WAKE UP! THIS IS THE MOST DANGEROUS TIME I HAVE EVER KNOWN

by Mario Murillo

America is the only nation in history where those who control the money, the airwaves, the press, and the universities, fancy themselves an underground resistance.

We are supposed to believe ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Hollywood, every Ivy League school, plus the Democratic Party have been driven into revolutionary bunkers by Donald Trump.

We have come to a sad and inexplicable madness where the “Freedom Fighters” are fighting against, well, freedom.  The anti-fascists are the fascists.  In the name of liberation, they are taking dead aim at the Bill of Rights…not just some of it—but all of it.   They are the AICLF:  The Already In Control Liberation Front.  They have redefined reality.

Here are but a few of the other realities they have redefined:

Journalism: In what universe, can you award a hack like Jorge Ramos—who openly admits that fighting Trump means you get to tell lies—who is a blue-eyed blond with alabaster skin but says he is nonwhite—the Walter Cronkite award for Journalism.   What’s next?  Janet Napolitano wins Miss America?

Hate: It’s hate to stop terrorists from coming to America.  It’s hate to want a border to keep murders, rapists and drugs out our neighborhoods.  It’s hate when a young girl doesn’t want a naked boy in the women’s locker room.

But most of all, it is hate to have an opinion that disagrees with theirs.  This takes us to the next alternative reality.

Self-Defense:  Words are now a physical attack.  If you say something they disagree with, it’s the same as punching them.  So, when they shut down a rally by beating people, setting buildings on fire and terrorizing crowds—the way they did in Berkeley—it is not rioting… it is self-defense.

Organizers of the anti-Milo Yiannopoulos demonstration at UC Berkeley that ended in $100,000 worth of window-breaking chaos declared it a “stunningly successful” protest — one they’ll happily repeat if the right-wing provocateur tries to return to campus.

“We are happy with the results,” said UC Berkeley Law School alumnus Ronald Cruz of the group By Any Means Necessary., or BAMN. “We were able to meet Mr. Yiannopoulos’ fascist message with massive resistance.”

An estimated 150 “black bloc” anarchists attacked police with rocks and fireworks and used barricades to smash windows at the student union Feb. 1, forcing the cancellation of Yiannopoulos’ appearance.

“We are not affiliated with them, but were united in shutting down the Milo event,” Cruz said.

“Everyone played a part,” he said. “Some engaged in breaking windows — others held signs and made sure that the fascists and the police did not attack anyone.

“This was self-defense,” Cruz said. “Windows can be replaced. People can’t be.”

And this is not the view of a fringe element on the left.  Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine’s son woody was one of 50 who descended on peaceful Trump supporters with fireworks, smoke bombs and fists.  Tim Kaine referred to his son’s actions as “peaceful protest.”

Jake Curtis in his article for The Federalist said: “The actual tactics of the Minnesota resistors were not what made the events of last weekend so frightening. To be sure, they were by no means peaceful or respectful of Trump supporters’ rights to express their views. It’s that the extreme tactics are no longer relegated to the fringes of the Left’s resistance movement.

Wake up! We just entered the most dangerous time I’ve ever known.  Don’t respond by telling me God has this all under control.  If He had this all under control, He would not have ordered us to pray “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

You cannot pray the Lord’s Prayer without expecting marching orders.  You cannot utter those sacred words and then enter a pulpit with Pablum that denies the danger your congregation faces.

God is looking for those who will obey His plan to save America.  If we do not pray with fervent heat—if we do not stand with our president, then we better prepare for a darkness beyond words for our children.

While the danger is new the answer is not new—it is timeless.  When hell belches out a new weapon of mass damnation—heaven is not passive!   God seeks those who will rise up in the Name of Jesus and thrust the spear of anointed righteousness into the heart of darkness.

We’ve already had one great miracle…now let’s get the next big miracle.  The alternative is too terrible to imagine.

HERE’S THE REAL REASON THE LEFT HATES US

Mario Murillo examines and exposes the real reason that the left hates us and why they are on a rampage against us.

