DO YOU KNOW WHEN AND WHEN NOT TO SUBMIT TO GOVERNMENT?

Today we woke to the up to the sad truth that Democrats  have declared war. They are demanding unconditional surrender. No only from the church but from innocent citizens. Their war compels believers to look again at what the Bible says about evil laws and evil leaders.

Doesn’t the Bible tell us to obey them no matter what? Absolutely not. And it is shocking how many believers do not know their Bible or have been given false teaching. There is no verse in the Bible that tells you to obey evil government or laws.

If we don’t realize this now, we will sit back and let our nation be destroyed.

Christians during the American Revolution understood that the Bible does not teach us to obey evil laws or leaders. There would be no America if Christian Colonists believed they should obey the evil laws of England.

Let me prove to you beyond any doubt that the Bible tells us what we must do in the face of wicked government and laws.

First, I will expose a pathetic heresy that many believers commonly accept as truth. This is a widespread excuse for submitting when we should disobey.

Here is an example of someone who wrote me while under the influence of this false teaching:

“Out of curiosity, how do you justify your argument against obeying the government when you read Romans 13:1-7. The government Paul was talking about was even more oppressive than anything we can imagine. You could truly be martyred for your faith under the Roman government. And, what was Paul’s response? Did he call for governmental reform? Did he call for us to protest the government? Did he demand his rights and call on the government to recognize his rights? None of the above, he said, in the face of a brutal government, to obey. He didn’t say obey if your rights are recognized, he said obey. The church of today has to realize that the government is not our arena as Christians. Never, in the history of the church, has God used the government to bring about change.”

This man wrote me the definitive blurb on false submission. This defense of submission to evil government is riddled with error and falsehoods. Here are my responses to selected quotes:

1.You could truly be martyred for your faith under the Roman government.” First the writer tells us to obey evil laws, but then mentions martyrs. They never would have been martyred had they not broken the law by being Christians.

2. Then he asks, “Did (Paul) call for governmental reform? Did he call for us to protest the government? Did he demand his rights and call on the government to recognize his rights? None of the above…” The truth is, Paul did all of the above. “Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out” (Acts 16:37).

3. And finally, the zinger—the heresy that has sidelined the Body of Christ in the hour when we are most needed: “The church of today has to realize that the government is not our arena as Christians. Never, in the history of the church, has God used the government to bring about change.” Totally untrue. William Wilberforce was a Christian who used his faith in Jesus to abolish slavery in England. In fact, believers throughout history have created child labor laws, health regulations, and have exposed injustice, and corruption. It is safe to say that Christians are more responsible for influencing government, bringing about reform by forcing laws to be changed, and standing up for justice, than any other group in history.

So how did this writer get it so wrong? By doing what so many do. Isolating one set of verses, taking them out of context, and arriving at a conclusion that looks holy, but is in fact, pure and simple fear.

Let’s look at the verses that have been violated:

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore, you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor (Romans 13:1-7).

It seems to say that we are to honor government in every form, right? Wrong. To demonstrate what Paul is saying I offer this example. Say some parents leave the house, and leave the oldest child in charge. The child is given strict instructions not to open the door for anyone, except for a postal messenger whom they are expecting to deliver an important package that day.

The parents tell the child, “He will have blonde hair. He is wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. Don’t let anyone else in.” So later, a man with black hair, a blue shirt, and black slacks knocks on the door claiming to be the messenger with the package. Do they let him in? Of course not.

Lost in all the quoting of this verse on submission to government is the most important part: The description of the ruling authority. The Bible tells us what they are wearing! Look at the description:

1.They are not a terror to good works. Any government that terrorizes the innocent is not of God. How can you say that Hitler was God’s will for Germany? Hitler and other tyrants are in fact the ones being warned that there were God appointed governments who would destroy them: “But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.”  That is why the just powers of the world rose up and destroyed the Nazis.

2. They praise good works. Authorities that are endorsed by God do not hate or oppose Christian activity. They are the ones who—even if they are not Christian themselves—do not insult soul winning or fight the work of God. They are the cops, teachers, politicians who are glad that children are getting out of gangs and off of drugs.

3. You must be subject for the sake of conscience. When it becomes tricky, is when government is a mixture of right and wrong. Jesus said of the Pharisees, “Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, but do not do” (Matthew 23:3).

