An act of God

A massive number of Christians are experiencing a strange miracle.  And we are discovering that this was predicted—in detail.

The Holy Spirit is separating them. He has selected them for special grace and power to accomplish mighty acts at the edge of history. They will be uniquely equipped to face the sophisticated evil of our time. But it all begins by making peace with the Holy Spirit and restoring His rightful place in our hearts and in the church.

Take a close look at the book of Acts and you will see the disarming down-to-earth way they related to the Holy Spirit. While they revered Him deeply, they had a sense of His nearness and His involvement in their day to day operation. They behaved as if He was close by and they could almost see Him. Most of all, they anticipated His instructions.

Acts 13:2 “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.”

Millions are now hearing the same call: “SEPARATE TO ME!” The Holy Spirit told David Wilkerson about this coming separation, and how pockets of prophetic people would huddle together across our nation.

He said, “God-hungry people are saying among themselves, “This is not it. There is something more. The bigness and the sensationalism of it all has left us empty and dry. We want more. More than entertainment. More than big, showy buildings. More than a shallow celebrity gospel. We want deeper values. We want to see Jesus. We want spotless robes of righteousness. We want to go back to doing things in total dependence on God.”

Many of these people were chased out of churches that were once fiery, Spirit-filled churches that had taken on a new ‘seeker-friendly’ format. They saw their church now focused on church growth, down-playing the presence of the Holy Spirit, and only designed to attract outsiders. They felt punished for wanting a move of God.

They are fed up with the world system—especially when they see it operating in the church.  They can’t stomach the glitzy entertainment centers anymore. They believe we have no time to play games.  They are frustrated that church is catering to the lukewarm members.

They are done with egocentric preachers with grandiose, expensive and carnal visions that having nothing to do with soul winning or revival.  They accuse these preachers of being distracted—even derailed from their first love.   Disciples are abandoning “attraction” churches, and something revolutionary is happening inside them.  God is starting a fresh movement.

David Wilkerson explained more of what he saw coming: “God is revealing to all praying people that a glorious new work of the Spirit is about to break forth. God is going to shake everything that can be shaken. He will tear down the old political, backslidden, ecclesiastical system. He will disown the formal, super-church structure. He will chase out of His presence all who are engaging in self-promoting ministries.”

The praying people he mentions will force changes.  They are a new breed for a new need. They are frustrated, hungry, and their numbers are growing fast.  They are coalescing around certain truths: fasting, repentance, and holy surrender to Christ.

Smith Wigglesworth saw this separation coming way back in 1927.  He predicted the same group of people that  David Wilkerson described: “All the people which are pressing into and getting ready for this glorious attained place where they shall not be found naked, where they shall be blameless, where they shall be immovable, where they shall be purified by the power of the Word of God, have within them a consciousness of the very presence of God within, changing their very nature and preparing them for a greater thing, and causing them to be ready for translation.”

Both men believed that this gathering unto the Holy Spirit would begin after a great falling away.

Wigglesworth said, “We have to see that these days have to come, before the Lord can come. There has to be a falling away. There are in the world two classes of believers. There are believers which are disobedient, or I ought to say there are children which are saved by the power of God which are disobedient children. And there are children which are just the same saved by the power of God, who all the time are longing to be more obedient.”

I know that the moment predicted by these two men is upon us. Every day, I receive another account of frustrated saints who have been suddenly driven to hours of prayer. Many are fasting. A vast number are about to find each other in a true outbreak of holy fire. Millions of believers across America feel they are being separated to the Holy Spirit for some amazing, yet unknown, reason. David Wilkerson talked about a “work” within us. Smith Wigglesworth talked about “pressing in.” The image is clear…the Holy Spirit is stirring souls across the nation. They are done with the overuse of big screens, skinny jeans, and fog machines.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal! But mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds!

These frustrated saints are being pulled away from fleshly things, even as a spirit of prayer is overtaking them. They are surrendering to a special work of the Holy Spirit. A fresh work of the Holy Spirit has begun, and the impact will soon be widespread in all the earth!

  2. Dear Brother Mario…  this is sooooooo RIGHT ON!!!!!  Many of us have left the seeker only churches knowing there is more but not knowing where to go.  God will cause those of us to find each other.  I’m praying for you and your mission. Interceding in Phoenix, Nancy Larson

  3. My wife and I in this very same place and this message confirms what we feel the Lord is doing in our lives Thank you for your message. Kind Regards Paul

  4. What seems to be missing from so many churches these days is pentecostal fire and fervor. Are big churches once burning with pentecostal fire just morphing into plain Jane “bible churches” with altruistic community outreach programs as the trademark? I go to an advertised pentecostal church but I ask myself,”Where are the gifts”? Where are the manifestations of the Holy Spirit? Where are the altar calls to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Now the clarion call of the day from the pulpit seems to be, just join another church home group….whether it interests you or not….ballroom dancing, toastmasters, grief support, etc. ……and dont forget to download the bible app in the foyer….Have I missed something? Am I being too critical and rebellious and judgmental? I feel like sending my tithe check to a soul winning ministry instead of to the church.

