IS THERE A WORD FROM THE LORD FOR THIS HOUR?

AMERICA IS PAST HOPE AND WILL BE DESTROYED?  AMERICA IS FAVORED AND WILL NEVER BE DESTROYED?  Almost all prophetic words today shout one of those two headlines   Facebook oozes with voices claiming to be prophets or mouthpieces for God.   The internet teems with self-appointed prophets who scream to be heard, bombarding us with “prophetic words.”

So, is there a word of the Lord in this hour?  All I can tell you is I walk in the fear of the Lord and the constant remembrance that one day I will stand before God and give an account for every word I have spoken.  Yet, for all that reverential fear my bones burn with a word for this hour.

My Spirit can’t hold it back:

That to autonomously pronounce judgement is to play God.  Doomsdayers are calling off the attack against evil when God has not.  They are sounding a false retreat.  They are making evangelism futile.  They are helping put souls in hell by discouraging soul-winners.

Don’t lie to yourself.  Don’t make up prophecies of judgement just because you are mad at the church.  Face it!  Your righteous indignation may be nothing more than a personal grudge that your ministry was rejected by the church.

However, the great danger is not an abundance of prophets of doom.  It is the false prophets of grace and entitlement who are most dangerous.

In a wonderful book entitled The American Miracle written by Michael Medved, we see astounding and undeniable examples of God stepping in when America seemed beyond hope.  However, these examples are not proof that judgement won’t come.  To assume this is sheer madness.

I want to use George Washington as an example of something that desperately needs to be said to the American church.  Washington died because of medical malpractice.  Back then doctors believed in bleeding sick patients.  Washington was already weak from his sickness—by taking blood out, the doctors made him weaker and finally killed him.  It was the worst thing they could have done.

Listen church!  Cheap grace is bleeding an already weakened church.   It helps set us up for national destruction.   For Satan, this the perfect theology.   Instead of a life-giving conviction and a robust will to fight—this perversion induces drowsiness and apathy.

Why do you think so any of our pastors are closet alcoholics and addicted to porn?  And what can you expect a poisoned vessel to preach on Sunday morning?

Past miracles don’t guarantee future mercy.  They should awaken urgency, overpowering gratitude, humility, and profound soul searching.  Throwing ourselves off the cliff of morality to prove the power of Grace tempts God and provokes wrath.

God is trying to show us the times and what to do: 1 Chronicles 12: 32 “of the sons of Issachar who understood the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” The entire chapter lists the military talent of each tribe of Israel.  This gift was Issachar’s weapon

Next, “prophets” who say America will be destroyed or who say America cannot be destroyed are dead wrong.  We are neither pardoned nor condemned.  Our fate has not yet been decided.

We are living in a moment of mercy: HOW SOON WE FORGET!  We were spared the horror of Hillary—the finishing touch of Obama’s death spiral—a permanently enslaving national debt—A Supreme Court chaining us to anti-God laws, freedom-killing environmentalism—open borders bringing perpetual Democratic control, crime and terrorism.

Trump’s election was a miracle meant to ignite the church.  His time is Washington will be short, ineffective and we will end up worse off than ever if the church fails to obey God.

Trump has had missteps as president.  This does not mean he was the wrong choice.  Would we dare abandon him so soon?   He needs our prayers.  He needs our support.

Here are the precise verses for this hour:  Ezra 9:  8 “And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage. 9 For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”

If, after all the mercy God has demonstrated—in a miraculous election—we fail to repent, rise and take our rightful place in America’s future…we can be destroyed.

Listen again to Ezra:

Ezra 9:13 “And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for our great guilt, since You our God have punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and have given us such deliverance as this, 14 should we again break Your commandments, and join in marriage with the people committing these abominations? Would You not be angry with us until You had consumed us, so that there would be no remnant or survivor?”

Wrath comes when you do not properly respond to mercy:  2 Chronicles 32: 25 “But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore, wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.”

Look again at Ezra’s words: but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.”

Trump is a temporary reprieve.  Now we must do our part.  We must act on the mercy we have been shown.  He extended mercy so that we would do three things: Revive, Repair and Rebuild.

Revive: God commands us to seek a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  We dare not have church without it!  We dare not utter another word in the pulpit that denies it!  The word of the Lord for this hour is: cry out to God with heart of gratitude for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Here is the key promise if we do: 1 Samuel 10: 6 Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. 7 And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.

Repair:  The pulpit and our moral compass is broken.  They must be repaired!  Our wiring, plumbing and foundations are damaged.  Abortion and marriage are issues we lost because our leadership was broken.  We abandoned the Bible and did not arm ourselves or the congregation with convictions.