Do what they say, but don’t partake of their hypocrisy. Watch them for that moment when they cross the line and come between you and your God.  Just as our conscience should drive us to obey the law, we should also know when our conscience tells us not to obey an evil law.

Here’s when Peter reached that tipping point, speaking to those very same Pharisees: “So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:18-20).

And again, in Acts 5:29, “Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.””

God not only does not endorse evil government: He will have no part in it. “Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You—they who frame and hide their unrighteous doings under [the sacred name of] law?” (Psalm 94:20). There is your answer. A corrupt throne (government) cannot be allied with God. He cannot have fellowship with it.

When a government creates evil laws God cannot be allied it—because evil laws are the worst form of wickedness.

 They are damnable because they give legitimacy to evil.  Matthew Henry said, “Iniquity is daring enough even when human laws are against it, which often prove too weak to give an effectual check to it; but how insolent, how mischievous, is it when it is backed by a law! Iniquity is not the better, but much the worse, for being enacted by law; nor will it excuse those that practice it to say that they did but do as they were bidden.”

Notice how at the end, Henry says we can’t use the excuse that we were just obeying the law.  That is why Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

The laws being created by Democrats, using the coronavirus as an excuse, are far worse than the virus itself because, unlike the virus, those new laws become permanent.  It is time for the church to wake up and take action, beginning with voting the evildoers out of office and quit calling our submission a godly thing, when it is just a cowardly thing.

“WHO WILL RISE UP FOR ME AGAINST THE EVILDOERS? WHO WILL STAND UP FOR ME AGAINST THE WORKERS OF INIQUITY?” (Psalm 94:16).

HERE IS HOW THE REMNANT OF GOD SHOULD RELATE TO JOE BIDEN

How should we, as Christians, relate to Joe Biden? We will know how to relate to Biden when we answer these two questions:

A. What is Joe Biden?  B. What does the Bible say about relating to what he is?

1. What is Joe Biden? It sounds funny to ask what instead of who. However, it makes total sense. It is what Joe Biden is that is affecting us, more than who he is. It is what he is that is the force behind his actions. Coming to grips with these questions will bring us resolution, and then we will not feel guilty or hesitant to do what the Bible says.

Joe Biden is a tyrant. Here are the facts:

He wants to make it a criminal act to question his election. Joe Biden led the charge back in 2016 to question the validity of Trump’s election. He felt that he and all Trump-haters had the right to question that election, but now, no one has the right to question the validity of his election. Joe Biden is against free speech when it threatens him.

I believe Biden is working with the DOJ to identify anyone who still believes that Trump won, and not only identify them as homegrown terrorists—but to close down their businesses. As I wrote in a recent blog, Glenn Kirschner, a Biden operative has launched a campaign to force “every business in America” to take a pledge that states, in part, that “The 2020 presidential election was free and fair, and produced accurate, reliable results.https://mariomurilloministries.wordpress.com/2021/03/24/the-latest-tyranny/

If Joe Biden honestly believed he was elected legitimately—if he was an American who is truly looking out for you and me—he would demand a full investigation of the election and settle the doubts of the American people once and for all.

He would want every voter in the U.S. to have confidence in the election process. He certainly would not be using his office to smother anything that challenges his power. He certainly would not be fanning the flames of division and slander toward what is likely a majority of Americans.

Joe Biden has exhibited a depraved indifference toward the welfare of Americans.  By throwing open the door to the southern border and welcoming illegals, he has allowed undocumented aliens to bring in a variant strain of the coronavirus. Untold numbers of potentially sick people have been released into our communities. That is a simple fact.

Why is he locking down Americans on the one hand, while releasing new viruses on the other hand? The answer is a coldblooded need by the Left to hold on to power. The lives lost by a new wave of infections is not as important as repopulating America with fresh Democrat voters.

Joe Biden believes he, and not the Constitution guarantees our liberty.  He said this in his speech, “By July the 4th, there’s a good chance you, your families and friends, will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day,”  But Biden and his health experts have added some major caveats: that the gatherings would need to be small, and that there should be no “large events with lots of people together.” He is saying, that our freedom comes by his permission.

Jesus will provide us with the true example of how to behave at this dark moment in American history. Luke 13:31-32, “At that very hour some Pharisees came up and said to Him, ‘Go away from here, for Herod is determined to kill You.’ And He said to them, ‘Go and tell that fox [sly and crafty, skulking and cowardly], Behold, I drive out demons and perform healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I finish My course.’”

