IT IS LIKE TEACHING YOUR YOUNG SON TO SMOKE DOPE

I remember it like it was yesterday. I could smell marijuana smoke. I looked over the fence into the yard of my neighbor, Sam, because the smoke was coming from his back porch. Sam was teaching his thirteen-year-old son how to light up and smoke dope.

It was not hard for him to interpret my glare. He defensively explained that he didn’t want to lose his son—that it is “better that he does it at home with me, than behind my back.”

Apparently, sitting his son down and explaining why it was dangerous and stupid to get stoned, was not an option. But, he was not saving his son—he was destroying him.

In the same way, a prominent Evangelical ‘scholar’ explained why—even after he and his group called ‘Pro-life Evangelicals for Biden’, were used and lied to—he still supports Biden, because, he admits, he doesn’t want to lose the kids!

He said there are “many younger evangelicals who are not happy about … the way in which their parents and grandparents have endorsed and defended the Trump administration. We … don’t want to lose them to evangelicalism because of what is perceived as mean-spirited, highly partisan commitment on the part of the older generation of evangelicals.” Wait, what?

How is what he is doing any better than what my neighbor Sam was doing?  He is saying, the younger generation must not be lost! So, what is his plan for keeping them? ‘Let them smoke wokeness’ and, worse still, ‘let’s smoke it with them.’

So we should smoke woke with them because we are afraid of losing them?

Really!? Sell their souls to Biden? Expose them to the toxic fumes of radical abortion—the heresy of multiple genders—bending to Red China—heaping massive debt—seizing guns—censorship—racism and victimhood—because these poor, innocent youngsters are offended by Trump’s tweets? Forgive me, but where is the adult in the room? The Christian adult!

Millennials must not be classified as some exotic new human species that must be excused from correction and common sense. That is the greatest insult—and the purest form of hatred.

“Discipline your children while there is hope. Otherwise, you will destroy their lives” (Proverbs 19:18).

I stood before 2,000 youth at a Christian college. I said, “If you are not careful you are going to be the most boring old people America has ever known. If you look in my smart phone you will see pictures of people being saved and healed. If I were to look in most of your smart phones, what would I see, pictures of food?

“Imagine years from now, showing those pictures to your grandchildren. “Grandpa, what is this a picture of?” And you sheepishly answer, “Well, that was my breakfast.” And then they will ask, “Why are there 17 pictures of grandma in front of a mirror that are all exactly the same?””

Believe it or not, these young men and women did not race to a safe place or assume the fetal position. They laughed. They reacted the way young people have for generations. Why? Because we forgot the obvious. Because in our zeal to prove they are different, we have forgotten they are just the same as the youth of every generation. Scared and teachable.

If this prominent evangelical were right, millennials would not be crowding the front of our tent to be saved. They can take the truth. More of them than you realize are ready to hear the other side of the story—the story about America’s decency, and the good things this nation has done in history.

It is the professors who have changed. It is the villains who have changed. It is the Democrat Party that has changed.  And I do not care who this offends: if we do not want to lose them, we must risk losing them by speaking the truth, in love!

Dear Christian professor…so what if you keep them Christian by letting them support Biden? What happens down the road when they read about Hell in the Bible? And, yes, when you quit preaching anything that you are afraid might cause you to lose them, where will it end?

When I get a chance to reason with youth, many of them wake up out of wokeness.  Catch phrases die after they are challenged to check their validity. When they spout stuff about Trump, I challenge them to show me, “When did he say that?” They are even able to handle the fact that I am working and praying for Trump to be back in the White House.

I know when it is time to preach Christ and leave Trump and Republicanism out. I also know when it is time to confront a generation that has too much at stake to be coddled, hoodwinked, and appeased.

Stop smoking dope with them. Love them enough to tell them the truth, and do not destroy them!

DO YOU KNOW WHEN AND WHEN NOT TO SUBMIT TO GOVERNMENT?

Today we woke to the up to the sad truth that Democrats  have declared war. They are demanding unconditional surrender. No only from the church but from innocent citizens. Their war compels believers to look again at what the Bible says about evil laws and evil leaders.

Doesn’t the Bible tell us to obey them no matter what? Absolutely not. And it is shocking how many believers do not know their Bible or have been given false teaching. There is no verse in the Bible that tells you to obey evil government or laws.

