But, I am not a prophet

No, I am not a prophet. I am something else. God ordered me to warn the American churches of an impending disaster—to rebuke rampant immorality, the sin of abandoning the Word of God, and political hypocrisy. God ordered me to expose the tyranny of the Left and wake up as many drowsy Christians as possible.

Ironically, few criticized me when I preached against gang violence, poverty, heroin, and crystal meth. But they attack me for exposing the worst gang and the most addictive narcotic: Leftist Socialism.

But I am not a prophet! Amos said, “I am not really one of the prophets. I do not come from a family of prophets. I am just a herdsman and a fruit picker. But the Lord took me from caring for the flocks and told me, “Go and prophesy to my people Israel.”” -Amos 7:14

I was just minding my own business, winning souls. Leading addicts, gang bangers, and students to Jesus is my life. Only my wife and a few very near to me know the price I’ve paid. I have lost friends. I have been banned from some churches. And no wonder!

This blog put a spotlight on a hideous, hidden condition. Churches were tacitly approving abortion, same sex marriage, and many other leftist Democrat views in order to hold on to their members.

When you consider the content of the blog, it is a miracle that it has spread to six million readers. It preaches a message that few ever get in church anymore. It breaks every axiom of social media. Instead of using video—a far more effective means of attracting an audience—I was limited to the written word. There is no natural way to explain its expanding influence, except God. However, it is here to warn!

If I am not a prophet, then what is my office and my gift? I am an Evangelist! That is all I want to do−to see mass revival, with signs and wonders. I have never stopped winning souls! I will never stop winning souls!

Someone else was supposed to take this mantle that weighs so heavily on me. They were supposed to prophesy against the evil threatening our nation. The Lord revealed to me that He had called another minister to do this job, but that individual was unwilling to lose their reputation and to stand in the gap for America. I was not God’s first choice for this!

Now I must issue a fresh warning.

Because of the wide-spread sickness in the American church, that was demonstrated in the mid-term elections, pastors who were nothing more that hired guns (bought and paid for by the likes of George Soros) are bringing down the judgment of God. Because millions of so-called Christians voted for the Democrat Party, because they sat in churches, hearing murky messages urging them to vote for leftists, we almost saw Hillary Clinton come to power. These pastors are the proverbial wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Those false ministers who form covenants with darkness are muzzled by the fear of not being ‘politically correct.’ They can’t condemn abortion or the destruction of marriage. They are silent concerning the threat posed by radical Islam and the anti-God violence in America. As a consequence they are facing an even more grave danger—they have grieved the Holy Spirit.

The ideas and values that created America are almost gone. That makes the carnal church special villains in the eyes of God. Ananias and Sapphira were not struck dead simply because of their crime—it was also because of when they committed it. They did it in a strategic time when many miracles were taking place and the church needed to be reminded that they served a holy God.

Amos was not a prophet, per se, but he was recruited by the Lord to expose the rogue altars that corrupt priests had built to replace the altar God had told Moses to erect. They introduced superstitions that were outside the word of God.  Amos told them “tear them down, or God will!”

Amos 3:13 says, “Hear and testify against the house of Jacob,” says the Lord God, the God of hosts, 14 “that in the day I punish Israel for their transgressions, I will also visit destruction on the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground. 15 I will destroy the winter house along with the summer house; the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, says the Lord.”

Can this mean that lavish centers of worship can suddenly disappear?  Can we afford to assume they cannot? Two years after Amos prophesied concerning the sin of Israel, an earthquake destroyed everything the prophecy of Amos had targeted.

But Isaiah said, “Tell the righteous it shall be well with them.”  This is the hour for the remnant who love God, and who seek His face, to feel comforted.  You will be spared.

In fact, at this moment, heaven is releasing power for miracles, words of prophetic might, and great resources to do the work of God.  Those who have kept their integrity and who have perhaps labored in obscurity, not seeing any results, will receive great power and see great numbers of converts.

