You can’t dwell on the frightening images you will see on cable news. You can’t cave in to the hysteria.  There is something extremely important you must take care of.

After you have taken every precaution necessary for remaining safe—after you have settled it in your soul to remain strong in the Lord, wholly trusting in Him, it will be time for you to fight back.

Everything in me tells me these are the most important days you will know in our lifetime. Waste them, and it will be the greatest regret of your life.

Turn your days at home into the most important breakthrough ever. Turn feelings of helplessness into fuel for an amazing outcome. These are days to let God do a shocking new work inside you.

It all begins with the story of Paul being arrested and put in prison. Satan put Paul in prison, intending to inflict massive damage on Christianity. He thought Paul could no longer win souls, and he could not teach the fledgling churches that desperately needed his Apostleship. In fact, he couldn’t do anything…except for one thing.

He began writing. And writing would be the most devastating thing Paul would ever do to Satan’s kingdom. If Paul hadn’t been confined, he might never have had the time to write.  How could he possibly imagine his writings would impact billions?  Paul ended up writing 60% of the New Testament. Selah.

Jailing Paul was the stupidest mistake Satan ever made, besides crucifying Christ. Now let me show you how to make this confinement in your home, his next major mistake.

1. Model faith to your children. Settle it in your soul that God will pay your bills, protect your job and restore what you have lost. Don’t speak fear and doubt in your home! The greatest lesson you will ever model for your children—and the greatest gift you will ever leave to them—is to confess that everything that has been lost will be restored. Because when this is over and God comes through—as you know He will—they will remember and apply these lessons in their lives, whenever they are threatened. The greatest thing your children can watch you do is trust in God.

2. Read the Bible. Dump all the questionable prophetic words and conspiracy theories. Some in the prophetic camp are losing credibility because they foolishly predicted this plague would leave suddenly. Some even set a date—one that will likely prove them wrong.  In the Old Testament such “prophets” would have been stoned. It is this lack of consequence in the prophetic camp that has wreaked havoc and left many unprepared for the storm that is upon us.

The same applies to conspiracies. How much clearer can the Bible be? Isaiah 8:12-13, “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, neither be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The Lord of Armies, Him you shall hallow; let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.”

It’s all over the internet, and religious broadcasting: ‘There is a worldwide secret society! It’s the devil and his vessels! Nancy Pelosi cooked up coronavirus in a Chinese laboratory!’

Stop needing a “word from God” from people. Stop digging into controversy. In 2 Timothy 2:23 Paul warned, “Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels.”

Instead, read the Bible! Now that you have a lot of time, get the Word of God in you. That is the most powerful protection, and the best way to understand how to weather this storm.

3. Make a list of goals for this down-time, and work hard to meet those goals. Already, you see how many things have stolen your time.  You see how many things that previously cluttered your life, seem unimportant now. Because you are a child of God, nothing of yours that is vital will be stolen. Your job and your business will be brought back to life. Therefore, choose to see this as a kind of paid vacation. Paid by God.

It is a time to make overdue changes, and big and bold plans for the future. To do that, you must get to work. That means no binge-watching Netflix! It means you seek the heart of God and ask Him to show you the goals He wants you to accomplish. Write those goals out, and make the righteous choices that give those goals the very best chance of coming to pass.

Paul wrote much of the New Testament while he was in forced confinement. Great projects will be born—projects that may swallow up the wrong ones you had before.

Lastly make the most important goal list of all: the things you are never are never going back to.

4.Turn prayer into a habit. Inspiration will lead you to pray, but you must decide to form the habit that will keep you praying. The chilling fact is that if you do not pray during this pandemic, you will never pray at all. Let God deliver you from the greatest hindrances to prayer that I know of: impulse prayer and feeling-based prayer.

Right now, forget about how long you pray. Focus on praying each and every day. Behaviorists have shown that it takes doing something 35 times in a row, before it becomes a habit. If you create that habit, and deepen that habit, you will own life’s greatest skill.  James 5:16, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

5. Focus on personal repentance, not national repentance. You do it! Don’t wait for others, or even think about other people’s repentance. People have been babbling about national repentance as if it was something other people need to do. We don’t see national repentance happening yet, so don’t wait for it to happen. Repent on your own!

We do not even see widespread repentance among preachers. Have you heard many preachers on social media admit they’ve been wrong?  We are flooded with messages from preachers. But have you heard one major pastor or preacher repent or promise that they will run church differently than they did before? Do you see any preacher who isn’t just chomping at the bit to restart the same old thing? I promise you, unless deep repentance takes place, you will be shocked at how unchanged the American church will be, after all of this. Think about this: How much really changed after 9/11?