HERE’S THE REAL REASON THE LEFT HATES US

By Mario Murillo

The Democratic Party claims to be the party of the poor.  Who can deny that virtually every political office in our most decrepit cites is held by Democrats.

They own the ghetto.   They controlled the government money that poured into the slums.  The human tragedy in the inner city is their science experiment.    The killing fields of Chicago are their debacle.  Speaking of cities…

August 6,1945 was a tale of two cities: Detroit and Hiroshima.  On that day, one was destroyed and the other remained a gleaming, prospering city.  Today, the roles are reversed.

Liberalism run amok, addictive handouts doled out by a criminal enterprise combined to kill natural incentive in the heart of Detroit.

Do you know what a Ponzi scheme is?  Named for Charles Ponzi, it is a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors.

Trillions of dollars later, we must admit that the Democratic Party has supervised the largest Ponzi scheme in history.  It is a scheme that can only survive by deflecting blame and distracting from its obvious failure.

If we had given the money directly to the people of Detroit, every citizen would have obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Liberals continue to believe we need to give Detroit more money—we need to tax the rich!  We currently tax corporations at the highest rate in the world!

Liberals still blame racism.  But what could be more racist than to force feed a mindset of victimization and helplessness?  Democrats keep an illusion alive to stay in power.  The poor are their workforce.  The images of their suffering are Democratic photo ops.  Is this the new plantation?  If so, then who are the real racists?

Can you understand why some say leftist ideology is more destructive than a nuclear bomb?

We almost had a president Hillary.  Many have cited reasons why she would have been a disaster—but they have overlooked the most devastating proof:  She spent $1.2 billion—the most in history—on a failed campaign.  Trump spent less than 250 million.  What would she spend on other failed ventures as president?

Now the left is hell-bent on destroying Donald Trump.  What has he done?  Trump cut the US Debt by $68 billion and gained 235,000 new jobs in his first month as president!

The left says Trump is a disaster.  He is a disaster to them because Trump is exposing the lie that keeps them in power–the lie they use to keep us weak and divided.

George Soros is funding destruction because he hates America.  Obama is stoned on his own celebrity and must do all he can to bring Trump down.  The left has morphed into a by-whatever-means-necessary terror cell.  The left is so hate-filled that all sense of decency, open debate, accountability and reason are out the window.

The uppity left in the ivy halls, the button-down collars, hide their radicalism by granting tacit approval to rioters.  The media left have faked news so long that they now don’t remember the truth.  Protestors openly attack free speech and admit that they want to erase our right to disagree.

Women’s groups can be pro-Islam and never notice the glaring contradiction—because the target is white Christians and Jews.  In the mind of the left…”my enemy’s enemy is my friend.”

A strong America will end their dreams of herding us—whimpering and downcast—into a global village.  A vibrant church full of love and good works would end their monopoly on the poor.

God bless America hits them like daylight to Dracula.  Why?  Because a moral reformation would consign the bankrupt anti-God movement to its proper resting place—the dust bin of history.  That is why they hate us

TRUMP’S VISION FOR AMERICA

By Peggy Noonan

Trump believes that America should not intervene militarily in other country’s problems without being compensated for doing so. If America is going to risk the lives of our soldiers and incur the expense of going to war, then the nations we help must be willing to pay for our help. Using the Iraq War as an example, he cites the huge monetary expense to American taxpayers (over $1. 5 trillion, and possibly much more depending on what sources are used to determine the cost) in addition to the cost in human life. He suggests that Iraq should have been required to give us enough of their oil to pay for the expenses we incurred. He includes in those expenses the medical costs for our military and $5 million for each family that lost a loved one in the war and $2 million for each family of soldiers who received severe injuries.