For the rest, there remains an ominous warning: In your carnality, you are one of the greatest threats to freedom.  You are aiding and abetting the destruction of a great miracle—the miracle of liberty that came from our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.

Someday soon, all I say will be confirmed. I will then be released from this prophetic mandate, because I am not a prophet. I am an Evangelist.

But know this, that if the church will not rise up and speak, God will bring natural disasters against us in judgment. Disasters such as we are seeing, even now: flood, fire, plague, earthquakes, famine, and rampant crime, in order to wake us up and turn us back to Him. It is His gracious mercy. God wants to spare America from self-destruction.

Matthew Henry said something chilling in his commentary on Amos: “If men will not destroy idolatrous altars, God will, and those with them that had them in veneration.”

THEY WILL

THEY WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING

David Wilkerson predicted this emerging force: “God is revealing to all praying people that a glorious new work of the Spirit is about to break forth. God is going to shake everything that can be shaken. He will tear down the old political, backslidden, ecclesiastical system. He will disown the formal, super-church structure. He will chase out of His presence all those who are engaging in self-promoting ministries.”

These praying people he mentions will be the catalyst to these forceful changes.  They are frustrated, hungry, and their numbers are growing fast.  They are coalescing around certain truths: fasting, repentance, and holy surrender to Christ.

This force is the most underrated undercurrent in the church.  Even though it is largely overlooked, it has the firepower to change the church just as much as a youth awakening.  And look out when these two forces collide!

Many of these people were chased out of churches that were once fiery and Spirit-filled, but then went to a new format to attract outsiders.  A growing number of Christians feel their church is promoting programs that don’t impact them. Even programs that bring in large numbers don’t matter to them.  They believe only a move of God can save America now.

They believe we have no time to play games.  They are frustrated that their church is catering to the lukewarm members.  Most of all, they feel that they are being punished for wanting a move of God.

I want to direct my words to those leaders who are guilty of correcting members who yearn for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  You’ve got it totally backwards.  Those who are hungry for a move of God are the best thing that ever happened to your church.

If you have wounded the heart of even a single saint, it was a spectacular mistake.  They, and not the lukewarm, should be setting the tone for your church.

Somewhere, we got the idea—I believe it came from the pit of hell—that exuberant worship, preaching with the anointing and with conviction, fiery prayer meetings, and deliberate soul winning are the “old ways.”

For millions of disenfranchised Christians, these things are not ‘old ways’, but timeless ways. And, their hunger for them is intensifying even as the church grows colder.  Something will have to give!

Change has to come!

Again, David Wilkerson said, “I see it all over the nation today—disillusioned Christians searching for reality. The people in the pew are beginning to fast and pray. They are the ones who now weep between the porch and the altar. And, they are crying out for more depth and more of eternal values from the pulpit. If the minister of their church goes on in some egocentric way, pursuing expensive dreams, they will go out looking for a place where their deepest spiritual needs will be met.”

However, many mega-church pastors didn’t leave it there, they went even further.  They began to punish members who pursued holiness.  They call it a ‘religious spirit.’  These dear saints wonder, “Why would anyone punish a heart for wanting purity?  How can vessels chosen to uplift the righteous and equip the saints, instead, create a system that rewards carnality and shames holiness?”

Let’s be honest.   It’s not as if the modern church is exhausting itself on devotion and sacrifice.  But you’d sure think so by the way some ministers keep telling us to relax, and quit trying so hard, because, ‘Daddy is so pleased with us.’

Even when a congregation is a listless, flabby, biblically illiterate club of moody consumers, preachers will heap on them yet one more message of pampered entitlement.  It’s kind of like handing a diabetic a case of Snickers bars.

It has gotten so bad that Sundays have become a celebration of how much God lets you get away with.

These believers, who know there is more, are equally disappointed in the other extreme. Perhaps in reaction to the deadness, formality, and carnality, some have created churches that are highly emotional and have run completely off the map of scripture.