Remember, God is judging America as much because of the world, as because of the church.  The carnal church has left us open to this disaster. And yet, without repentance, we have zero reason to believe it won’t go back to exactly the way it was before. In other words, they will have learned nothing from the pandemic. They just don’t get it.

We pray that God will not force the issue of repentance by extending and deepening our national crisis, until America implodes completely. But you have to wonder how they can all say they want this to be over, and yet they still will not repent.

But, we must not set our hope on that. Our hope is founded on the knowledge that we must repent before God—and that is personal repentance. That will lead to the real miracle of mercy. You see, you can stand as a priest between the sins of America, the sins of the church, and God. That is true intercession. There is a righteous core of believers who can turn this plague away. (read Numbers chapter 16)

Remember, God said He would spare Sodom and Gomorrah if there were just 10 righteous people. We are not going to rebuke this away; we are going to repent it away. You have the power to stand between God and this virus.

We must give God what He is seeking. We can’t worry about how many others are interceding, even if there are only a few. The promises of the Lord are never vague! Neither are the conditions to His promises.

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

  1. Fantastic. Absolutely with you on all this as it continues what He has been telling us for the last six months or so.

  2. Wow I think God is reading to you my mail.. This pretty much sums up my love to show Jesus to world.. keep sending Holy Spirit commands Mario.. God bless from Northwest Washington State little town of America..

  3. “We pray that God will not force the issue of repentance by extending and deepening our national crisis, until America implodes completely. But you have to wonder how they can all say they want this to be over, and yet they still will not repent.”

Could it be that God is using the Godless Left, Communist China, blatant Marxist Ideology, MSM, BLM, and every other Anti-Christ agenda to make us all very uncomfortable? The feel good message of the false shepherds is over and it is past time for the Church in America to have a rude awakening with her deep abiding sin. Yes, it is an individual, personal matter and we cannot look to anyone else but our very own self. It is in our hands and our responsibility to heed the LORD’S remedy for our disease.

    Isaiah 9:8-21
    2 Chronicles 7:14
    2 Corinthians 12:20-13:5

    1. Mario, great exhortation.

Noel, though I do agree that the generalized American institutional Christian church has left far too much undone and under par with “feel good messages” that were promoted for too long.
I cannot agree with the idea of God’s use of godless individuals who have not just made most American Patriots “uncomfortable” but that are actually executing an over throw of our current democratic republic government right before our eyes. And are getting away with it daily!
These evil doers are so far off the grid of mere constitutional rights to assemble in protest, they are definitively off in the twilight zone with communist Marxists take over. That is their plan and mantra.
To think that our holy Lord put these incredulous people into action to give us in America a ‘teachable moment’, is to diminish the biblical account of when, what and how God operates when HE has had enough of sin, exampled through Sodom and Gomorrah, when He didn’t only “imply” HE was upset by utilizing a rank group organizing a coup d’é·tat with lawless evil doers, but instead, God sent a fire storm from heaven, completely and utterly demolishing by explosion 2 cities in a moment, in the flickering of an eye.
Of this be reminded what the Hebrews writer said…our ‘God is an all consuming fire’.

      1. Carolina,

I would just say that God has had a history of using the wicked to judge his people and even other pagan nations. There are so many examples throughout
scripture. The scripture portion in Isaiah I referenced is but one of them. The book of Habakkuk is all about the prophet’s complaint that God would use the wicked Chaldeans in judgment against Judah in his days. The sins of this nation are exceedingly great and the Lord is not pleased with a lukewarm Church. Even those that are on “fire” suffer because of the stubborn pride of others. All the prophets suffered because of their stiff necked countrymen who refused to repent and return to the LORD.

      2. I remember II Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

      3. Noel,
This is not an issue of the saints of God (which are by the millions in America alone) needing punishment for national sins committed by those OUTSIDE the Body of Christ.
You are quoting from ancient biblical texts (and prophets) that are definitively belonging to the house of Israel and the Old Mosaic Covenant. Do we learn from the experiential journey of the Hebrew people?…of course we do! And we also glean value and wisdom from the ancient biblical record and texts.

But we, as the new covenant church body of Christ Jesus, are not under the condemnation of God any longer…or the edict of God Almighty’s wrath brought to us through those OUTSIDE of our blood bought covenant. And we are no longer under the jurisdiction of the severity of old covenant law!

