I NEVER SAID THAT

It was interesting how many thought I was claiming that any Christian who disagrees with Trump hates him.  I never said that.

It was equally remarkable to see how angry they got—how they took it so personally.

Some of the comments were hilarious.  “I am a believer, I don’t hate him and proceeded to say very hateful things about him. Other Christians cited the audio of Trump from 12 years ago as proof that he is evil.  Not even considering he might have changed.  Again, they add the disclaimer, “but I don’t hate him.”  Here’s some more comments:

“This is why young people won’t listen to us.”

“The article is divisive to the Body of Christ.”

“Stay out of politics.  No politician or party can be used of God.”

But my favorite criticism came from the guy who said he was a Christian and told me to go to hell for accusing him of hate.

Thank God they’re wrong about young people.  I hold nothing back and it just makes more of them show up.  I give them direct appeals and they come to Jesus.  It’s a canard to say youth won’t come hear me because of my views on Trump.

What looks divisive may simply be God separating the sheep and the goats.  A large core of believers is rising that is finished with the lukewarm church and squeamish believers .  That is a good thing.  It is beyond question where we are now.  When the hard left took possession of the Democratic Party, the first thing they did was throw the church out.  Thus destroying any innocent reason for a believer to vote for any democrat.

We have never faced such a hate-filled mob of media elites, Hollywood hypocrites, and God-hating extremists—hell-bent on crushing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in America.  Never, has it been clearer what side of the issue you should be on.

Who changed traditional marriage?  Who champions—not only abortion—late-term abortion?  Who puts Christian bakers out of business?  Who is ignores MS-13 because they are immigrants?  Who espouses bans on prayer, conservative speakers on campus, confiscation of guns, makes “F—Trump! a mantra” a statement, one Democratic columnist said, “was worthy of the Pulitzer Prize.”  Whoever is not utterly disgusted with the treatment of Judge Kananaugh will also shy away from their duty on other issues.

If you think God can’t work through a political leader think again.  If you think politics has no place in spiritual warfare think again.  Few if any of those offended by the post mentioned the evil of the Democratic Party and the grave threat they posed to America.

At this moment, God is trying marshal His people to stop the total destruction of freedom this November.  Sadly, many Christians still don’t get it.  They have the considerable energy to write hateful comments but not enough compunction to vote.

Yes, I’ll say and maintain my conviction…in all this madness of globalism, and George Soros-funded tyranny, Trump is a momentary reprieve from God—an imperfect vessel notwithstanding.  He is a stop-gap buying time for the church to act.  And it’s disastrous for the church to ignore it.  If nothing else, he defeated Hillary Clinton.

Never mind the dinky stuff.  Look at the policies and the laws he is undoing and the ones he prevents—laws and policies that would muzzle the church and will build a godless nation for your children and grandchildren.  Trump is a firewall.

When you say that God can’t use politicians you are saying only the devil can.

God’s catalysts can come in strange packages…ranging from the bizarre, to the coarse.  Samson, Saul of Tarsus, and even General Patton come to mind.  Often, they offended sensibilities, barged in where others feared to go.

The devil has the American church groggy on the goodness of God without the needed balance of the holiness of God—holiness that leads to authority—authority to rise and tear down cultural strongholds of Satan through moral awakening.

As I said, Trumps is buying us time.  Seizing the time?  Well, that’s our job.  I believe that many who protested my blog do not hate Trump but some of their overreaction is curious, and begs another question:   Where’s your alternative plan, or cogent grasp of the threat of the hard left, or even a concern about abortion, and the heinous sin that so many in the church just choose to ignore.  Is it that you wanted to be liked by the left or something worse, cowardice.

Donald Trump: Working to improve the lives of people who hate him

Donald Trump is working to improve the lives of those who hate him.  He just kept his promise to put Brett Kanvanaugh on the Supreme Court and he is being hated for it.  Ironically, this will make life better for women even though many on the left refuse to see it.  He risks being hated, embraces the hate and keeps working for those who despise him.  He is working to make life better for every demographic group that is calling for his removal and even his death.

Now humor me as I engage is some sarcasm:

-Even though only 8% of blacks voted for him and many black leaders vilify him, he is working to reduce crime, fix crumbling streets and buildings and bring real jobs and real hope to the inner city…I can see why you hate him.

-He is working to improve the lives of women.  He built a multi-billion-dollar empire on a system of merit that promoted men and women equally.  Because of him, the workplace is becoming family friendly with maternity leaves.  Companies are giving women bonuses because of the strong economy.  I can see why you hate him.