Satan seduced some into separating the Holy Spirit and the Bible—pitting them against each other.  The Bible not only predicted this deception—it exposed the motive behind it.

2 Timothy 4:3 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers…”  What they can’t endure is the Bible.  They drop the God-card to fulfill their lusts, and then blame the Holy Spirit!

It began in small doses.  One preacher said, “Why do we trust a book? Did they have more of the Spirit than we have?”  Another preacher said, “We’re not supposed to worship a book.”

They will tell you they are trusting in the voice of the Spirit more than The Book.  What they are really hearing is their own voice…or worse.  They don’t deny the inerrancy of scripture: they simply claim direct revelation from God that is equal to the Bible.

If you have all Spirit, you blow up. If you have all Truth, you dry up. You need both!

Studying the Bible has become passé.  Many seek constant prophetic words, and trust these words without comparing them against scripture.

The Holy Spirit becomes “on demand.”  You’ve all seen internet ads where “prophets” will give you a daily word from the Lord.  Some even charge money to give you a prophetic word.

People blame all kinds of things on “leadings of the Holy Spirit.” “The Spirit told me I can leave my husband and children because He wants me to be happy.”  Scantily clad women in church claim, “You may not like the way I dress, but the Holy Spirit does.”  One preacher even compared the Spirit to smoking marijuana, and said, “I am toking the Ghost.”

The book of Daniel seems to divide those who live in the last days into two categories: Those who are corrupted by flattery and those who know their God.  The entire verse reads: “those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.” -Daniel 11:32

The people who know their God are repulsed by both extremes of compromise and emotionalism. They want exuberant worship, even intense worship directed at Christ. They don’t want an emotional binge that feels New Age, and that seems to be trying to reach an altered state.  They want to reach lost souls, but they want no part of an open-ended attraction program that never seems to lead souls into discipleship.  John Wimber called them ‘The Radical Middle.’

As I said before, their numbers are growing every day.  They are not rebellious, they are hungry. They are reaching out to God with great passion.  They are preachers who suddenly realize they have built a monstrosity for God, but they have neither worked with God, nor do they have a relationship with Him.

They are young people who came to church, only to find they didn’t fit any model. After years of increasing emptiness, one day they just collapsed before the Lord and begged for Biblical reality.

Others are finished with egocentric pastors with grandiose, expensive dreams, and carnal visions.  These members of the Radical Middle recognize that their pastors have been distracted—even derailed from their first love.   Those who are interested in becoming true disciples are abandoning ‘attraction- churches’—something revolutionary is happening inside them.

Deep, deep in my soul where the real knowing happens—I know God is doing something new.  God is finished with hirelings.  He is drawing a remnant out of corruption and into a special, supernatural nearness to Him.  They will empty themselves of everything. Every ambition will be burned out—except for one—to love and please the Lord Jesus Christ. They will change everything they are doing now, and begin to walk in the power of and for the glory of God Almighty!

And they will change everything!

A NEW KIND OF LEADER

In the next few years, you will see social media virtually ban all preaching. Not only that, but there will be a concerted effort to marginalize the church in ways you never imagined. Does that mean that Bible-based Christianity is over in America? Absolutely not! You watch: God will come out of nowhere to meet this threat.

Remember I told you this…a new kind of Christian leader will soon appear. They will not fit any present mold. They will be the catalysts. They will usher in the next great awakening.

A few of them will be in pulpits. More of them will be in politics, business, science, law, entertainment, music, or a thousand other fields of endeavor.  They will not introduce subjects—they will introduce eras.

WE INTERRUPT THIS BLOG WITH BREAKING NEWS MARIO MURILLO’S BLOG JUST HIT  6 MILLION VIEWS!  A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR READERS!