America needs Lions who roar from a righteous heart.  Away with secret sin and lukewarm grace.  Prayer will repair.  The voice that shakes hell and frees men and women from bondage is forged only in fervent prayer.  Satan does not respect your stage presence, education or tactics.  He knows a prayerless poser.  He only retreats before men and women who have been to Gethsemane.

Rebuild: We must come home to the Glorious Gospel.  We must dismantle all the silly things we have tried to say to this generation.  Forget about rebranding!  We need to rebuild our sermons from the ground up.  Let them be replete with Bible Verses.  Let them talk of the mighty God.  Fill them with content the Holy Spirit can use on lost souls!  The Good News must once again roll off our tongue in the office, on campus and at the mall.

The consequences of cheapening God’s mercy are too terrible to imagine.  The opportunity this miracle has opened is too wonderful to ignore.  That is the word of the Lord for this hour.

THE COMMITTEE BY MARIO MURILLO

Director Rob Reiner denounced Robert De Niro and other celebrities for their remarks against President Trump, saying it only helps the president.
During an exclusive interview with The Hill’s new TV show “Rising,” which aired on Wednesday, Reiner addressed the controversy surrounding actor Robert De Niro’s “F—Trump” speech during the Tony Awards on Sunday.
De Niro called the president a “f—ing idiot” and a “f—ing fool,” which was met with a standing ovation.
“You’re helping Trump by saying ‘F— Trump,’ because he can say ‘look at these people, these elitists,’ ” Reiner told “Rising” co-hosts Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton.
Reiner said he thinks celebrities are ultimately hurting Democrats when they go on expletive-ridden rants against Trump.
“There’s a very fine line between energizing the base and energizing the other side,” Reiner said.
In this blog I want to highlight how the outrageous and wacky behavior of Robert De Niro, Nancy Pelosi, and Maxine Waters will win so many votes for Trump and Republicans in the midterms that I am formally dubbing them the committee to reelect Donald Trump.
Reiner is so right.  But the left is so inebriated that it won’t matter.  They will not muzzle these campions of buffoonery who are so helpful to our cause.
Nancy Pelosi been driving independent voters to toward the Republican Party for years.  The following are some of her greatest hits ending with the zinger that will sway the midterms.
-In 2009, while pushing a stimulus bill to counter the recession, Pelosi said, “Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package, 500 million Americans lose their jobs.” At the time, the U.S. had just over 300 million residents.
-In April 2017, Pelosi attacked Trump for proposing a border wall on the southern border, even though she voted for the Border Fence Act of 2006. She told NBC News’ Chuck Todd: “The president … is expressing a sign of weakness. He’s saying, ‘I can’t control our borders. I have to build a wall.'” So it wasn’t a sign of weakness when Pelosi voted for it in 2006?
And the quote that is sure to haunt Democrats in this year’s midterm election is Pelosi’s cavalier dismissal of $1,000 and $2,000 bonuses that legions of American workers are getting as a result of Trump’s tax reform: “In terms of the bonus that corporate America received versus the crumbs that they are giving to workers to kind of put the schmooze on is so pathetic … I think it’s insignificant.

Maxine Waters wants more people to harass Trump administration officials in public spaces.
“Already, you have members of your Cabinet that are being booed out of restaurants,” she continued as the crowd erupted, “who have protesters taking up at their house, who say, ‘No peace, no sleep. No peace, no sleep,’” she continued.
“Mr. President, we will see you every day, every hour of the day, everywhere that we are to let you know you cannot get away with this!” she yelled.
Waters was referring to Department of Homeland Security Kristjen Nielson, who was heckled in a D.C. restaurant, and later had protesters playing loud speakers outside her home.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted that she was told by the owner of the Red Hen in Lexington, Va., that she had to “leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left.” She said the episode Friday evening said far more about the owner of the restaurant than it did about her.
“I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so,” Sanders said in the tweet from her official account, which generated 22,000 replies in about an hour.
Sanders’ dilemma in Lexington is just the latest is a series of bad nights out for members of Trump’s administration.
Earlier in the week, Trump’s Homeland Security secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, cut short a working dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Washington after protesters shouted, “Shame!” until she left. A few days earlier, Trump aide Stephen Miller, a key adviser on immigration, was accosted by someone at a different Mexican restaurant in the city, who called him “a fascist,” according to the New York Post.
While this behavior momentarily rouses the left it permanently disgusts a growing number of Americans who see this as nothing short of bigotry and hatred.
And there you have it…the committee to reelect not only Donald Trump but to totally wipe out the blue wave in midterms.  Keep it up people, we need every vote.