If we don’t realize this now, we will sit back and let our nation be destroyed.

Christians during the American Revolution understood that the Bible does not teach us to obey evil laws or leaders. There would be no America if Christian Colonists believed they should obey the evil laws of England.

Let me prove to you beyond any doubt that the Bible tells us what we must do in the face of wicked government and laws.

First, I will expose a pathetic heresy that many believers commonly accept as truth. This is a widespread excuse for submitting when we should disobey.

Here is an example of someone who wrote me while under the influence of this false teaching:

“Out of curiosity, how do you justify your argument against obeying the government when you read Romans 13:1-7. The government Paul was talking about was even more oppressive than anything we can imagine. You could truly be martyred for your faith under the Roman government. And, what was Paul’s response? Did he call for governmental reform? Did he call for us to protest the government? Did he demand his rights and call on the government to recognize his rights? None of the above, he said, in the face of a brutal government, to obey. He didn’t say obey if your rights are recognized, he said obey. The church of today has to realize that the government is not our arena as Christians. Never, in the history of the church, has God used the government to bring about change.”

This man wrote me the definitive blurb on false submission. This defense of submission to evil government is riddled with error and falsehoods. Here are my responses to selected quotes:

1.You could truly be martyred for your faith under the Roman government.” First the writer tells us to obey evil laws, but then mentions martyrs. They never would have been martyred had they not broken the law by being Christians.

2. Then he asks, “Did (Paul) call for governmental reform? Did he call for us to protest the government? Did he demand his rights and call on the government to recognize his rights? None of the above…” The truth is, Paul did all of the above. “Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out” (Acts 16:37).

3. And finally, the zinger—the heresy that has sidelined the Body of Christ in the hour when we are most needed: “The church of today has to realize that the government is not our arena as Christians. Never, in the history of the church, has God used the government to bring about change.” Totally untrue. William Wilberforce was a Christian who used his faith in Jesus to abolish slavery in England. In fact, believers throughout history have created child labor laws, health regulations, and have exposed injustice, and corruption. It is safe to say that Christians are more responsible for influencing government, bringing about reform by forcing laws to be changed, and standing up for justice, than any other group in history.

So how did this writer get it so wrong? By doing what so many do. Isolating one set of verses, taking them out of context, and arriving at a conclusion that looks holy, but is in fact, pure and simple fear.

Let’s look at the verses that have been violated:

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore, you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor (Romans 13:1-7).

It seems to say that we are to honor government in every form, right? Wrong. To demonstrate what Paul is saying I offer this example. Say some parents leave the house, and leave the oldest child in charge. The child is given strict instructions not to open the door for anyone, except for a postal messenger whom they are expecting to deliver an important package that day.

The parents tell the child, “He will have blonde hair. He is wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. Don’t let anyone else in.” So later, a man with black hair, a blue shirt, and black slacks knocks on the door claiming to be the messenger with the package. Do they let him in? Of course not.

Lost in all the quoting of this verse on submission to government is the most important part: The description of the ruling authority. The Bible tells us what they are wearing! Look at the description:

1.They are not a terror to good works. Any government that terrorizes the innocent is not of God. How can you say that Hitler was God’s will for Germany? Hitler and other tyrants are in fact the ones being warned that there were God appointed governments who would destroy them: “But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.”  That is why the just powers of the world rose up and destroyed the Nazis.

2. They praise good works. Authorities that are endorsed by God do not hate or oppose Christian activity. They are the ones who—even if they are not Christian themselves—do not insult soul winning or fight the work of God. They are the cops, teachers, politicians who are glad that children are getting out of gangs and off of drugs.

3. You must be subject for the sake of conscience. When it becomes tricky, is when government is a mixture of right and wrong. Jesus said of the Pharisees, “Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, but do not do” (Matthew 23:3).

Do what they say, but don’t partake of their hypocrisy. Watch them for that moment when they cross the line and come between you and your God.  Just as our conscience should drive us to obey the law, we should also know when our conscience tells us not to obey an evil law.

Here’s when Peter reached that tipping point, speaking to those very same Pharisees: “So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:18-20).

And again, in Acts 5:29, “Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.””