He got government off the back of small business—women are the fastest growing group of small business owners.  I can see why women don stupid hats and cuss him out and call him Hitler.

The President is working for the environmentalists who hate him.  Everyone knows the future is in renewable energy but we need a bridge to that future.  Environmentalists want to shut down all fossil fuels and create calamity for the rest of us—especially poor people.  They remind me of the new-age midwives who want women to give birth cold-turkey just to feel all the pain.

These elitist environmentalists don’t have to drive a semi to feed their family.  They will fly around in private jets polluting the air while they lecture they poor fighting to get to work in the only car they can afford.  Refusing to build this bridge to renewable energy is a great way to kill the mother and the baby.  I can see why you hate him.

He is working for poor Americans by securing our borders.  When a criminal or a terrorist enters our country where do they go?  They immediately set up shop in the inner city.  They take the jobs from those who need them most—they plan their mischief in the ghetto.  I can see why inner-city Americans hate Trump…he is putting them first.

When will you wake up from your liberal media induced coma?  Obama had eight years to make black lives matter in Chicago.  He could have sent in the national guard and stopped the killing.  He was more concerned about Syrian refugees than American refugees from violence—I can see why you loved Obama.

An overwhelming number of millennials lived in your parent’s basement under Obama.  Now you don’t.  He put way more energy into putting a man in the women’s restrooms than to putting you in a real career.

And finally, to all of you celebrity Pastors still afraid of support Trump because he is not “pastor” material, let me say this: Would you stay in a church where half of the people lied about you every day and wanted you out.  Would you—knowing there were greener pastures, a bigger church with a higher salary and more adulation—stay and serve?  Yeah I see why you look down on Trump.

Government work?  Trump didn’t need it.  But tell me, where else could Obama have gone?  Can you see Barack trying to build a business in New York City?  He couldn’t do anything but government…and, in my opinion, he was deplorable in government—buttressed by the fantasies of the liberal left.  Again, I can see why you credit Obama for our current economic boom and you hate Trump.

With all bias against him and the massive unfairness heaped on him…Trump still wants to make America great.  How easily—Mr. celebrity pastor—could Trump say, “the heck with all this, I don’t need this for me and my family.

There are many areas Donald Trump needs to grow spiritually but in one area he has zoomed ahead of most preachers: Matthew 5: 44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you…”

The Left in total disgrace

I watched Diane Feinstein oversee San Francisco’s darkest night.  Mayor Moscone had been assassinated by Dan White in San Francisco.  900 people from the People’s Temple were killed by Jim Jones in a South American jungle.  She acquitted herself with honor, strength and wisdom.
Today, I don’t know this woman.  What my heart says is that person who held a city together is still in there—somewhere.  My mind tells me that what we have now is a cold, cynical, calculating politician throwing a bone to the hard left in order to win reelection.
A George Soros funded educator has gone public with an accusation that Brett Kavanagh—nominee for the Supreme Court—sexually assaulted her back in high school.  A charge he vehemently denies.
I don’t expect everyone to believe me but in my soul where it matters, I know this accusation is a lie.   More importantly, Diane knows this is a lie.  She knows, that we know, if there was anything to this story, it would have come out a long time ago.  The timing does not pass the smell test—it stinks to high heaven.
Diane has caved to the Socialist, Me Too#, Antifa, Kill Trump wing of the Democratic Party.  She has lit her torch to the fire of the crazed villagers.

I picture her pounding at the mirror—knowing full well she is lying—repeating over and over again, “it’s for the greater good, it’s for the greater good.”
By running this Kabuki Theater, the Left has utterly disgraced itself.  When Bill Maher admits “this makes us look bad” you know they have disgraced themselves.
How disgusting are California Democrats, if they’re telling the world this is how you win our vote in California.  Diane can no longer run as the voice of reason in the wacko world of Maxine Waters, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders.  Her integrity has been drowned out—finally, by her own hand.
Kavanaugh will be confirmed.  No proof of the assault will be found.  This too shall pass. But what must never pass in the mind of any believer…is what you are doing to your soul, you country, and your children if you pull a lever for any Democrat this November.  Why?  Because if Diane—the last bastion of reason—is gone, the whole party is gone.

I MUST TELL YOU NO MATTER WHAT THE COST

When I began this blog, I could not see how it would succeed.  It was so far ahead of the curb it terrified me.  Total readership reached 4 million today.

