The Glory of God: What happened Friday Night in Branson.
By Mario Murillo
You are about to read what eyewitnesses say they saw Friday night in Branson. Their comments leave me broken—humbled beyond words—and fearfully dependent upon Jesus. I would not feel comfortable being the only one telling you about Friday night…it was just too holy. No one but Christ should receive the Glory for this miracle in Branson.
But…the word must get out. This time of devastation and fear needs good news. The struggling pastors everywhere need confirmation that God is working wonders in the land. Discouraged Christians everywhere need proof of the surpassing power of God. Most of all—lost souls, and those who live in America that have forgotten Jesus or have never seen His reality.
Here are the words of two eyewitnesses who were in the Glory last Friday night:
Evangelist Connie Carpenter (who came all the way from Phoenix, Arizona) said of last night:
“In last night’s meeting the atmosphere was invaded with the presence and the powerful FREEDOM of the Holy Spirit! Healings and miracles broke out spontaneously and even the air we breathed seemed charged with the electrifying Holy presence of the living God.”
Pastor John Willis’ eyewitness account of Friday night October 2, 2015:
“Yet another night of miracles in Branson with Mario Murillo now in its 6th week: A woman stands beside me visibly shaking…brother Mario reveals, “God is healing you of Parkinson’s Disease” as she falls to her knees giving glory to God. A young man in his twenties is healed of diabetes…even multiple sclerosis is healed in a weeping grateful woman. I’ve been in the ministry for 40 years and have never witnessed a raw demonstration of the love and power of God.”
Dino was our special guest. He played the piano and shared powerful moments of his time with Kathryn Kuhlman. The audience listened as he and I conversed about the Glory of God. Instantly, we began to feel exactly what we were talking about. The presence came into that room as I have never—ever felt it in my life and transformed everyone in the room.
The Holy Spirit began healing. Each miracle eclipsed the one before it. The room fills with rejoicing, weeping and shouting. We all had to vent the Glory that was upon us.
One healing stands out. It is the one that Pastor John Willis mentioned. I am ordered to ask a woman to come out to the aisle. It was one of those rare occasions where I had not yet been told what was being healed.
I stood staring, waiting obediently for my Lord to speak. I hear, “multiple sclerosis.” I tell her, “You have multiple sclerosis!” All at once, she begins to jump, and move her arms and legs almost violently, demonstrating her miracle.
After several minutes of unfettered power, the Lord sent stillness. I was suddenly overcome by the need to make an impassioned plea to the audience. “We cannot keep this to ourselves! We must give it away!” I took them to Luke 14 and exhorted them to see the great banquet that was prepared and how the master ordered his workers to go out to the highways and hedges and compel souls to come in.
We left with a mixture of joy, reverence and resolve. This event in Branson does not cease to amaze. It is still intensifying. No one but God knows what will happen tonight.