Jesus is saying what Herod is—a fox. Then he is saying I am not concerned about your threats. I will finish my course.

Albert Barnes said in his commentary, “Tell that fox—A fox is an emblem of slyness, of cunning, and of artful mischief. The word is also used to denote a dissembler. Herod was a wicked man, but the “particular thing” to which Jesus here alludes, is not his “vices,” but his “cunning, his artifice,” in endeavoring to remove (Jesus) out of his territory. (Herod) had endeavored to do it by stratagem – by sending these (Pharisees) who pretended great friendship for his life.

“”Behold, I cast out devils”—(Jesus is saying), Announce to him the fact that I am working miracles in his territory, and that I shall continue to do it. I am not afraid of his art or his enmity. I am engaged in my appropriate work, and shall continue to be, as long as is proper, in spite of his arts and his threats.”

How then should we as Christians relate to Biden?  Biden has ignored science to keep ungodly control over America and the Church. He has demonstrated that his actions are outside the law of man and God. We must relate to him as a rogue president, and we must therefore relate to God as our Leader at this moment.

We are not to be violent or riotous. We are not to engage in wild conspiracies or railing accusations. We are, however, to tell Biden we are going to be the Church. We are going to believe what the Bible says about sexual sin and gender. Biden cannot tell us to stop meeting, while at the same time allowing BLM, Antifa, and illegal aliens to overrun our nation.

We are going to continue the work of God, without interruption. No matter what.

WAS I WRONG TO ATTACK JOE BIDEN’S SPEECH?

Some well-regarded Christian leaders found good in Biden’s speech last night. It made me wonder if I had done the right thing by attacking it so vehemently. You may have wondered, too. So, let me explain some important things to you.

I have total respect for those leaders. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ—many of them are far more visible and influential than I am. Their attempt to find something good in what Biden said is commendable, but I must disagree with the idea that there was good in what Biden said. I only hope the family of God is mature enough to consider another opinion.

After the dust settled, and I had prayed, it became clear to me that I had written what God wanted me to write. If it seems rude and unloving to you, I am truly sorry, but I cannot take it back—not a single syllable.

Today’s evangelical titans need to discern the signs of the times. The most urgent thing any preacher worth his salt must do is fully embrace the reality of what has happened to America. Until you do that, your words will not bring revival or freedom. Unless you wake up to the evil that is even now spreading across this nation, you will not be granted the proper weapons from the Holy Spirit that are needed to push it back.

The words of these notable leaders are driven by a model from a bygone America. Gone are the days of civil discourse. Gone are the days when political parties on both sides had respect for Christianity. Gone are the days when our leaders feared running afoul of the Constitution. Gone are the days when we counted votes, and the votes we counted, mattered.

It should be crystal clear that we are dwelling in a society that has become nothing less than a cyber-armed camp. It should be painfully obvious that the people in power are not legislating truth or justice. They are legislating immorality, hatred and division.

With a blazing rhetorical question, the Bible tells us how God relates to the Democrat party: Psalm 94:20 says, “Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You?”

You will know what to do about Biden when you answer the simple questions from this verse:

-Are they a throne of iniquity?

-Are they devising evil by law?

-Will God have fellowship with them, if they do?

-If God will have nothing to do with them, should we?

Verse 21 reinforces for us what the agenda of the Democrat Party is: “They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.”

“You must trust the government.” The man who stood there speaking, as if he were actually the lawfully elected president, was an ominous and artificial voice. Joe Biden’s speech did not to dispel our fear about Democrat tyranny. It just confirmed it.

If you got nothing else from his speech, you should have picked up on the subtle wording about the vaccination he says “we are eligible” for.

But then he hinted strongly that we may all be forced to go under the needle. And it may be that, in order to buy, sell, fly or be educated, you will have to have been vaccinated.  Note what Biden said: “we’re mobilizing thousands of vaccinators to put the vaccine in one’s arm. Calling on active-duty military, FEMA, retired doctors and nurses, administrators, and those to administer the shots.”

While this may not be the Mark of the Beast, who can deny that it looks like a dress rehearsal?

So, the ultimate question is this: At what point does the church abandon the model of days of civil discourse and free speech. Those days were conducive to Billy Graham and Oral Roberts.

