FREEDOM

When the racists call everyone else racist—when the fascists call everyone else fascists—when those who are full of hate—call everyone else haters, and society listens, then freedom is, truly, just a candle in the wind.

When the Left says that words can be the same as violence, and then they are found to be guilty by their own inflammatory words and actions, then freedom is a candle in the wind.

As John Daniel Davidson said, “Is it not divisive and inflammatory for Democrats to refuse to enforce our borders while promising to give taxpayer-paid health care to illegal immigrants? Is it not divisive and inflammatory for sports stars and corporations to denounce the Betsy Ross flag and the national anthem as racist? Doesn’t that exacerbate a feeling of helplessness and dispossession, and fuel a whole spectrum of responses—from ordinary patriotism to outright xenophobia and racism?”

When thugs don masks and beat innocent people in MAGA hats and these terrorists are coddled by Democrats and leftist media, then freedom is a candle in the wind.

Elizabeth Warren—who is still uncertain of her own race—blamed Donald Trump for “advancing racism and white supremacy.” She and the others on the Left are all but calling for a race war. When war is declared and the side that does not want war is blamed for the war, then freedom is a candle in the wind.

Worst of all, we see how evil they are, that they can immediately politicize a massacre.  They don’t care about the victims of the shootings. Bullets tore into the bodies of innocent people. Did any of the voices of manufactured outrage care anything for the families who lost everything in an instant? The shattered lives do not matter to them. The incurable sorrow will get no compassion from them.  To them, these families are just a photo opportunity—a prop to be used to alarm a nation into voting for them.

Instantly, Beto O’Rourke said that President Trump was a “racist” and had “a lot to do with what happened in El Paso yesterday.” Sen. Cory Booker was even more blunt, saying, “Donald Trump is responsible for this.” When masses of people can’t see how evil this is, then freedom is a candle in the wind.

Most sane people reject the Right Wing conspiracy theory that says international corporate and political elites in the West are intentionally replacing their native populations with immigrants, in order to enrich themselves.

However, the Left isn’t trying to deny this.  The New York Times ran a Michelle Goldberg column under the headline, “We Can Replace Them,” which closed with this line: “In a week, American voters can do to white nationalists what they fear most. Show them they’re being replaced.”

Again John Daniel Davidson says, “This isn’t a new idea on the Left, and it isn’t relegated to the fringe. Back in 2002, Ruy Teixeira and John Judis came out with “The Emerging Democratic Majority,” which popularized and mainstreamed the idea that white Americans would be replaced by a permanent majority coalition of non-white voters. Ten years later, after President Obama’s reelection, Teixeira took to the the pages of The Atlantic to argue that things were playing out just as he had predicted, and that if Democrats could keep giving Americans what they truly wanted—more welfare, more regulation, more government control over daily life—then “the emerging Democratic majority could be here to stay.”

More recently, turning the white nationalists’ “replacement” rhetoric on its head has become commonplace among Antifa protestors chanting “we will replace you,” a sentiment powerfully reinforced by the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protestors who recently tore down an American flag outside an ICE facility and replaced it with the Mexican flag.”

When such utter tyranny can advance unchecked, and is protected by a news media that is corrupt to the core, then freedom is a candle in the wind.

However, freedom’s greatest enemy does not reside in the camp of leftists, but in the pews of churches. A soundly sleeping generation of believers is our greatest enemy. Their apathy is our deepest danger.

But all is not lost.

History shows us that God does not wait for the lukewarm to rise to their duty. Our God is a consuming fire.  Do you wonder, why God doesn’t do something? You see America being torn apart, battered into submission, and molded into some ugly weak version of her former self. All in the name of progress. When those who are the moral bottom of society become the loudest voices of influence, shouldn’t God act?

I believe He is acting. But it is happening in a wholly unexpected way. He is at war to save our nation. The real question is, “Are you ready to understand what your assignment is in His war to save America?”

In a last-ditch effort to save America, God will pour out His Spirit. It will not be within the “system” but outside celebrated circles. It will restore much of Spirit-filled Pentecostal churches from business-model-entertainment-centers back to a movement.  Many small churches will become ground zero for the Glory of God.

This event will not be painless. Wicked agendas will topple. False doctrine will die an early death due to the healthy appetite of young converts. Church empires will be given the ultimatum to return to dependency on the Holy Spirit or be brushed aside, and suffer total loss.

God’s miracle will be a great boon to some, but a horrendous event for others. It will be a day of rejoicing and a day of mourning. It will be a complete display of extremes. God will do what He has to do to save this nation.

In this hour, it is not enough to be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit—not nearly enough. Every soldier of God must know what God is doing in their time. The New Testament begins and ends with the drama of willing vessels having their lives interrupted, ruined for mortal pursuits, commissioned for great exploits, and then launched into an amazing adventure.

Monsters

America is reeling with horror over mass shootings. And, instantly, we are flooded with opinions about why. Many who offer opinions do not want answers, they only want a platform on which to rant and rave. Facts are a stranger in our calamity.

Is someone standing behind the curtain pushing America to extremes—setting us at each other’s throats in order to destroy this nation?

Monsters have come to Main Street. It seems like our nation is in an episode of The Twilight Zone entitled Monsters are Due on Maple Street.  The intro to the episode feels eerily appropriate:

“Maple Street, U.S.A., late summer.  A tree-lined little world of front porch gliders, barbecues, the laughter of children, and the bell of an ice cream vendor. At the sound of the roar and the flash of light, it will be precisely 6:43 P.M. on Maple Street…This is Maple Street on a late Saturday afternoon. Maple Street in the last calm and reflective moment – before the monsters came.”

