Trump didn’t make the world more dangerous…Obama did. Here’s why it matters.

Critics falsely accuse Trump of making the world more dangerous.  The truth is, it was Obama—with his foreign policy of weakness and capitulation—that intensified international tensions.
Obama continually gave things away, getting nothing in return but contempt for America.
Trump on the other hand—by refusing to accept anything but victory—defused the danger level of the world.
He brought North Korea and South Korea together!  Yes, there is much to iron out with N.K. but there is no doubt that our president moved the situation further than all of his predecessors.   And, Trump offered nothing to North Korea.
Obama’s weak approach is the bane of liberal thinking.  Underneath, is the belief that victory is not possible. The best they can hope for is a tenuous treaty.  Nothing is settled.  The undercurrent of defeatism ran through all his policies…he found a half-cure for everything.
Tragically, the church learned Obama’s way of making things more dangerous.  The trend in church is to get people to like us better.   Ironically, it only made them hate us more.
Arthur Matthews was an amazing man.  Decades before American Pastors began imitating Obama apology tours, Matthew saw it coming:
“Old Testament examples of prayer at work portray most dramatically for us the believer’s authority over all the power of God’s enemies.  There is a finality that will not be gainsaid in the way the superior strength of alien armies is disposed of as God’s servants. This finality is not seen in the political bargaining that characterizes our day.  Compromises are made, peace treaties are signed, and the peacemakers move to other danger spots; but the fighting still goes on.  Are we allowing our disillusionment with the world’s acclaimed peacemakers to influence our thinking on spiritual warfare?  Are we really convinced our call is to spiritual welfare and peace through victory?”
It’s almost as if he is asking, “are you acting like Obama with the things of God?”

Christian leaders need to examine themselves for this hypocrisy.   Ask yourself, “have I condemned Obama’s defeatist approach while practicing my own version of it?”
Another examination should center around outcomes.  If the intended goal of the “user friendly church” was to reduce hostility, then why—under their watch—has hostility towards Christians, and laws banning religious freedoms increased dramatically?
They didn’t hate us like this when we preached boldly.  It is possible they instinctively felt contempt for our compromise?  They respectfully disagreed back then, but are repulsed by us now.
Nowhere is this defeatism more glaring, than in the attitude of the church at large, towards prayer and revival.
They don’t really believe prayer and revival can change our world.  They don’t pray as if prayer had power to change society.  They don’t preach revival because they can’t imagine it happening to their people. They see their congregations as coddled masses not willing to pay the price for revival.
Trump shows us that peace through victory means calling someone’s bluff.  Trump did that to Iran when they threatened us with end of the world if we walked away from that hideous agreement Obama made.  It was all talk.
Christians leaders must learn to do that with Satan.  Call his bluff.  Tell him he’s the defeated one!  Behave like Jesus won on the Cross.  Christian leaders must do that with culture.  Call the bluff of all those experts who insist we must alter our message to change society.
Listen again to Arthur Matthews: “In any situation where Satan dominates and threatens, God looks for a man through whom he may declare war on the enemy.  He purposes that through this man Satan be served notice to back up, pack up, and clear out.”

Peace through victory calls the devil’s bluff on the biggest level.  It declares that the Earth can still be enveloped by a massive act of God.
By holding to a policy of peace through victory, Trump has already seen results no one could have imagined.  It is time for Christian leaders to repent of their defeatism and embrace the power of prayer to make tangible changes in the hearts of men and women and to impact world events.
Arthur Matthew said, “It is the man who prays who exercises supremacy even over international situations.  Men are going to have to acknowledge the peace will not be brought through politicians, but through the intercessor who has learned to wage spiritual warfare and wins peace over the principalities and powers in high places.”
P.S  Pray for our president.

PUT AWAY YOUR TOYS AND TAKE UP THE MIGHTY WEAPONS OF GOD

Future generations of Christians—if there be any—will be profoundly baffled by us.  They will ask why—why did we let trivial and foolish matters eat up so much time?  They will agonize over our shallowness.  They will cringe at our amusements.

