THE CHURCH IS WASTING THE GREATEST OPEN DOOR I HAVE EVER SEEN

Demonstrators are about to hold a massive rally in Washington D.C. Maybe one million people. This gathering will flagrantly violate the current pandemic orders. You can count on it, the protest will take place, but there will not be a single arrest made.

Meanwhile, the church stays virtually out of sight, in order to comply with rules that are nothing but a farce, pure and simple. I have never seen so many American Christians being slapped around like this.

Yet, in spite of all of this madness—and as impossible as it may seem—there is a door that has opened. There is, in fact, something earth-shaking that we can do. We are sitting on an opportunity so astounding that it could define the church in a way we have not seen since the Jesus Movement.

What we need to do is stage a rally—a rally with at least 100,000 believers. What a statement we could make! The most amazing part about this idea is how completely doable it is.

I know of just 10 ministries who, with a little backbone, and just a few phone calls, could put together such a rally within a few weeks.

And, ahem, what about you wealthy Christian artists who have taken home a boatload of money from concerts? Why not give something back? Why not use the fame God has given you to muster legions of believers to a righteous cause? Not only can we do this rally, I believe it is a matter of life and death that we do it. Evil has made it’s statement. What about us?

Sadly, even as I propose this, I am convinced these ministries will never listen to me. I am just that ‘crazy evangelist.’ But I didn’t write this because I thought they would listen—I wrote this because God told me to write it. I will leave the outcome in His hands, trusting Him to let this fall into the right hands.

Let me answer all detractors.

-If you say we shouldn’t stage this event because it is against the law: It is the shutdown of the church that was against the law, in spite of what Chief Justice John Roberts said. Anyway, at this point, with all the protests, the rules that define all the hoops churches must jump through, just to meet on Sunday, are ludicrous.

The recent demonstrations taking place all over the nation prove the shutdown was bogus. Now, we, the church, must let go of fear—we must challenge this double- standard with a rally of our own. Let’s invoke the Constitution, not the criminal edicts of rogue governors in blue states.

God has people everywhere, even in the highest level of State Governments. Surely, someone reading this is in government, and has the clout to get this rally off the ground.

-If you say that our actions will be misunderstood, then you are not thinking it through: No matter what the church does, or has ever done, misunderstanding is unavoidable. Later in this blog, I will lay out what I believe needs to be said at the rally. We need to have a different message than the one everyone else is chanting.

-The government will shut us down, and some of us might get arrested. Yeah, and how would that look?  MAYBE IT’S WHAT AMERICA NEEDS TO SEE! That would be the visual the leftists can’t risk playing out on the evening news. That is why I know we will not be arrested and we will not be stopped.

Deal with it! It is not the government, the media or even the devil that is holding the church back, at this point—it is our own fears.  We didn’t used to scare this easy. We have an American legacy for rallies. Below is the picture of Billy Graham speaking to well over 150,000 people in Times Square New York City.

So, what shall we say at the rally? First, I will tell you what we should never say:

We should not waste time repenting of ‘white privilege.’ Leaders who do that, look ridiculous. Leave that repentance to those who are truly racist. If we take the race route, we will just become background noise. We need to tell America something they don’t already know.

A vast number of rational people believe that “white privilege” is itself a racist term. Those who avidly believe in white privilege will never accept your apology, anyway. To conservatives, you’ll come off like a grandstanding buffoon. To the Left, you are just feeding them a sound-bite that will be used against you, later.

We should not pontificate about our nation’s historical sins.  This is not a time to impress America with how “woke” you are, neither about history nor the evils that have been done by our ancestors. Again, that is just tedious droning.

We should not offer the tired platitude that: “while we hate the sin, we love the sinner.” Why squander valuable time reassuring people that we are nice?

And what is the big reason we should avoid all of these subjects?  It is that they are merely attempts at making us look good. They do not glorify God.

What then should we say at this rally?

1. A prayer. We should offer a prayer of repentance to God and not to man. The church with one voice should cry out to God for mercy. We should ask the Lord to hear our cry above the noise of the wickedness of violence, perversion, atheism, the betrayal of lukewarm believers, and the division that exists among denominations.

