My open letter to Donald Trump and American Christians

By Mario Murillo

Since I met Christ 51 years ago, I have wondered if the day would come when I would be called upon to sacrifice everything—including my life—for my faith.  I believe that day is here.  I am risking everything in this letter.

This letter is not to believers who sat this election out or set aside their Bible and voted for open borders, a left-wing Supreme Court and late term abortion.  I am writing to Christians who are voting for Donald Trump and I am writing to Mr. Trump himself.

There is no version of Hillary Clinton that does not spell doom for America.  Most Americans agree.  They loathe the idea of a president Hillary Clinton.

This is one reason for the massive, excited crowds at your rallies, Mr. Trump.

We should be preparing for a Trump landslide.  However, the system is rigged.  How can you doubt that after the tsunami of corruption and collusion you have witnessed in this election?  The decision by the FBI not to indict Clinton is a death knell to freedom.  It sets the stage for tyranny.

I have a flicker of faith in the system.  My hope, my expectation, is that tomorrow we will finally be able to drain the swamp.

donald-trump

But what if she wins?  What do we do then?  We do not wait till then…we must do something today.  We need to learn a powerful truth from a story in the Bible.

I am certain you are familiar with the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace.   The Bible says, “Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good!  But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.  If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.  But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” – Daniel 3:15-17.

Here are the most explosive words in this story: Our God can save us but if He does not—no matter what—we will still not worship the idol.

NO MATTER WHAT!  Those words must dominate our heart today.  They did not say, “If God saves us we will serve Him.”  They said “no matter what.”

That confession is in my soul today.  I know that under Clinton there will be open persecution of preachers who opposed her.  I am ready, she knows where to find me.  Come and get me but I will not back down…no matter what!

I want you to be ready!  I want you to say NO MATTER WHAT!

-No matter what—the battle against abortion continues.

-No matter what—we will preach the Gospel.

-No matter what—we will press the case against corruption directly to the American people.

-No matter what—we will vote!

-We will keep going!  We will haunt Congress.  We will press the FBI and the Department of Justice.  We will expose the corrupt media.  We will continue to fan the flames of freedom in America.

We refuse to feel a let-down.  God will find a way to use us, no matter what!

Mr. Trump, God touched your heart to make America Great Again.  You didn’t need this misery.  At some point, the Spirit of God made the fleeting pleasures of this world unimportant to you.  People began to matter to you like they have never mattered before.  You received faith to run for president.

Now I am imploring you to embrace a fiery-furnace loyalty.  No matter what, this movement will go on.  Even if the corrupt system delays victory—keep going.  You have built a support base of tens of millions of people.

What would the movement look like if you lose the election?  That is a question only God and you can answer.  However, you have always been an innovator.  Between you and the creative power of God, I have no doubt something amazing will emerge.

To everyone I say this: Evil must feel your fiery-furnace loyalty to God.  It is not that God will not give us victory tomorrow…after all, He did save the three boys.  It is just that our hearts need a miracle today on the eve of this election.

We need to refuse depression, anxiety and fear.  We need to look at tomorrow with fire in our eyes—a fire that roars, “We will keep fighting…NO MATTER WHAT!”

TRUMP’S VISION FOR AMERICA

By Peggy Noonan

Trump believes that America should not intervene militarily in other country’s problems without being compensated for doing so. If America is going to risk the lives of our soldiers and incur the expense of going to war, then the nations we help must be willing to pay for our help. Using the Iraq War as an example, he cites the huge monetary expense to American taxpayers (over $1. 5 trillion, and possibly much more depending on what sources are used to determine the cost) in addition to the cost in human life. He suggests that Iraq should have been required to give us enough of their oil to pay for the expenses we incurred. He includes in those expenses the medical costs for our military and $5 million for each family that lost a loved one in the war and $2 million for each family of soldiers who received severe injuries.

Trump wants America to have a strong military again. He believes the single most important function of the federal government is national defense. He has said he wants to find the General Patton or General MacArthur who could lead our military buildup back to the strength it needs to be. While he hasn’t said it directly that I know of, Trump’s attitude about America and about winning tells me he’d most likely be quick to eliminate rules of engagement that handicap our military in battle. Clearly Trump is a “win at all costs” kind of guy, and I’m sure that would apply to our national defense and security, too.