But these days in which we find ourselves are the days for other models—older models. I am talking about the Black Robe Regiment of the Revolutionary war. They were a regiment of preachers who rallied the Colonists to stand against the tyranny of England.

Closer to our day is the model of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who rallied Germany against Hitler. Or Watchman Nee who spoke out against Communist China.

Why am I so adamant in my writing? Because there is still hope to win back America’s freedom. But if we continue to placate and preach sermons better suited to bygone eras or act upon an outdated code of conduct, we will not get the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that we yearn for, that is promised, and that we desperately need. Because, God grant that it brings awakening and reformation―not just a flashy feeling, or else America will become the next Venezuela.

God’s promises are conditional. If His people will humble themselves. If they will pray and seek His face. If they will turn from their wicked ways. THEN He will hear, forgive and heal their land.

There is nothing in that promise about finding ‘good’ in the lies of the enemy.

But before you can ask God to heal the land, admit what the sickness is He needs to heal.

“Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—a throne that brings on misery by its decrees? The wicked band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death” (Psalm 94:20). There is your answer. A corrupt throne (government) cannot be allied with God.

The Amplified Bible (1974) puts it this way: “Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, one which frames and devises mischief by decree [under the sacred name of law]?”  How much clearer can it be than this?  It proves that laws can be evil and cannot be allied with God.

In fact, evil laws are the worst form of sin. They provide legitimacy to evil.

HOW THE MOST JUDGMENTAL PEOPLE TELL CHRISTIANS NOT TO JUDGE

What is the most dangerous lie in America?  What is killing us?  The abuse of a simple phrase that Jesus used, “Judge not that you be not judged.”

 A while back, our website was smeared with vile posts from people claiming to be open-minded and, amazingly claiming to be more intelligent.  What was even more tragic was the host of self-defined Christians who went along with them saying such silly things as, “we shouldn’t judge,” and my personal favorite, “you are making it harder for us to reach people.”

I am not making it harder for you to reach people, because I would be surprised if you are even trying to reach anyone.  If we are not supposed to judge, how could we witness?  At some point in witnessing, you have to make a moral judgment.

Northern California is ground zero for liberalism.  They are constantly telling people not to judge.  The extent of their ludicrous hypocrisy is breathtaking.  Bay Area liberals are the most judgmental people on the planet.  I have lived under their environmental, nutritional, gender, and Sharia law most of my adult life.

 Last December in Danville California I said, “Merry Christmas,” to my waiter.  He scowled at me and said, “I do not want to exclude anyone.” Talk about a hair trigger!  Everything on earth is a ‘cause’ for liberals.  How do they sleep at night with so much judging to do???  They judge, food, animal treatment, gardening, the car you drive, even your fireplace.  To them, it is a world that is filled with “ists.”    Sexists, elitists, capitalists, fascists, racists, and now because of animal rights there are “Specists” (people who rate animal species as being either higher or lower than humans.)

Christians we better wake up!  Don’t take Jesus out of context just so you can hide in a deeply immoral nation.   Now read these excerpts from BRANNON HOWSE:

“Tolerance mongers seem to have found the one absolute truth they are willing to live by. How many times have you heard someone say, “Judge not lest you be judged”? The statement has become the great American open-mindedness mantra when anyone has the courage to declare that someone else’s belief, actions or lifestyle is morally amiss.”

What Jesus was not saying that we are never to exercise discernment, but, that we are not to condemn, punish, write off others, nor should we seek to be avenged.

“Another form of the same non-judgmental judgment is “that may be true for you, but it’s not true for me.” The logic behind the statement goes something like this: “Your truth is your truth and my truth is my truth. We are both right, and I hold to my opinion of truth.” The last time I checked, it was impossible for two chairs to occupy the same space around my dining room table, but evidently such rules of time, space and logic don’t apply to tolerance philosophy.”

“Postmodernism’s live-and-let-live concept of truth argues that even two opposite and wholly contradictory claims can both be true. This is as stupid as saying that black and white are the same color. Yet, it clarifies the absurdity of the postmodernism we are all supposed to blithely accept as the fundamental principle by which we respond to each other’s ideas – the “please and thank-you” of philosophical respect.”

So, beware.  If you dare claim that another person’s truth is not, in fact, truth but is, in fact, wrong, you are not only being intolerant but you are also being – Mantra forbid! – Judgmental.