2. A declaration. One that says “justice can only come through the love of God.” We should declare the words of Martin Luther King: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

And that takes us directly to the final message.

3. We need to tell them that Jesus died on the Cross for them. Ever since we quit mentioning the Cross, we have lost power and influence among Americans. The message that Christ died for us all, softens the hearts of many who are argumentative about God. The devil has convinced us that we dare not mention the Cross. What a lie! It is the Cross that touches hearts. It is the Cross that proves Black Lives Matter.

Spurgeon said this: “Men stand out against the law of God, and defy the vengeance of God; but the love of God in Christ Jesus disarms them. The Holy Spirit causes men to yield through the softening influence of the Cross. A bleeding Savior makes men throw down their weapons of rebellion. ‘If he loves me so,’ they say, ‘I cannot do other than love him in return.’”

If we could resist the temptation to wander into the swamp of guilt and liberalism, we could simply make the case for God’s power. We would then overcome the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony.

Time is running out. If the church does nothing, we are on a slippery slope from which there is no recovery. Somebody who has the chops to do this: please obey God, before it is too late. As John Adams once said, “Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”

You better be praying because tonight’s debate is totally rigged

Mario wrote this before the debate. Everything he said happened the way he said it would.   If you haven’t read it read it now.  If you have read it—read it again…the most widely shared blog in our history.

You better be praying because tonight’s debate is totally rigged

There will be no fairness tonight.  There will be no balance.  You are about to witness a kangaroo court.  Hillary will get zero tough questions.  Trump will get only loaded questions.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that a plurality (46%) of Likely U.S. Voters believes most moderators will try to help Clinton in the upcoming debates. Only six percent (6%) think they will try to help Trump instead. Just 32% say most of the moderators will try to be unbiased, while 15% are undecided.

The entire night will be an infomercial for Hillary.  She will be declared the most experienced person ever to run for president. Trump will be portrayed a virtual Adolf Hitler.

Nothing will be said about Benghazi, Emails, Whitewater, The Clinton Foundation, and the 20 other scandals she has created.  You will only hear remarks about Trump that “prove” he is hateful to women, racist and lacks the temperament to be president.

The goal of tonight’s debate is to rescue Hillary and to repudiate Trump.

Here—by the numbers—is why I am right about tonight:

1. Lester Holt will go Candy Crowley.  Remember the 2012 debate? Candy Crowley repeatedly interrupted Mitt Romney and gave Obama much more time to speak.  When Romney raised a killer point about Obama, Crowley literally shut him down and went to a commercial.

Lester Holt has already signaled that he will do what Candy Crowley did.   CNN’s Brian Stelter says Lester Holt is signaling to his NBC colleagues that he may enter the fray in Monday night’s presidential debate as a participant rather than a moderator — thanks to intense left-wing backlash over Matt Lauer’s performance at the “Commander in Chief Forum” weeks ago.

lester-holt-candy-crowley-640x4802.  The left will destroy moderators who are fair to Trump.  Matt Lauer was eviscerated by the left for being fair to Trump in the Commander in Chief forum. All of the moderators are under intense pressure to see Hillary win the debate.  They know they it could be a career ender to let Trump win.

3. Obama. He ordered the FBI not to recommend an indictment against Hillary. He ordered the Justice Department to stone wall congress and refuse to release evidence that would incriminate her.  Obama has protected her every step of the way.  He has—without a doubt—exerted extreme pressure on the moderators to let her win.

4. Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, USA Today, The New York Times, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN and PBS are all firmly in Hillary’s camp. They will take tonight’s debate and spin it into a fair fight that Hillary won fair and square. Any reporting to the contrary will censored.

5. Total desperation: All of the people and media outlets I have named are now totally desperate.  They realize that Hillary is a terrible candidate.  They will gladly risk the appearance of bias if it is only the only way to save her.  It is now a no-holds-barred smack down of Trump by a band of bloodthirsty leftists who will stop at nothing to get her elected.

For his part Trump only has to do three things to win tonight and to become president.