God not only does not endorse evil government: He will have no part in it. “Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You—they who frame and hide their unrighteous doings under [the sacred name of] law?” (Psalm 94:20). There is your answer. A corrupt throne (government) cannot be allied with God. He cannot have fellowship with it.

When a government creates evil laws God cannot be allied it—because evil laws are the worst form of wickedness.

They are damnable because they give legitimacy to evil.  Matthew Henry said, “Iniquity is daring enough even when human laws are against it, which often prove too weak to give an effectual check to it; but how insolent, how mischievous, is it when it is backed by a law! Iniquity is not the better, but much the worse, for being enacted by law; nor will it excuse those that practice it to say that they did but do as they were bidden.”

Notice how at the end, Henry says we can’t use the excuse that we were just obeying the law.  That is why Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

The laws being created by Democrats, using the coronavirus as an excuse, are far worse than the virus itself because, unlike the virus, those new laws become permanent.  It is time for the church to wake up and take action, beginning with voting the evildoers out of office and quit calling our submission a godly thing, when it is just a cowardly thing.

“WHO WILL RISE UP FOR ME AGAINST THE EVILDOERS? WHO WILL STAND UP FOR ME AGAINST THE WORKERS OF INIQUITY?” (Psalm 94:16).

P.S. A message to those who support Mario Murillo’s mission to America.

John Wesley started 700 churches on three continents. One of his edicts to his young preachers was this: Always bring books for the people that will help them to grow.

We found a way to both do that and win souls. As you can imagine, a blog with this much traffic can sell advertising—something we refuse to do. What we do, is offer you materials that are chosen because they can make you armed and dangerous for Christ. The proceeds from the book and flash drive go to soul winning.

Some are offended that we offer books at all. We hope they will try to understand the two-fold blessing of offering this material. Thank you.

Our current special offer features our two most popular items: Treasury flash drive and Vessels of Fire and Glory together plus a free surprise gift from Mario Murillo Ministries.

Do you really care about your people?

Some of you Christian leaders won’t mention politics from your pulpit. You don’t take public stands on abortion, same sex marriage, or the leftist takeover of America through the Equality Act. You who believe all these subjects are divisive and outside the jurisdiction of your pulpit.

Here’s the thing—by doing this you are hurting the people, and hurting them badly. You are hurting them in ways you never imagined.

Not only that, but hurting the people is more dangerous than you might think. You will give an account before God for withholding truth, care, protection and guidance. Hebrews 13:17 is a warning to believers to “obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.”

You know what’s even more chilling about those verses? They tell the people that they should put their trust in you because you realize you must give an account to God.

I did an experiment when preaching recently in Fresno. I asked a packed house some questions.

“How many of you have been threatened at work for witnessing?” Hands went up.

“How many of you have had a child sent home for wearing a Christian T-shirt?” Hands went up.

“How many of you have been fired because of what you said about your beliefs on social media?” Hands went up again.

Then I turned to all the pastors and leaders and asked them, “Are you preaching comfort to these sheep? Are you training them to give an answer? Are you taking action against persecution in your area by confronting politicians and government about religious freedom?”

These and many other kinds of things that the Left does are inflicting pain on your people. They should not be forced to be silent or suffer because they are not properly trained to push back on leftist bullies. Neither should their children have to suffer.

In my book Vessels of Fire and Glory I wrote: “Pastors who refuse to clarify their political positions are ignoring hazards their people face every day. Politics hurt. Its costs Christian bakers their business, it costs believers being fired from their jobs, students getting expelled. It’s why men in bizarre women’s clothes and make up are reading to children in public Libraries. Politics is why you and I are accused of hate speech. Politics is why many Christian outlets have stopped performing marriages. Politics is why your tax dollars fund the cost of abortion.

You did not leave the Democrat party, it left you. They told God to get out. They booed God and Israel at their convention. They champion everything your Bible condemns. They are now controlled by the radical wing of their party, a wing that will gladly finance terror and give illegal criminals Constitutional rights. What part of that is still unclear to you? THIS IS NOT ABOUT LEGISLATING MORALITY…IT’S ABOUT STOPPING THE LEGISLATION OF IMMORTALITY.”

Peter told the Sanhedrin officials he would not obey their commands if it contradicted God’s word. Acts 4:19 “But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge, 20 for we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”

Then he did something else—something every loving leader should do: Verse 23 “And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.” Peter told them, because the threat affected them as well.