No one will be able to buy them off or get them to change the subject. They will operate on a disquieting plane of holiness and consecration. I believe A. W. Tozer was describing them when he said, “They serve God and mankind from motives too high to be understood by the rank and file of religious retainers who today shuttle in and out of the sanctuary.”

Today they suffer. Their agony is what happens when worlds collide. They see their destiny. It’s big and dangerous. A part of them glories in the potential to know God intimately and represent Him bravely. They see themselves rebuking kings, tyrants, and warmongers. They see themselves commanding the transfer of the wealth of the wicked into the control of the righteous. (Is. 60:5)

God is warring to save America. You must find your assignment in that war. But how can we know our assignment?

The secret to finding your assignment is your heart. God speaks to the heart and then the heart must control the mind. Today, many spirit-filled believers are unwittingly involved in New Age practices. They relate to God as if He were some kind of ‘force’ rather than a Person.

They think that audacity and confidence will unlock gifts, authority, and direction. They speak of “activating gifts” as if there was a formula to supernatural manifestations. My friend, it comes through brokenness, not arrogance. The ‘force’ is a farce.

The gifts and anointing of the Holy Spirit always come through relationship. Sorry, but Christianity has always been, and always will be, family owned and operated. So then how can we know our assignment?

Your assignment in the Army of God is your individual expression and extension of Christ’s destruction of the works of the devil. You are a destroyer of the works of the devil. God will give you a way to do it that is unique to you.

Until that gets through to you—until you admit and agree to those terms—God will remain silent about your assignment.

Because the situation today in America is an impossible one, only one kind of person will make a difference now. They must be armed with divine certainty. They must own an unshakable, bone-deep conviction that they have been chosen for this task.

Without this, we have zero hope of removing the bloody talons of Satan from the throat of our nation. Without it, we are doomed to another embarrassing misfire, pawned off as revival.

Next, you must face the fact that very few believers are supposed to be teachers, preachers, or pastors (see James 3:1). For too long, we have listened to the voice of God through a filter. In the past, whenever God has moved someone to serve Him, we have assumed it meant ‘ministry.’

This assumption of ministry has sent many Christians to Bible College who didn’t belong there. Worse yet, it has filled pulpits with people who should have never been ordained. This reminds me of why President Woodrow Wilson once said, “One of the proofs of the divinity of the Gospel is the preaching it has survived.”

This filtered view of service is one big reason the church lost influence in our nation. God tried to send people into education, law, medicine, business, art, media, and yes, even politics−but instead, we herded them into “Christian service.”

You see it in the Bible. You see it in the stories of heroes of faith throughout history who altered the course of their generation. At the dawn of their mission, God infused them with incontestable certainty.

This certainty plays a critical role in their survival. Think of it like the escape velocity of a rocket. Escape velocity is one of the biggest challenges of space travel. In order for a rocket to break free of the Earth’s gravitational force it must reach a speed of seven miles per second. That’s 25,000 miles per hour!

Evil convulses at the approach of a new vessel of God. Hell instantly puts chosen ones on a hit list. The child of God must be blasted by divine certainty into a trajectory that will escape the pull of devils, the seduction of fame, withering criticism, and the dark night of the soul that comes to all who are called of God.

From his death bed, John Wesley wrote his last letter to William Wilberforce to encourage him as he fought in Parliament to abolish slavery in England. In this letter, Wesley confirms the urgency of divine certainty: “Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out by the opposition of men and devils. But if God be for you, who can be against you?  Are all of them together stronger than God? O be not weary of well doing! Go on, in the name of God and in the power of his might…”

Understand this child of God! The same Spirit that is awakening a passion and direction in you is doing the same thing to millions more. Soon an army will emerge that will invade every area of our culture.

Today it is sporadic fire, here and there, but soon the prophetic core of God will obey and embrace their assignment. They will come together in a chorus of victory that will be unlike anything we have ever seen.

Never forget, Christianity will survive without America−but America will not survive without Christianity.