  1. He has to remind America that her treatment of women is a basket of deplorables.  She—rather than blame her husband—has worked to ruin women that her husband raped.  I do not know any way to treat women worse.
2. He has to show that she will not keep America safe.  She has promised to make the Supreme Court a leftist activist arm of government. She will increase the number of Muslim immigrants from Syria by 500%.  She has promised to continue the failure of Obama in dealing with ISIS. She has sided with rioters against the police.  She will not hear America’s cry for help any more than she heard the cries of the 4 Americans who died in Benghazi.
3. He must expose the lie of her experience. The very experience she touts as qualifying her for the White House is—in fact—the very reason to reject her. She has been in government for 30 years and cannot point to one accomplishment.  Her record is a blank slate.  Now she says she is going to do all of these things if she is elected.  Why would anyone believe that?
In my opinion these are killer points that will destroy her candidacy.   If Donald Trump calmly makes these points, it is over for her.  It’s just too bad that he will not be allowed to make them…unless of course, there’s a miracle.  Pray.

Ted Cruz: Why I am voting for Trump. Why You should too.

Ted Cruz: Why I am voting for Trump.  Why You should too.

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

I’ve made this decision for two reasons. First, last year, I promised to support the Republican nominee. And I intend to keep my word.

Second, even though I have had areas of significant disagreement with our nominee, by any measure Hillary Clinton is wholly unacceptable — that’s why I have always been #NeverHillary.

Six key policy differences inform my decision. First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices “in the mold of Scalia.”

For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.

Second, Obamacare. The failed healthcare law is hurting millions of Americans. If Republicans hold Congress, leadership has committed to passing legislation repealing Obamacare. Clinton, we know beyond a shadow of doubt, would veto that legislation. Trump has said he would sign it.

Third, energy. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry. Trump has said he will reduce regulations and allow the blossoming American energy renaissance to create millions of new high-paying jobs.

Fourth, immigration. Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama’s lawless executive amnesty. Trump has promised that he would revoke those illegal executive orders.

Fifth, national security. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists. Trump has promised to stop the deluge of unvetted refugees.

Sixth, Internet freedom. Clinton supports Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international community of stakeholders, including Russia, China, and Iran. Just this week, Trump came out strongly against that plan, and in support of free speech online.

These are six vital issues where the candidates’ positions present a clear choice for the American people.

If Clinton wins, we know — with 100% certainty — that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country.

My conscience tells me I must do whatever I can to stop that.

We also have seen, over the past few weeks and months, a Trump campaign focusing more and more on freedom — including emphasizing school choice and the power of economic growth to lift African-Americans and Hispanics to prosperity.

Finally, after eight years of a lawless Obama administration, targeting and persecuting those disfavored by the administration, fidelity to the rule of law has never been more important.

The Supreme Court will be critical in preserving the rule of law. And, if the next administration fails to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then I hope that Republicans and Democrats will stand united in protecting our fundamental liberties.

Our country is in crisis. Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.

A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don’t want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.

Mario Murillo Ministries: Stopping the Nation Killing Machine

Stopping the Nation Killing Machine

By Mario Murillo

Hollywood, pop singers, sports figures, politicians, tech giants like Google, Apple and Amazon along with countless college professors are turning our children’s minds into a nation-killing machine.

This coalition has untold billions of dollars at their disposal.  They control the airwaves—and through Obama and Clinton, the FBI and the IRS.  They can rig elections.

Months ago this would have sounded like a tinfoil cone conspiracy—not anymore.

Now let’s talk about what God is doing.

As a kid, I liked monster movies.  (We are indeed in a monster movie right now.)  Those of you old enough to remember the black and white monster movies featured giant insects, aliens and people.  The culprit was almost always the A-Bomb tests.

There were two elements in those movies: 1. A dark moment of hopelessness when all weapons failed.  2. A controversial scientist who worked out of a barn.

The military reluctantly had to use the weapon from the barn…the monster was defeated.

I freely admit that Mario Murillo Ministries is that scientist working out of the barn.  When this beast of political correctness first oozed out of the swamp, we started warning the church.

We declared that signs and wonders and the conviction of the Holy Spirit are the only weapons for a brain-washed generation.

We declared that we needed to stop fearing politicians and call them out.

We said young minds needed to hear why the teaching of Jesus is divine and they needed to hear the truth about American history.

