2016: OUR LAST YEAR AS A FREE NATION?

IS THISWill 2016 be our last year as a free nation?  Will Obama revoke the next election and declare himself president for life?   Is God using him to punish us for our sins?  Will cities go up in flames of racial war?  Are the voices who pronounce doom speaking the word of God?

What was the first thing Jesus said when asked about the end of the world?  Matthew 24: 3, 4 says, “Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”

Terrorism and the dictatorship of Obama are looming disasters.  But the threat of you being deceived–deceived by a false prophet is an equal disaster.   A tsunami of lies and human opinion—being pawned off as words from the Lord—is crashing into the church.   I am guessing that out of the current wave of “prophetic words” almost half are utterly false—generated by greed, anger, manipulation and arrogance.

The threat posed by false prophecy is greater than you know.  If you follow a false prophet you will experience misery beyond anything you could have thought possible.

Most of the readers of our blog are referred to us from Facebook.   In the last few days, Facebook has been a toxic waste dump site for every kind of half-baked, unscriptural prediction of 2016.   Without missing a beat—you will see juxtaposed—predictions of untold blessing and favor along with total doom.  We know that they both can’t be right.

So if you are ready for an honest-to-God conversation about 2016 then start by rejecting these two popular prophetic notions:

  1. America is blessed and no harm will come to her.
  2. America must be destroyed and there is nothing we can do about it.

No one in their right mind can possibly look at a holy God and tell him  we are incapable of being destroyed.   The nation of 70 million abortions—the leading exporter of porn—the nation that has erased God from every institution (including the church) cannot be destroyed?

We live in a cloud of misery and grief of our own making.   God did not pick Obama, Americans did.  The eyes of the average American are glazed over by despair and fatigue.  Our children feel old and have little or nothing to look forward to.   All of this is in direct proportion to our rejection of Christ.

Will Obama try to stay in office after 2017?  Of course he will.  The media will continue to  esteem him as president.  The liberal establishment has already proven they will follow him through the flames of perdition.  Obama thrives on setting aside the constitution and daring congress to stop him.

“But we will throw him out!”  I hear that a lot—but, if we were going to throw him out…wouldn’t we have done it after Benghazi and a thousand other impeachable offenses?

Obama has committed more crimes than all 43 previous presidents combined.   If the congress has not been able to impeach him after all of this…what makes you think they can force him out of office?

Yes, America can be destroyed.  Yes, this could very well be our last year as a free nation.

It is often said that you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.  The truth is that you knew what you had; you just never thought you would lose it.   Thinking we could never lose America is fastest way to lose America.

On the other hand…setting your hope on America’s destruction is insanity.  That Jehovah God has intervened—in American history when things look hopeless—is a centerpiece of our history.

I was just read again about the winter in Valley Forge where George Washington saw no way to hold the Continental army together.  His men were starving and freezing to death.  Farmers nearby wouldn’t feed the men who were fighting for their freedom.  The farmers could get a better price for their crop from the British.

And yet they did hold on and defeated the greatest military in the world.  In the depths of his despair Washington wrote to his friend about why he could hold the army together…He wrote  “ I knew that heaven was in our cause.”

Heaven is in the cause of every pastor who reads this and says “my church will host a true revival.”  Heaven is in the cause of every Christian who says “I will heed the warnings and obey the voice of God for there is yet one more miracle left for America.

The answer is clear:  2016 will not be our last year of freedom if the “people who know their God”  will truly humble themselves beneath the mighty hand of God.  He stands ready to release miracles beyond our comprehension…because heaven is in our cause.

George W. Bush Bashes Obama on Middle East

In a closed-door meeting with Jewish donors on Saturday night, former President George W. Bush delivered his harshest public criticisms to date against his successor on foreign policy, saying that President Barack Obama is being naïve about Iran and the pending nuclear deal and losing the war against the Islamic State.

One attendee at the Republican Jewish Coalition session, held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas with owner Sheldon Adelson in attendance, transcribed large portions of Bush’s remarks. The former president, who rarely ever criticizes Obama in public, at first remarked that the idea of re-entering the political arena was something he didn’t want to do. He then proceeded to explain why Obama, in his view, was placing the U.S. in “retreat” around the world. He also said Obama was misreading Iran’s intentions while relaxing sanctions on Tehran too easily.

