Was the Midterm Election victory a sign of America turning back to God?

Was the Midterm Election victory a sign of America turning back to God?

I am not blindly Republican but I am wide-eyed anti-Democrat.  This is because the policies of the Democratic Party are not policies at all, they are drugs.  Today, they are drug dealers who sell addiction to government.

Like all crafty dealers they offer the drug for free until you addicted, and while you are high, they say “don’t worry about how we are going to pay for all of this.”

The payment comes in the destruction of the family and neighborhood.  On August 6, 1945 Detroit was a gleaming city and Hiroshima was utter ruins from the atomic bomb.  Today Hiroshima is a gleaming city and Detroit is utter ruins from the effect of a slow burning bomb of government dependency.

Secular progressives, like any other Ponzi scheme, must have a constant flow of new customers.  That is why they opened the border to try to create more addicts.

Government addiction is nothing new; it has ruined several empires.   Benjamin Franklin saw it as the death knell of America.  He said, “When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.”

I have tried to understand why Obama would pursue policies that history and common sense show are doomed to failure and in fact they are failing spectacularly right now.   The answer is simple:  He wants to stay in power.

For the last two years I carried a secret dread that I would not even share with my wife…only God.  Obama was reelected.  Just saying that boggled my mind.  How could such a train wreck of a failure be allowed 4 more years?  My answer was simple: a corrupt campaign to addicted voters.

We had every reason to believe that our democracy went away two years ago.  There, displayed before our eyes was proof that we would accept unlimited bungling in exchange for our narcotic of choice.

This is why the midterm election is some kind of miracle.  It is almost like the neighborhood rose up and said I want to go through cold turkey, and told the drug lord “I am going to break my addiction to you!”

Jesus said in ‘Matthew 11:17, ‘We played the flute for you, And you did not dance; We mourned to you, And you did not lament.’  This is why you see that look of shock and disgust on the faces of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, because they are saying “We played ‘War on Women’ and you did not dance, and we played ‘white racist America’ and you did not mourn.”

After seven years of drought Elijah went to the mountain and prayed.  When he saw a cloud the size of a man’s fist and declared “there is the sound of the abundance of rain.”

To those around him who had lost everything because of drought this must have seemed utterly foolish.  It is only a tiny cloud and you are declaring a deluge of rain!    The midterm elections are a cloud the size of a man’s fist.  A nation wants a job not food stamps.  A nation wants greatness not global obscurity.  A nation wants Jesus not Allah.   A nation has just taken a small, vital step toward God.

Voters’ verdict explodes 5 Democratic myths

Voters’ verdict explodes 5 Democratic myths

BY BYRON YORK | NOVEMBER 5, 2014 | 8:30 AM

 MYTHS
As Democratic losses mounted in Senate races across the country on election night, some liberal commentators clung to the idea that dissatisfied voters were sending a generally anti-incumbent message, and not specifically repudiating Democratic officeholders. But the facts of the election just don’t support that story.

Voters replaced Democratic senators with Republicans in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, North Carolina, Montana, South Dakota, West Virginia and likely in Alaska, and appear on track to do so in a runoff next month in Louisiana. At the same time, voters kept Republicans in GOP seats in heavily contested races in Georgia, Kansas and Kentucky. That is at least 10, and as many as a dozen, tough races, without a single Republican seat changing hands. Tuesday’s voting was a wave alright — a very anti-Democratic wave.

1) The election wouldn’t be a referendum on President Obama. “Barack Obama was on the ballot in 2012 and in 2008,” Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in late October. “The candidates that are on the ballot are Democratic and Republican candidates for Congress.” Of course, that was true, but Republicans from New Hampshire to Alaska worked tirelessly to put the president figuratively on the ballot. And they succeeded.

Every day on the stump, Republican candidates pressed the point that their Democratic opponents voted for the Obama agenda nearly all the time. “Kay Hagan has voted for President Obama’s failed partisan agenda 95 percent of the time,” said Thom Tillis, who defeated the incumbent Democrat in North Carolina. Mark Pryor “votes with Barack Obama 93 percent of the time,” said Tom Cotton, who defeated the incumbent Democrat in Arkansas. “Mark Udall has voted with [Obama] 99 percent of the time,” said Cory Gardner, who defeated the incumbent Democrat in Colorado.

On Election Day, nearly 60 percent of voters told exit pollsters they were dissatisfied or angry with the Obama administration. In retrospect, there was no more effective campaign strategy for Republicans running in 2014 than to tie an opponent to the president.