Then the name-calling and ridicule began.  We were told it would never work.  We were roundly criticized and rejected.  None of this stopped us from finishing our divine training under the Holy Spirit.

Then came the summer of 2016.  The weapon came out of the barn and leaders began to see how it is exactly what is needed.  october-4

The images you see in this blog are snapshots of outreach this summer.  It was a summer of supernatural transformations and no compromise.

Leaders see how the make nice gospel is only making things worse.  Influential pastors are breaking with tradition and joining us on the frontline.  Most of all…there is a growing recognition that this weapon can kill the monster.

In an added piece of exciting news…phase one of our World Headquarters is now complete.  We have secured…and paid cash for a suite of offices in Sparks, Nevada.  The name of our offices is The War Room.  This is our new “barn” and brain center for the next phase of our national invasion to bring Living Proof to the youth of America.

HOW A YOUNG MIKE PENCE BROKE FROM DEEP FAMILY TRADITION TO BOLDLY SERVE CHRIST.

Embracing Evangelical Christianity, a Young Mike Pence Broke With His Family

By JONATHAN MAHLER and DIRK JOHNSON  JULY 20, 2016

When Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana was in college, he found himself admiring a gold cross hanging from the neck of his fraternity “big brother.”

The response he received left such a powerful impression that he would recall it decades later on the floor of Congress.

“Remember, Mike, you have got to wear it in your heart before you wear it around your neck,” Mr. Pence said his fraternity brother told him.

Soon after this exchange, at a Christian music festival in Kentucky, Mr. Pence took a very different sort of pledge from the one he had taken to join Phi Gamma Delta. “I gave my life to Jesus Christ,” he recalled years later, “and that’s changed everything.”

It was a decision that would redefine Mr. Pence, setting him on the path to becoming an evangelical Christian and one of the country’s most outwardly religious and socially conservative legislators.

But it also caused him to break with two institutions that had been central to the Pence family: the Roman Catholic Church and the Democratic Party.

Mr. Pence, 57, who will accept the Republican nomination for vice president on Wednesday night, is the only one of six Pence siblings who is no longer part of the Catholic Church. Though the family remains close, his embrace of evangelical Christianity was long a source of disappointment to his mother, according to the Rev. Clement T. Davis, the priest at the church in Columbus, Ind., where Mr. Pence was baptized.

The family’s Irish Catholic roots run deep. Mr. Pence’s maternal grandfather, with whom he was especially close, came to America in 1923 from Ireland and settled in Chicago, where he eventually became a bus driver.

The family idolized John F. Kennedy, the nation’s first Irish-Catholic president. As a teenager, Mike Pence was the youth coordinator for the Bartholomew County Democrats.

All four of the Pence brothers were altar boys at their church, St. Columba, and attended its parochial school. They were at church six days a week, sometimes seven, if they were serving Saturday Mass. Even after they all went off to college, the church would call the Pence house during vacations or over the summer when it was in need of an altar boy.

“Our life revolved around the church,” Gregory Pence, one of Mr. Pence’s two older brothers, said in an interview, adding that he still went to morning Mass there a few times a week with his mother.

But at Hanover College, a small liberal-arts college in Indiana near the banks of the Ohio River, Mr. Pence came to feel that something was missing from his spiritual life. The Catholicism of his youth, with its formality and rituals, had not given him the intimacy with God that he now found himself craving.

“I began to meet young men and women who talked about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,” he said years later in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network. “That had not been a part of my experience.”

Still, it was not easy for him to leave behind the church in which he had been raised. After graduation, he worked as a Catholic youth minister and even considered becoming a priest. He described himself for years as “an evangelical Catholic.” Friends say he wrestled with how to square his religious past and his religious future.

“He was part of a movement of people, I’ll call it, who had grown up Catholic and still loved many things about the Catholic Church, but also really loved the concept of having a very personal relationship with Christ,” said Patricia Bailey, who became close to Mr. Pence when she and her husband, Mark, worked with him at a law firm in Indianapolis in the mid-1980s.

Mr. Pence’s wife, Karen, was also part of that movement. They met when he was in law school at Indiana University and spotted her playing guitar in a church choir in Indianapolis. After they started dating, she bought a gold cross with the word “Yes” engraved on it, and kept it stashed away in her purse until he proposed.