My nerves were frazzled the first time I sat down to write something called a blog.  I argued with God.  I could not see how it would succeed. I knew there would be a firestorm over the things I was compelled to say.  I was so right about the firestorm.

Now millions read the blog in virtually every nation of the world.  Every day we are amazed at the impact of this little blog.

“Let me be the first to tell you”…that seems to be the theme of this little blog that could.

Check out this excerpt from the first time we spoke out years ago:

“The America we once knew has been taken away.  It happened overnight.   Because America has changed ministries must change the way that they relate to this new nation.”  Today, that is a common theme but when I first said it friends backed off, doors closed, and we were told that youth would abandon our meetings.  Instead, just the opposite happened–I mean about the youth.

When pastors were scared to death to speak…we did.  Now we see many starting to confront these issues.  In part, I know God used this blog to wake them up.  Paul said, “and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.”  -Philippians 1: 14

This blog was one of the first to declare this among Spirit-filled people:  “Government has become our national God and that race now means more to some Christians than their Bible beliefs.   This new God is waging an incremental war on the Constitution.  The New York Times once referred to  the U.S. Constitution an evil document that we should give up on.”

This blog was one of the first to attack Obamacare as an assault on freedom of religion.  “It forces Christian Institutions to violate their religious convictions.  Cardinal Dolan the spiritual leader of the Archdiocese of New York calls it “an unwarranted, unprecedented radical intrusion.  The Obama White House met with Cardinal Dolan and several Bishops met with the White House to talk.   He said he was told to shut up and accept the mandate.'”

charade

This blog was among the first to preach it is time for the people of God to speak out on the danger of gun control.  5 years before David Hogg we said, “Mass shootings have become the excuse to take away our guns.  Obama wants absolute power. Mahatma Gandhi the great pacifist said, ‘Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest.’  Thomas Jefferson and James Madison believed that the greatest threat to liberty was not foreign invasion or domestic unrest but rather a standing army and a militarized police force that had no fear of inflicting tyranny upon the people.”‘

Then we had the audacity to attack Hollywood when many celebrity pastors were schmoozing with Hollywood.  “If Government is our new God, Hollywood celebrities are our new pastors. Ben Stein asked, ‘Where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren’t allowed to worship God?  There are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.’ Hollywood is the most powerful propaganda machine in history and it has declared war on our faith.”

Then we said, “Ministries must change how they relate to America.”  1 Samuel 10: 6 Says, “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. 7 And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.

Then we took a position so radical we couldn’t see church pastors in the rear view mirror:

“Here is what I believe the occasion demands: The Holy Spirit is saying we can publicly oppose government tyranny while still maintaining a loving witness.  Acts 16: 37 But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out.”  Paul had just led a jailer and several prisoners to Christ and now he turns around and exposes politicians who have broken the Roman Bill of Rights.”

“We must accept the fact that there is a new generation that has no Christian orientation. “And also all that generation was gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, who knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.” Judges 2:10  “We must lay a new foundation of faith in America.  We must preach the central doctrines of our faith. The Bible needs to set fire to our sermons.”

bible fire

Then we said, “The big question now is what does the church do if Trump is president?  In the next few blogs I will open my heart to you about the radical steps the church must take to seize this greatest soul winning opportunity in our lifetime.  Once again, we must change the way we relate to government.  I know we need fresh fire.  Prayer, repentance and waiting for new orders are the keys for the American church…”

Now we reached 4 million readers and everyday our audience expands.  Here’s my promise…no success will tame this blog. We will still be the first to tell you many things…including the fact that censorship is going to intensify so you should register to get this blog.

WHY THE WOUND HAS NEVER HEALED

Oh, we’ve gotten over it…but we have have not healed.

“Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, Which refuses to be healed?” -Jeremiah 15:18

America has healed from the Civil War and two world wars…why can’t we heal from 911?

September 11, 2001, 8:46 am – Mohammed Atta and the other hijackers aboard American Airlines Flight 11 crash the plane into floors 93-99 of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, killing everyone on board and hundreds inside the building.

9:03 am – Hijackers crash United Airlines Flight 175 into floors 75-85 of the WTC’s South Tower, killing everyone on board and hundreds inside the building.

Twin Towering infernos incinerate 3,000 innocent people.   The flames flash light into the abyss revealing the blackest evil of our time—Islamic Terrorism.

The next 60 minutes are living hell.   That hour brings several firsts: The first time the whole nation felt terror—the first time that the Stock Market was closed for 4 days—the first time since the Second World War tanks and personnel patrol American streets—the first time we saw $30 billion dollars’ damage in one hour and an eventual financial loss we could not calculate—for the first time in recent history, America was not invincible.