The solution was a prayer for boldness to tell the truth and for miracles to confirm the Gospel. Verse 29: “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

How can you ask God to look at a threat that you refuse to admit is a threat?

My last question is about the debacle of Trump’s impeachment. Is it just because it’s Trump that you can’t see the catastrophe? Is it because it is just easier avoid confrontation? Are you aware that your silence comes at a price you can never repay?

We will all pay with our children’s future if we do not openly rebuke this miscarriage of justice. Democrats have invented a crime. Then they invented a way to prosecute that crime. Then they told you that they would use their invented power to destroy anyone who gets in their way.

If they can do this to Trump they can do this to you, and worst of all, they can do it to the souls God told you to take care of. If you love them—inform them—train them—encourage them—and empower them, to walk in the truth, and in the might of God.

Acts 20: 26 “Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.”

500 PRO-ABORTION, GLOBALIST PASTORS CALL BELIEVERS WHO BACK TRUMP FALSE CHRISTIANS

500 ‘Evangelical’ pastors recently wrote a letter that accuses believers who support Trump of not being Christian. They have even invented a new term to describe what they believe to be a threat to the world. They have coined a new title! “Christian Nationalists.“

I want to show you how wrong and misguided this letter is. We will begin with a tired model that anti-Trump “Christians” keep misapplying, likening Trump’s America to Nazi Germany.

These pastors who call themselves evangelical are trying to say that there is a group they have labeled ‘Christian Nationalists’ who are attempting to do with Trump what ‘misguided’ German Christians did with Hitler. And of course, their intention is to make you think of Trump as a kind of Hitler.

In fact, these pastors fancy themselves the new Dietrich Bonhoeffers. But they couldn’t be more unlike that heroic German pastor who opposed Hitler. Indeed, these pastors have it totally backwards. Instead of being men and women of conscience, they are guilty of a profound compromise and deception. The letter they wrote is diametrically opposite of what Bonhoeffer stood for.

For starters, if Trump is like Hitler, he is doing a terrible job. The media is against him. Academia is against him. Social media is against him. Hitler, on the other hand, controlled everything. He suppressed all opposing thought. He created the original cancel culture. So, in those ways, Hitler would be more akin to the Left who seek to destroy all opposition. Link to letter is below.

Where these pastors get it so wrong is in their ignorance of what ‘right wing’ is and what ‘left wing’ is. The fact is, Nazism is leftist, just as Communism is leftist. To call Nazism extreme right, is a fallacy.

Nazism began as socialism. Yes, indeed socialism is the spawn of the far-left regime known as Nazism, aka the National German Socialist Workers’ Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP).

Again, Hitler was not right wing. He was left wing. No conservative can be a Nazi. A true conservative innately abhors Nazism. Conservatism, as implied by its very name, seeks to conserve the values of a nation, and is thus the natural enemy of both Nazism and Communism.

But this is only the beginning of their errors.

They have invented the term “Christian Nationalists.” The 500 pastors characterize this fictional group as being composed of Trump supporters who serve Jesus, but have blurred the line between being American and being Christian. In the view of these 500 pastors, ‘Christian Nationalists’ believe the Constitution and Declaration of Independence are divine documents equal to scripture, and that they are a grave threat to American freedom.

So, I did some checking, and that reminded me of Grape Nuts.

First, let me ask you about Grape Nuts cereal. Have you ever looked in a box of Grape Nuts? There are no grapes and there are no nuts, and in that same way, Christian Nationalists are like Grape Nuts. You can’t find them anywhere, but according to these pastors, they are everywhere. Instead, finding a Christian Nationalist—a Christian who puts the Declaration of Independence on the same level as the Bible—among those who support Trump, is like trying to find lips on a chicken.

The Christian Nationalist narrative is the Evangelical-woke-pastor’s version of the Russian Collusion hoax.

These pastors are telling an out and out lie. More to the point—Christianity Today Magazine is also telling a lie. Christianity Today, to quote them about the riot at the Capitol building: “The responsibility of yesterday’s violence must be in part laid at the feet of those evangelical leaders who ushered in and applauded Trump’s presidency. It can also sadly be laid at the feet of the white American church more broadly.” That is a lie. A pretty big lie.