God is in the most aggressive search

Many Christians and Pastors are in deep turmoil because God is chasing them down. The Lord God has begun a deep work in them that has made them strangers without a country. They don’t know where they fit. God won’t let them get good at something they are not supposed to be doing. They are done with business as usual.

Is there a deep work of God in you that is ruining you for this world? Are you done with the world system—especially the way it operates in the church?  Do you leave a service, thinking, “This is not it, there is something terribly wrong here.”  You can’t stomach the glitzy entertainment centers anymore. Again, I am talking about both pastors and parishioners. Believe me: BOTH preachers AND parishioners.

They are angry at egocentric preachers with grandiose, expensive, and carnal visions that have zero to do with winning souls.  They are sick of being distracted—even derailed from their first love.  Disciples are abandoning ‘attraction-church’ models in droves. Something revolutionary is happening deep inside them, because God has begun a secret work.

Honest pastors are also in divine turmoil.  The enemy condemned them for having a smaller church.  After years of blood, sweat, and tears, their churches were battered, broken, and diminished—because they can’t compete with ‘mega-church mania’.

And why can’t they compete? It’s because they have maintained their integrity!   When they see large crowds and big money pour effortlessly into churches that either hide or pervert the Gospel, it is easy to feel like a fool for staying true.  The Bible says, “Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain, And washed my hands in innocence. 14 For all day long I have been plagued, and chastened every morning.” Psalm 73:13,14.

However, our friend in Psalm 73 came to a great conclusion. After being bulldozed by the success of the wicked, he took action “16 When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me—17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.”  There are many pastors whose hearts are crying out for more—for a miracle they can’t even describe.

When the writer of Psalm 73 entered the sanctuary, exhausted and discouraged, the greatness of God overwhelmed him.  He saw that there is no version of this battle where Satan wins.  This is a part of the secret work God is doing in you!

A growing number of hungry hearts agree—with all its money and crowds—the compromised church did nothing to rebuke America’s sin.  The ‘seeker-friendly’ model was a house of cards that stood no chance against the onslaught being waged on the unborn, and on marriage.  While these men slept, there have been over 54 million abortions, divorce is rampant, and the institution of marriage has been perverted.  In the last 10 years we have lost battle after battle: in government, education, and the media.  We are a hopelessly divided nation, enduring a cold civil war between the Left and the Right.

The situation is dire. We are beyond words. The specter of President Trump who is being attacked at every turn; the economy tanking; witch hunters digging up dirt on anyone and everyone, even back to their childhood demonstrates that no human solution remains for America.

So God has taken matters into His own hands. At the approach of evil, God recruits people. He yearns to express His supremacy over evil, through purified vessels. He ruins them for everything—everything, except His Glory. At this present hour, God is conducting the most aggressive search for available servants in American history.

What He means to create—when He finds true surrender—is stunning. He will imbue them with power to perform notable miracles, and power to speak with irresistible force.

Deep, deep in my soul, where the real knowing happens—I know God is doing something new.  Every atom of my being tells me that God is doing a secret work in His people.  God is finished with hirelings. He is drawing a remnant out of corruption and into a special, supernatural nearness to Him.  They will empty themselves of everything—every ambition will be burned out. There will be nothing remaining except one purpose—to love and please the Lord Jesus Christ.

Is God doing a secret work in you?  Has God closed you in and stripped you of all enjoyment of lesser things?  Are you experiencing a divine frustration because you are supposed to be a part of something only God can do?

What if millions of Americans get so miserable that they cry out to God in total desperation?  What if their cry is too deep, and their hunger is too great, to ever be happy in a lukewarm church?  This is why the Holy Spirit is recruiting a new breed—a breed that can be trusted in the awakening that is coming.

God is doing a secret work!  He is drawing a remnant to Himself.  He is taking the prophetic core and communing with them, training them, empowering them and preparing them for one last mighty blast of power.  The Holy Spirit sees that our nation is hanging by a thread.  The death-rattle is in America’s throat.   Before God allows destruction, He is going to do one last massive miracle, and give America one last chance.