Trump wants a strong foreign policy and believes that it must include 7 core principles: A) American interests come first. Always. No apologies. 😎 Maximum firepower and military preparedness. C) Only go to war to win. D) Stay loyal to your friends and suspicious of your enemies. E) Keep the technological sword razor sharp. F) See the unseen Prepare for threats before they materialize. G) Respect and support our present and past warriors.

Trump believes that terrorists who are captured should be treated as military combatants, not as criminals like the Obama administration treats them.

Trump makes the point that China ‘s manipulation of their currency has given them unfair advantage in our trade dealings with them. He says we must tax their imports to offset their currency manipulation, which will cause American companies to be competitive again and drive manufacturing back to America and create jobs here. Although he sees China as the biggest offender, he believes that America should protect itself from all foreign efforts to take our jobs and manufacturing. For example, Ford is building a plant in Mexico and Trump suggests that every part or vehicle Ford makes in Mexico be taxed 35% if they want to bring it into the U.S., which would cause companies like Ford to no longer be competitive using their Mexican operations and move manufacturing back to the U. S. , once again creating jobs here.

Trump wants passage of NOPEC legislation (No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act – NOPEC – S. 394), which would allow the government to sue OPEC for violating antitrust laws. According to Trump, that would break up the cartel. He also wants to unleash our energy companies to drill domestically (sound like Sarah Palin’s drill baby, drill?) thereby increasing domestic production creating jobs and driving domestic costs of oil and gas down while reducing dependence on foreign oil.

Trump believes a secure border is critical for both security and prosperity in America . He wants to build a wall to stop illegals from entering and put controls on immigration. (And he says he’ll get Mexico to pay for the wall, which many have scoffed at, but given his business successes I wouldn’t put it past him.) He also wants to enforce our immigration laws and provide no path to citizenship for those who are here illegally.

Trump wants a radical change to the tax system to not only make it better for average Americans, but also to encourage businesses to stay here and foreign businesses to move here. The resulting influx of money to our nation would do wonders for our economy. He wants to make America the place to do business. He also wants to lower the death tax and the taxes on capital gains and dividends. This would put more than $1. 6 trillion back into the economy and help rebuild the 1. 5 million jobs we’ve lost to the current tax system. He also wants to charge companies who outsource jobs overseas a 20% tax, but for those willing to move jobs back to America they would not be taxed. And for citizens he has a tax plan that would allow Americans to keep more of what they earn and spark economic growth. He wants to change the personal income tax to: Up to $30,000 taxed at 1%. From $30,000 to $100,000 taxed at 5%. >From $100,000 to $1,000,000 taxed at 10%. $1,000,000 and above taxed at 15%.

Trump wants Obamacare repealed. He says it’s a “job-killing, health care-destroying monstrosity” that “can’t be reformed, salvaged, or fixed”. He believes in allowing real competition in the health insurance marketplace to allow competition to drive prices down. He also believes in tort reform to get rid of defensive medicine and lower costs.

Trump wants spending reforms in Washington, acknowledging that America spends far more than it receives in revenue. He has said he believes that if we don’t stop increasing the national debt once it hits $24 trillion it will be impossible to save this country.

Even though he says we need to cut spending, he does not want to harm those on Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security. He believes that the citizens have faithfully paid in to the system to have these services available and that the American government has an obligation to fulfill its end of the bargain and provide those benefits. Therefore, he wants to build the economy up so that we have the revenue to pay those costs without cutting the benefits to the recipients. He disagrees with Democrats who think raising taxes is the answer and says that when you do that you stifle the economy. On the other hand, when you lower taxes and create an environment to help businesses they will grow, hire more workers, and those new workers will be paying taxes that become more tax revenue for the government.

Trump also wants reform of the welfare state saying that America needs “a safety net, not a hammock. “ He believes in a welfare to work program that would help reduce the welfare rolls and encourage people to get back to work. And he wants a crackdown on entitlement fraud.

Trump believes climate change is a hoax.

Trump opposes Common Core.

Trump is pro-life, although he allows for an exception due to rape, incest, or the life of the mother.

Trump is pro 2nd Amendment rights.

Trump’s view on same-sex marriage is that marriage is between a man and a woman, but he also believes that this is a state’s rights issue, not a federal issue.

Trump supports the death penalty.