Let’s unpack the lie: Trump vehemently opposed violence. He even implored the audience on January 6th to protest peacefully. That is why Trump was acquitted a second time.

What makes it an even more heinous lie is the tinge of racism in the lie about the feet of the white church. A larger percentage of black and Latino voters cast their ballots for Trump. Motivated by their pastors, they voted for Trump in greater numbers than for any Republican in history. Why do these WOKE pastors make it a white thing? The answer to that is chilling.

Why do I believe these pastors are not like Bonhoeffer, but more like the pastors that Bonhoeffer rebuked? It is because they are being silent about the true tyranny currently in the White House.

Furthermore, I do not believe that these pastors are behaving like Bonhoeffer. This letter smacks of the opposite of Bonhoeffer. They sound more like the liberal German preachers who attacked Dietrich for pulling the church into politics.

That explains why one of these evangelical leaders also makes a scathing attack on Eric Metaxas who wrote the definitive biography on Bonhoeffer.

One of Bonhoeffer’s biggest accusations against pastors was their silence. Bonhoeffer said of them “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act. And God will not hold you blameless.”

The 500 pastors who signed the letter are probably howling because I call them pro-abortion and globalists. I will add also that they are racist for continuing the white supremacy narrative. The reason I do is because of their silence—the very silence Bonhoeffer condemned.

Do you hear any of them condemning the Equality Act? The Equality Act puts men in the little girl’s restroom. It is the kind of law that will cause incidents like what happened recently when a man was put in the MMA ring with a woman, and he cracked her skull.

When was the last time any of these 500 men and women condemned the unspeakable evil of abortion from their pulpit? The slaughter of the innocents by doctors is an evil reminiscent of the Nazi ovens and Joseph Mengele.  Hitler’s Final Solution killed about 10 million men, women and children―so far, since 1973, Roe v. Wade has killed over 61 million babies.

Some of these liberal pastors heartily approve of so-called Christian organizations, like Sojourners that have taken money from globalist George Soros.

Because of their blindness about Nazism being right wing, they can ignore the real threat: the total blackout of civil discourse from Democrats. The yawning overreach of the Biden administration. The growing threat to freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

Jesus talked about straining at a gnat, but swallowing a camel, in Matthew 23:24. Here is the gnat they strain at: the mythical threat of ‘Christian Nationalists.’ Here is the camel they are swallowing: the vast tyranny of the Democrat Party and the fact that the church is in the crosshairs.

Here is the clincher that proves they are not at all like Bonhoeffer: Paul D. Miller, a leading proponent of the lie about the mythical ‘Christian Nationalist’ threat, attacks Eric Metaxas—the author of the biography, titled Bonhoeffer. Miller said, “The hardcore ideologues need rebuke; for example, Eric Metaxas and how he has gone hard in the direction of pro-Trump advocacy and Christian nationalism. I disagree with him and I think that he’s harming himself, the nation, and the gospel.”

Two burning questions: Why is Miller attacking the foremost expert on Bonhoeffer? And why did Metaxas, the leading expert on what Germany was like at the time of Hitler, conclude after surveying the current landscape, that Trump is the one to support?

Why have these 500 taken such a hard left turn? And why have they demonized an innocent group of believers? Let me give the answers in order: A desperate pharisaical need for acceptance from academia and a misguided sense of superiority over their brothers and sisters in Christ.

These pastors want to look Woke to the establishment. They do not want to stand out. They yearn for academic acceptance. Matthew 23:5-7 says “But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’”

Interestingly, this same weakness that kept pastors quiet about Hitler, is keeping these leaders quiet about the evils of Biden.

They do not have a valid argument; they only have a contempt for Christians who support Trump. That contempt is an arrogant sense of superiority. Look at how loaded this question to Miller was in this article in Christianity Today: “Question to Miller: ‘What is the draw of Christian nationalism to the “poor, uneducated, and easy to command” Religious Right, as they’ve been described?’”