According to the attendee’s transcription, Bush noted that Iran has a new president, Hassan Rouhani. “He’s smooth,” Bush said. “And you’ve got to ask yourself, is there a new policy or did they just change the spokesman?”

Bush said that Obama’s plan to lift sanctions on Iran with a promise that they could snap back in place at any time was not plausible. He also said the deal would be bad for American national security in the long term: “You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.”

Bush then went into a detailed criticism of Obama’s policies in fighting the Islamic State and dealing with the chaos in Iraq. On Obama’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops in Iraq at the end of 2011, he quoted Senator Lindsey Graham calling it a “strategic blunder.” Bush signed an agreement with the Iraqi government to withdraw those troops, but the idea had been to negotiate a new status of forces agreement to keep U.S. forces there past 2011. The Obama administration tried and failed to negotiate such an agreement.

Bush said he views the rise of the Islamic State as al-Qaeda’s “second act” and that they may have changed the name but that murdering innocents is still the favored tactic. He defended his own administration’s handling of terrorism, noting that the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who confessed to killing Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, was captured on his watch: “Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearl’s throat is in Gitmo, and now they’re doing it on TV.”

Obama promised to degrade and destroy Islamic State’s forces but then didn’t develop a strategy to complete the mission, Bush said. He said that if you have a military goal and you mean it, “you call in your military and say ‘What’s your plan?’ ” He indirectly touted his own decision to surge troops to Iraq in 2007, by saying, “When the plan wasn’t working in Iraq, we changed.”

“In order to be an effective president … when you say something you have to mean it,” he said. “You gotta kill em.”

Bush told several anecdotes about his old friend and rival Russian President Vladimir Putin. Bush recalled that Putin met his dog Barney at the White House and then later, when Bush went to Moscow, Putin showed him his dog and remarked that he was “bigger stronger and faster than Barney.” For Bush, that behavior showed him that Putin didn’t think in “win-win” terms.

Bush also remarked that Putin was rich, divorced his wife and loves power. Putin’s domestic popularity comes from his control of Russian media, according to Bush. “Hell, I’d be popular, too, if I owned NBC news,” he said.

Regarding his brother Jeb’s potential run for the presidency, Bush acknowledged that he was a political liability for Jeb, that the Bush name can be used against him, and that Americans don’t like dynasties. He also said that foreign policy is going to be especially important in the presidential campaign and that the test for Republicans running will be who has got the “courage” to resist isolationist tendencies.

Regarding Hillary Clinton, Bush said it will be crucial how she plays her relationship with the president. She will eventually have to choose between running on the Obama administration’s policies or running against them. If she defends them, she’s admitting failure, he said, but if she doesn’t she’s blaming the president.

For George W. Bush, the remarks in Vegas showed he has little respect for how the current president is running the world. He also revealed that he takes little responsibility for the policies that he put in place that contributed to the current state of affairs.

To remain a free nation we must deal with Benghazi

infamy copy

His handling of ISOL, Ebola, and our southern border all show a man unwilling to protect Americans.  It all stemmed from Benghazi.  Here he first crossed the line to permit Americans to die so he could be reelected.

Obama gave a graduation speech in which he told students that the idea that their government would be guilty of tyranny was absurd and that they had no reason to fear their government.   Now, he has given all us of the proof that we need that he acted with tyranny in sacrificing 4 Americans in Benghazi in order to protect his reelection.  The first question you must ask yourself is this…”what else is he willing to do to protect his power?”

He has vilified gun rights as we know them and has now become a poster child for why we need the Second Amendment.  He has shown us that in all prudence we must use our remaining rights to protect ourselves from him.

Jay Carney said that “Benghazi was a long time ago.”  Imagine how that sounded to the four families who lost loved ones in that embassy inferno?   He said that an independent council had reviewed the events in Benghazi and given them a clean bill of health.  The problem is they never spoke to the ranking diplomat in Benghazi who was most aware of all of the events.