Trump wants America to have a strong military again. He believes the single most important function of the federal government is national defense. He has said he wants to find the General Patton or General MacArthur who could lead our military buildup back to the strength it needs to be. While he hasn’t said it directly that I know of, Trump’s attitude about America and about winning tells me he’d most likely be quick to eliminate rules of engagement that handicap our military in battle. Clearly Trump is a “win at all costs” kind of guy, and I’m sure that would apply to our national defense and security, too.

peggy_noonan-copy

Trump wants a strong foreign policy and believes that it must include 7 core principles: A) American interests come first. Always. No apologies. 😎 Maximum firepower and military preparedness. C) Only go to war to win. D) Stay loyal to your friends and suspicious of your enemies. E) Keep the technological sword razor sharp. F) See the unseen Prepare for threats before they materialize. G) Respect and support our present and past warriors.

Trump believes that terrorists who are captured should be treated as military combatants, not as criminals like the Obama administration treats them.

Trump makes the point that China ‘s manipulation of their currency has given them unfair advantage in our trade dealings with them. He says we must tax their imports to offset their currency manipulation, which will cause American companies to be competitive again and drive manufacturing back to America and create jobs here. Although he sees China as the biggest offender, he believes that America should protect itself from all foreign efforts to take our jobs and manufacturing. For example, Ford is building a plant in Mexico and Trump suggests that every part or vehicle Ford makes in Mexico be taxed 35% if they want to bring it into the U.S., which would cause companies like Ford to no longer be competitive using their Mexican operations and move manufacturing back to the U. S. , once again creating jobs here.

Trump wants passage of NOPEC legislation (No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act – NOPEC – S. 394), which would allow the government to sue OPEC for violating antitrust laws. According to Trump, that would break up the cartel. He also wants to unleash our energy companies to drill domestically (sound like Sarah Palin’s drill baby, drill?) thereby increasing domestic production creating jobs and driving domestic costs of oil and gas down while reducing dependence on foreign oil.

Trump believes a secure border is critical for both security and prosperity in America . He wants to build a wall to stop illegals from entering and put controls on immigration. (And he says he’ll get Mexico to pay for the wall, which many have scoffed at, but given his business successes I wouldn’t put it past him.) He also wants to enforce our immigration laws and provide no path to citizenship for those who are here illegally.

Trump wants a radical change to the tax system to not only make it better for average Americans, but also to encourage businesses to stay here and foreign businesses to move here. The resulting influx of money to our nation would do wonders for our economy. He wants to make America the place to do business. He also wants to lower the death tax and the taxes on capital gains and dividends. This would put more than $1. 6 trillion back into the economy and help rebuild the 1. 5 million jobs we’ve lost to the current tax system. He also wants to charge companies who outsource jobs overseas a 20% tax, but for those willing to move jobs back to America they would not be taxed. And for citizens he has a tax plan that would allow Americans to keep more of what they earn and spark economic growth. He wants to change the personal income tax to: Up to $30,000 taxed at 1%. From $30,000 to $100,000 taxed at 5%. >From $100,000 to $1,000,000 taxed at 10%. $1,000,000 and above taxed at 15%.

Trump wants Obamacare repealed. He says it’s a “job-killing, health care-destroying monstrosity” that “can’t be reformed, salvaged, or fixed”. He believes in allowing real competition in the health insurance marketplace to allow competition to drive prices down. He also believes in tort reform to get rid of defensive medicine and lower costs.

Trump wants spending reforms in Washington, acknowledging that America spends far more than it receives in revenue. He has said he believes that if we don’t stop increasing the national debt once it hits $24 trillion it will be impossible to save this country.

Even though he says we need to cut spending, he does not want to harm those on Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security. He believes that the citizens have faithfully paid in to the system to have these services available and that the American government has an obligation to fulfill its end of the bargain and provide those benefits. Therefore, he wants to build the economy up so that we have the revenue to pay those costs without cutting the benefits to the recipients. He disagrees with Democrats who think raising taxes is the answer and says that when you do that you stifle the economy. On the other hand, when you lower taxes and create an environment to help businesses they will grow, hire more workers, and those new workers will be paying taxes that become more tax revenue for the government.

Trump also wants reform of the welfare state saying that America needs “a safety net, not a hammock. “ He believes in a welfare to work program that would help reduce the welfare rolls and encourage people to get back to work. And he wants a crackdown on entitlement fraud.