Trump believes that there is a lack of common sense, innovative thinking in Washington (Hmmm. . . looks like he believes in horse sense! ). He says it’s about seeing the unseen and that’s the kind of thinking we need to turn this country around. He tells a personal story to illustrate the point: “When I opened Trump National Golf Club at Rancho Palos Verdes in Los Angeles , I was immediately told that I would need to build a new and costly ballroom. The current ballroom was gorgeous, but it only sat 200 people and we were losing business because people needed a larger space for their events. Building a new ballroom would take years to get approval and permits (since it’s on the Pacific Ocean ), and cost about $5 million. I took one look at the ballroom and saw immediately what needed to be done. The problem wasn’t the size of the room, it was the size of the chairs. They were huge, heavy, and unwieldy. We didn’t need a bigger ballroom, we needed smaller chairs! So I had them replaced with high-end, smaller chairs. I then had our people sell the old chairs and got more money for them than the cost of the new chairs. In the end, the ballroom went from seating 200 people to seating 320 people. Our visitors got the space they desired, and I spared everyone the hassle of years of construction and $5 million of expense. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a little common sense. On top of his saving years of construction and $5 million in expenses, he also was able to keep the ballroom open for business during the time it would have been under remodeling, which allowed him to continue to make money on the space instead of losing that revenue during construction time.

Donald Trump’s entire life has been made up of success and winning. He’s been accused of bankruptcies, but that’s not true. He’s never filed personal bankruptcy. He’s bought companies and legally used bankruptcy laws to restructure their debt, just as businesses do all the time. But he’s never been bankrupt personally.

He’s a fighter that clearly loves America and would fight for our nation. Earlier I quoted Trump saying, “I love America . And when you love something, you protect it passionately – fiercely, even.”

John Voight’s plea to save America

plea

Hollywood conservative and staunch Donald Trump supporter Jon Voight released a video “Plea to Save America” on Thursday, urging Americans to vote for the Republican candidate in next month’s election, which the actor called the “most important in American history.”
The actor, who recently sparred with Democratic contributor and Hillary Clinton supporter Robert De Niro over the latter’s disdain for Trump, appealed to Americans to vote for the only candidate who can “save our America.”

The full transcript of Voight’s remarks are below:

My dear fellow Americans.

We are all feeling tremendous anxiety with only a few weeks left to the election. This will be the most important election in American history.

We were once a country of freedom, and now we’re becoming a country of tyranny.

We are witness to our own people burning down and looting our cities. Ferguson, Missouri, Milwaukee, Orlando, Florida, Baltimore. We are all witness to our own people killing our policemen. Islamic terrorists have killed thousands of people all over our country, and Hillary and Obama want to be politically correct and pretend all the killings are not happening.

How many Americans are aware of George Soros? An evil man, who turned hundreds of Jewish people over the Nazis to be exterminated during World War II. He was interviewed on 60 Minutes, and was asked does he feel guilty for what he has done. And arrogantly, he said ‘Absolutely not. If I didn’t do it, someone else would have.’

Soros is a billionaire, who made most of his money manipulating currencies and almost bankrupting many countries. He supports hate groups, who are responsible for taking down our cities. And he is a close friend of Hillary Clinton, and a major supporter of her campaign.

Robert De Niro is a millionaire, as are so many of our Hollywood stars who are voting for Hillary, and who have absolutely no tolerance for anyone with a different opinion, forgetting that that is what our country is founded on: freedom of choice. But they will not be affected by Hillary’s open borders. Only our poor and middle class will suffer.

Thousands of refugees will flood our nation, and no one will know the good guys from the bad guys. It will kill our economy, which is at an all-time low now under the years of Obama’s presidency. And Hillary boasts of how proud she will be to continue Obama’s legacy.

No one can afford health insurance now. Prices for healthcare have gone through the roof thanks to Obamacare. Our once reasonable healthcare is gone.

With Hillary as President, we will lose our Second Amendment right to bear arms. Freedom of religion will be attacked, and Hillary will try to stop all conservative voices on TV and radio. Our highest court will become Socialist, and she will restrict what America was founded on, our freedom to become a small business owner and pursue our own personal dreams.

She has blood on her hands from the Benghazi terrorist raid. Four of our American patriots died, and when the parents stood over their loved ones’ coffins, she lied to them about the cause of their sons’ deaths.

The pendulum of freedom is not balanced. Hillary and her followers are on a crude campaign to stop and degrade all of Trump’s followers. Her words were echoed loud and clear for all Americans to hear. Hillary said Trump’s followers are a basket of deplorables. They are un-redeemable.

May God protect the real truth, and may Donald Trump win this presidency. He will save our America, and he will certainly make it great again.