That is why God has uprooted and filled you with deep travailing. It may look like a crisis, and feel like chaos, but the dealing of God within you is right on time!  Look for these signs:

  • People no one has ever heard of will come to the forefront.  They will arrive with awesome power and piercing messages. Some will not be regular ministers.  In fact, the majority will not leave their secular careers while God is using them.  Some will be pastors who have failed and fallen, due to discouragement. They will be rebuilt, refueled, and re-ignited!

  • Strange locations will house massive outpourings.  Churches that have been small for years will become ground zero for the presence of God.   People will flock in from everywhere to these centers of fire and glory.  Stunning signs and wonders will rock entire communities.  Some churches will be forced to stay open 24 hours a day, just to handle the harvest.

God is doing a secret work in you.  He is making you miserable, to make you into a miracle.

A.C. Valdez was a child during the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Azusa Street. He later became an evangelist.  God showed him the future and here is what he said:

“All the electrifying adjectives in the dictionary shaken together, pressed down, and running over will not begin to describe the soon-to-come, greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit of all times. It is what the Bible calls, “the latter rain”.  You are going to see lay members carry out an amazing ministry through gifts of the Holy Spirit.  There will be wholesale cures of “incurable” conditions, healings of the blind, deaf, dumb, and handicapped, and creative miracles that will strain the imagination.  For those born without eyes, ears, fingers, arms or legs—or those who have lost them through disease or accidents—God will make new ones.  Many astonishing miracles will happen to bring on an international Christian breakthrough.”

I believe A.C. Valdez is not talking about a time far off in the future.  He is talking about now, because, my friend, it is now or never.

WILL YOU?

Will you put away your toys and take up the mighty weapons of God?

Future generations of Christians—if there will be any—will be profoundly baffled by us.  They will ask, “Why?  Why did we let trivial and foolish matters eat up so much of our time?  They will agonize over our shallowness.  They will cringe at the trivial things that were our amusements.

But above all, they will be horrified that we played all these foolish games against the backdrop of madness and perversion all around us.  In a time of raging wickedness—while we still had the chance—why didn’t we rise in the power of the Holy Spirit?  Why didn’t we deliver an effective challenge to the lies, addictions, and brainwashing of our time?

Not everyone can bear what I am about to say.  The fair-weather Christian and the make-believer will shrink before the high calling I am about to describe.  But those who heed this call, and awaken to do their duty, deserve the love and thanks of every true child of God in America.

Paul said, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” -1 Corinthians 13:11

It is childish to linger in stupefying religious echo chambers.  It is childish to mingle with delicate, debilitated, and depleted believers.  It is childish to hide behind the towering lie that our God is unable to build mighty warriors.

I am looking you right in the eye, with a long and steady gaze.  I am mustering all the conviction in my soul.  I am begging you…PUT AWAY YOUR TOYS AND TAKE UP THE MIGHTY WEAPONS OF GOD!

Tyranny, like Hell, will not loosen its grip easily.  But you have this great comfort—the greater the conflict the more glorious the final victory.  You will be granted the honor and thrill of front line participation in the greatest thing God has ever done in the earth.

It is time to pay the price.  Things gotten cheaply are lightly esteemed.  The gold you seek is worth every drop of sweat—every mournful tear—every sacrifice.  (see: Rev. 3:18)

Satan trembles at your advance to this higher calling.  Evil quakes at your deliverance from compromise and cowardice.  Hell asks, “Will they actually take up their rightful weapons and do us great harm?”   Let your soul roar back an eternal, “YES!”

What can we do about the demons that are strangling America?  Can we dismantle their ramparts?  They have brought bitter division, mass addiction, and total deception.  Can we stop them?  Not only can we, it is our sworn duty to tear them down!