Trump believes climate change is a hoax.

Trump opposes Common Core.

Trump is pro-life, although he allows for an exception due to rape, incest, or the life of the mother.

Trump is pro 2nd Amendment rights.

Trump’s view on same-sex marriage is that marriage is between a man and a woman, but he also believes that this is a state’s rights issue, not a federal issue.

Trump supports the death penalty.

Trump believes that there is a lack of common sense, innovative thinking in Washington (Hmmm. . . looks like he believes in horse sense! ). He says it’s about seeing the unseen and that’s the kind of thinking we need to turn this country around. He tells a personal story to illustrate the point: “When I opened Trump National Golf Club at Rancho Palos Verdes in Los Angeles , I was immediately told that I would need to build a new and costly ballroom. The current ballroom was gorgeous, but it only sat 200 people and we were losing business because people needed a larger space for their events. Building a new ballroom would take years to get approval and permits (since it’s on the Pacific Ocean ), and cost about $5 million. I took one look at the ballroom and saw immediately what needed to be done. The problem wasn’t the size of the room, it was the size of the chairs. They were huge, heavy, and unwieldy. We didn’t need a bigger ballroom, we needed smaller chairs! So I had them replaced with high-end, smaller chairs. I then had our people sell the old chairs and got more money for them than the cost of the new chairs. In the end, the ballroom went from seating 200 people to seating 320 people. Our visitors got the space they desired, and I spared everyone the hassle of years of construction and $5 million of expense. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a little common sense. On top of his saving years of construction and $5 million in expenses, he also was able to keep the ballroom open for business during the time it would have been under remodeling, which allowed him to continue to make money on the space instead of losing that revenue during construction time.

Donald Trump’s entire life has been made up of success and winning. He’s been accused of bankruptcies, but that’s not true. He’s never filed personal bankruptcy. He’s bought companies and legally used bankruptcy laws to restructure their debt, just as businesses do all the time. But he’s never been bankrupt personally.

He’s a fighter that clearly loves America and would fight for our nation. Earlier I quoted Trump saying, “I love America . And when you love something, you protect it passionately – fiercely, even.”

Should Christians Vote for Trump?

Should Christians Vote for Trump?

By Eric Metaxas

Over this past year many of Donald Trump’s comments have made me almost literally hopping mad. The hot-mic comments from 2005 are especially horrifying. Can there be any question we should denounce them with flailing arms and screeching volume?

Trump’s behavior is odious, but Clinton has a deplorable basketful of deal breakers.

This question should hardly require an essay, but let’s face it: We’re living in strange times. America is in trouble.

Over this past year many of Donald Trump’s comments have made me almost literally hopping mad. The hot-mic comments from 2005 are especially horrifying. Can there be any question we should denounce them with flailing arms and screeching volume? I must not hang out in the right locker rooms, because if anyone I know said such things I might assault him physically (and repent later). So yes, many see these comments as a deal breaker.

But we have a very knotty and larger problem. What if the other candidate also has deal breakers? Even a whole deplorable basketful? Suddenly things become horribly awkward. Would God want me simply not to vote? Is that a serious option?

-What if not pulling the lever for Mr. Trump effectively means electing someone who has actively enabled sexual predation in her husband before—and while—he was president?

-Won’t God hold me responsible for that? What if she defended a man who raped a 12-year-old and in recalling the case laughed about getting away with it? Will I be excused from letting this person become president?

-What if she used her position as secretary of state to funnel hundreds of millions into her own foundation, much of it from nations that treat women and gay people worse than dogs? Since these things are true, can I escape responsibility for them by simply not voting?

Many say they won’t vote because choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil. But this is sophistry. Neither candidate is pure evil. They are human beings. We cannot escape the uncomfortable obligation to soberly choose between them.

if

Not voting—or voting for a third candidate who cannot win—is a rationalization designed more than anything to assuage our consciences. Yet people in America and abroad depend on voters to make this very difficult choice.