Where was Obama during those eight hours of attack?  Why were rescuers told to stand down?  How could they blame the attack on an anti-Muslim video for two weeks after they had proof it had nothing to do with the terrorist attack?  How could they threaten and excoriate those brave leaders who tried to talk to congress?

Hillary Clinton is equally guilty of lying and covering up the truth.  She is not fit to lead this nation and has given us fair warning that her presidency would be more of the same cronyism, duplicity, arrogance and incompetence of the current administration.

AIR FORCE GENERAL CRITICIZES LACK OF MILITARY RESPONSE TO BENGHAZI ATTACK

Retired Air Force Brigadier General Robert Lovell testified today that the military should have done more to try to help the Americans who were under attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. At the time of the attack, Lovell was the deputy director for intelligence at Africa Command.

Lovell told the House Oversight Committee:

Many with firsthand knowledge have recounted the heroism displayed by the brave Americans in Benghazi that night. They fought the way they trained. That is in the record.

Outside of Libya there were discussions that churned on about what we should do. These elements also fought the way they were trained. Specifically, the predisposition to interagency influence had the military structure—in the spirit of expeditionary government support—waiting for a request for assistance from the State Department.

There are accounts of time, space and capability discussions of the question, could we have gotten there in time to make a difference. Well, the discussion is not in the “could or could not” in relation to time, space and capability—the point is we should have tried. As another saying goes: “Always move to the sound of the guns.”

It is with a sense of duty as a retired General officer that I respectfully submit these thoughts and perspectives.

There seems, then, to be no getting around the fact that Hillary Clinton and/or President Obama failed to respond properly to a deadly attack in which four Americans were killed. Either they were grossly incompetent or criminally cynical. In the interest of accountability, we should find out which was the case.

Your blood should be boiling over Benghazi.  If it is not, then you are probably the victim of the other heinous villain of Benghazi: The American Media.  Their breathtaking betrayal will also live in infamy.  How can the Washington Press Corps live with their cowardice and compromise?

How is it possible for them to lay claim to the noble profession that tediously and relentlessly tracked down the crimes of Watergate when they are acting like belching lap dogs for Obama.  They refuse to face facts; they refuse to ask the hard questions.  They will do whatever they have to do to insulate a man that has shown nothing but contempt for them!

What makes you want to pull your hair out is that we do not know why.  Why Obama is allowed a pass for these crimes?  Now is the time for a groundswell of outrage from the general public!

You and I can no longer say that we did not know what this president did with our rights.  We cannot say Obama kept it from us. Benghazi is our national litmus test to see if we deserve to remain a free nation.  If we fail to find the rage, the love of liberty and the clear sense of how wrong Benghazi is, then we declaring ourselves unworthy of freedom.

James Woods on Obama: He’s the ‘gift from hell’

James Woods on Obama: He’s the ‘gift from hell’

It’s a safe bet there’s no love lost between Hollywood actor James Woods and President Obama — the former has taken to Twitter several times over the last few months to trash the policies and politics of the latter.

The latest came this week, in response to a report from British press that revealed the National Security Agency commonly provides Israel with intelligence data — without first stripping out private and personal information on American citizens. The Guardian in London reported the item, the latest in its coverage of document leaks from Edward Snowden.

Mr. Woods unleashed his views of the matter — and of Mr. Obama’s role in allowing the practice to occur — on Twitter.

He wrote: “Report: Data on Americans shared with Israel … Obama: the gift from hell that keeps on giving.”

This is hardly the first unfavorable rating Mr. Woods has posted on his Twitter account about Mr. Obama. In July, the actor ranted over Mr. Obama’s insertion of his personal opinion into the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin trial, characterizing it as fueling racial tensions and wondering why the president would speak his mind about the death of the 17-year-old Trayvon but not worry so much about American’s soldiers and wounded warriors.

Jimmy Carter’s ghost stalks Obama White House

Vague terrorist threats shutting down nineteen of our embassies, Russian strongman Putin thumbing his nose at President Obama, Iran jerking our chain – the U.S. hasn’t looked this cowardly on the world stage since the Jimmy Carter administration.