Obamacare poison

2) Obamacare wouldn’t matter. Many Democrats and their liberal supporters in the press believed that the president’s healthcare plan, a year into implementation, would not be a major factor in the midterms. But Republican candidates ignored the liberal pundits and pounded away on Obamacare anyway — and it contributed to their success.

“In our polling, [Obamacare] continues to be just as hot as it’s been all year long,” said a source in the campaign of Tom Cotton, who won a Senate seat handily in Arkansas, in an interview about ten days before the election. “If you look at a word cloud of voters’ biggest hesitation in voting for Mark Pryor, the two biggest words are ‘Obama’ and ‘Obamacare.’ Everything after that is almost an afterthought.” Other winning GOP candidates pushed hard on Obamacare, too. Tillis in North Carolina, Gardner in Colorado, Joni Ernst in Iowa, and several others made opposition to Obamacare a central part of their campaigns.

3) An improving economy would limit Democrats’ losses. In the few places he felt confident and welcome enough to campaign, Obama devoted much of his appeal to citing the economic progress his administration has made: jobs created, growth, healthcare costs, corporate regulation.

The election results were pretty definitive proof that voters are not feeling the progress Obama feels has been made. Most importantly, it is an unhappy fact that a significant part of the decline in the unemployment rate under Obama has been the result of discouraged workers giving up the search for employment altogether. Indeed, in exit polls, nearly 70 percent of voters expressed negative feelings about the economy, many years into the Obama recovery.

4) Women would save Democrats. There were times when the midterm Senate campaigns seemed entirely devoted to seeking the approval of women voters. The Udall campaign in Colorado was almost a parody of such an appeal to women, focusing so extensively on contraception and abortion that the Denver Post called it an “obnoxious one-issue campaign.”

Beyond Udall, most Democrats hoped a gender gap would boost them to victory. As it turned out, there was a gender gap in Tuesday’s voting, but it favored Republicans. Exit polls showed that Democrats won women by seven points, while Republicans won men by 13 points. The numbers are definitive proof that, contrary to much conventional wisdom, Democrats have a bigger gender gap problem than the GOP. The elections showed precisely the opposite of what Democrats hoped they would.

5) The ground game would power Democrats to victory. When all else failed — and all else seemed to fail in the campaign’s final days — Democrats believed that a superior ability to get voters to the polls would be their margin of victory, or at the very least would limit Democratic losses. After all, the Obama campaigns of 2008 and 2012 had run rings around Republicans in voter contact and get-out-the-vote technology.

It didn’t turn out that way. Republicans had upped their game; the party invested millions in an improved turnout machine, and it appears to have passed its first test. At the same time, Democrats failed to conjure that 2008 and 2012 turnout magic in 2014. “The Obama coalition that propelled the president to two victories remained cohesive, drawing on minorities, younger voters as well as women,” the Wall Street Journal reported. “But Democratic efforts to boost turnout among younger and minority voters fell short.”

repudiation

Perhaps most importantly, Democrats learned that a solid turnout effort could not overcome the drag of Obama, Obamacare, the economy, and a generalized unhappiness with the state of the country under the Obama administration.

In the end, Tuesday’s vote represented a repudiation of virtually every notion Democrats embraced in recent weeks as they tried to disregard the growing evidence that they were headed for a historic defeat. Now, the vote is in, and the voters’ message can no longer be discounted.

Obama is now a wounded animal: Here’s what’s going to happen in the next 3 days

Obama is now a wounded animal: here’s what’s going to happen in the next 3 days.

By Mario Murillo

He does not care how badly he lost tonight.  He will act conciliatory for maybe two days in order to throw us off of the scent.  But on the third day, without warning, he will unleash a bombardment on our entire system of government.  Brace yourself for a constitutional crisis of epic proportions.

He will look straight into the eyes of the America people and say “I do not care what you want, or how you voted, I am going to do what I want.”    Out of pure spite he will grant unconditional amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, he will seize every opportunity to issue executive orders on business, the environment to choke the economy.  He will take a pass on jobs, foreign policy, Ebola, ISIS or anything other crisis that affects Americans and instead focus on getting in his last licks.

rejcted

He hates our system our history and our values and he hates Israel.  He got in by a masterstroke of deception but last night millions of Americans told him “we know who you really are and what you did to us.”