Children in the Middle East are forced to watch their fathers drowned in cages by ISIS. Kids in inner-city America are condemned to lives of poverty, hopelessness and increasing violence. Shall we sit on our hands and simply trust “the least of these” to God, as though that were our only option? Don’t we have an obligation to them?

Two heroes about whom I’ve written faced similar difficulties. William Wilberforce, who ended the slave trade in the British Empire, often worked with other parliamentarians he knew to be vile and immoral in their personal lives.

Why did he? First, because as a sincere Christian he knew he must extend grace and forgiveness to others, since he desperately needed them himself. Second, because he knew the main issue was not his moral purity, nor the moral impurity of his colleagues, but rather the injustices and horrors suffered by the African slaves whose cause he championed. He knew that before God his first obligation was to them, and he must do what he could to help them.

The anti-Nazi martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer also did things most Christians of his day were disgusted by. He most infamously joined a plot to kill the head of his government. He was horrified by it, but he did it nonetheless because he knew that to stay “morally pure” would allow the murder of millions to continue. Doing nothing or merely “praying” was not an option. He understood that God was merciful, and that even if his actions were wrong, God saw his heart and could forgive him. But he knew he must act.

Wilberforce and Bonhoeffer knew it was an audience of One to whom they would ultimately answer. And He asks, “What did you do to the least of these?”

It’s a fact that if Hillary Clinton is elected, the country’s chance to have a Supreme Court that values the Constitution—and the genuine liberty and self-government for which millions have died—is gone. Not for four years, or eight, but forever.

Many say Mr. Trump can’t be trusted to deliver on this score, but Mrs. Clinton certainly can be trusted in the opposite direction. For our kids and grandkids, are we not obliged to take our best shot at this? Shall we sit on our hands and refuse to choose?

If imperiously flouting the rules by having a private server endangered American lives and secrets and may lead to more deaths, if she cynically deleted thousands of emails, and if her foreign-policy judgment led to the rise of Islamic State, won’t refusing to vote make me responsible for those suffering as a result of these things?

vote

How do I squirm out of this horrific conundrum? It’s unavoidable: We who can vote must answer to God for these people, whom He loves. We are indeed our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers.

We would be responsible for passively electing someone who champions the abomination of partial-birth abortion, someone who is celebrated by an organization that sells baby parts. We already live in a country where judges force bakers, florists and photographers to violate their consciences and faith—and Mrs. Clinton has zealously ratified this. If we believe this ends with bakers and photographers, we are horribly mistaken. No matter your faith or lack of faith, this statist view of America will dramatically affect you and your children.

For many of us, this is very painful, pulling the lever for someone many think odious. But please consider this: A vote for Donald Trump is not necessarily a vote for Donald Trump himself. It is a vote for those who will be affected by the results of this election. Not to vote is to vote. God will not hold us guiltless.

What matters: What Hillary has done. Not what Donald has said

What matters: What Hillary has done. Not what Donald has said

By Mario Murillo

In an act of breathtaking hypocrisy, a very famous pastor and author from Texas explained why he opposes Trump: “If Obama had shown the same rudeness Donald Trump is showing I would have opposed him too.”

Here is his logic: Benghazi was the intentional loss of life but at least Obama and Hillary were not rude.  When they knowingly lied to the families of those that were killed—blaming the attack on a video to protect a reelection campaign—it was okay because they were polite.

Obama’s tone of voice was calm whenever he insulted the Bible and exalted the Koran.  His demeanor in ramming Obamacare, gay marriage and flooding our borders with people who would harm us was done courteously.

So, even though he is a pastor with a large following, he admits he did not fight to stop Obama in 2012.  He told his people, at that time, “I am staying out of politics.”  He remained silent as our morals were dismantled—our safety was compromised—our economy was trashed.

NOW HE DECIDES TO SPEAK UP—NOT AS A VOICE AGAINST ABORTION, IMMORALITY AND TERRORISM—BUT AS MISS MANNERS?!