Not since Pearl Harbor has any event had this much impact on every aspect of our way of life.

Today is 17 years later.  The wound has not healed.  Our pain continues.  Jeremiah asked, “Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, Which refuses to be healed? -Jeremiah 15:18

Why have we not healed?  The disaster of 911 should have driven us to God.  Instead, we ran from Him.  We banned the prayer we so desperately needed.  We censored the only message that could save us.  Instead of staying alert for the war on our freedoms we delved further into drugs.  Losing our morals made us miserable—so what did we do?  We abandoned the few morals we had left.

Our leaders caved into a self-loathing.  We contracted syndromes!   We got battered wife’s syndrome: blaming America for the terror and trying to see all of the good we can in Islam.

We contracted Stockholm Syndrome: sympathizing with all of the people who would do us harm.  We opened our borders and welcomed rapists and killers as if we had some great evil to atone for?

College students—who should rise up to the hard work of facing the future—instead give into their self-pity and even turn it into a noble crusade…going forth to prove they could be offended by anything and afraid of everything.

Villains are now victims and victims are now villains.  The only thing as ugly as 911 is our ugly, ongoing reaction to 911.

The whole world knows we are slouching toward Gomorrah.  North Korea knows it and flaunts its nuclear crimes.  Russia knows it and intimidates our pilots.  Iran knows it—demanding and receiving billions in ransoms from us—then laughing in our face.  China knows it and openly displays contempt whenever possible.

Yes, it is the 17th anniversary of the one day that should galvanize our resolve to once again be the home of the brave.  We should weep over our loss of loved ones and especially the loss of God’s blessing.  We should be repenting and returning to the roots of our greatness.  Instead, our president is vilified for trying.

What will we see today?  We will likely see overpaid, overrated, coddled NFL players show total disdain to our anthem, our flag and this sacred day.  In a way that is perfectly fitting for a nation that is comatose and utterly unaware that they are only setting themselves up for the next unspeakable horror.  May God have mercy on us!

Is our doom sealed?  Not yet, but we must be overtaken with urgency.  Our time is almost up.  It rests with the people of God to seize this moment.  Just as Abraham pleaded with God over Sodom.   He found that Jehovah would spare the city for just 12 righteous men.  So will our Lord spare America with the fervent repentance of a few…if His people wake up.

Let us wake up to our duty even if others will not.  Only don’t offend truth by saying we are entitled to be spared.  On the other hand let us be like the Prophet Joel who faced certain doom with a hope of mercy.   On this day of all days, cry aloud and spare not…forgiveness is still within our grasp.

“Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.
Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him— Joel 2:12-14

OUR RECIPE FOR DISASTER

By now you have heard or seen the video of Lance Wallnau relating the prophetic warning given to Evangelical leaders by Trump.  Trump’s description of the left’s hate for the church, and the plans they have for us after the November midterms are hair-raising.

One of the dumbest things anyone has ever said to me was, “have faith Mario, we got this.”  Those words embody everything that is wrong with the American church’s condition near the November midterm elections.  It oozes entitlement.  It drips with denial.  It’s faith without works and it is dead. It is a recipe for disaster.

Look at me: If the election were held today, Republicans would lose the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate.  Everything Trump has done for the rights of Christians—the ones Obama removed—would be removed again.  On top of that, the most oppressive laws you can imagine would flood American churches from Washington.

Mueller’s investigation would look like a picnic compared to the tidal wave of investigations the left would undertake.

Thugs would be emboldened to physically attack conservatives and Christians.  Social media would tear off its mask and fully censor the church.

Right now, Trump and his family are facing hatred that is unimaginable.  They hate him because of the long list of things he has done to protect your church.  That’s because the left hates you. Hello?

Are you still holding on to the grudge of what the man was 10 years ago?  Shame on you!

And what has the church done to repay Trump for his nameless, daily agony on our behalf?  We reward him with apathy, ingratitude and ignorance.  My friend, we are about to pay an incalculable price for our warped view of this hour.

Don’t be one of those who rejects my warning because you can’t imagine it.  Here’s something you can imagine: California.  Do you honestly believe many pastors will get in their pulpits in California and tell their people to vote Republican?  Of course not.

To those of you that still hold to the fantasy that “we got this,” let me ask you this: Do you see many Pastors at all telling their congregations to vote Republican?  Do you see the popular leaders of the Body of Christ unified behind stopping the left’s agenda?

