any storm.  We are the ones who are hard wired to transform adversity into even greater victory!

Happiness has little to do with removing problems and challenges.  It has almost everything to do with being fully alive. When your life is big enough, the trials don’t count!

We cannot be sissies and crybabies who seek crisis avoidance instead of life involvement.  If appeasing life and escaping its din is happiness, then the cemetery is the happiest place on Earth!

Jesus had walked with His twelve for sixteen chapters before He told them “Until now you have asked nothing; ask and receive that your joy may be full.”  (John 16:24)  Our goal is not a painless, easy life; but a life invested in adventures against evil. Our joy comes from being fully deployed, firing on all cylinders and preoccupied with loving, giving, planning, and executing divinely imparted orders.  This divine preoccupation will act like tank treads rolling over and crushing the problems of your life.


A healing that you should know about

Praise God!  I was healed tonight of spine injury for 8 years, near the base of my spine around waist area. happened at church while the minister was calling out healings for arthritis, heart disease, etc. it is completely healed and no sharp pains, no pain at all. Glory to God!! 🙂 minister specifically called out spine injury, described how it happened and described the pain i had been feeling. i thought.. well that sounds pretty much like my story, so i took it by faith 🙂 Thank and praise God! All glory to him, he is so good! 🙂

updated; I found out i can’t stoop to pull open the kitchen drawers, haha. my spine was so corrected at the base, that my posture won’t allow me to stoop over haha. wow, so i had to actually bend the knees a little to open a drawer that wasn’t that far down in the first place. i can do pushups and crunches without any pain, and sleep on my back no problem. i can also breath better, because before i had a shortness of breath where i couldn’t inhale as much oxygen as i can now, due to lack of proper posturing, so it actually effected my lungs. it’s amazing what God’s healing power can do.

Specifically, I was ushering and didn’t want to take my eyes off the crowd, so I wasn’t focusing on checking my back when he called on me. i only believed, placed my hand on the base of my spine, was praying in belief, and I thought i heard God say, just check it later, because i couldn’t focus on that while doing my usher job at the same time. well, it was after most people had left the service that i remembered to check my back. while pressed it, the pain was as sharp as ever, but it completely left while i was pressing against it. i kept checking it for about an hr off and on, because it seemed so different not having the feeling of pain anymore. well, it’s definitely gone for good 🙂 thank you God

if you’ve asked for healing and confessed healing on a part of your body, just continue to thank God for it. don’t give up declaring that it is healed. Just keep seeking him and putting him first in your life. i can’t explain it other than to say it’s the mercies of God, the power of God, the healing of Jesus, the anointing that destroys yokes and burdens, and the absolute total love of God. he is our doctor more than anyone else. the original physician and healer. he is so technical with it and exact in an instant, and i received it by his faith that he gave to me, which he has given each one of us to whom believes in his name and in the blood of Jesus.  -Jason Clegg

Plowing over end time fear

If you want a simple description of the End Times the Bible says,” Men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”  (Luke 21:26)

The end times then are a battlefield of toxic messages, images of dread that produce fatigue and crippling emotions.

Your first order is to intercept these toxic messages and replace them with powerful new ones from the Bible and your own spirit.

You can control your emotions by talking back to them. The proof of this is in what Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  This command cannot be obeyed unless we the power to tell our heart what to do.

David directly challenged his emotions in Psalm 42:5 “Why are you cast down, O my soul?  And why are you disquieted within me?  Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” Here you see David challenging the credibility of his feelings and commanding them to hope in God.

You must flood your soul with victorious messages.  Don’t allow voices of dread to go unanswered.  Put them in their place!  Remind yourself of how many times God pulled you out of seemingly impossible crisis. Take a statement like, “I can’t believe I’ve lost everything and I have to start over at this age” and replace it with, “This is my chance to start anew and do better than before because I am smarter and stronger now”.  Replace questions of dread: “why did I have to be born in such an evil time as this?” with questions of hope like, “Isn’t it an unspeakable honor to be on earth for God’ greatest acts?”