Political correctness bends the brain in unusual ways.  But it is most bizarre when it twists the logic of an otherwise respected man of God.  No wonder the Bible says, “A righteous man who falters before the wicked is like a murky spring and a polluted well.” -Proverbs 25: 26

This blog is about a fat lie that is overruling common sense.  You hear it all of the time: “look at what Donald Trump said.”  This is a patently insane and false moral equivalence.   Here are examples:

  1. Trump not letting us see his tax forms makes him worse than Hillary.

Hillary erased 33,000 emails!   Putting these emails on a private server broke federal law and jeopardized national security.   She put all of us—you, me, and our children in danger!  How can anything on Trump’s tax forms compare to that?

Okay, one more time: 33,000 emails versus one tax form.  Top secret information that our enemies can use against us sat on a server that could be—and most likely was hacked by our enemies.

She covered her crime by erasing them even after she was ordered by Congress to protect them and turn them over.

Trump legally used tax laws—she deliberately violated federal law.

  1. Trump has called women names. He is worse for women.

Look at what she has done to women.  She took of millions of dollars from nations that treat women like indentured slaves and execute women for misdemeanors.

She tried to destroy women who were raped by her husband.

Can you think of a more horrendous role model for young girls than Hillary Clinton? Her message is: lie, cheat and discredit.  Stand by your man—not out of virtue—but to protect your ambitions.

  1. Trump has had bankruptcies that left contractors unpaid.

Hillary has been in a scandal or has bungled every single political project she has ever touched…no hyperbole here, just fact.   In 30+ years of politics, she has never created a single job or improved the situation.

Meanwhile: Trump took a one-million-dollar inheritance and built a company worth several billion employing thousands.  And he did in the most viciously competitive market on earth: New York City.

Nothing shows this demented form of false equivalency better that something Tim Kaine said in the debate against Mike Pence.  He spouted this: “The Clinton Foundation has a higher rating than the Red Cross.”   I am sure the victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti can’t wait for the Clinton Foundation to show up.

  1. Trump doesn’t have the temperament to be allowed to have the nuclear codes.   Temperament?  Let’s talk about temperament: Hillary once asked in a political ad, “who do you want answering that phone call at 3 AM?”   Well we already know…she got the 3 AM call from Americans begging for their lives in Benghazi.  Hillary—in order to protect her career—has cost people their lives…and maybe even worse.

In 1975, Hillary the attorney defended a man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.  After she got him off.  Later,  she was caught on audio tape laughing about that little girl.   That rape victim now speaks out:

“It’s put a lot of anger back in me … Every time I see [Clinton] on TV I just want to reach in there and grab her, but I can’t do that,” 54-year-old Kathy Shelton told The Daily Mail, as Clinton tries to portray herself as a supporter of women and girls during the 2016 campaign.

“I don’t think [she’s] for women or girls. I think she’s lying, I think she said anything she can to get in the campaign and win … If she was [an advocate for women and children], she wouldn’t have done that to me at 12 years old,” said Shelton.

I heard you on tape laughing …. I just want to know, you’ve got a daughter and a grandbaby. What happens if that daughter of yours, if that would have been her [who was assaulted at age 12]?

You would have protected her. You don’t know me, so I’m a piece of crap to you … Who cares about me, as long as you can win your first case as an attorney?”  Her temperament has never changed…it has just gotten more sophisticated… is this the temperament we want with nuclear codes?

Pastor Stephen Jeffers from Dallas First Baptist Church has called this election a choice between Good and Evil.   I agree.  When you vote on November 8th you should think about what Hillary Clinton has done and not what Donald Trump has said.

Breaking news about Mario Murillo

On November the 9th there will be a big change at Mario Murillo Ministries.  This announcement has been in the planning stages for years but Mario feels that now is the right time to go public.

We have reached a historic milestone:  2 million people have now read Mario Murillo’s blog.

This does not include videos—this is people sitting down to read.  The fact that reading is dying—especially on social media which is overrun by video blogs—makes this achievement even more amazing.

We also know that the blog has been quietly censored…even throttled.  This means that our actual readership is probably much higher.