Now look at what a former editor of Christianity Today, Mark Calli, said about Trump supporters: “I know hardly anyone, let alone any evangelical Christian who voted for Trump. I describe evangelicals like me as ‘elite’ evangelicals … and this class of evangelicals has discovered that we have family members so different they seem like aliens in our midst. These other evangelicals often haven’t finished college, and if they have jobs (and apparently a lot of them don’t), they are blue-collar jobs or entry-level work. They don’t write books or give speeches; they don’t attend conferences of evangelicals for social justice or evangelicals for immigration reform. They are deeply suspicious of mainstream media. A lot of them voted for Donald Trump.”

These words are chillingly similar to former President Barack Obama’s description of rural voters who “bitterly cling to their guns and Bibles,” and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s characterization of Trump supporters as “deplorables.”

That contempt is also in Miller who is part of the 500 and who believes Trump supporters need to be deprogrammed: “I think the ambassadors are the deceivers and they need to be expelled and rejected,” and, he concludes that we, as Trump supporters, “all need to be deprogrammed.”

The letter from this group of 500 liberals serves a darker purpose: to intimidate Christians into silence. Kylee Zempel in her article entitled, “Stop Smearing Christians As ‘Christian Nationalists’ Just Because They Value Both Faith And Freedom,” said this:

“…stories about so-called Christian nationalism would love nothing more than to shame and bully faithful disciples into sitting down and shutting up. The Capitol riot was a convenient hook for their narrative, but they don’t just believe the people who showed up in Washington that day were religious extremists. They think all Christians are. It isn’t that they don’t want you in Statuary Hall. It’s that they don’t want you on the school board, in journalism, or on campus. They want to chase you out of churches, out of public office, and even out of political conversations.

“As long we remain on this Earth, Christians will be assailed as bigots and nationalists. This evergreen dynamic of Christians being not “of the world,” but striving to be faithful while they’re “in it.”  Don’t confuse true believers who rightly fight for both faith and freedom as Christian nationalists. They’re just Christians.”

Amen!

Bottom line? What is the reason for the hatred of Christians, the Church, and Donald Trump? The Bible says, “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time” (Rev. 12:12)

Make no mistake: the stealing of the 2020 election and the frantic push by the current regime to undo everything Trump put into place is designed to reshape America into a Marxist, atheistic version of Orwell’s 1984 that would be unrecognizable to the founding fathers. It is part of the relentless plan of Satan to destroy this nation, the last bastion of freedom in the world.

WHAT THE BIBLE REALLY SAYS ABOUT SUBMISSION TO GOVERNMENT.

SCRIPTURE DOES NOT TELL BELIEVERS TO OBEY EVIL LAWS

Today we woke to the up to the sad truth that Democrats  have declared war. They are demanding unconditional surrender. No only from the church but from innocent citizens. Their war compels believers to look again at what the Bible says about evil laws and evil leaders.

Doesn’t the Bible tell us to obey them no matter what? Absolutely not. And it is shocking how many believers do not know their Bible or have been given false teaching. God not only does not endorse evil government: He will have no part in it. “Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—a throne that brings on misery by its decrees? The wicked band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death” (Psalm 94:20). There is your answer. A corrupt throne (government) cannot be allied with God.

The Amplified Bible (1974) puts it this way: “Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, one which frames and devises mischief by decree [under the sacred name of law]?”  How much clearer can it be than this?  It proves that laws can be evil and cannot be allied with God.

In fact, evil laws are the worst form of sin. They provide legitimacy to evil.  Matthew Henry said, “Iniquity is daring enough even when human laws are against it, which often prove too weak to give an effectual check to it; but how insolent, how mischievous, is it when it is backed by a law! FRESNO EXPLODES!

Almighty God made an emphatic statement in Fresno tonight. This was not a good meeting. I have been to good meetings. This was an explosion. This was the vengeance of God crashing into Satan’s agenda.

The church in California has been told a mountain of lies. So many of those lies were shattered tonight that I lost count. Here are just a few:

The lie that believers are afraid to turn out to a crusade was obliterated. Every seat in the tent vanished almost as soon as we opened the gates. The tent flaps went down and then 500 more people sat or stood outside the tent.

God obliterated the lie that people will only listen to an easy message. My sermon was entitled You did not know when God came to save you.   I told them that preaching should tell people when they are wrong. I added that preaching can be a stern warning.

I referred to the day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Over a hundred thousand people roared praise to Jesus saying, “Hosanna he that comes in the name of the Lord!” But Jesus was not elated with their praise. Instead, He began to weep. Doom had already been pronounced on the great city.