A strange thing has happened to Democrats

They suddenly discovered adultery is a sin.  Not only that, they now believe it is grounds for a president to be impeached.

Because he is a billboard for liberal hypocrisy, Bill Clinton is scurrying away hoping you won’t see him.  He remembers when Democrats defended him for current adultery (not something that happened 12 years previous.)  He remembers when the New York Times screamed that it was no one’s business when consenting adults have sex.

He remembers when (as recently as 2016) feminists thought even his rapes were okay.   Wonkette feminist writer Rebecca Schoenkopf thinks Bill Clinton probably raped Juanita Broaddrick back in 1978 — but that doesn’t make him a bad person.

In a post published in response to Broaddrick’s recent interview about the alleged attack, Schoenkopf explained Bill probably just didn’t know that forcing himself upon a woman was a no-no — because apparently no one told men not to rape 30 years ago.

“I can absolutely see Bill Clinton doing this (then, not now) and not even thinking of it as rape, but thinking of it as dominant, alpha sex,” Schoenkopf writes. “I can see a LOT of men doing that during that time period, before we started telling them in the ’80s, ‘hey, that is rape, do not do that.’ I can see YOUR NICE GRANDPA doing that, back then.”

Okay, that’s crazy.   So let’s get back to the question of how the Democrats totally flipped on the issue of adultery?

And how did they go from admitting Clinton’s rapes were okay, to falsely accusing Trump of rape?

Before we answer that, check this out: Just when you thought they could not get any richer here are other examples of hypocrisy:

Bill Clinton opposed illegal immigration.  Bill Clinton made citizenship a question on the census questionnaire.  Both things Democrats scream against now.  And now…

The all-time double standard bearers—the supreme practitioners of hypocrisy, call Christians hypocrites for backing Trump.

Let me assure you of something.  If Trump said, he was a Christ follower, and he was caught cheating on his wife as president, I would be first in line to rebuke the immorality.  That has not happened.  There’s as much evidence for that as there is for Russian collusion.

I don’t believe Christians who support Trump will give him a pass if he behaves like, say…Bill Clinton.   Let me prove it to you in a way that some will hate me for: look at what happened in Alabama. Even if you believe that Judge Roy Moore was railroaded—and there is evidence of that—many Christians could not vote for him because of the moral shadow cast on him.

Bottomline: The Democrats vehemently defended adultery because it could keep Clinton in office.  They only found morality to get Trump out of office.

The real hypocrisy is even worse.  They believe Bill Clinton should not be impeached for adultery he committed while in office, but Trump should be impeached for adultery 12 years before he was in office.

Now that they’ve discovered the sin of adultery could they also discover the sin of hypocrisy? Sure, if it advances their narrative.

President Trump: Utilize don’t idolize.

Immediately, Trump fans may be put off by the title.  I am not saying don’t love Donald Trump.  I love my brother.  I pray for him.  I am outraged by the vileness of the left toward—not just our president—but his wife and children.   We need to extend love and respect to the man.

When I say utilize, I am not speaking of Donald Trump the man—I am speaking of the presidency of Donald Trump.  I am talking about seizing this moment when power is being used for the good of the nation, and gives the church new freedom to preach the Gospel.

Utilize means: use, make use of, put to use, employ, avail oneself of, bring/press into service, bring into play, deploy, draw on, exploit, harness.  My question to the American church is simple: Are we utilizing his presidency?

The enemies of the church utilized Obama’s time in power to greatly expand their operations…and most notably, create a widespread cultural shaming of Christians.  Under Obama there was outright hostility toward the church’s freedom of speech and religion.  Schools shut down Christians groups.  Prayer was wiped out in many public events.  An amazing amount was done that goes against our basic beliefs.

Some believers dislike Trump because they believe he limits the Gospel.  In fact, the opposite may be true.  Military chaplains can again talk about Christ, Christian clubs can again meet on campus, permits for Christian events are easier to obtain, and even social media has begun to remove the muzzle on Christians.

The newfound hatred for the Gospel blossomed under Obama not Trump.  The railing you hearing right now is because the open season on the church is over.

But what are we as Christians doing with the fact that jobs are coming back—are we investing in soul winning?  Now that we have more freedom to witness are we reaching out?  Now that the oppressive restraints are being successfully challenged in court, and the tide is turning toward more religious freedom, are we harnessing the moment?