“She’s been very much a part of his faith journey,” said Mark Bailey, who often started his day by praying with Mr. Pence in one of their offices at the law firm. “He would refer to his wife as the prayer warrior of the family.”

By the mid-1990s, Mr. Pence and his wife were attending an evangelical church in Indianapolis. Years later, the break from Catholicism still stung his mother, Nancy, according to Father Davis, who has been the priest at her church, now called St. Bartholomew, since 1997 and has grown close to her.

“You could see Nancy just shake her head about it,” Father Davis said inside the rectory before Mass on Saturday. “She was disappointed. She had hoped he could find his way back to the church.”

Others in Columbus who knew the Pence family were also surprised. “They were just known as such a big Catholic family,” said Janie Gordon, a friend of Mr. Pence’s from high school.

Mr. Pence’s mother declined to comment. The governor also declined to be interviewed about his conversion, but he authorized his brother to speak about his family’s faith.

As Mr. Pence’s faith was changing, so were his politics. He voted for Jimmy Carter in 1980 but soon gravitated to Ronald Reagan, and to the Republican Party’s staunch opposition to abortion.

His evangelical Christianity is now the driving force behind his political agenda, whether he is working to deny federal funds to Planned Parenthood or to make it legal for religious conservatives to refuse to serve gay couples.

“I sign this law with a prayer that God would continue to bless these precious children, mothers and families,” he said in March, putting his pen to a sweeping abortion bill prohibiting a woman from aborting a fetus because it has a disability such as Down syndrome. (A federal judge blocked the law last month.)

“Pence doesn’t simply wear his faith on his sleeve, he wears the entire Jesus jersey,” Brian Howey, a political columnist in Indiana, once put it.

During Mr. Pence’s days on Capitol Hill, he would not attend events without his wife if alcohol was being served. Fellow representatives sometimes joked about the need to clean up their language when he was approaching them in the halls of Congress.

Mr. Pence would not even engage in attack ads, having sworn off negative campaigning after running a particularly nasty and unsuccessful congressional race earlier in his political career. “Christ Jesus came to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all,” he wrote after the election, quoting a line from Scripture.

When Mr. Pence was in a tight race for governor in 2012, his media strategist, Rex Elsass, invoked a different line from the Bible in an effort to persuade him that attacks from his Democratic opponent justified a direct and forceful response, as long as it was truthful, Mr. Elsass recalled. Mr. Pence refused.

In recent days, however, he has not hesitated to hammer Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee: He has called her “corrupt Hillary,” mimicking Donald J. Trump’s label “crooked Hillary.”

When Mr. Pence returned to his alma mater in 2008 to deliver a commencement address, his speech built toward what he considered to be the most profound experience of his college career.

“There was one other person I met during my years here who changed my life more than all the friends and family combined,” he said, referring to Jesus Christ. “Thirty years ago this spring, I embraced the truth,” he continued, before quoting a verse from Scripture.

Today, Mr. Pence and his wife often worship at College Park Church, an evangelical megachurch in Indianapolis with three huge video screens, colored spotlights and Christian bands.

On Sunday, the day after Mr. Trump formally introduced Mr. Pence as his running mate in Midtown Manhattan, they sat in the balcony of the theater-style auditorium there, standing and clapping in rhythm with the music.

Several church members talked about their experiences of deepening their faith in God. One woman told of being raised Catholic before “accepting Jesus as my savior” and joining with like-minded evangelical Christians.

There was no talk of Mr. Pence or the election, but one song, its lyrics flashing across the big screens, encouraged the faithful: “Set your church on fire, win this nation back.”

It was a far cry from the wooden pews and kneelers of St. Columba, the austere Catholic church of Mr. Pence’s youth.

Gregory Pence said he did not see his brother’s turn to evangelical Christianity as a rejection of their Catholic upbringing, but rather as a reflection of the fact that he had different spiritual needs.

The two of them still pray together, just not usually in church. Indeed, Gregory said that when his brother called after learning that Mr. Trump had chosen him as his running mate, they wept and swapped verses from Scripture. (“Well done, my good and faithful servant,” Gregory Pence told his brother.)