But above all, they will be horrified that we played all these foolish games against the backdrop of madness and perversion.  In a time of raging wickedness—while we still had the chance—why didn’t we rise in the power of the Holy Spirit?  Why didn’t we deliver an effective challenge to the lies, addictions, and brainwashing of our time?

Not everyone can bear what I am about to say.  The fair-weather Christian and the make believer will shrink before the high calling I am about to describe.  But those who heed this call, and awaken to do their duty, deserve the love and thanks of every true child of God in America.

Paul said, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” -1 Corinthians 13:11

It is childish to linger in stupefying religious echo chambers.  It is childish to mingle with delicate, debilitated, and depleted believers.  It is childish to hide behind the towering lie that our God is unable to build mighty warriors.

I am looking you right in the eye, with a long and steady gaze.  I am mustering all the conviction in my soul.  I am begging you…PUT AWAY YOUR TOYS AND TAKE UP THE MIGHTY WEAPONS OF GOD.

Tyranny, like hell will not loosen its grip easily.  But you have this great comfort—the greater the conflict the more glorious the final victory.  You will be granted the honor and thrill of front line participation in the greatest thing God has ever done in the earth.

It is time to pay the price.  Things gotten cheaply are lightly esteemed.  The gold you seek is worth every drop of sweat—every mournful tear—every sacrifice.

Satan trembles at your advance to this higher calling.  Evil quakes at your deliverance from compromise and cowardice.  Hell asks “will they actually take up their rightful weapons and do us great harm?   Let your soul roar an eternal YES!

What can we do about the demons that are strangling America?  Can we dismantle their ramparts?  They have brought bitter division, mass addiction, and total deception.  Can we stop them?  Not only can we, it is our sworn duty to tear them down.

The Bible says “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…2 Corinthians 10:4,5

If we can’t tear down strongholds, God is guilty of child abuse of the highest order.  If our weapons are not mighty, He is guilty of letting Paul awaken a deep hope that can never be fulfilled.  The whole point of 2 Corinthians 10: 4 and 5 was to provoke the church to destroy fortresses of Satan by taking up the mighty weapons of God.

The Bible says, “cast down every high thing.”  The traitorous preaching and teaching of today says there is very little we can do.  So many preachers today remind us, “it’s all in God’s hands.” That may seem a comforting thought, but it is wrong—it creates passivity.  Everywhere you look in the Bible it is against passivity and advocates action: “fight the good fight of faith…” “Endure hardness as a good soldier…” “Resist the devil…” “Take the sword of the Spirit…”

God has chosen to act in answer to prayer.  He waits until His people rise and take their rightful place in the arena of battle.  Young David saw the stalemate.  No one challenged Goliath.  David couldn’t stand it. He offered himself to God.

God is looking for someone like that today—someone who can’t live with evil, who can’t stomach the perversion, and is enraged to see God dishonored.  Someone God can use to turn the tide of America.

If there is one question this blog asks it is this:  Are you so filled with holy rage that you are willing to lay down every impediment to provide God with an opportunity to vindicate His name before this blasphemous generation?  Will you put away your toys?

Here is your great promise: When God sees you take up the mighty weapons of God—in the Name of Jesus—and attempt the impossible—God will muster all the resources of heaven to bring you total victory.

HOW SHALL WE THEN PREACH?

Are you preaching to what your people actually face? Are you awake to the fact that they are under intense persecution?   The left has morphed into a hideous mob.  How shall we then preach in this unprecedented era of darkness?

Liberals want a New American Civil War. When they tell us they want to silence the church—when they tell us their opinion is the only one allowed—when disagreeing will cost you your rights, your job, and even your life—when they burn buildings, protect killers, and convict innocent people—the church should have no response?  Do we sit back and just give away our freedom of religion and speech?

Having faced with brutal honesty the world of our congregants…how shall we then preach?

There is a story of tyranny in 1 Samuel 11 that answers the question.  Terrorists took control of a city and demanded that the entire city become slaves or face death.  It gets worse.  Just to stay alive every man, woman, and child had to agree to have their right eye removed.