In his book “True for You, But Not for Me,” Paul Copan describes the fallacy in this all too common thinking:

It has been said that the most frequently quoted Bible verse is no longer John 3:16, but Matthew 7:1: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” We cannot glibly quote this, though, without understanding what Jesus meant. When Jesus condemned judging, he wasn’t at all implying we should never make judgments about anyone. After all, a few verses later, Jesus himself calls certain people “pigs” and “dogs” (Matt 7:6) and “wolves in sheep’s clothing” (7:15).

 What Jesus condemns is a critical and judgmental spirit, an unholy sense of superiority.

Jesus commanded us to examine ourselves first for the problems we so easily see in others. Only then can we help remove the speck in another’s eye – which, incidentally, is a judgment call that assumes that a problem exists and must be confronted.

Those that tell you not to judge, quoting Matthew 7:1 grossly out of context, are often some of the most mean-spirited, judgmental souls you could ever meet. It’s not, of course, that they don’t want anyone to judge anything, because they want very much to judge and condemn your commitment to lovingly speak and practice your Christian worldview. You see how these tolerance rules work? We must tolerate them, but they don’t have to tolerate us. The logic is consistent, anyway.

 Today’s postmodern culture of adults and students is so consumed by non-judgmentalism that there are some who say we should not even call the terrorists that attacked America on Sept. 11, 2001 ‘wrong’ or ‘evil’. In a Time Magazine essay entitled, “God Is Not on My Side. Or Yours,” Roger Rosenblatt offers the philosophical underpinnings of the live-and-let-live rule for global terrorism:

“One would like to think that God is on our side against the terrorists, because the terrorists are wrong and we are in the right, and any deity worth his salt would be able to discern that objective truth. But this is simply good-hearted arrogance cloaked in morality – the same kind of thinking that makes people decide that God created humans in his own image. The God Who is worth worshiping is the one who pays us the compliment of self-regulation, and we might return it by minding our own business.”

Right and wrong is “good-hearted,” even if the reactions to it aren’t. Alison Hornstein, for instance, is a student at Yale University who observed the disconnect between tolerance and reality. Writing on “The Question That We Should Be Asking – Is Terrorism Wrong?” in the Dec. 17, 2001, issue of Newsweek, Alison noted, “My generation may be culturally sensitive, but we hesitate to make moral judgments.” While that might be putting it mildly, she goes on to say:

 “Student reactions expressed in the daily newspaper and in class pointed to the differences between our life circumstances and those of the [9-11] perpetrators, suggesting that these differences had caused the previous day’s events. Noticeably absent, was a general outcry of indignation at what had been the most successful terrorist attack of our lifetime. These reactions and similar ones on other campuses have made it apparent that my generation is uncomfortable assessing, or even asking whether a moral wrong has taken place.”

Hornstein further describes how on Sept. 12th – one day after Islamic extremists murdered more than 3,000 people on American soil – one of her professors “did not see much difference between Hamas suicide bombers and American soldiers who died fighting in World War II. When I saw one or two students nodding in agreement, I raised my hand (in order to point out that) American soldiers, in uniform, did not have a policy of specifically targeting civilians; suicide bombers, who wear plainclothes, do. The professor didn’t call on me. The people who did get a chance to speak cited various provocations for terrorism; not one of them questioned its morality.”

 If Americans don’t start to judge and punish evil instead of accepting all ideas and beliefs as equal, we will become a nation that welcomes same-sex marriage, polygamy, pedophilia, incest, euthanasia and likely a host of moral aberrations so bizarre they’re still hidden in the darkest reaches of the Internet.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say, “you know we are not to judge people; even the Bible says ‘judge not lest you be judged.’” Americans had better start getting comfortable with politically incorrect, non-humanistic forms of making intelligent judgments on moral issues, because even if we don’t make them, I’m concerned there is Someone very willing to hold our nation accountable for what we allow. And He doesn’t respond well to intimidation, name-calling, flawed logic or being quoted out of context.

WE MUST SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD OUR PEACE

This is the clearest warning God has ever given me. God is emphatically telling the American Church, “Speak now, or forever hold your peace.” Whatever we are going to say, whatever we are going to do, whatever action we are going to take to protect our rights as Christians and Americans, we must do now.