Indeed we are about to see the wounded animal in full, mindless defiance.  He is too narcissistic to spare the nation his wrath.  He is too arrogant to admit defeat.  Like a deadbeat tenant he will trash the apartment before he abandons it.

Some of the cat has already been let out of the bag: “Politico reports that “Obama’s political and policy teams are planning a big counterattack if the Republicans win the Senate—introducing a slate of legislative proposals and executive actions on immigration, infrastructure and early childhood education that are popular with the Democratic base and that he will dare the GOP to oppose.”

Our system of government grants the president great power.  That power can also do great harm.  We will have to absorb the damage he does now and pray that God has mercy on us to repair the damage.

Here is a solemn warning to the Democratic Party.  This wounded animal will take you down with him.  If you do not reject Obama’s actions you will continue to lose power for decades.   We are waiting to see if your worship of Obama goes so deep that even in the face of a landslide election you will still choose Obama over the will of the American People.

Finally, in my opinion last night was nothing short of a miracle.  People voted their conscience and not for their government handouts.

Obama’s last act will play out like a Greek Tragedy.  Let me say once more that today I am praying for God’s protection on our nation from a wounded animal in the White House.

Put Obama Under White House Arrest

White-House Arrest

Today we must put Obama under White House Arrest for the next two years. We must cut off his power to do any further harm by voting against any candidate today that supports him. Never have I set ink to paper with a more sober heart.  Never have I approached an election day with a deeper burden.  The nation that you love and I love has slipped through our fingers and today looks like our only chance to get it back.

Obama is a smooth criminal.  Remember that today.  Remember his long list of crimes against our freedoms, our faith and the U.S. Constitution.

The loudest voices in the Democratic Party, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Debbie Wasserman Schultz united with him to destroy our way of life.   To this hour they boast that they are proud of Obama and consider him their greatest asset.

If drastic action is not taken today we will give them an immense confidence to continue to expand their control over everything we hear, see and say.

Germany, Russia, and China are all nations that were seduced into tyranny by figures that felt like messiahs at the time.  We are at a tipping point today where we face the same temptation to be seduced by a Messianic figure.

We know that Obama is being handled like a Messiah when CBS,NBC,ABC unflinchingly defend him, black pastors toss out their Bible for him, and millions cling to him for their government subsidy.

Eric Metaxas, author of “Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy” gives us a completely new spin on the theological genius Dietrich Bonhoeffer.   “Christians all over the world have read his books,” Metaxas says, “but very few people know the full story of his involvement in a plot to kill the head of the German state.”

dietrich-bonhoffer

Bonhoeffer is revealed in the book as one of the few German Christians who refused to appease Hitler and his perverted interpretation of Christianity. Bonhoeffer’s staunch resistance to the Third Reich and his push for civil disobedience cost him his life.

He made this haunting observation: “There were many German churchgoers, whether they were Christians or not, I don’t know, but they went to church and somehow they made peace with the Nazis,” Metaxas says. “They thought there was nothing wrong. Bonhoeffer had such a devoted faith he knew without any question that the Nazis were anti-Christian and they were evil, and if he didn’t stand against them he would have to answer to God.”

I am not comparing Obama to Hitler; I am comparing the American Church of today to the German church of the 1930s.  I am comparing the Americans of today to those nations that were fooled into tyranny.

Insanity for America is to doing what was done over and over again by past nations that lost their freedom and expecting a different result.

Look at the video of Joel Osteen calling Obama a Christian.  See for yourself if Christian leaders in America have become so opened minded that their brains have fallen out.

Metaxas finishes by saying “But the legacy that Bonhoeffer leaves future generations is of the untold dangers of idolizing politicians as messianic figures. Not just in the 1930s and ’40s, but today as well.

“It’s a deep temptation within us,” says Metaxas. “We need to guard against it and we need to know that it can lead to our ruin. Germany was led over the cliff, and there were many good people who were totally deluded.”

The proof of America’s power to be deceived is demonstrated in one simple fact:  Even though Obama has failed spectacularly, and has brought untold misery, still, today many Christians, like cattle are going to go and vote yet one more time for his agenda.  I can only pray that I am wrong.

I cry out to you from the edge of that cliff today.  Open your eyes to what is happening.  Reject every Democrat that joined hands with Obama to destroy our freedoms.  Let’s put Obama under White House arrest until we are sure that our freedom and our Constitution have been safely restored.