The elders of the city begged for them to hold off 7 days so they could send messengers to get help.  Since the terrorists were spoiling for a fight they agreed.

1 Samuel 11:3 is one of the most chilling verses in scripture because it shows the unimaginable horror the people felt: “Then the elders of Jabesh said to him, ‘Hold off for seven days, that we may send messengers to all the territory of Israel.  And then, if there is no one to save us, we will come out to you.’”

Put yourself in the place of those men facing the disfigurement of their wives and children.  If you were one of those elders tasked with choosing messengers—what kind of messengers would you choose?  Who would you choose to go get help?

You would not pick smooth talking salesmen.  You would not want a wordsmith or an entertainer.  You dare not send a psychologist or a life coach.

They had to go get an army.  They had to make people cry and get angry.  They had to convince people—who might believe this was not their fight—to take a stand.  That is what we need in pulpits now!

The Bible says they went to Gibeah where King Saul was, and everyone who heard them began to weep.  King Saul was filled with holy rage and galvanized the nation to save the people of Jabesh Gilead in a mighty victory.

Who will save us from the disfigurement of America, and the church, by the left?  What kind of preaching shall we choose to loosen the grip of tyranny and regain our freedom?  The same kind of messengers the elders of Jabesh Gilead choose.

Much of the preaching today is of human origin.  It makes the church lifeless and impotent to do battle against the moral landslide in America.  Satan is behind this harmless preaching—preaching that will save no one.

E.M Bounds said, “Another scheme of Satan is to eliminate from the church all the humble, self-denying ordinances that are offensive to unsanctified tastes and unregenerate hearts. He seeks to reduce the church to a mere human institution—popular, natural, fleshly, and pleasing.”
The Holy Spirit is telling you my fellow preacher to face the real world.  He is sending out an urgent appeal: Preach as if they are stealing your country…because they are.  Preach as if your people are suffering under persecution because they are.  Preach as if God is able to make you not just a spokesman but a living weapon.  If you have the heart…God will give you the words.  Time is running out.

What does God do when a nation tries to silence His Church?

If I listed everything the church could say ten years ago that she can’t say today—you would be horrified.  Without a miracle, your children and grandchildren will have to survive in a world that will totally ban their faith—even scarier, they’ll do it without you.

It is hard to convince many Christians that they are losing their freedom of speech and religion.  They either don’t believe it is happening, or they chalk it off to politics.  But the erosion of liberty is not only real…it is the greatest threat American Christians have ever faced.

The doctrines of our faith that offend are the Cross, the Blood of Jesus, hell, sexual purity, and marriage.  They are already being omitted by preachers who feel the heat.  They’ll tell you it’s to reach a bigger audience—trust me, it’s the heat.

What can we do to stop the church from being driven underground?   No vessel of God can seriously entertain the idea that we should stop preaching these truths.  That can’t be the answer.  What then, can we do to reverse this pernicious loss of liberty?

The better question is what does God do when a nation tries to silence His church?  The answer came to me suddenly.   Hear me out, it is not what you think.  It is way beyond petitions, or elections.  The revelation I am about to relate to you, struck me with paralyzing clarity. I am amazed I never saw it before.

However, nothing I am about to say will help you—not one point I make will have its intended impact unless you have a heart for it.  If you are still in denial about what is happening, I can’t help you—this message can’t help you.  If you think I am dispensing alarmist extremism, then you are just another part of the threat.

But, if you want to hear God’s heart on this crisis—if you hunger for more than half-answers, then you have come to the right place.  You can ask the Holy Spirit the most important question you could ever ask: What do You do when a nation tries to silence your church? Here it comes.

When the leaders of Jerusalem arrested Peter, they didn’t know what to charge him with or how to punish him.  They knew they had to silence the church.  There was no doubt about their intention.  They were prepared to do anything to stop the Gospel.  So what was stopping them?  Answer that, and you get the exact marching orders we need today.