He declined to say whether he had been supporting Mr. Trump before his brother joined the ticket. But asked if he thought his brother might have had some doubts about signing on with a man whose résumé includes three wives and a casino empire, and who liberally invokes coarse language and imagery, he answered without hesitation.

“Judge not lest ye be judged,” he said.

Obama Invites 18.7 Million Immigrants to Avoid Oath of Allegiance Pledge to Defend America

Obama Invites 18.7 Million Immigrants to Avoid Oath of Allegiance, Pledge to Defend America

It’s not only illegal aliens who are escaping enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws.

Under the Obama administration’s expansive interpretation of executive authority,  legal immigrants seeking citizenship through the nation’s Naturalization process are now exempt from a key part of the Oath of Allegiance.

Immigrants seeking to become citizens no longer have to pledge to “bear arms on behalf of the United States.” They can opt out of that part of the Oath. Nor do they have to cite any specific religious belief that forbids them to perform military service.

According to the Naturalization Fact Sheet on the US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) website, In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, the nation welcomed 729,995 Legal Permanent Residents into full citizenship.

  • Over the past decade 6.6 million have been naturalized through a process that ends with the Oath of Allegiance.
  • In the decade 1980-1990, the average number completing Naturalization was only 220,000 annually, but from 1990 to 2000 that number jumped to over 500,000  annually.
  • 1,050,399  new citizens were welcomed in the year 2008.
  • 18.7 million immigrants are eligible to eventually become citizens, and 8.8 million already meet the 5-year residency requirement.

The pledge to help defend America was good enough for the 6.6 million immigrants naturalized since 2005 and good enough for the over 15 million naturalized since 1980, but Obama’s appointees at the USCIS think that is too much to ask of the 18.7 million estimated legal immigrants eligible today for eventual naturalization or the 750,000 who will be naturalized in the coming year.

This radical change was announced a year ago, in July of 2015. Congress did not enact the change in new legislation. There was no congressional debate, no filibuster in the US Senate, and no sit-in in the House to demand that a bill to repeal the USCIS action be brought to a vote.

No, this radical change was implemented while Congress slept. Like other Obama actions to undermine our immigration laws, the Republican-controlled Congress has not used its constitutional powers to reverse the administrative action. Thank God many states are stepping up to fill that void.

This week, the US Supreme Court let stand a federal district court ruling invalidating Obama’s unconstitutional “DACA” amnesty.

By a 4-4 tie vote, the Supreme Court declined to review the Circuit Court’s ruling upholding the Houston district court decision. Therefore, it is now the law and Obama’s DACA amnesty is voided. If Justice Scalia were still alive and participating in the case, it would have been a 5-4 ruling because the “swing vote,” Associate Justice Kennedy, voted with Justices Alito, Roberts and Thomas.

Where was Congress? Why did it take a lawsuit by the Governors and Attorneys General of 26 states to overturn Obama’s unconstitutional actions?

It’s true that other Presidents have made changes in the Naturalization process by administrative decree and without congressional approval. In 2002, in the wake of the 9-11 terrorist attack, President George Bush by executive order expedited the naturalization process for 89,000 immigrants serving in the armed forces. While many will agree with Bush’s action and even applaud, that change should have been done by act of Congress, not a presidential executive order.

In fact, most Americans will think it extremely odd that the USCIS action with regard to the Oath of Allegiance is not illegal. But the fact is, unelected bureaucrats at the USCIS can change the wording of the Oath without approval of the people’s representatives in Congress. Strange as it sounds, the law as it stands today allows USCIS bureaucrats great leeway in managing the Naturalization process, so Obama’s actions will not be challenged in federal court.

Yet, in view of Obama’s actions, why doesn’t Congress change the law and take control of the Oath of Allegiance? So far, there is no indication that the Republican leadership will do so. If they won’t even bar Islamic terrorists from the refugee program, why should we expect them to protect the Oath of Allegiance? Some members of Congress will grumble, make speeches and issue press releases, but the Republican leadership will do nothing.