What happens next in this story parallels what is happening to us: the roar and flash of light was an alien spacecraft, as aliens are sent to take over the world. But instead of attacking, they hide and manipulate the paranoia and pre-existing hate within humans to get them to kill each other.  In our case it is not aliens, but an ancient being far more wicked and powerful. Now, back to our story.

Suddenly the power goes out and the people take to the street.  A young boy named Tommy tells them a story about aliens and how they have taken human form and live among us. Then, in the story, the aliens are living as a family that only appears to be human, but who are actually alien scouts. The power outage is meant to isolate the neighborhood.

Peter van Horn offers to go over to the next street and see if they have also lost power. While he is gone the fear and suspicion intensifies. Cars won’t start, and then suddenly they do, causing people to wonder if the owner is an alien.

A shadowy figure carrying a hammer is seen walking toward them. Tommy exclaims, “It is the monster!”  Don obtains a shotgun, claiming it may be necessary for protection, which Steve, the voice of sanity in the group quickly confiscates, claiming, “No one is going to shoot anyone.” As the figure gets closer, Charlie, the hothead, panics, grabs the shotgun, and shoots the figure, believing it to be an alien. When the crowd reaches the fallen figure, they realize it is Pete van Horn, returning from his scouting mission on the next street over, and he is now dead.

Lights begin flashing on and off in houses throughout the neighborhood; lawn mowers and car engines start and stop for no apparent reason. The mob becomes hysterical, hurling accusations, smashing windows, and taking up weapons as the situation devolves into an all-out riot.

The scene cuts to a nearby hilltop, where it is revealed that the shadow that flew overhead is, indeed, an alien spaceship. Its crew are watching the riot on Maple Street while using a device to manipulate the neighborhood’s power. They comment on how “simply fiddling with consistency” leads people to descend into paranoia and panic, and that this is a pattern that can be exploited. They also discuss their intention to use this strategy to conquer Earth, one neighborhood at a time.

Now we return back to our present situation.  No one in their right mind believes these shootings are justified. They are horrendous, cowardly, and evil. But, evil is working both sides of the street.

The Left has seized these mass shootings for political gain. Heavy.com instantly claimed that the El Paso shooter was a Trump supporter. What is the inference here? Trump supporters must be stopped!

Democratic Presidential hopefuls Amy Klobuchar and Beto O’Rourke faced sharp criticism for blaming Trump for mass shootings. Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe tweeted this ” How many more people have to DIE violent deaths at racist hands before impeaching the president for inciting white nationalist terrorism and violence is taken as seriously as impeaching him for obstructing justice? The real national emergency is Donald J. Trump’s terrorism.”

While most in the Democrat party have distanced themselves from that remark, it is their unspoken opinion.  Those words are not meant to heal. They are meant to do what the aliens in our story are doing—to incite hatred and chaos, with a view to taking control.

The Left is not trying to defuse the situation or bring comfort. They are solely interested in using mass shootings for their political ends. What they don’t know is that they are being used by an infinitely more evil being.

A friend of mine, who is a Bible scholar with a PhD, made the following observations about what is happening on Main Street.

“The endgame for Satan is to supplant the Kingdom of God in order to establish his kingdom on the earth. Satan wants to be the god of this world.  In order to do that, he has to basically reduce the population of earth to the equivalent of a North Korea. One leader, the anti-Christ. One world government. No freedoms. No rights.

“It begins with every nation on earth being under the complete control of either a dictatorship, Communism—or its little brother, Socialism. If the government of a nation is all powerful, then the people are subjects, not citizens.

“There is only one nation that is free, founded on Christian principles, and opposes the plan of Satan.  In order to bring down that nation, Satan must first render its people powerless to resist that One World Government.”

But, millions of Americans are not fooled. They see the evil—they can even describe it.

Some see evil in the way our society is marginalizing young men, but this is no excuse to resort to these heinous crimes against innocent people.

Some see evil in the way social media controls information. Millions are angry with Zuckerberg (Facebook) and Dorsey (Twitter) because they feel these titans insult our intelligence by saying they are fair and impartial, when they are nothing more than tools in a leftist agenda.

Satan says, “Let’s turn them against each other. Let’s create anarchy and fear, to justify the next level of control.”

There is no doubt that there are monsters to be found among those on the extreme Left and the extreme Right. What we must see is that the same devil is creating them both.

That takes us to the issue of guns. The left wants take them all. It is ironic how the media describes the victims of these shootings, saying, “They were defenseless.” But the leftist media’s answer is to make us even more defenseless by disarming us all.

Again, my friend Dr. Smith, wrote:

“On April 17, 1775, British troops marched from Boston to Concord by way of Lexington. The goal was to confiscate large stores of guns and gunpowder held in Concord.  When word of this reached a group of Americans living there, they said, “I don’t think so!” And the revolution soon followed.

“Since America is the only thing that stands in the way of darkness covering the entire globe, the way to bring America down, is to disarm its citizens. Then, so the Left believes, the government would be the only entity with guns. But in truth, the government and criminals would have all the guns. That is why the Left hates the Second Amendment. They are, for the most part, unaware that they are pawns in Satan’s game.  Satan has blinded their eyes and caused them to believe the lie that guns are the cause of all the murders, suicides, and mass shootings.  The real problem is not guns, but evil.”

My friend, the only way America will survive, and the only way we will ever stop these mass shootings, is by a moral awakening—a moral awakening that removes the blame from each other, and places it where it rightfully belongs—on all the villains who are helping create monsters, and by resisting their god, Satan.

8 Being sober in your spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. 10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, Who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11 To Him be the authority and rule, forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 5:8-11)