This is a true moment to rightly DIVIDE the word of Truth.
We must have real answers for today and we need them to come from a place of mercy and grace, not swathing edicts of “presumed ” Godly judgement.
America is on fire and being defaced by the hands and efforts of a scattered few propagandized Communists, who are ready, willing and able, to leave the cities and next travel to our suburban neighborhood streets, to do their dirty deeds. These are NOT doing this because God destined them to, they are doing this because of the lawlessness and vile mind set that lies within them.
It is biblically instructed to us, to never account God responsible for that which is done by satan himself.

  4. Agreed, amen and amen.

    1. Carolina,

The issue IS sins being committed by those IN the Body of Christ and LACK of repentance. Sins not repented of still have severe consequences.

      1. Noel,
As I understood it, the issue was Mario’s blog post revealing 5 things we could do during this time of the shutdown, the last being personal repentance not national repentance.

By the same token, painting with a broad brush, a picture of suggestion, that Christ The Savior and King, is issuing an edict to the dark forces of this present time, an order to disenfranchise His Own beloved by using evil as a weapon against His sons and daughters in judgement, is untenable during the dispensation of the church age, and in direct competition with Apostle Paul’s words clearly stating we are not destined for God’s wrath.
As well as Apostle Johns word saying “God is Love”. The Laodicean church always has the opportunity to hear Christ knocking at the door, they may be lukewarm but He still called them ‘the church’. The issue is actually about those OUTSIDE the church creating grief for it.
        So we have a theological dispute here…it isn’t the 1st time 2 people have.😊

  5. Thank you Mario for these wise five steps. One of my major goals, especially during this time, is to live from that sacred position, in that glorious gift purchased for us…I am seated with Him in heavenly places. This is where the Truth is, where Wisdom is, where Peace is. The only perspective to see from and the only voice to hear. The only place to pray from. Thanks be to God, who has the victory. And thank you for your sound direction and encouragement. Many blessings to you and yours!

  6. Daniel was a righteous man who repented for the sins of his nation. He brought an end to Babyonian captivity through his intercession. One of the elements of intercession, the Cross of Christ being the perfect example, is identifying with the sinner. I disagree with what you said about repenting for national sins, and ironically, so do the books you wrote.

    1. Carolina,
I am not saying the Church is under God’s wrath but I believe she is being severely rebuked. I think of Hebrews 12:5b-11. I pray we all learn from the current climate and are changed by it to God’s glory and praise.

With greater light comes greater responsibility. The coming of Jesus Christ and the Gospel Age only intensified faith and obedience to the commands of God. We have absolutely no excuse for sinful behavior and even for being deceived by seducing spirits that have made in roads in the church because we now have all the resources of heaven in and through the person of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I do not place all the blame for our current mess in the nation on the Church but she definitely needs to be purified from a lot of corruption and defilement. An united, spotless bride is what the Lord is coming for.

      1. Yes Noel,

The Bride like church Jesus Christ is coming for is considered to be spotless in His eyes.

The question that remains is, does one believe that it is Christ Jesus Who makes her spotless without wrinkle, or does she as Christ’s Body presume she has to take care of that herself?
Here we run into an age old problem run rampant within the ecclesia, Who’s sanctifying whom?
You said, “she definitely needs to be purified from a lot of corruption and defilement”…
Is that indeed fact or is it supposition?
Is Christ all sufficient or was He not? Was His grand sacrifice complete and final or not?

Are we who are justified by Faith to restore the old pattern which Christ’s atonement tore down and made all things new?
You said, “The coming of Jesus Christ and the Gospel Age only intensified faith and obedience to the commands of God.”

Yet Jesus explained during His life, we now call the (good news), “I give you a new command, to Love one another”…
Apostle John explained, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.”

Now I know I’m talking to someone who believes here today, so I’m cautious about how I speak to you.
But I ask you to consider there are many who profess to be Christians that are not in fact within the new brith, bride like church of Christ, exampled in the parable of the 10 virgins.
Only 1/2 get to go into the Groom, the other 1/2 Christ said He didn’t know.
Here also we have the wheat and the tares scenario, they grow up together.
Yet only one segment is wheat.

Here’s how I’ve come to discern who’s who, “if” there’s corruption, naughty excessive sins, blatant abuse of God’s Grace, usury within leadership, erroneous teaching, false prophecy, then most likely these aren’t within the Beloved of Christ in the first place.
And most probably these kind are being rebuked by God, in hopes they won’t be lost.