Mario Murillo is coming to Reno for one night only

one-night

Mario Murillo comes to the Reno/Sparks area for one miracle rally on Sunday Night September 11th at 6 PM.  Mario Murillo has demonstrated the power of Jesus—to heal sickness, break addiction, and remove the cares of life—all over the world.

Why is Mario coming on 911?  The damage of that day in New York still hangs like a cloud.   Our dark times have taken a toll on people.  Many have emotionally hit bottom.  They labor and find no rest.  They are asking questions that atheism and modern thought trends cannot answer.  They are hungry for peace.

Mario deliberately calls his rallies LIVING PROOF because this is what he believes God gives people—living proof of His existence—living proof of His love—and living proof that He raised His Son Jesus from the dead.

Perhaps the attraction to Burning Man is to escape the world created by 911.  Many found out the cure is not lasting—it went up in flames with the exhibits and the man himself.  The promise of Jesus does not go away…it is eternal.

The promise of this one night is too great to put into a few words…you must experience a Living Proof Rally for yourself.  This night is a gift you do not turn down.  This night can turn a lifetime of pain into a miracle.  Bring someone you love.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

WHY?

WHY?

By Mario Murillo

Today we woke up to horror.  We hold our children closer.  Our minds and hearts race. So many things that seemed important yesterday are far from our mind now.  We want to know why.  We want to know why people do these things…things that escape our ability to describe.

Why?  Because the order for these massacres was given for the last two years ago.

ISIS militants have been urging supporters to run westerners over with vehicles since 2014, when Abu Mohammed al Adnani, a spokesman for the Islamic State, urged the group’s supporters to kill “disbelieving American or European – especially the spiteful and filthy French – or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way, however it may be,” he said in 2014. “Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him.”

Why? Because Western leaders behave like children pulling the covers over their head for fear of the monster in the closet.  They do not want to be seen as “Islamophobic or racist.”  They don’t want to admit that global radical Islam has put a Trojan horse in every nation that has accepted unvetted refugees.

Why? Because an American President’s empathy toward Islam trumps the welfare of the American people.

Why?  Because the civilized world has yet to admit that World War Three is at the door if we do not unify.

One of the most moving scenes in the film MRS. MINIVER is its finale– the speech made by the vicar (Henry Wilcoxon) to the local community assembled in their war -ravaged church, the walls held up by braces and the summer sky clearly visible through the rafters overhead. This scene had such an impact on American president Franklin D. Roosevelt, that at his request the text was broadcast over the Voice of America in Europe and was printed on millions of leaflets dropped over German-occupied territory. The Wilcoxon speech is frequently cited in books about Hollywood’s World War II films as exemplary of the kind of filmmaking that helped mobilize the United States to war in defense of its English allies.

Here is the text of that speech:

“We, in this quiet corner of England, have suffered the loss of friends very dear to us– some close to this church: George West, choir boy; James Bellard, station master and bell ringer and a proud winner, only one hour before his death, of the Belding Cup for his beautiful Miniver rose; and our hearts go out in sympathy to the two families who share the cruel loss of a young girl who was married at this altar only two weeks ago.

The homes of many of us have been destroyed, and the lives of young and old have been taken. There is scarcely a household that hasn’t been struck to the heart.

And why? Surely you must have asked yourself this question. Why in all conscience should these be the ones to suffer? Children, old people, a young girl at the height of her loveliness. Why these? Are these our soldiers? Are these our fighters? Why should they be sacrificed?

I shall tell you why.

Because this is not only a war of soldiers in uniform. It is a war of the people, of all the people, and it must be fought not only on the battlefield, but in the cities and in the villages, in the factories and on the farms, in the home, and in the heart of every man, woman, and child who loves freedom!

Well, we have buried our dead, but we shall not forget them. Instead they will inspire us with an unbreakable determination to free ourselves and those who come after us from the tyranny and terror that threaten to strike us down.  This is the people’s war! It is our war! We are the fighters! Fight it then! Fight it with all that is in us, and may God defend the right.”   AMEN.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

blog what are you waiting for

What are you waiting for?

By Mario Murillo

The world is falling apart—why doesn’t God do something?  We hear that a lot.  But what if—in this dark and evil time—God is doing a lot more than we could imagine?  What if He has planted miracles all over the world?  What if solutions, strategies, inventions and talent are trapped inside of people because they are waiting?

Zacharias, John the Baptist’s dad yearned for the Messiah to come.  Yet, when the miracle arrived—he choked.   The Bible says, “And Zacharias said to the angel, ‘How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.’ And the angel answered and said to him, ‘I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.”-Luke 1:18-20.