Jesus said in Luke 19: 41 Now when Jesus approached and saw the city, He wept over it, 42 saying, “If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and surround you and close in on you from every side. 44 They will demolish you—you and your children within your walls—and they will not leave within you one stone on top of another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”

I told them that 3 kinds of people were in the adoring crowd.

-There were those who followed Jesus and heeded His teachings.

-Then there were the religious leaders who despised Jesus and wanted Him dead.

-Finally, there were those who were oblivious to the whole matter.

Then I said all three of those kinds of people are in this tent and on these grounds.

Here me dear reader. Tonight, God warned California. He warned her about shutting down the church. He warned her about being the instrument of evil to America. He warned her that—without a statewide repentance—She too could be judged and removed.

Is California in the early stages of judgement with all the disasters and misery oozing out of their rebellion toward God?

Then I challenged the lost to consider that judgment was also an individual matter. “God does not want you to toss Him mediocre repentance but total repentance.” Conviction prevailed and many were cut to the heart. Nobody was fully prepared for what happened next.

They flowed to the front from everywhere. The souls did not hesitate. They tell me over 300 souls surrendered and were born again. Only God knows the true number.

We were supposed to take an offering. We did not. We were expecting to have a miracle service, but we did not. Why? Amos 9:13 explains it: “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed…”

Amos speaks of a harvest so massive, it takes all winter, even into the next planting season to gather. When the plowman came to plow in the Spring, the reaper was still there. The harvest was so big tonight that we had to cancel everything else to gather it in. We had to tell the audience to be patient because the only thing we could do is minister to the new converts.

The crowd left knowing the shutdown of the church was over. Their hearts burned with hope and joy at the unfolding glory in their city. They are off to get others because Monday night is a miracle service. This explosion is the answer to decades of prayer. All glory be to Jesus!

THE BIBLE DOES NOT TELL YOU TO OBEY EVIL LAWS

It’s time  to wake up to the sad truth that Democrat Mayors and Governors have declared war. No only on the church but on innocent citizens. This war compels believers to look again at what the Bible says about evil laws and evil leaders.

Democrats, after using the “Pandemic” as an excuse to illegally lockdown the church, have graduated to condoning riots, looting, and now murder in the name of racial justice. At first, I thought they were testing to see how the public reacts. This no longer explains it. Biden’s poll numbers are dropping because Democrat leaders refuse to take action against the domestic terrorism of Black Lives Matter and Antifa. What we have now is a simple case of stubborn madness.

Doesn’t the Bible tell us to obey them no matter what? Absolutely not. And it is shocking how many believers do not know their Bible or have been given false teaching. There is no verse in the Bible that tells you to obey evil government or laws. And again, if we don’t realize that now, before we sit back and let our nation be destroyed.

None of the above, he said, in the face of a brutal government, to obey. He didn’t say obey if your rights are recognized, he said obey. The church of today has to realize that the government is not our arena as Christians. Never, in the history of the church, has God used the government to bring about change.”

WHY IS TRUMP DIVISIVE? BECAUSE HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE DIVISIVE.

Donald Trump is divisive. He has to be. He is divisive in the way that a surgeon ‘divides’ a cancer from a patient. He is divisive in the way that a cop ‘divides’ an innocent woman from her attacker. He has been placed in the White House to create a division between us and certain disaster.

He is uncompromising because the other side wants to destroy the United States. The Democrat Party has erased any possibility of compromise because everything America stands for will simply not survive what they will do to us if they are not stopped.

Yes, it is true, that fuzzy-thinking Christians want Trump to be more conciliatory toward his opponents. But it is his opponents, and not Trump, who have made that impossible.  Under the current conditions, a good leader must be divisive.

Jesus talked about being divisive: “Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword [of division between belief and unbelief]. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his [own] household [when one believes, and another does not]” (Matthew 10:34-36).

Jesus divided truth and error, light and darkness, slavery and liberty. The modern church has so blatantly neglected her duty to American culture up until now, that we have no choice. We must openly speak out against the agenda of the Democrat Party because they have forced our hand, and, more importantly, the hand of God.

