Every day someone comes up with a new reason to think Trump is finished. However, the FBI found out conspiring against the President backfires. The media went for ratings bashing Trump only to lose ratings and credibility.
Mueller’s witch-hunt investigation is flaming out as political disaster. Americans can see the insanity of it. Here it is in a nutshell: We can prove that Hillary colluded with the Russians to produce a fake dossier that was used to start an investigation into Russian collusion with Trump that can’t be proven. Got it?
-Comey said his new book would do Trump in. Instead, it was spit balls at a battleship.
-CBS believed it had the silver bullet to kill Trump. They gleefully believed that a Sunday night interview with a porn star would be the end of Trump. Monday came, and they joined a long list of disappointed Trump haters whose weapons did not prosper.
-400 newspapers declare war on Trump. You know what will happen.
-Michael Cohen’s testimony was prematurely celebrated by the left. They though it was a magic bulled for impeachment until they remembered that their star witness is not just a liar…he is a convicted liar. Only 37% of Americans found his testimony to be credible.
Trump will not be impeached. He will not even be censured. None of this noise spells doom for Republicans in the mid term elections. You don’t need to worry about Donald Trump. Let me give you 7 reasons why all the attacks on Trump will fail.
1.The poll numbers are skewed against him. Scientists have shown that when people have a favorite candidate who is attacked by the press they go silent. They still support the person, they just won’t tell you. Many, many more than we hear about still support Trump.
Even so, Democratic pundits are dismayed at the way Trump survives. They were counting on a major drop in support after Trump’s meeting with Putin. It just never happened.
2. Americans have a deep sense of fair play. They go for the underdog. People see the flagrant, wanton and disgraceful attacks on Trump by the media. They are giving him a break for that. They also understand his rookie mistakes, he is not a politician… we didn’t want a politician, remember?
Uber liberal director Rob Reiner denounced Robert De Niro and other celebrities for their remarks against President Trump, saying it only helps the president. Reiner is right.
Remember when someone destroyed Trump’s star on the Hollywood walk of fame? Do you think it made more people dislike Trump? Acts like these are why a growing number of independent voters say they are disgusted by the unfair treatment of Trump.
3. It’s the economy. Unemployment is at a 16-year low, and the consumer sentiment levels are at near record highs. When all the background noise settles, and the voter, with a good paying job, stands before the lever to vote—the thought of returning to an Obama economy will horrify.
4. He has plenty of time to win back those who have turned against him. Listen to Jake Novak senior editor at CNBC: “Both party establishments still need a vote-getting leader and President Trump already has the White House leadership role they covet. He has enormous executive power at his fingertips and the ability to win over some doubters with just the passage of time.”
5. The other side still looks way worse. Beto O’Rourke confuses his base, let alone the rest of us. Elizabeth Warren is a shrill throated hater of the white middle-class worker. Bernie Sanders’ economy from Mars plays well only because pot has been legalized on campus. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has made socialism so unpopular it has 18% approval. Maxine Waters is a VOTE FOR TRUMP machine. Nancy Pelosi is, well, Nancy Pelosi.
6. Millions are praying for our nation. There is no way that the fervent prayer of millions will go unheeded in heaven. Sometimes the early stages of revival look as if things are getting worse before they get better.
I know Satan is writhing in agony right now. He knows his time is short. He knows what God is about to do. He is in a futile rage against the inevitable answer. He is spewing deception to make the anointed vessels of God think that no answer is coming.
7. This is the big one: Trump is here by divine appointment. Trump will survive. Not because he’s perfect. Not because his base is fiercely loyal. He will survive even though he is hard for some Christians to take. He is here by divine appointment. Can you hear heads exploding? Yes, you heard me right—he is here because God set him in the White House.
Today Maxine Waters said God has raised her up to bring Trump down. See if you can guess how that is going to turn out.
He is here to wreck and dismantle. He is here to here to apply strong medicine to a self-destructive nation.
Nothing else explains why he is still standing after the cruelest and most unrelenting attack on any leader in American history. More importantly, nothing else explains why none of this has broken his spirit. Deal with it. Someone way bigger than you and me wants him right where he is doing just what he is doing.
Ruthless and impetuous describes Trump. Nevertheless, he is here until he fulfills his purpose.