Here at home, too, we’ve gone back to the Carter future; unemployment is high, Keynesian economics are all the rage, our professorial president is increasingly whiny and ineffectual; all that’s missing is a cardigan sweater and that infernal violin.

Our recent contre-temps with Russia is a throw-back to the weak-kneed Carter era.   President Vladimir Putin has granted temporary asylum to NSA leaker and fugitive Edward Snowden, despite frantic efforts by the White House to take the traitor into custody.

Mr. Obama is said to be livid; after all, he has pursued a chummy relationship with Putin for years.

The similarities between Obama and Carter are not confined to foreign fiascos.

At one point his eagerness translated into a seeming breach of faith with his own country, when he was caught on tape promising Putin (via his former number two Dmitri Medvedev) even greater accommodation on missile defense once reelected.  Apparently the numerous earlier rebuffs from the Russian bully – on Iran, on missile defense, on Syria etc. — made no impression; Obama is ever hopeful.

Jimmy Carter was also unprepared to deal with Russia. NATO allies, worried about the Soviet deployment of longer-range, more capable SS-20 missiles in Europe beginning in 1976, pushed Carter to counter with U.S. cruise and Pershing missiles, to maintain strategic parity.

When Carter and Brezhnev met to sign Salt II, Carter whiffed; not only did he fail to win any agreement on the SS-20s, he never even broached the NATO demands.

Helmut Schmidt, who had spearheaded the strategy, was furious. Later, he described Jimmy Carter’s profound ignorance (and improbable optimism) about the Soviet Union: “He wasn’t aware that the Russians don’t know and never have known citizen’s rights,” the former German chancellor wrote.

In 1980, President Carter asked the Senate to discontinue consideration of the Salt II treaty in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, a stunning rebuke to U.S. interests. The same year, he ordered a boycott of the Moscow Olympics.

Both Carter and Obama came to office convinced that by dint of righteousness or personality they could win over our enemies. That it was just a matter of persuasion.

President George W. Bush is widely scorned these days for attempting to export democracy to the peoples of other lands; Mr. Obama, like Carter before him, has sought kindness and justice from the likes of Hugo Chavez and Bashar-Al-Assad.  Which is more naïve?

Naivete is costly. Both the Carter and Obama administrations have been distinguished by the rare murder of an ambassador.

Even before the Iran hostage crisis that came to symbolize the failures of his presidency, Jimmy Carter was “shocked and saddened” when the Russians, along with Afghan security forces, killed Adolph Dubs, the U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan.

On Obama’s watch, of course, we lost Christopher Stevens, ambassador to Libya and three others; the president called it a “shocking attack.”

In both cases, critics charged the White House with incompetence and carelessness for not protecting our own.

Iran has proved a testing ground for both Carter and Obama, as the despots leading that country took the measure of U.S. leadership and found it wanting.

Under Carter, Iran took 52 U.S. citizens hostage in one of our country’s most humiliating chapters.

More recently, Iran’s former president Ahmadinejad has continued to publicly spurn Obama’s efforts to rein in that country’s nuclear ambitions, at times driving a wedge between the U.S. and ally Israel.

Obama’s lack of response to the mass slaughter in Syria and scrambled interactions with Egypt harks back to Carter’s impotence in the face of the 1979 OPEC oil embargo.

In Egypt today, the United States is ignored by both Islamist supporters of now-deposed President Morsi and also by the military; we are blamed by both sides for the chaos in that country. That’s quite an accomplishment, given the enormous aid we have ladled out to Egypt for decades. Unimaginably, it is EU foreign policy chief Cathy Ashton who is attempting to mediate between the two factions.

The parallels between the Carter and Obama presidencies are not accidental. Both men were elected in what amounted to a national rejection of their predecessors.

Neither candidate had any significant executive experience or foreign policy chops.

Carter ran on being an honest man – not Tricky Dick Nixon. Obama ran on being likeable and eager to unite the country – not arrogant and divisive George W. Bush.

Both men promised change, and fulfilled that promise. Unhappily, they did not always deliver change for the better.

The similarities between Obama and Carter are not confined to foreign fiascos.

Domestically, both have struggled to ignite growth and lower unemployment; both have clung to a profound belief in the powers of deficit spending and efficacy of federal meddling.