Doubt my words at your own peril. Churches are about be closed forever. People of faith will soon be marginalized, both socially and economically.  What we are talking about here is nothing short of your children’s and your grandchildren’s future. They will live in a world where they will be targeted for the faith you have given them. And the worst part is: you will not be here to protect them when they endure the worst of it.

Listen closely—the threat I am describing is not years away, it is not even months away, it is days away. Yes, absolutely, we are days away from the new excuse the Democrats are preparing to use to wipe out both the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution.

Here is what has happened to justify the urgency of my writing. Satan has been working on this masterstroke of tyranny for years. The tapestry of lies he has woven is the greatest manipulation of truth in all of history. It transforms light into darkness, and darkness into light. It changes hatred into love, and love into hatred. It makes racism equality and equality racism.  They have left few, if any, words that carry their original meanings.

The web of evil that has fallen over all of America is clearly described in Isaiah 59:4-8:

“No one calls for justice,
Nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies;
They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.
They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web;
He who eats of their eggs dies,
And from that which is crushed, a viper breaks out.

Their webs will not become garments,
Nor will they cover themselves with their works;
Their works are works of iniquity,
And the act of violence is in their hands.
Their feet run to evil,
And they make haste to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
Wasting and destruction are in their paths.
The way of peace they have not known,
And there is no justice in their ways;
They have made themselves crooked paths;
Whoever takes that way shall not know peace.”

That passage describes exactly what is happening, from our lowest back alleys, to our highest offices of power.

And the following verses (14-15) tell us what is coming next.

“Justice is turned back,
And righteousness stands afar off;
For truth is fallen in the street,
And equity cannot enter.
So truth fails,
And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.”

The moment when you will make yourself a prey for Marxist wolves, is even now at the door.

I am sick to death with those who refuse to call the church to action. Let me put it plainly. You have two choices: either vote for Trump, or make a plan to move your family to safety. I am also sick of those pastors who refuse to come to this obvious conclusion.

When you hear them screaming, “Mario Murillo is an extremist!” remember that we got to this point of desperation because of the lukewarm voices who refused to admit the approach of danger.

-Remember when California told us not to use our Bibles? Pastors did not galvanize a resistance to stop it.

-Remember when marriage was destroyed? Again, there was no national firewall of righteous leaders to intervene.

-Then they told us to close our churches, even as they condoned mass protests that led to violence and helped spread the virus. Again, there was no unanimous action from American church leaders.

-Then they told us that we cannot sing. This was a test balloon to see how fast they can force the church underground.

So, what is next? Will they extend the church-gathering-ban indefinitely? Will they move on to dictating not only when we can meet, when we can sing, but will they also dictate what we can say? Will we finally find ourselves ordered to read a script that will be, in effect, a repudiation of our faith in Christ?

Remember, we are here because of an incurably wrong-headed sense of political correctness. Well, my brothers and sisters, that season is over. The gloves must come off. The righteous must rise up with a single roar—a noise that is unified and unending must rise from the church.

For years we have been told to just sit back and let it happen. We were told that it was ‘all in God’s hands,’ even as we ignored God’s Words. God has chosen to honor prayer. God rewards those who seek to stand in the gap against national evil. Borrowing one last verse from Isaiah, which tells us our great predicament: “Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor…” (Isaiah 59:15,16). God is shocked, and rightly so, that the American church is still wandering, wavering and weakening in the face of an invading enemy.

And yet, there is great hope because God’s army is rising and its numbers are growing at this very hour. Notable Christian leaders are no longer worried about protecting their reputations, but are taking up a new anointing—a nation-saving anointing!

With every atom of my being, I am exhorting you to take action. To those who have no stomach for war, and are oblivious of the fact that we are already at war, please spare me your empty excuses.

The American church must rise up now. We are about to be bound and gagged by a rogue government. Whatever confidence you have in my ministry—whatever level of trust I have earned—must now be put on the line.

Join us in this great struggle! Join a cause so noble and right that it is beyond belief that every Christian in America is not involved. This is the hour. You will never pass this way again.

Speak now, church, or forever hold your peace!

THE BIBLE DOES NOT TELL YOU TO OBEY EVIL LAWS

It’s time  to wake up to the sad truth that Democrat Mayors and Governors have declared war. No only on the church but on innocent citizens. This war compels believers to look again at what the Bible says about evil laws and evil leaders.