He was waiting for the consolation of Israel but when it came—he wanted to keep waiting!  Gabriel took away Zacharias’ voice to jolt him into action.  I want to jolt you into action! Almost every hero in the Old Testament began by believing they were the wrong person, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So now, I am asking you “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?”  Let’s kill the excuses that trap miracles inside of us.  Let your soul be overtaken by these three convictions:

1.You—not someone else! 1 Samuel 14: 6 says, “Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will work for us. For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.”

you

Jonathan had every right to cave into self-pity.  His father—King Saul, was a runaway train that had driven Israel into unavoidable disaster.  One million Philistines are marching toward them with murder in their eyes.  Jonathan’s world was at an end.

Something supernatural grew in his heart: a confidence that betrayed his circumstances…a boldness that could not be explained.  He knew that he was the man to do the job from the simple fact that there was no one else available.

It’s you—not someone else!  Do you believe you can’t do it?  Good!  Henry T. Blackaby said, “Will God ever ask you to do something you are not able to do? The answer is yes–all the time! It must be that way, for God’s glory and kingdom. If we function according to our ability alone, we get the glory; if we function according to the power of the Spirit within us, God gets the glory. He wants to reveal Himself to a watching world.”

Take inventory of yourself.  When you do, the news may not be encouraging.  Maybe you are sickly, old, poor, uneducated and alone.  Maybe you have failed and bear a stain on your reputation.  Are you done with your list?  Good, now burn it!  Offer up all of these limitations as a flaming sacrifice to the one who does not call the qualified but qualifies the called.

God puts His spirit on broken people who dwell in the obscurity of despised circumstances.  He raises vessels out of the dust of despair.   1 Samuel 10: 6, 7 says, “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.”  It’s you—not someone else.

Check out Mario’s video talking about WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR:

2. Here—not somewhere else! Now, more than ever, Americans feel trapped in dead jobs, bad neighborhoods, and abusive relationships. Millions live wishing they were someplace else.

Breathes there a young person who has not lamented that if only they could “get away from my parents I could do something great.”   Hasn’t every pastor fantasized how in another church their unsung greatness would blossom?

Are there times we are to relocate?  Yes, but here is a common factor:  You are stay where you want to leave and you end up leaving where you want to stay…but I digress.

Elijah was a mighty prophet.  King Ahab was a hen-pecked scoundrel.  At no time were their opposite natures clearer than in their reaction to drought.  Elijah was on his way to pray for rain.  Ahab was looking for grass.  One saw hope in God.  The other put their trust in a place.   1 Kings 18: 5 “And Ahab had said to Obadiah, ‘Go into the land to all the springs of water and to all the brooks; perhaps we may find grass to keep the horses and mules alive, so that we will not have to kill any livestock.”

You are either looking for grass or you are praying for rain.  You are looking for grass when you race to a city that is having great meetings because you cannot believe for revival right where you are.  You are looking for grass when you scout out the land for a hook up or a connection or the better deal.  You have given up on God’s power to do something right where you are.

What is in your house?  Who could write a more compelling story than the one about the widow whose godly husband died—she is cheated out of her inheritance and now her sons are being sold into slavery?  She falls before the prophet begging for a miracle.  He says that last thing she expected to hear: “what is in your house?”

What is in my house?  Despair, futility and humiliation are in my house. How could there be anything in there?  There is absolutely nothing in there.  That is why I am here begging you for help!

Then she remembered that she had one jar of oil.  Now she could receive the word of the Lord: “2 Kings 4: 3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

prayer-woman

What are you waiting for?  All of the seeds of greatness are in your present circumstances.

3.Now—not someday! Here is a conversation that has never happened: God says, here’s what I want you to do.  Let me know a good time to start.”  Jesus said, “But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62.

Psalm 39 is a gut-wrenching psalm.  It seems to focus on the danger of wasting a life.  After some agonizing experiences the writer comes to a magnificent realization in verse 7: “What do I wait for?  My hope is in God.”
What would happen if you became utterly convinced that the inner miracle that God has stored in you needs to come out no matter what?  What if you completely believed that it is you, not someone else—it is here not somewhere else—it is now and not someday?

I think that Henry T. Blackaby answered that best: “If Christians around the world were to suddenly renounce their personal agendas, their life goals and their aspirations, and begin responding in radical obedience to everything God showed them. The world would be turned upside down. How do we know? Because that’s what first century Christians did, and the world is still talking about it.”