This blog was one of the very first Christian blogs to openly oppose Barack Obama.  At the time, Obama had a 68% approval rating and it was uncool to criticize him.

Some pastors told Mario he was no longer welcomed in their pulpits.

A large Christian network took him off the air because of his oppositional papers on Obama, Islam and same sex marriage…yes, same sex marriage.

Mario’s blog was one of the very first to publicly support Trump for president—another unpopular stance.   He did not call it prophetic…just common sense.  Once again, the blog endured critical headwinds…but readers kept coming back and the audience kept growing.

Astoundingly, the blog has been read in 174 of the 176 nations of the world.  (Why embarrass the two tiny nations that have not read the blog).

Now Mario is making another ground breaking announcement.  He says that the mantle for his political commentary is being lifted by the Holy Spirit.  He even has a date for the blog’s transformation: November 9th.

It’s not that his writings will never again rebuke government it’s just that he feels something will change drastically on November 9th.

When pressed he could only speculate on why the Holy Spirit will lift this mantle of warning, correcting and exposing the corruption of Washington:

“I believe God had me speak out because America was on the brink of an unalterable disaster.  On November 8th, we will either be rescued by Trump or driven into the ground by Hillary.

If we are rescued, then my work in this arena is done.  I must leave this kind of commentary to others.

november-9th

If Hillary wins, we must assume we will become the underground church.  Her appointments to the Supreme court will be the finishing touch to the already contaminated IRS, FBI and Justice Department.   How can anyone suppose that freedom of speech or freedom of religion will survive her?  How can anyone think this is not our last free election if she comes to power?

Her unholy alliance with Google, Facebook, Apple, Youtube, Twitter and Hollywood will guarantee that any opposing thought will be smothered.  They will be the propaganda machine to justify criminalizing Christianity.

In such a case, I must proceed as if I am in Russia, China or even North Korea.  I must weigh my writings for the impact they will have on the church under a government that will openly punish citizens for reading ‘subversive material.’

When she refers to us as ‘deplorables that cannot be redeemed’ how do you think she will treat us when she has the power?”

So what does he think he will write after November 9th?   “I will occasionally rebuke government.  However, I must declare signs, wonders and miracles more than ever.  I must speak fire and faith to the soldiers of God who may, by then, suffer beneath the lash of a hostile government.”

In either case…November 9th is the start of a whole new kind of blog from Mario Murillo.  Stay tuned!

The Morality of Voting for Trump

The Morality of Voting for Trump

#NeverTrumpers fails to persuade as Dems focus on helping their candidate win

by Laura Ingraham | Updated 12 Aug 2016 at 1:57 PM

Knowing what we know about Hillary Clinton and her plans for America, and the importance of the Supreme Court, we conservatives have a moral obligation to both oppose her and support Donald Trump.

That’s the choice the NeverTrumpers have made — a decision to do nothing.

This is the sentiment I expressed on Sean Hannity’s television show Thursday that has sent some #NeverTrump conservatives into a tizzy. Ben Shapiro is the latest in a long line of mostly Acela-corridor Republicans who spend much of their days “see-I-told-you-so’ing” about Trump.

Shapiro responded on behalf of Team #NeverTrump Friday in a piece titled “Hannity, Ingraham Say It’s Immoral Not to Vote Trump. Here Are 3 Reasons They’re Wrong,” published in the Daily Wire.

Here are his three arguments, none of which is persuasive:

1. Electing Trump as president will do more damage to the country in the long run because a Trump presidency would be the end of conservatism.
Really? What conservatism is that? The conservatism that ran up huge deficits in the 2000s? The conservatism that encouraged illegal immigration? The conservatism that pushed trade policies that led to the rise of China? The conservatism that rolled over for Obama on issue after issue? The conservatism that does whatever The Wall Street Journal editorial page wants? The conservatism of Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain? That conservatism won’t be around anymore? Good.

Those are reasons to support Trump, not reasons to fear him. Over the last 25 years, the conservative movement has failed to win a single election against Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. They failed to stop social liberalism. They failed to stop the rise of China. They failed to shrink the federal government, balance the federal budget, return power to the states, or generally do any of the things that GOP voters wanted them to do.