Faced with soaring inflation, Carter imposed price controls that caused rampant confusion and slowed growth; he also introduced gasoline rationing that led the country to quite literally run out of gas.

The same urge to tinker bedevils Obama, who cannot understand why consumers do not line up to buy the electric cars that he has required Detroit to manufacture, or why bankrolling uncompetitive “green” energy companies are bets that go bad.

Instead of searching for private market resolutions to problems like soaring medical costs, Obama chose to funnel even more of the economy through the federal spigot. Who today believes that ObamaCare is the best possible answer to reining in the cost of healthcare?

One of the few divides between the Obama presidency and that of Jimmy Carter is that Mr. Obama won reelection. Pity.

There should not be one drop of support left for Obama from the American Church.

obama_angry_2012_8_6

There should not be one drop of support left for Obama from the American Church.

By Mario Murillo

There should not be one drop of support left for Obama from the American Church.  In fact, it is spiritually dangerous to you to still be stuck in the middle.  Drop the pseudo-spirituality and realize that this is longer about politics, it is about the survival of the United States.

The Arab world is blowing up.  Al Qaeda is at the door of at least 12 of our embassies.  Obama by golfing, schmoozing with Hollywood, joy riding on Air Force One and giving divisive, gas bloated speeches has frittered away our children’s future.  He has lost 9 million jobs.  He has attacked marriage, church, morality, capitalism and the constitution.  He wants babies to die from abortion even until right before they are born. He has violated the constitution and used government agencies to silence his enemies. The news media as his shameful coconspirator granting him quarter from all accountability.  Worst of all, he rammed legislation through that will bankrupt the nation: Obamacare is not just bad it is terminal.

Left there to die

Because of all these things and the fact that Obama is digging in for more of the same he has achieved a new status:  He cannot be supported by the American Church, not one drop of support.  We should be in unanimous opposition.

Here is what the Bible says:

“Proverbs 29:24 “Whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.  25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.”

The line was crossed when Obama referred to his long list of scandals as phony.   Look at me reader:  Fort Hood, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS, and the NSA, are all phony scandals.   What do every one of these scandals have in common?  They are all scandals that Obama vowed to get to the bottom of.

IRS: Here are his own words about “It’s inexcusable and Americans have a right to be angry about it — and I’m angry about it,” Obama said “The fact of the matter is the IRS has to operate with absolute integrity.” He vowed to get to the bottom of it.  The FBI has yet to speak to any of the Tea Party victims of the IRS.  Obama is stonewalling because the IRS became a weapon for his reelection.

Benghazi: Six months after 4 Americans were tortured and murdered in Benghazi we have not captured a single suspect nor do we know what Obama was doing for 8 hours during the attack.   Remember how much of his actions he wanted us to see during the attack on Osama Bin Laden?

It turns out that CNN interviewed one of the suspects in Benghazi for 2 hours.  He admitted that not one American agency nor the Libyan Government had tried to talk to him.

Remember Obama’s vow on Benghazi?  “But make no mistake: we will get to the bottom of this, we will find out who did this, we’ll find out why they did this.  Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice.”

The Bible describes him in vivid detail: “He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.”

Time to ask yourself if by your support or neutrality you are the partner of a thief.  Time for you to consider the trap you may be in:  “The fear of man is a snare.”

billy

People are constantly asking me “what can we do about this?”  I can’t believe that anyone can’t see what we must do!    It is time for the Christian men of God to put on their big boy pants and realize that we must all speak against this evil cloud over the nation.   We cannot be black, white brown or yellow.  We cannot be liberal of conservative.  We cannot be left or right wing and there is not exemption in time of war.

If the church spoke with one voice right now we could stop the madness within a few months.  It should be convicting to us all that Billy Graham as weak and as frail as he is in his 90s is still going to drag his body behind a pulpit and issue a warning to the nation!

big boy pants

If he is willing to do that then how much more it is time for all of you Christian men of God to put on your big boy pants and speak out against this evil cloud over the nation?

If you are silent because you fear danger then wake up!  The only safety now is to get on the Lord’s side!  “The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.”