Such is the state of the nation as we approach this 240th anniversary of the  Declaration of Independence. Some Americans see great irony in the British declaring their independence from the tyranny of Brussels while Americans quietly accept the new tyranny of Washington, DC.

Bringing Living Proof to a city that was left to die

By Mario Murillo

Before seven days pass, Mario Murillo Ministries will be able to say something astounding:  “We invaded the nation’s worst crystal meth region and then we invaded America’s most dangerous city.   While Yuba City still vibrates with the Spirit of God, we are already putting boots on the ground in Flint, Michigan.”

The picture you see is a major miracle.  That was when the mayor of Flint gave us the key to the city and proclaimed June 29th Mario Murillo Ministries’ day!  This weekend we return after several years.

Mario in Flint copy

Nearly 1.1 million people have now read this blog.  Our regular readers are the most dangerous Christians in the world.  I know you by your comments.  You are alarmed at the disaster in America, but you are confident about God’s power to save our nation.

There is another thing about our regular readers that is amazing…they are, well, readers.   Facebook is making some people stupid.  (Facebook is even now listed as a top factor in divorce!)  This social media is a parade of catchy videos.  Reading is a lost art.

A person who reads something that makes them think is even rarer. That makes the success of this blog even more amazing.

Our regular readers need no explanation about why we are going to Flint, but others might.   So why are we going to America’s most dangerous city?   Let me answer that question with another question. Can you think of a better place for the miracles of Jesus to appear?  This phrase that ignited Yuba City also applies to Flint: “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”

Mario Murillo Ministries believes in applying supernatural change where it is needed most.  Our battle cry is: “In the Name of Jesus, where there are devils, they are coming out, where there is disease and addiction, healing is coming in!”

Flint has a crime rate that is seven times higher than the national average. I am not trying to sell you on the misery and despair that oozes from Flint.  There is no way to really show you the epidemic of addiction and violence.  No city in America has been decimated the way Flint has.  If you could be here with me you would find it hard to believe that this is an American city.

No place in America embodies the devastating impact of empty-headed liberalism and corporate greed like Flint, Michigan.  Here is an American city left to die because General Motors and the Unions could not compromise.   Both of these groups used the good people of Flint as a bat to beat each other to death.  GM and the Union survived, but the city did not.

Then something worse arrived: the government.

If you were to pick the one thing that does the opposite of its intended purpose, it would be government programs.  They are an epic waste of money.Geneva

One huge reason we are back in Flint is Geneva Spears.  She has prayed and shared the Gospel in Flint for 30 years.  Here she is, doing what she does so well, rallying people to pray and leading them into revival.   It is an honor to work with her again.

My greatest conviction is revival.  There is no substitute for a moral awakening.  It is not simply the best thing, it is the only thing.   I am going to Flint to answer a question deep in my soul; if Satan can make Flint a trophy of hell, why can’t God make it a trophy of heaven?

I am asking for your prayers for this great endeavor.  And, if you live near this region join us for these amazing meetings.

BALTIMORE (CBS BALTIMORE) — A Maryland sheriff who traveled to Baltimore to help law enforcement stop Monday’s riots told 105.7 The Fan that he was stunned when officers alerted him of the orders to stand down.

Michael Lewis is the Sheriff in Wicomico County, and was also a Sergeant with the Maryland State Police. He joined Ed Norris and Steve Davis on Thursday to talk about the alleged controversial orders the police were given during the riots.

Lewis said it wasn’t his intention to come to Baltimore, a drive of about two hours, but he felt it was his duty to help.

“I hadn’t planned to go to Baltimore at all. I watched the events unfold Saturday night like we all did, and was very concerned about what I saw, and the the lack of response Saturday night,” he said. “I immediately rallied up the troops. We made sure our MRAP was prepared and ready. … We were assigned to assigned to protect Baltimore City Police headquarters, all of E. Fayette Street up to City Hall, to include City Hall. There wasn’t a whole lot of activity taking place at all. We could smell that putrid smell of burning tires and a city on fire when as we came into the city. Had lots of concerns like everyone else. We maintained our post all night long until we were relieved.”

But what shocked him the most, he said, was when city police told him not to confront and accost the rioters.