What was hindering them was the man who came with Peter and John.  This is the crippled beggar at the gate beautiful.  This was no ordinary miracle.  He occupied the most visible and lucrative begging station in Jerusalem.  Everyone knew him.  Word of his miracle filled the city.  A mad chorus of praise was rising over the eternal city.

Their deep consternation is vividly described in these verses: Acts 4: 14 “And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. 15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, 16 saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.”

Their profound dilemma is not lost of Peter.  He is seeing the divine solution to government censorship.  He has clearly settled on a course of action—the action we need to take today.  He leaves, armed with critical information.

He gathers the people of God and orders them to pray.  He is about to pray a prayer that is the precise model for our crisis—our threat.  Remember that word threat.

Remember I told you that nothing good can come to you from my message unless you see how urgent the hour has become.  Peter began his prayer by calling the situation a threat.  We must also do this.  He prayed:

Acts 4:29 “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.”

Peter is showing us that boldness is essential.  Only boldness will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Not only this, he is forever settling the question of preaching.  Preaching must not leave anything out.  It is by sharing it all, that the church is protected, and able to continue her work.

Next, he is admitting that the vehicle for that boldness is signs and wonders.  God must stretch His hand over an angry culture and perform supernatural healings and overrule the agenda of man.  Such is the case today.  But look at how God answered:

Acts 4: 31 “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”  Not only were they filled with the Holy Spirit and boldness, but God answered their prayer for miracles.  In the next chapter, the very shadow of Peter was healing the masses.

Ignore those who aren’t willing.  Set the time and place to go to homes, houses of worship, schools, offices—anywhere where true prayer can be raised to God.  Prove this promise and see…the Spirit will fall; you will gain a tongue of fire…miracles will come.  I am not talking about self-absorbed emotional light touches.  I am talking about undeniable, medically verified, city shaking, divine healings.

And you will see that now, as in that day, no law, no argument, and no politician will be able to silence the church.

A Christian student does not lose their Constitutional rights when they walk on campus. By Mario Murillo

Mentioning God or giving Jesus credit for one’s success in a graduation speech does not violate the establishment clause.  However, banning such speech clearly violates the constitution.  Enough is enough!  It is time to pay the price to end this madness.
It is insane that one or two people who claim to be offended can ban words from a speech.   It is crazy that Christian clubs are forced to either disband or elect non-Christian officers.  Someone’s hare-brained idea of “inclusivity” does not overrule the Bill of Rights.
But it is crazier than that.  Campuses are drowning in double standards.  Atheist clubs are not forced to elect Christian officers.  And do you think for one moment a speech would be banned or a club ostracized if Christian students claimed to be offended?
The fact is, the overwhelming majority of speech and practice restrictions target Christians and conservatives.  Even illegal immigrants have more rights on campus.
However, the most mind-boggling thing are the excuses Christian leaders use to justify their silence and inaction against something that is punishing the children in their congregations.

Timid leaders claim lawsuits would be a bad witness.

If defending your civil rights is a bad witness, then Paul the Apostle was the worst.  Look carefully at these verses:
Acts 16: 37 But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out.”  38 And the officers told these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans. 39 Then they came and pleaded with them and brought them out, and asked them to depart from the city.
Paul understood that these men were wrong and they needed to know they were wrong.  Isn’t that precisely what Gospel preaching should do?  Moreover, Paul knew the welfare of the Philippian church was involved.  Pastors need to have the heart of Paul for the modern church.
We also need to understand that such bold confrontation is not only right—it is necessary.  School administrators need to feel the heat of their illegal actions—that heat needs to be hotter than the hissy fits of a few atheists and God haters.
Not only this, but I am convinced God wants us to take up this cause.  Detrick Bonhoeffer said “silence in the face of evil, is itself evil.”

The final excuse is the money.  How can we afford this?