Urgent final remarks: To all the intercessors who cried out for a national miracle—you got it. It’s just a much rougher package than you imagined.
He will put another conservative in the Supreme Court. He is standing with Israel. He is against abortion. He is working to stop other nations from abusing and harming us.
Thoughtful believers see past the fog. They see what I see, they are praying for his protection, for wisdom and for God’s continued favor.
The big question is why is Trump here? Here comes the chilling answer: Trump is buying time for the sleeping church to wake up and do her job. Trump is a divine stop-gap that appeared out of mercy.
Nothing could be worse than for us to waste this miracle. Nothing could be more grieving to God than for the American church to be ungrateful for a man—a rough customer to be sure—who is taking the hits for standing for all the values that we love.
As I said before, he will not be impeached. He will not even be censured. The next four years and more are his. Hate me, laugh at me, despise my writing…it does not matter, I know it’s true.
I am not kidding you. A man robbing a convenience store—while holding a gun to the clerk’s head—called the police to complain that the clerk would not open the till, unless the thief first purchased something.
Democratic leaders are exactly like that armed bandit. While committing a crime—they not only falsely accuse the victim of a crime—they call the FBI.
As a nation swimming in moral confusion—we can’t see the towering injustice of this entire lurid affair against Judge Brett Kavanaugh. But that is not even the worst of it.
Now imagine if the police had sympathized with the armed intruder and investigated to see if the clerk had behaved properly. Imagine if members of his own family questioned the clerk’s reluctance to give into the robbery. (Jeff Flake.)
Republicans should be outraged in the face of tyranny—they should push for the vote, confirm Kavanaugh, and let the chips fall where they may. They should heed the words of Abraham Lincoln, “Let us have faith that right makes might, and in that faith, let us, to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it.”
Now, wouldn’t you love to hear the original recording of the robber to the police? “I am trying to rob this store and the cashier not cooperating.” That is precisely what Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony before the committee felt like to me.
Julie Swetnick—the other Brett Kavanaugh accuser—was sued for misconduct allegations at a Portland company.
In the suit, Webtrends alleged Swetnick claimed to have graduated from Johns Hopkins University but the company said it subsequently learned the school had no record of her attendance. Webtrends said she also “falsely described her work experience” at a prior employer.
The suit also alleges Swetnick “engaged in unwelcome, sexually offensive conduct” while at Webtrends and “made false and retaliatory allegations that other co-workers had engaged in inappropriate conduct toward her.”
The suit alleges Swetnick “engaged in unwelcome sexual innuendo and inappropriate conduct” directed at two male employees during a business lunch, with Webtrends customers present. Swetnick claimed two other employees had sexually harassed her, according to the suit.
Webtrends’ suit said it determined Swetnick had engaged in misconduct but could not find evidence to support her allegations against her colleagues. Later, the company alleged, Swetnick took medical leave and simultaneously claimed unemployment benefits in the District of Columbia.
Diane Feinstein is as irrational as the now over-referenced robber—holding back false accusations until they would inflict the most pain. Turning a blind eye to the collateral damage to an innocent family. This man watched his children traumatized, and his sparkling reputation besmirched. He got mad. Which leads me to the heart of this blog.
The left—in the stupidest argument ever—says his anger proves he is unfit to be on the Supreme Court. Listen to the Los Angeles Times editorial by David G. Savage: “Determined to clear his name, he did not just argue that Ford, whom he says he had barely known, had mistakenly identified him as the attacker she feared would rape her, or suffocate her by muffling her cries. Rather, he portrayed the accusation as a politically motivated attack by vengeful Democrats, arising from “the frenzy on the left” to “blow me up and take me down.”
Should he be confirmed, however, at a minimum his nationally televised remarks are likely to linger in Americans’ memories, further undercutting for many the notion that the high court’s decisions reflect a fair, impartial reading of the Constitution, history and precedent — and not the nine justices’ political leanings. In particular, Kavanaugh’s judicial temperament has been called into question.” After that, Saturday Night Live had a skit satirizing the Judge’s anger.