Satan has seduced many preachers who lead empires and independent kingdoms. They—at this hour—will not unify to speak to the nation as one voice.  They can’t afford to offend for the sake of finances.   Little do they know that once the left gains power they will have no empire left to defend.

Mario is there any hope?  Yes, but we need God put electrode paddles to our faintly beating hearts.  We need holy rage, holy boldness.  We need to talk to every believer we know and wake them up to vote and to tell others to vote.  We need to confront Pastors to get in their pulpit and energize believers by the millions.

I realize that it takes courage to support Trump and our faith at this hour.  Just remember, right now it is hard but if we lose in November it will go from hard to impossible.

No one believes in miracles more than I—and that’s just what we must have at this hour.  We need a miracle of repentance, boldness…but it all begins with humble appreciation that we have this man in the White House.

Trump didn’t make the world more dangerous…Obama did. Here’s why it matters.

Critics falsely accuse Trump of making the world more dangerous.  The truth is, it was Obama—with his foreign policy of weakness and capitulation—that intensified international tensions.
Obama continually gave things away, getting nothing in return but contempt for America.
Trump on the other hand—by refusing to accept anything but victory—defused the danger level of the world.
He brought North Korea and South Korea together!  Yes, there is much to iron out with N.K. but there is no doubt that our president moved the situation further than all of his predecessors.   And, Trump offered nothing to North Korea.
Obama’s weak approach is the bane of liberal thinking.  Underneath, is the belief that victory is not possible. The best they can hope for is a tenuous treaty.  Nothing is settled.  The undercurrent of defeatism ran through all his policies…he found a half-cure for everything.
Tragically, the church learned Obama’s way of making things more dangerous.  The trend in church is to get people to like us better.   Ironically, it only made them hate us more.
Arthur Matthews was an amazing man.  Decades before American Pastors began imitating Obama apology tours, Matthew saw it coming:
“Old Testament examples of prayer at work portray most dramatically for us the believer’s authority over all the power of God’s enemies.  There is a finality that will not be gainsaid in the way the superior strength of alien armies is disposed of as God’s servants. This finality is not seen in the political bargaining that characterizes our day.  Compromises are made, peace treaties are signed, and the peacemakers move to other danger spots; but the fighting still goes on.  Are we allowing our disillusionment with the world’s acclaimed peacemakers to influence our thinking on spiritual warfare?  Are we really convinced our call is to spiritual welfare and peace through victory?”
It’s almost as if he is asking, “are you acting like Obama with the things of God?”

Christian leaders need to examine themselves for this hypocrisy.   Ask yourself, “have I condemned Obama’s defeatist approach while practicing my own version of it?”
Another examination should center around outcomes.  If the intended goal of the “user friendly church” was to reduce hostility, then why—under their watch—has hostility towards Christians, and laws banning religious freedoms increased dramatically?
They didn’t hate us like this when we preached boldly.  It is possible they instinctively felt contempt for our compromise?  They respectfully disagreed back then, but are repulsed by us now.
Nowhere is this defeatism more glaring, than in the attitude of the church at large, towards prayer and revival.
They don’t really believe prayer and revival can change our world.  They don’t pray as if prayer had power to change society.  They don’t preach revival because they can’t imagine it happening to their people. They see their congregations as coddled masses not willing to pay the price for revival.
Trump shows us that peace through victory means calling someone’s bluff.  Trump did that to Iran when they threatened us with end of the world if we walked away from that hideous agreement Obama made.  It was all talk.
Christians leaders must learn to do that with Satan.  Call his bluff.  Tell him he’s the defeated one!  Behave like Jesus won on the Cross.  Christian leaders must do that with culture.  Call the bluff of all those experts who insist we must alter our message to change society.
Listen again to Arthur Matthews: “In any situation where Satan dominates and threatens, God looks for a man through whom he may declare war on the enemy.  He purposes that through this man Satan be served notice to back up, pack up, and clear out.”

Peace through victory calls the devil’s bluff on the biggest level.  It declares that the Earth can still be enveloped by a massive act of God.
By holding to a policy of peace through victory, Trump has already seen results no one could have imagined.  It is time for Christian leaders to repent of their defeatism and embrace the power of prayer to make tangible changes in the hearts of men and women and to impact world events.
Arthur Matthew said, “It is the man who prays who exercises supremacy even over international situations.  Men are going to have to acknowledge the peace will not be brought through politicians, but through the intercessor who has learned to wage spiritual warfare and wins peace over the principalities and powers in high places.”
P.S  Pray for our president.