    1. I hope you don’t mind my replying to your post. I understand what you are saying. There used to be meetings where no one wanted to leave. The Presence of God was so heavy in the room, that the end of the service came and every soul in the place literally stood still. You could hear a pin drop. Worship music had to begin again and people wanted to continue to worship and pray. There were no big screens, no smoke machines, etc,. I don’t want to be critical either, I’m just trying to figure this out. I know the church has a heart, and a big one, for revival. I am guessing-and it’s only an uneducated, non-anointed person’s guess-the big screen and the flashy lights, and all the rest-could be distracting the people from the call to go forward and pray fervently for God to cleanse us and send revival. We need to be challenged to seek holiness, to search our hearts, and to fall on our faces before God if that’s what it takes for the fire of God to fall on us. The world is dying around us, the country, as good as the economy is, is almost in its death throws culturally. We are at critical mass for massive problems. The Holy Spirit is the only One Who can heal this land.

      1. My old church (no longer attend it) use to be like that, especially in the 80s and 90s. People who got born-again said that they were driving down the road and just felt that they had to go in. And my old pastor (he is passed away; his son is he pastor now, about to give it other to his son, but I digress) was so anointed. The Holy Spirit was allowed to move and people got saved during the offering, and sometimes he didn’t even preach.
Now churches are always in a hurry; rush rush.
If people don’t want to stay, let them leave, but don’t rush the service. Allow him to move freely. People will stand for overtimes in a football game, but church? Hurry hurry hurry! Let me do my weekend duty and be gone.

  5. Truth as California goes, so goes the Nation. We are standing on the focal point of the greatest revival that America has ever seen. This could prolong the return of the Lord; although many who were honestly lead astray are returning to Jesus with open arms.
What God is doing in one area, He puts on the heart of of all areas. The tent makers are busy sending Gospel Tents all over the country.
Be bold, be strong the spirit of the Lord is upon you, what He does for one He will do for all. Go forth with Holyspirit Power and Fear Not, the enemy can’t do anything to harm you, he is bound, he can only threaten, God is in full control.
The darker it gets the brighter we shine, be about The Fathers business, the doors are open; there is nothing that we have done that Jesus won’t forgive us for, He stands at the door of our heart and knocks, open up and let Him in…

  6. Our church engages in some of the things mentioned in this word. And I can honestly say, I think I’d be fine without them. But at the same time, I see all that it is doing for the community and the fervency they have for getting souls saved, so I’m not about to criticize and touch God’s anointed. I was concerned for a while because it seemed there was not the focus on the Holy Spirit that there used to be, but that seems to be returning. And their hearts are truly for revival. They want revival for all of their hearts. Something seems to be holding it up and I am not sure what it is. If I had to guess, I would say there may still be a lack of total dependency on the Holy Spirit, and the messages from the pulpit, although good, are going to have to awaken us to the threat of losing our culture, our education, and our country, to the radical atheist agenda along with radical lgbt movements. Yes, I know pastors have to be careful and it’s easy for me to say they may be coming to a place of having to count the cost of preaching boldly and loudly, but the hour is late and the wolves are at the door. Trans/lgbt materials are being brought into the schools at the earliest of grades now. If we don’t save our children, we will answer to the Lord for allowing this.

  7. From a pentecostal perspective I always hear the cry for signs, wonders and the gifts to emerge, but the pervasive evil world in which we live, The Sodom of today, God is calling believers to a greater understanding, a greater manifestation of His Spirit that isn’t just an prolific immature exhibition of “tongues.” To be filled with God’s Spirit isn’t just a baptism of “tongues. It is as the God’s Word declares, an infilling of the Person of the Holy Spirit in all of His fullness, wisdom fruit and gifting. God certainly gives us “signs and wonders.” and yet those manifestations do not necessarily reflect the kind of discipline and maturity needed in the fallen, atrophied and apostate church today. God is literally screaming to His children, “When are you going to grow up and be ready for eternity with Me?” Just look at those we “esteem” in ministry who carry letters and titles in leadership. The leaven of just LBGTTQQGFP and pro-abortionism sinfulness has “filled” the church instead of the Holy Spirit. Yes, God loves His people, but there is a greater demand for His holiness. God’s love for His creation will throw many who sit in the pews today into outer darkness and a fiery eternity, where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth … I can hear the voices of those who refused to repent, those of Matthew 7:21-23 and Hebrews 6:1-6. Genuine, heartfelt repentance is the foundation for revival, restoration, renewal, refreshing and regeneration, but God is weary of all these and instead is looking for a revolution, a change in the governing of the church from men back to God Almighty. Thus says the Lord of Hosts, Heaven and Earth.

  8. Sometimes it’s hard, because there are those who claim Christ, yet live, talk, walk and believe contrary to God’s Word. Take Pete Buttigieg, for instance, he claims Christ, which are true believers know he is a poser. Then there are the so-called Christians that approve of homosexuality and say it isn’t sin, and some even go so far as to say, gay “marriage” can be “holy”!
If you speak the truth about that, people who claim Christianity, will say “you’re being judgmental”, “that was for that time period, they didn’t know how it would be later”, and whatever lie Satan can fill their mouth with.

Then there are those who say the Bible is just a book about stories we are to glean from, not to be taking seriously. And that we just need to worry about “social justice”, and not worry them about repentance and turning to Jesus. Those people are doubters; I understand being a human you doubt, but it should never ever be a permanent place within Christianity! A perpetual doubtful Christian, is a powerless one.

And there are people who fall for those lies and are deceived even more.

The falling away is happening, but always the wheat and tares grow up together, and at the end, the tares will be burnt up and the wheat be made manifest.