An unnamed source put this all in proper perspective: “In watching the testimony of Brett Kavanaugh, I am as angry as Mr. Kavanaugh for the absurd questions asked of him by the assortment of senators. These are the very people we elect to be fair but instead choose to embarrass themselves with questions about drinking beer, parties, his groping – all of which took place 35 years ago. If I were Judge Kavanaugh, I would tell them all where to go and walk out. The Democrats are on this rant because they want to hold the seat open just in case they win in 2020. Disgusting!”
My question to you is…what kind of a Judge, husband and father would Brett be if this did not make him angry? And what kind of people are we if we don’t plug this open sewer hearing in Washington?
Kamala Harris just made the most chilling statement I have even heard a politician make. She said California is the future of America. How big a boatload of Kool-Aid would you have to swallow to consider that a positive statement?
The last time I heard a threat like that, I was a boy and Nikita Khrushchev said, “your grandchildren will grow up under communism.” That didn’t happen. Neither will Kamala’s threat.
San Francisco was once the crown jewel of California. Today, my home town is a smoldering mess. I was there recently. It shocked me how it had degenerated. Human waste, dirty needles, and the odor of death hung over the city.
I felt a danger on the streets, I had never felt before. I wasn’t afraid of crime per se…it was more the disintegration of civilization itself. Market street was an endless line of dazed people—sitting up against the walls in lawn chairs—in front of even the swankiest stores, smoking marijuana. One report said San Francisco is now worse than some of the poorest cities in the world.
Fully 25% of America’s entire homeless population lives in Los Angeles. Cali liberals are so defensive about this, they ban videos on social media that showed the homeless camps.
California ministers can’t say they weren’t warned. I know I did my share. The last few years I lived there I made several new enemies because of the message the Holy Spirit burned in my soul.
I preached in many of the larger spirit-filled churches in the state. I was very clear: I told them we had 5 years left. I told them the things we had to do. If not, God could not use them to stem the disaster that awaited California.
Here’s what I said in a nutshell:
-You must make your church a nuclear reactor of outreach and holiness. If you do not, your church will degenerate into a hospital for disgruntled and anemic saints. In such hospitals, the patients rise up and kill the doctors. That is what is happening now.
-I said you better preach and teach the Cross, the Blood, and core Bible convictions. Arm your people with values and the reasons behind those values. Preach truth now, I said, or a day will soon come the truths you are avoiding will be banned. That happened. The user friendly message which was a mistake then, is the only one approved by government now. If it gets out that you preach moral values now, you can easlity be protested and prosecuted.
-Finally, I implored them to sharpen their rebuttal to California’s insane values on marriage, drugs, crime, prostitution laws, propaganda in childhood education. I warned them they were too busy in their isolated kingdoms to come together as one voice that could influence voters. This one was the most painful thing for me to watch. When bill after bill came before California voters, the silence of the church was deafening.
Jerry Brown accused Trump of declaring war on California. Imagine, our Attorney General Jeff Sessions came to Sacramento to enforce Federal Law and the Governor calls it a declaration of war.
Governor Brown, it is you who declared war—on your own people. You put a bulls eye on the middle class. That’s why they are leaving in droves. You made Christian parents send their kids to classrooms where their faith was bashed as bigoted and false. On your watch, California went from number one to dead last in many categories, including being named the worst state overall.
Now Kamala Harris wants to spread California to the rest of America. Wispy liberals across the nation love the idea. This is a repeat of history. The Romans worshiped and emulated Greek Culture. Then Greece rotted from within. But it was too late for Rome to change course—they rotted too. At least we have the advantage of seeing what a failure California’s culture is.
I am not giving up on California. There are millions of Christ followers there. There are thousands of pastors who putting their lives on the line every Sunday to preach the entire Gospel. There are ministries there that I will work with till Jesus comes.
Acts 20:31 says, “Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.” My messages of warning once limited to California are now nationwide. I get it. Not everyone is comfortable with my blogs. I was banned from some churches in California—I expect that ban to spread to other states.
I confess, it is disheartening that churches in other states learned nothing from the folly and cultural impotence of seeker churches in California. It knocks the wind out of me when believers don’t see—regardless of how brash he seems—Donald Trump was a deliverance from certain catastrophe under Hillary.
No matter what I will carry on. Not just because growing audience is starting to listen, or because I see the mercy drops of latter rain, but because these warnings are a part of my calling. And no, California is not in anyway America’s future.