Now, peeved and spiteful that the base no longer trusts them to do almost anything, they are supporting Hillary Clinton — a radical liberal whose 25 years on the national stage have been an absolute disaster for the average American.

If ending this record of failure, and launching a new conservatism that actually tries to help working-class Americans, is one of the consequences of the Trump campaign, then that campaign will have been well worth it.

2. There are costs to supporting Trump if he loses.
They’re worried about conservatism being tainted by Trump? Were they there when the housing bubble collapsed in 2008, and the nation watched in horror as a Republican president struggled to explain why the U.S. economy was in free fall? Were they there when the Bush administration disbanded the Iraqi military, which made stabilizing that sectarian quicksand impossible? Were they there when Republicans were crushed in the 2006 and 2008 elections — in large part because they could make no defense of the Bush administration? Of course they were.

To this day, conservatism is tainted by its association with the Bush administration — and yet the GOP re-took the House in 2010, and re-gained the Senate in 2014. If conservatives can overcome eight years of disastrous policies that left this country crying out for Barack Obama, of all people, they can certainly overcome Donald Trump.

 3. Your vote is a moral instrument, not just an instrument of policy.
Yes, it is. Voting for Trump means that when your country had been in decline for almost two decades, and you had the chance to set the country on a different course, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you finally had the chance to end the corrupt and decadent Clinton machine, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you had the chance to write in the history books that the country had rejected the last eight years of President Obama, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you had the chance to save the First Amendment, and the Second Amendment, and to restore the proper checks and balances that are at risk from another Clinton administration, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you had the chance to stand up to pro-China billionaires who make money off of a global system that is rigged in favor of a Chinese dictatorship, and rigged against the American worker, you took it.

Voting for Trump means saying yes to a 15 percent top corporate tax rate, which will boost American wages and jobs.

Voting for Trump means that we know how critical the Supreme Court is and if we lose it, game’s over on many of the policies and principles we’ve been fighting for decades.

Is Trump perfect? Of course not. Do you know how many perfect presidents we’ve had? Zero. In the real world, if you want to be a citizen — and have the responsibilities of a citizen — you have to be a grown-up, and you have to recognize that life presents us with difficult choices.

Voting for Trump means fighting against the ennui and decline that is destroying this country.

Voting for Trump does not mean that you agree with everything he says, or that you never criticize him. It does not mean giving up your right to disagree with him — or even oppose him — when he does something you think is wrong. Does anyone think that Paul Ryan — who is supporting Trump — will simply be a rubber stamp for Trump’s policies? Does anyone think that the numerous GOP Senators who support Trump will blindly follow wherever he leads? Of course not.

The NeverTrumpers like to pretend that Trump’s supporters are weak-minded simpletons who don’t understand how politics works. But the truth is that those of us who support Trump understand all too well the reality of the choice that faces us, and are doing the best we can to save this country.

On the other hand, not voting for Trump — and hoping that he loses — also represents a moral choice:

It means being worried every time you hear a story suggesting that Hillary still faces real hurdles before Election Day and could still lose this.

It means aligning yourself, at least temporarily, with left-wing nightmares Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all the other radicals who want Trump to lose.

It means turning a deaf ear to your fellow Americans who can’t take four more years of decline, and who are desperate for new leadership.

It means allowing another four or eight years of flat-lining wages and growth, and high taxes on American businesses.

It means hardening your heart against people those who have spent 40 years trying to stop abortion.

It means rejecting the advice of Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, and the vast majority of elected Republican officials — all of whom are supporting Trump.

It means doing nothing when The New York Times, and The Washington Post, and every other left-wing outlet mocks and ridicules the Trump supporters as racists and bigots.

It means cheering (silently or not) along with every smear and every snide comment that Hollywood and the media can use to attack Trump’s voters.

That’s the choice the NeverTrumpers have made — a decision to do nothing, to wash their hands of the election, of the Republican Party, of the country itself.

That may represent some people’s version of morality. But it’s not mine.