“I was sick to my stomach like everybody else. … This was urban warfare, no question about it. They were coming in absolutely beaten down. The [city officers] got out of their vehicles, thanked us profusely for being there, apologized to us for having to be there. They said we could have handled this, we were very capable of handling this, but we were told to stand down, repeatedly told to stand down,” he said. “I had never heard that order come from anyone — we went right out to our posts as soon as we got there, so I never heard the mayor say that. But repeatedly these guys, and there were many high-ranking officials from the Baltimore City Police Department … and these guys told me they were essentially neutered from the start. They were spayed from the start. They were told to stand down, you will not take any action, let them destroy property. I couldn’t believe it, I’m a 31-year veteran of law enforcement. … I had never heard anything like this before in my life and these guys obviously aren’t gonna speak out and the more I thought about this, … I had to say a few things. I apologize if I’ve upset people, but I believe in saying it like it is.”

Lewis said though he didn’t hear the order to stand down come from the mayor, he did hear it from police officials.

“I heard it myself over the Baltimore City police radio that I had tethered to my body-armor vest, I heard it repeatedly. ‘Stand down, stand down, stand down! Back up, back up, retreat, retreat!’ I couldn’t believe those words. Those are words I’ve never heard in my law enforcement vocabulary,” he said. “Baltimore City police, all law enforcement agencies are very capable of handling that city. They’re trained to handle that city. These guys were hearing words that had never been echoed in their lives, in their careers.”

Lewis claims after the riots many officers told him they were done being cops in the city and how heartbroken they are that they were not allowed to defend their city and stop businesses from burning.

AL SHARPTON DODGES RACISM DEBATE AT OXFORD

AL SHARPTON DODGES RACISM DEBATE AT OXFORD UNION, WILL DELIVER PREPARED SPEECH

This Friday, the Oxford Union in London will hold a debate about race relations in the United States. MSNBC host Al Sharpton accepted an invitation to the event, but after confirming he would be one of the participants to propose the motion that the United States is “institutionally racist,” he did an about face, shocking his esteemed hosts.

Sharpton was supposed to defend his proposition along with Black Panther leader Aaron Dixon and liberal blogger Mychal Denzel Smith, while SiriusXM host, Breitbart News, and Fox News Contributor David Webb; conservative commentator Joe R. Hicks; and BBC radio host Charlie Wolf would oppose the motion in a structured Oxford-style debate.

The Oxford Union has committed to continue with the debate, which will be held this Friday, January 23rd. The debate details are on their website at oxford-union.org.

Sources have indicated that Sharpton, who is an informal adviser to both President Obama and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, has asked Oxford for an opportunity to speak but not debate the counter argument. “He wants to control the event, because he won’t debate the facts and the real issues including how his own conduct impacts race relations in the U.S.,” stated Webb. “He doesn’t want to be exposed for what he really is – a shakedown artist and racial coward. After years of conning people into giving him money by fanning the flames of racism, he’s just too afraid to have a civil, fact-based conversation about the issues of race in America.”

Oxford will allow Sharpton to speak for 20 minutes before the debate but will also have to answer questions from the audience, Webb, Hicks, and Wolf. The Oxford union, to its credit, is attempting to keep its history of fair debate intact. Webb was assured by the Oxford Union president Lisa Wehden that the opposing side will have an opportunity to ask questions of the Sharpton following his structured remarks. “It would be wrong to allow Sharpton to get away with just his usual thin, inflammatory rhetoric when this is supposed to be a substantive discussion,” said Webb.

Sharpton had a rough year in 2014, with criticism coming from all sides. Most recently, Sharpton’s comments following the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases came under fire for creating a racially charged environment in New York and elsewhere that has pundits and citizens have alleged led to more violence against police across America. The New York Times investigated the long-rumored issue of tax evasion, claiming that Sharpton owes more than $4 million in back taxes. And, while Sharpton railed against law enforcement, The Smoking Gun reported that he was a paid FBI snitch in the 1980s.

The debate will be taped and aired on David Webb’s SiriusXM Patriot radio show Monday, January 26 at 9PM Eastern time. Additional coverage by Breitbart News, Fox News Network, and worldwide media is expected. The Oxford Union YouTube channel will have the full debate following its conclusion.