Legal fees for such massive action will be exorbitant.  This is a hair-pulling excuse.  Parents are shelling out over $50,000 a year on tuition.  Multiply that times the number of Christian students are on campus and legal fees are a drop in the bucket.
And what about faith in our awesome heavenly Father?  He will supply all of our needs!
Besides, all we need are key victories that set precedents in the courts.
The real question is not what is the cost of taking action…the question is what is the cost of remaining silent?

THE SECRET TO WHY THEY HATE HIM

Except for a few Republicans with convictions, there really is no difference between Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

You saw Republicans pass an obscene budget—fully funding Planned Parenthood.  They gave Democrats almost everything they wanted, punishing Trump in the process. There are Republicans in the deep state.  And the deep state is not so deep.

Washington looks like there are two distinct world views colliding.  But conservative and liberal are mostly labels for show.  There is something deeper going one here.

Why is Trump so hated by both parties?  They don’t hate him because of Stormy Daniels, or because they think he is a racist, or because of his tweets.  It is a much darker motivation.

God used my devotions and reading of John 11—the story of Lazarus—to fully open my eyes.  When this understanding came to me, my burden for our president intensified.  I knew I had to write this to you so that we could agree together for his safety and for this evil to be exposed.

See if you see anything illuminating in these verses:

John 11: 45 Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. 46 But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did. 47 Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? For this Man works many signs. 48 If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”  Do you see it?

Notice this phrase: “the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”  Their first concern was for their place, not the nation.  That is exactly what is happening in Washington.  They are more concerned about keeping their place than helping the nation.

That dear friend, is what both Democrats and Republicans are doing—they are fighting to keep their place.  Not just in Congress but at the FBI, IRS and many other power centers.  All of these groups wanted Hillary to win, because she was the queen of the swamp.

Right now you have the proof.  Jeff Sessions has the power to end the witch hunt against Trump but he won’t.  Mueller’s abuse of power could be called into account but he won’t be.  Hillary should be in jail.  Obama and his cohorts should be indicted.  None of it happens because the politicians must keep their place.

Trump wants to do what works and what is best for America regardless of what side it offends and threatens.  It’s called pragmatism.  What enrages them is that it’s working.  He is winning, and winning, and they are sick of his winning.

Once upon a time, a famous preacher and a famous atheist agreed to hold debates across the country.  They didn’t tell the audience it was just a money making scheme.  They publicly attacked each—took offerings for their causes—and at the end of the night they split the take.  That is also what is happening in Washington.

-Barack Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize for no reason.  Now Trump has brought North and South Korea together.  Do you think he will get the Nobel Prize for brokering the most amazing peace since Teddy Roosevelt?  Never.  Not even his own party will campaign for that.

Unemployment is at 3.9%.  It is the lowest among blacks and Latinos in recent memory.  His approval among likely voters is 51%.  Do you think Trump will be praised?  Never.

If you as a Christian can’t see the victories Trump is handing the church to have our voices heard, then you are blind.  The next miracle is to get our government back and and see true revival.  Trump is a bridge to all of that.  The hand of God is upon him.

It is time to bombard heaven for the deep state to be exposed.  We need to seek God like never before for special protection on Trump, Melania, the children, and the faithful few left in our government.  Ask big. Ask now

Ephesians 3: 20  “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Burning down our house

I don’t mention any names in this blog.  I wanted you to see—if you get to see—how extreme things have gotten.  Censorship is no longer just about what you say, it is about what they think you are saying.  Soon they will censor what they think you are thinking.  Consider yourself fortunate if this information is not blocked—or if you got to it before it was.
I am about to talk to you villains who are burning down our house.  They are using lies and bankrupt ideas to set their fires.  I will use another vehicle that is new to me: I am going to direct this blog directly to the guilty.  I am going to rebuke them.  You may think that is unloving…maybe even unchristian.  That hits on why we have lost so many moral battles.
To win them—we were told—we must be nice.  We couldn’t have been nicer.  We didn’t win them.  In fact, our niceness made them hate us more.  Love sometimes delivers a “thanks I needed that” message.  Occasionally, the truth should hurt…especially when a nation is at stake.
Wicked people have torched the truth and it’s your children’s future that’s on fire.  It’s time you realized that something truly dark is looming on the horizon.
Is there hope?  There is great hope.  In fact, it was at a low ebb of faith like this that the Jesus movement exploded.
–Mario Murillo