On the other hand, we must not idolize Trump.  He is not our provider—God is.  We cannot devolve into a cult following where Trump can do no wrong.  We can’t be entertained by his gotcha tweets (a personal weakness of mine) and bravado.  We have to see the big picture.  Respect him, admire him but never forget the urgency of the time.  You have work to do.

True prophets speak truth to power.  If our president reverses course and becomes an enemy of the Gospel I will openly oppose him.  How can I not?

At best, Trump will be in office another 7 years.  That’s not a long time.  In fact, it could only be 3 more years.  In that time, we must discredit the virus the nation contracted from God-hating leftist elites. If we do not, then brace yourself for the most vicious leftist backlash we have ever known.

The Christians who detest Trump and those who idolize him share this danger—missing the hour of our visitation.  You can miss it by being so prideful you can’t accept the fact that God is working through Trump.   Or, you can miss it by sitting around being enamored by his every move instead of getting to work.

You can sum up the books of Ezra and Nehemiah very simply: God has opened an amazing door to restore Israel but too many Israelites couldn’t see it.  Jesus said,  “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”-John 9:4.

I NEVER SAID THAT

The therapist walked to the blackboard and drew a horizontal straight line.  He asked the patient “what does that make you think of?”  “Sex,” he replied.  Then the therapist drew a vertical straight line and asked again, “what does this make you think of?” Again, the patient answers, “sex.”  Finally, the therapist draws a circle and asks, “okay what about now?”  Once again, the answer was sex.

“I don’t need to go any further” said the therapist, “you’re obsessed with sex.”  Incensed, the patient replies, “Me?”  “You’re the one drawing all the dirty pictures!”

It was interesting how many thought I was drawing dirty pictures—claiming I said any Christian who disagrees with Trump hates him.  I never said that.

It was equally remarkable to see how angry they got—how they took it so personally.

Some of the comments were hilarious.  “I am a believer, I don’t hate him. Even though he is a pathological liar, and a wolf.”  Other Christians cited the audio of Trump from 12 years ago as proof that he is evil.  Not even considering he might have changed.  Again, they add the disclaimer, “but I don’t hate him.”

But my favorite criticisms came from those who said:

-This is why young people won’t listen to us.

-The article is divisive to the Body of Christ.

-Stay out of politics.  No politician or party can be used of God.

Thank God they’re wrong about young people.  I hold nothing back and it just makes more of them show up.  I give them direct appeals and they come to Jesus.  It’s a canard to say youth don’t want to hear this.

What is divisive to one looks like God separating the sheep and the goats to another.  A core of believers is rising that is finished with the lukewarm church.  Lukewarm-ness is a good thing to be divided from.

If you think God can’t work through a political leader think again.  If you think politics has no place in spiritual warfare think again.  When the hard left took possession of the Democratic Party, the first thing they did was throw the church out.

Who changed traditional marriage?  Who champions—not only abortion—late-term abortion?  Who puts Christian bakers out of business?  Who is ignores MS-13 because they are immigrants?  Who espouses bans on prayer, conservative speakers on campus, confiscation of guns, makes “F—Trump! a mantra” a statement, one Democratic columnist said, “was worthy of the Pulitzer Prize.”

We have never faced such a hate-filled mob of media elites, Hollywood hypocrites, and God-hating extremists—hell-bent on crushing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in America.

Stop living in the past.  The day of civil discourse from the left is long gone.  Journalism is dead.

I know saying this will make heads explode: but in all this madness of globalism, and George Soros-funded tyranny, Trump is a momentary reprieve from God—an imperfect vessel notwithstanding.  He is a stop-gap buying time for the church to act.  And it’s disastrous for the church to ignore it.  If nothing else, he defeated Hillary Clinton.

Never mind the dinky stuff.  Look at the policies and the laws he is undoing and the ones he prevents—laws and policies that would muzzle the church and will build a godless nation for your children and grandchildren.  Trump is a firewall.

When you say that God can’t use politicians you are saying only the devil can.

God’s catalysts can come in strange packages…ranging from the bizarre, to the coarse.  Samson, Saul of Tarsus, and even General Patton come to mind.  Often, they offended sensibilities, barged in where others feared to go.

The devil has the American church groggy on the goodness of God without the needed balance of the holiness of God—holiness that leads to authority—authority to rise and tear down cultural strongholds of Satan through moral awakening.

Trumps is buying us time.  Seizing the time?  Well, that’s our job.

Christians who hate Trump

They are the Christians who hate Trump.  Let’s call it for what it is: hate.  It is their hate—strange for professed Christians—that dulls their ability to see the inaccuracy of their comments and their myopic views.