The Bible says “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…” 2 Corinthians 10:4,5

If we can’t tear down strongholds, then God is guilty of child abuse of the highest order, for commanding us to do something that cannot be done.  If our weapons are not mighty, He is guilty of letting Paul awaken a deep hope that can never be fulfilled.  The whole point of 2 Corinthians 10: 4 and 5 was to provoke the church to destroy the strongholds of Satan by taking up the mighty weapons of God.

The Bible says, “cast down every high thing.”  The traitorous preaching and teaching of today says there is very little we can do.  So many preachers today remind us, “it’s all in God’s hands.” That may seem a comforting thought, but it is wrong. It is thinly disguised fatalism—and it creates passivity.  Everywhere you look in the Bible, the Word of God is against passivity and advocates action: “fight the good fight of faith…” “Endure hardness as a good soldier…” “Resist the devil…” “Take the sword of the Spirit…”

God has chosen to act in answer to prayer.  He waits until His people rise to take their rightful place in the arena of battle.  Young David saw the stalemate.  No one challenged Goliath.  David couldn’t stand it.  He offered himself to God.

God is looking for someone like that today—someone who can’t live with evil, who can’t stomach the perversion, and is enraged to see God dishonored.  He is looking for someone He can use to turn the tide of America.

If there is one question this blog asks, it is this:  Are you so filled with holy rage that you are willing to lay down every impediment to provide God with an opportunity to vindicate His name before this blasphemous generation?  WILLL YOU PUT AWAY YOUR TOYS?

Here is your great promise: When God sees you take up His mighty weapons of warfare—in the Name of Jesus—and attempt the impossible—God Himself will muster all the resources of heaven to bring you total victory!

Please pray for the tent crusade in Stockton CA and if you know anyone near there get them to the tent!

WHEN SATAN COMES RIGHT AT YOU

Right now Mario Murillo Ministries is under the worst satanic attack we have ever known. Yet I almost relish it! How is that possible?

Facebook censors us. Witches continue to harass us. Drug gangs don’t like us taking away their customers and leading their prostitutes to Jesus.  The Leftist media is writing scandalous articles against us. Hackers are trying to sabotage us.  False preachers—under the influence of the spirit of antichrist—condemn our crusades. And the worst is personal betrayal. Yet, I am so excited!

Is Satan viciously attacking you? You can’t just lay there and take it.  Now is the time for decisive action against the attacks of Satan against your body, your emotions, and your family.  I intend to put a mighty weapon into your hand.

The weapon is a gift from the time I was fighting my way back from the most grueling health issue of my life.  God made me take a class on how to turn an attack from Satan, into an attack on Satan. In other words, the Holy Spirit showed me how to boomerang the attacks of the enemy.

Being bedridden was a perfect torment for me.  In the dark of night, Satan tried to torture me with thoughts of paralysis and even death. Jesus showed me my choice. I could give in and be devastated, or I could follow Him into a victorious counter-attack. Learn a lesson from my ordeal−and from my victory!  Here are the truths:

Satan attacks you because he fears you.  You must never condemn yourself for being under attack, as if you did something wrong—it’s actually because you did something right. If you weren’t dangerous, he would leave you alone. It helps you to turn the tables on the enemy when you see all the damage your life is doing to the devil.

Satan’s attacks are often impulsive and repetitious.  This shows us that he never learns from his mistakes. He reacts and falls into his own trap.  He forgets how it arouses the anger of God our Father when the enemy touches one of His children.  Satan’s life story is a cycle of attacks that backfire.

That is not a comfort when you are facing the cruelest attack ever.  I am certainly not going to trivialize suffering and loss.  Believe me, I have a deep respect for the havoc he can raise, and the pain he can cause.

Satan tests your belief in the victory Jesus won. You must enforce the victory of the Cross on Satan!