Trump is divisive! But let’s take a look at what he is trying to divide us from:

Trump must divide the nation from the Democrat Party’s deadly anti-American mindset: Gabrielle Bruney confirms this mindset. Writing for Esquire Magazine she said, “Trump’s Mount Rushmore Speech was just as terrifyingly bonkers as you’d expect. The President rejected Independence Day weekend unity in favor of fomenting hysteria about “far-left fascism.””

According to Gabrielle, we are only imagining the looting, burning and killings that have been running rampant in dozens of major cities. According to her, there is no nationwide crime wave. There are no leftist hordes wreaking havoc across America—there is no unhinged media propaganda campaign to smear our history—there is no educational brainwashing against American values. It is all in our minds. The worst part is that she believes that because he refuses to deny the existence of the ongoing leftist rampage, Trump is being divisive. Wow…

It is imperative for Trump to divide us from the Democrat Party’s campaign to poison our history: One of Joe’s Biden’s potential picks for running mate is Tammy Duckworth.  Here is what she said on CNN about President Trump’s speech at Mount Rushmore: “He spent all of his time talking about dead traitors.”

The woman who called George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln “dead traitors” is Biden’s idea of a potential Vice President? That tells you everything you need to know about where the Democrat Party stands. They hate America, the Constitution, and those who founded and preserved this nation.

Here’s the key point: Trump’s speech at Mount Rushmore wasn’t hysteria. It wasn’t tyrannical. It was American. That’s why they hated it.

Another thing I am proud that President Trump is dividing us from is the wave of murders, violence, and destruction that is growing daily on every street in America.  Tucker Carlson rightly labelled the masses of violent protesters the “armed militia of the Democrat Party.” That is exactly what they are. The top officials of the Democrat Party are more than sanctioning the fires, looting and killing going on in the streets.

For Christians to be squeamish about Trump’s rightful divisiveness is tragic. I thank God that Donald Trump is wielding a sword. I thank God he is weathering both the insane onslaught of hatred from the Left and the apathy and outright antagonism coming from lukewarm Christians. Believe me, they are both equally painful to him.

Finally, imagine a Christian from China who has been imprisoned for his faith. After being set free and being brought to America, what is his first impression of the American church? Most people would guess that he would marvel at our religious freedom. But they would be wrong. No, his reaction would be just the opposite.

He would be horrified that we are blind to what is happening to our country. He would be dumbfounded to see us heading down the exact same road that China took when its people fell into lockstep with the anti-Christ Marxists who came down from the hills looting, burning and pulling down statues. He would be outraged at our apathy toward the chaos and tyranny. And he would be dumbfounded at our hesitation to oppose their godless agenda.

Most of all, that man would be the first to praise the forceful way in which Trump is combating this evil. Yes, Trump is divisive. And thank God he is!

P.S. A Special message to all of our friends from Mario Murillo Ministries

Why do we offer you books? It is certainly not to blunt the impact of the message you just read. In fact, these books reinforce the message we are trying to spread. More on that in a moment.  So, why do we offer them to you?
When the pandemic closed our tent crusades, church meetings and rallies, the Holy Spirit commanded Mario to keep our staff on at full salary, and trust Him. He obeyed and God has provided. But another thing the Holy Spirit grants are wise ideas. And we needed one. That is when the War Chest Collection was born.
If you look at the page you will see no advertising. And there never will be. And if you get our newsletter you will see that we have stopped raising money for projects we can’t do right now. But even that was not good enough for us.
In this pandemic we needed something that was truly a win-win situation. We prayed for something that would help the people, and us, that was not a garish fund raiser.
Then, we remembered how John Wesley taught his young preachers to always bring books with them that would help the people. Why not then, at a time when people have time to read, offer them something that will empower them and at the same time keep us strong and ready to go as soon as the door reopens?
We are amazed at the impact of Vessels of Fire and Glory. That book is not just blessing people—it has started a movement! Critical Mass remains required reading in many Christian schools and has never stopped influencing people who pray for revival. Edgewise offers wisdom for living in the last days. Together they provide you with solid, hard-hitting and encouraging truth. Not a bad thing just now.
The War Chest Collection has handed the enemy a double defeat by empowering God’s people and keeping us strong and ready.
Thank you for listening and get your War Chest Collection today. Turn your summer read into equipping, encouragement, and fire! We are all going to come out of this mightier than ever!   -Mario Murillo Ministries