Democrats, after using the “Pandemic” as an excuse to illegally lockdown the church, have graduated to condoning riots, looting, and now murder in the name of racial justice. At first, I thought they were testing to see how the public reacts. This no longer explains it. Biden’s poll numbers are dropping because Democrat leaders refuse to take action against the domestic terrorism of Black Lives Matter and Antifa. What we have now is a simple case of stubborn madness.

Doesn’t the Bible tell us to obey them no matter what? Absolutely not. And it is shocking how many believers do not know their Bible or have been given false teaching.There is no verse in the Bible that tells you to obey evil government or laws. And again, if we don’t realize that now, before we sit back and let our nation be destroyed.

God not only does not endorse evil government: He will have no part in it. “Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—a throne that brings on misery by its decrees? The wicked band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death” (Psalm 94:20). There is your answer. A corrupt throne (government) cannot be allied with God.

“WHO WILL RISE UP FOR ME AGAINST THE EVILDOERS? WHO WILL STAND UP FOR ME AGAINST THE WORKERS OF INIQUITY?” (Psalm 94:16).

NO. THE BIBLE DOES NOT TELL YOU TO OBEY EVIL LAWS

There would be no America if Christian Colonists believed they should obey the evil laws of England. Similarly, California Governor Gavin Newsom has ordered churches not to sing and worship. I can’t think of a worse idea than to stop praise and worship because Gavin Newsom, or any other Governor told you to. It’s time  to wake up to the sad truth that Democrat Governors have declared war on the church. They were aggressively oppressing Christians long before Covid 19.

This latest travesty is just using the Pandemic as an excuse. This is just a test to see how the public reacts to Christian persecution. If we do not vehemently reject this tyranny, it will embolden Democrat leaders in other states to do the same thing. It is time to resist.

Doesn’t the Bible tell us to obey them no matter what? Absolutely not. And it is shocking how many believers do not know their Bible or have been given false teaching.

There is no verse in the Bible that tells you to obey evil government or laws. And again, if we don’t realize that now, it will soon be too late.

P.S. A Special message to all of our friends from Mario Murillo Ministries

Why do we offer you books? It is certainly not to blunt the impact of the message you just read. In fact, these books reinforce the message we are trying to spread. More on that in a moment.  So, why do we offer them to you?
When the pandemic closed our tent crusades, church meetings and rallies, the Holy Spirit commanded Mario to keep our staff on at full salary, and trust Him. He obeyed and God has provided. But another thing the Holy Spirit grants are wise ideas. And we needed one. That is when the War Chest Collection was born.
If you look at the page you will see no advertising. And there never will be. And if you get our newsletter you will see that we have stopped raising money for projects we can’t do right now. But even that was not good enough for us.
In this pandemic we needed something that was truly a win-win situation. We prayed for something that would help the people, and us, that was not a garish fund raiser.
Then, we remembered how John Wesley taught his young preachers to always bring books with them that would help the people. Why not then, at a time when people have time to read, offer them something that will empower them and at the same time keep us strong and ready to go as soon as the door reopens?
We are amazed at the impact of Vessels of Fire and Glory. That book is not just blessing people—it has started a movement! Critical Mass remains required reading in many Christian schools and has never stopped influencing people who pray for revival. Edgewise offers wisdom for living in the last days. Together they provide you with solid, hard-hitting and encouraging truth. Not a bad thing just now.
The War Chest Collection has handed the enemy a double defeat by empowering God’s people and keeping us strong and ready.
Thank you for listening and get your War Chest Collection today. Turn your summer read into equipping, encouragement, and fire! We are all going to come out of this mightier than ever!   -Mario Murillo Ministries

YOU MUST SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE

They trust in empty words and speak lies;
They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.
They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web;
He who eats of their eggs dies,
And from that which is crushed, a viper breaks out.

Their webs will not become garments,
Nor will they cover themselves with their works;
Their works are works of iniquity,
And the act of violence is in their hands.
Their feet run to evil,
And they make haste to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
Wasting and destruction are in their paths.
The way of peace they have not known,
And there is no justice in their ways;
They have made themselves crooked paths;
Whoever takes that way shall not know peace.”

That passage describes exactly what is happening, from our lowest back alleys, to our highest offices of power.

And the following verses (14-15) tell us what is coming next.

“Justice is turned back,
And righteousness stands afar off;
For truth is fallen in the street,
And equity cannot enter.