        How I better understand the miraculous work of God’s infinite Grace and our correct position within it, least anyone would boast;
        Incredible revelation here…(Galatians 2:14-21)

But when I saw that they were deviating from the truth of the gospel, I told Cephas in front of everyone, “If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel Gentiles to live like Jews?”
We are Jews by birth and not “Gentile sinners”; yet we know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified. But if, while seeking to be justified by Christ, we ourselves are also found to be sinners, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not!
**If I rebuild those things that I tore down, I show myself to be a lawbreaker. For through the law I have died to the law, that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.**
The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.

        Hope this helps.

  7. Good words Mario. I will remember these 5 things to do as I have been on furlough since March 27th and hopefully Lord willing return to work in August. Yes, if Satan had not put Paul in prison who knows
when Paul would have had time to write 60% of the bible. I myself also need to work more on my prayer life and reading more of the bible and listen to what God is saying.

  8. Thank you brother! Your faith and boldness encourage me so much – keep going.

The remnant is here with you – praying for you and holding onto the faith.

    Let me show you.

    1. Carolina,

As I see it, sanctification is an ongoing, cooperative work between the redeemed and our Lord and Saviour. Yes, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and belong to Christ the moment we trust in His atoning sacrifice. His blood is absolutely sufficient for the remission of our sins; however, there is so much more in this new life! When Paul wrote to the churches, he often addressed what was lacking in their faith. He spoke of “putting to death” whatever belonged to the earthly nature. Paul himself sought to be made “perfect” and confessed he had not obtained it.- Philippians 3:8-16

No one will walk in perfection as Jesus did but it is still to be our goal to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us from glory to glory.- 2 Corinthians 3:17,18 When I read the letters of Paul, I see someone who loves the churches he is writing to and he does make it a point to commend them, but he certainly deals with much carnality and error amongst the believers.

As a side note, I appreciate corresponding with someone who is in the Word in a world which mocks and is hostile to the things of God.

  9. What if a conspiracy is true? Should we not ask questions? You think there aren’t evil people plotting against the will of God behind the scenes? Isn’t the verse you quoted more about not being afraid? Does that mean we shouldn’t be aware so we can better recognize the enemies that stand in the way of advancing the Gospel?

There IS a one world govt at work that is fueled by Satanic powers.

People dismissing those that ask questions as “conspiracy theorists” are exactly how we have arrived at the bottom of this slippery slope.

There is plenty of proof there’s a group of elites that are running the world. Multiple politicians have spoke on camera about it as well as people like Kissinger, the Rockefeller’s, and many more.

I greatly admire and appreciate your work Mario but you need to understand that some conspiracies are true. Do your homework and use discernment. You have a responsibility to not just dismiss these so called “conspiracies”.

    1. Yes the deep state is real!
the YouTube show (And We know – Serial Brain)
      342,000 followers is very good.
He is a Chiristian brother, an ex-military who interprets Q also and loves Trump.
      Well worth the time.

    2. Shawn, strangely enough, Mario was talking about conspiracies just a couple posts back:
It’s possible when he said “questionable prophetic words and conspiracy theories”, he intended “questionable” to apply to conspiracy theories as well.

I personally think there are conspiracies, however, I don’t think they generally use human co-ordination. Often conspiracy theories hinge on behind the scenes collaborations between people that are generally at odds with each other. What I believe is happening is that the devil and his minions are at work planting targeted thoughts that speak to different selfish motives in disparate people in such a way that the devil’s plans “conspire” for evil. The good news is that our prayer (and repentance!) will break this co-ordination and also invites God’s hand into the situation!

  10. The only pastor I have heard preach REPENTANCE is John Hagee and Matt Hagee – a few weeks ago. Our family has gotten into the habit of praying every evening at 9pm and then taking communion. We have been doing this since Feb. 13th when the Holy Spirit prompted us and we are continuing until HE releases us. Wake up Church, come together in Unity, pray, take communion and receive God’s promises and His Prophets by Faith !! Keep the momentum going !!!!!!!

  11. Mario, I am concerned about the “divisiveness” I am seeing between Christians and their points of view and opinions ! I completely agree that each of us needs to repent of one’s own sin that we may be a true instrument in God’s hand. I also believe in standing in the gap for others and this nation and world. I do not believe that man is capable of wrapping his mind around all that is happening. When we try to figure all this out, we are playing GOD! We are NOT to surrender in this conflict but are to abandon our “human motivation” that God may intercede and do only that which God can do. Len Wisniewski

  12. Mario I really appreciate all your posts. I am getting them. Have watched you and Lance in the past. Blessings from western Canada 🇨🇦 Calgary Alberta ☂️

  13. Wow. Comments time looks like many of us were awake in the middle of the night . I was dancing, singing,, praising God anout 2 am. Wonderful time with JESUS CHRIST. Very unusual for me. I’m usually in bed early.