By following the Holy Spirit’s instructions, we can make the devil’s attack on us an attack on him.   The Message version of the Bible has a good rendering of Philippians 1: 12 “I want to report to you, friends, that my imprisonment here has had the opposite of its intended effect. Instead of being squelched, the Message has actually prospered.”  Look again at this phrase: “the opposite of its intended effect.”  How can that mean anything but that the attack on Paul turned into an attack on Satan?

I told you that I rejoice, and here Paul is saying it also in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

When that prison door slammed behind Paul, it was a dark moment.  He had no idea how long he would suffer.  He didn’t know if he’d ever get out alive.  Knowing Paul’s heart, his greatest agony was watching this ordeal shut down his ministry.

You can well imagine what images ran through my mind when we had to stop our tent meetings, and so many other things we were doing.

I gathered up all of my strength, pointed at Satan and rebuked Him.  I said, “This attack is now an attack on you!”  I confessed that God now owned the situation.  I declared that I was being healed, no matter what my circumstances said.

Next, I confessed to God that my season of being healed—no matter how long it took—would be a tool of the Holy Spirit for growth, strength, and a greater fighting spirit.  I still enjoy that fighting tenacity today.

But it was the last lesson I learned that was the most significant.  I learned to seek my Father for no other reason than that He is my Father.   I had no idea how much of my past praying was dominated by requests for greater power, or more provision, or for revival.  These were all noble requests, but now, in the Presence that flooded my room, they seemed so secondary.   Being near to Him meant everything.

Today, I live in a level of trust, power, and clarity I never would have gained had I not gone through this great test.

The lessons I learned in the darkest season of my life will cost the devil dearly every time he attacks me, for the rest of my life. He will pay, for the rest of my life.  That is why I say with Paul…”I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”  -Romans 8:18.

Join me in learning to turn every attack of the enemy, into a time of growing stronger in the Holy Spirit!

THERE IS PROOF

Jesus rose from the dead. The Bible says there is proof.  Acts 17:31 “For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”
Because of this proof we should not cower before the culture or present our case in apologetic terms. We should not sheepishly offer Christ in couched terms or clever words. Most of all, we should not accept a faith that believes only part of the story.
Recently, a poll said that a growing number of Christian youth do not believe it is right to share their faith with those who do not believe. This trend violates the Bible. It disobeys the direct command of Christ to go into all the world and make disciples. (Mark 16:15)
This reticence to share is rooted in doubt about the supernatural origin of Christianity. The same Jesus who rose from the Dead is the One Who said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:12).  Since, He is the only Way, then the only thing we can do is share with all men, all faiths, and all nations the one true Way to God.
There is a growing embarrassment about being Christian.  There are false accusations of racism and tyranny that today’s professors attribute to the teachings of Jesus. This makes young believers shy and confused about how to answer the lies.  A good start is to realize how absurd those charges are. To claim that tyranny and racism rose out of “love your neighbor and forgive your enemies” is not only fallacious, it is ridiculous.

Many young believers do not think the story of Easter is real. That is not just sad it is cruel.  Cruel, because it tortures the young believer into a divided soul. They want to adhere to the morals of Jesus but struggle with the supernatural. That is painful because it is impossible. The veracity of Jesus is inextricably tied to the resurrection.
Generation Z honors Jesus as a great moral teacher. But Jesus claimed He would rise from the dead. If He did not, He lied, and if He lied, He is not a great moral teacher.  Paul took it further by saying, in that case, all of us who preach are liars. Paul went to great lengths to make this point:
1 Corinthians 15: 12 “But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead. But He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.”
The resurrection of Jesus is not just your great hope, it is your great responsibility.  If you don’t believe Jesus rose from the dead you will not go to heaven, and you have no reason to say you are a Christian. The resurrection is even central to the model salvation prayer in Romans 10: 8 “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
“But now is Christ risen.” Those words from Paul should electrify our spirit. You should declare it loud and clear. You should understand that whenever you declare it Satan convulses—angels can’t help but join you in jubilation—and your body, mind, and spirit will instantly shake off the despair of modern life.