One sanctimonious ranting Christian said, “there’s nothing Biblical about Trump.”  Actually, there’s nothing Biblical about that statement.  The prophet Daniel served Nebuchadnezzar.  Daniel recognized the role a pagan king played in God’s unfolding drama.  The church’s ability to work with Trump is totally Biblical.

Now I must clarify, lest I incur the wrath of Trump supporters.  I am not calling Trump a pagan king—I’m sure he much more moral than his enemies know—I am saying that if Daniel could work with Nebbie, how much more we can work with the Don.

I tried hard to figure out believers who hate Trump.  Our side won a long overdue and miraculous victory and they choose to aid and abet the other side.  Is it because their favorite “Christian” didn’t win and they are sour grapes?

And why didn’t these conservative Christians hold Reagan to the same standard?  They adored him even while Nancy was studying horoscopes in the White House.

They didn’t require any president to be a squeaky clean pastor until Trump.

Yeah his tweets can be a bit much.  And okay, president Trump is not as smooth as Reagan…but, maybe we don’t need smooth right now.

But there is something else that is really strange, (hypocritical is more like it) why didn’t these guardians of morality speak out against Obama?  T.D. Jakes even attacked Franklin Graham for questioning Obama’s Christian Faith.  Told him not to judge a brother.  Hold that thought as we explore another question…

How could you not question Obama’s Christianity?  Obama begged the question by dropping the Christian card whenever it suited him (something Trump never does).   Meanwhile, Barack fought for same sex marriage, late term abortion, and was the most Biblically hostile president in our history.

Click on this link to see the list of his acts of hostility toward Christians   https://wp.me/p1vrzp-3DQ

Back to Jakes.  So why do so many Christian leaders—who said it was wrong to judge Obama—judge Trump?

Trump is not a pastor.  He is a businessman who loves America.  As far as his faith?  I am not qualified to determine his spiritual depth since I’ve never had the chance to meet the man.

“He is like Hitler and the church is being fooled” said another comment.  Please remove your tinfoil hats and listen.  Hitler never had 98% of the media against him.  Trump has never called for a new constitution.  Hitler never tried to protect Israel.  I could go on and on.

Maybe if Trump had been the first president to address the march for life.  Maybe if he had chosen an on fire born-again vice president.  Maybe if he has rescinded executive orders that banned federal funds from Christian organizations.  Maybe if he overruled the Johnson Amendment that banned the free speech of pastors.  Maybe if he had moved the American Embassy to Jerusalem.  Maybe if he had put someone on the Supreme Court who helped Christian bakers practice freedom of religion.  Maybe then you would support him.  Oh wait…he did all that.

God has done a miracle and the enemy wants to make short work of the amazing breakthroughs we are witnessing by dividing the church.  Instead of being a religious outlier you should be thanking God, praying, supporting the president, and voting.

SOME FOR HONOR AND SOME FOR DISHONOR

Former president Obama’s defenders say his failure to salute the soldiers was an oversight—that it’s unfair to judge.  However, the dishonor he felt toward our men and women in uniform showed through many times during his presidency.  This isn’t a photo of a distracted president.  It’s a snapshot of his heart recorded for all time.

President Trump by contrast, goes out of his way to honor our soldiers.  Nothing can distract him from saluting our brave men and women.  President Trump understands honor.  Memorial Day is all about honor.

Look at the two pictures again: Obama strides past two men who earned the right to be honor guards through years of excellent service.  They are being ignored by a man who essentially leap-frogged from community organizer to president.  On the other hand, Trump—a captain of industry for decades—is humbled to be saluted by these men of valor.

It has been said that only two forces have ever offered to die for you: Jesus Christ and the American soldier.  Let that settle into your spirit.

Jesus Himself knew the kind of character and faith military service could create:

Luke 7:1 “Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. 2 And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. 3 So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, 5  ‘for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.’

6 Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “

‘Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.’

9 When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, ‘I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!’ 10 And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.”

Let’s be haunted today by the images of moms separated from young children—of men serving in dark and foreboding forward positions with only dreams of home—of wounded warriors returning home to fight a lifelong battle with their injuries—and most of all, remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and never saw home again.

If there’s not a lump in your throat or a tear in your eye when you think about the sacrifices made for us, then God help you.  On the other hand, if today, God blesses you to thank a soldier or visit the grave of a fallen hero to give honor, be grateful.  Romans 13:7  “…and give honor and respect to all those to whom it is due.” Amen.