  14. Thing is, it’s hard to know where being “aware of what’s going on around us and not being too trusting of those in authority” ends, and, “conspiracy” begins. I think there may be some truth to be found in every conspiracy. Maybe the Lord is telling us in Isaiah 8 not to get too wrapped up in them. It’s possible to get carried away. That said, I think it’s obvious that top demos are using this virus to bring down Trump and gain more power. I think that’s what prophetic people were seeing. And that they will gladly hand us over to global government. Most of the top democrats are up in years. They’ve done nothing else with their lives beyond being in politics for decades. They know nothing else, could not start a business, make a payroll, build anything with their hands, even if they had to start today. They live in ivory towers with 15-20 ft walls around their mansions. They believe nothing will change for them when marxism takes over and are perfectly willing to tell us to, “eat cake”, when we run out of bread. Pelosi did go to China in 2015 and praise them all over the place for their, “progress in religious freedom” and other things. It’s documented. And who really thinks she would not use this virus and these riots and social/cultural chaos to further their agenda? In a heartbeat. I’m not prophetic, but I made the statement Sunday while talking with my family that now that the anarchists have torn down the statue of Francis Scott Key, they will go after than Anthem and say it has to go. Guess what the discussion was on Fox about twenty minutes ago? So, some of this is just being aware, and using common sense to keep our families safe. We now hear rumblings of another shut down. It will finish off these restaurants and small businesses. People are disgusted with the mask-wearing particularly. They’re ordering online everything they can. I thought every restaurant that opened would be packed and stay packed, after two months of people being locked up. They’re not. If we lock down again, I don’t see how we’ll recover.

  15. I am following you daily as I see you are a true prophet of God for this hour. Perhaps I don’t understand the word “conspiracy.” You are saying in this post not to believe or share “conspiracy theories.” But a couple days ago you posted about the terrible trio who are conspiring to take over the world. Isn’t that a “conspiracy?” Some of these things you are saying need to be unveiled and denounced from the pulpit. The plan of Obama to “rule” through Biden compared to the “report” that Pelosi created the virus in a Chinese lab (which seems ridiculous)…What are some spiritual guidelines for what we must publicly speak about and denounce, compared to the many false conspiracy theories?

    1. James, Thank you for your thoughtful post. Evil plans abound. Many things once considered a conspiracy have been proved to be fact. Separating truth from error is the unending task of any true warrior. Viruses spread through cell phone towers is an example of hysteria and distraction.
Notice how I am focused in this answer with the Book of Proverbs. The best ways to avoid being deceived by false conspiracy theories are these:
Search the scriptures. A soul filled with the Word of God and prayer will see evil coming. Proverbs 27:12 “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The simple pass on and are punished.”
Get the opinion of trusted sources. Proverbs 13: 20 “He who walks with wise men will be wise,
But the companion of fools will be destroyed.” God will give you a heart to listen to clear and certain voices and eschew the spurious. Are they after your money? Do they have an axe to grind? What is the end game of their world view?
Fact check: Proverbs 18: 17 “The first one to plead his cause seems right, Until his neighbor comes and examines him.” It will shock you how many, including Christians, make up stories. That is totally strange to me. I cannot write something until I check out the facts. Christians should not repeat a story, no matter how delicious until they verify.

      1. The best thing is to avoid watching the national news. Especially after 9 am in the morning. I watch my local news for an update on the community. Then watch regional news for traffic and weather. Maybe Fox and Friends for a bit. Morning news programming is more funny and uplifting. But after 9am everything is doom and gloom. Even Fox.

Same with Talk Radio. Rush will at least give some hope. But many conservative talk show hosts are filled with doom and gloom. I will read a local morning paper as well. But most of my news is from papers outside the US (UK, Germany, Asian Times).

  16. Movements rise from the people. Thus Black Lives Matter is being led by the mob. Likewise repentance does not come from the leaders. It is the individual believer who knees in prayer. Massive prayer then opens doors, spiritually, for G-D to move. A true movement is G-D led, not man.

We have an opportunity with these “Troubles” to see G-D move in ways that you have never seen. It will be the 1st century alive in the 21st century. Expect to see a spiritual revolution. Signs, miracles, wonders. People healed, raised from the dead. Mind blowing.

If you are not ready, spirit filed and praying then it will overwhelm you.

  17. Mario. you are so right on, just in time. Thank you for a much needed word. God Bless. Thank you thank you. Jim Letts

nothing of yours that is vital will be stolen. Your job and your business will be brought back