BURNING DOWN OUR HOUSE

You doused America with flammable lies.  Every room, every stairway, every doorway soaked in combustible falsehoods.  Then you struck the match.  Now the house is burning down.  A five-alarm fire.
Like crazed villagers, you scream “it is for the greater good” as you torch everything in your path.  History chases you pleading: “this has never worked, and it will never work.”  But do you listen?  Reason hunts you down and cries, “you will make the world worse than it was before.” But it doesn’t matter.

You’ll will enforce truth by lying?  You’ll conquer hate with what, new hate?
You’re attacking evil?  Please explain:  After you tell every lie, break every law—and evil not only survives but turns back on you—what truth or law will be left to protect you?  What love, justice, and mercy will be left to build that better world?
I hear some teens declare, “My parents are idiots so ban all the guns.”  Or, “if I can get an AR 15, what’s to stop me from getting a nuclear weapon?”  The entire military maybe?  All this money and attention is being thrown at you because you’re a pawn.  To them you’re no timeless warrior.  To them you’re the flavor of the month.  To them you’re 15 minutes are almost up.
Then there’s the older protesters. The revolution is going to usher in the better world?  Your claim to be “woke” feels more like a joke.  You are flush with hate.  Will you magically be fair—with justice for all—once you have the power?  Face it, you don’t want to end oppression.  You want to be the new oppressor.
You scream “by any means necessary!”  But do you know what is necessary?  Truth, justice, equality, and prosperity come from God—from honoring His Word.  We’ve reaffirmed it for thousands of years.  The only time it has ever gone right for America is when we’ve honored these self-evident truths.  But, does history matter to a mind high on mythical ideology or pot?
You claim science is on your side.  But it is science that refutes you. It is science that knows you falsified your research on gender, weather, and so many things in order to sell your agenda.
Insanity is when you keep doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a new result.  Hate is when you keep the same thing over and over again—even though you know it doesn’t work—because it hurts the right people.
You see nothing wrong with censorship.  You’re fine with rioters shutting down free speech.  You’re okay with sanitizing a religion of hate and twisting the golden words of the Carpenter of Nazareth into hate.
Then there are the sophisticated arsonists.  Governors, special counsels, media CEOs, late night comedians, Senators, all spouting the party line in robotic unison.  You spew the same mantras.  You claim the same sanctimonious ramparts.
“We must make America like California!”  Have you tried to educate a Christian child there?  Have you tried to run a small business there?  Have you tried to eat, sleep, breathe, or find shelter there?  Have you tried to get over the murder of your son, or daughter by someone who wasn’t supposed to be there?  Why would you wish California on the rest of America?

Next is the fire starter who got fired and decided to write a book.  It’s no revelation, it’s a pouty, whiny, rag filled with self-congratulation, half-truths and hate.  A thousand chimps on a thousand typewriters given eons of time could not create such a tower of self-pity and victimhood.
Then there’s you—the sore loser playing with matches.  The crashing bore who stayed at the party too long.  You would rather contaminate the narrative with your delusional entitlement, than let the nation move on.
Finally, there’s the arsonist who couldn’t leave power gracefully.  You were afforded the highest honor and you turned it into a tool to dismantle a nation.  You’re the angry tenant who trashes the apartment.  Only you go one better…you leave toadies in governmental sleeper cells to do your bidding.  You started all the fires you could to keep bringing down the nation.
To all of you comes a solemn warning.  America is not just a country.  There’s something deep in our soil. Something too deep for a Marxist to understand.  And if your hopes and dreams rest in bringing this nation down you just might end up fighting God Himself.  There are millions of people praying at this hour.  They don’t want your brand of country.  They don’t want angry values and hollow promises.  They want freedom.  They fear the Lord…and He watches over them.  You are trying to burn down our house just remember, its not just our house…it’s His.
