The Bruce Gender: How this wild acceptance of mentally ill behavior confirms Christianity.
By Mario Murillo
A well known blogger said, “The former top psychiatrist at John’s Hopkins, Dr. Chapman, penned a Wall Street journal article several months ago, making it clear that “transgenders” are mentally disordered. Boldly affirming the indisputable findings of every credible biologist who’s ever existed, Dr. Chapman reported that sex change is biologically impossible, and to tell a transgender he can be “reassigned” or “transitioned” from one gender to the other is to “promote and collaborate with mental illness.
As the doctor points out, “transgenders” have a suicide rate 20 times higher than the general population —after surgery.”
There is no version of Bruce becoming Katlin where he is either heroic or a role model. In the quiet recesses of your common sense, you know that. (I will use quotes from authors whom I will not name in order to protect them from the Nazism of the present media. (Pardon their unusually graphic nature.)
“On Friday night, a mentally ill cross-dresser named Bruce Jenner was interviewed for two hours during prime time about his plan to gruesomely mutilate his genitals in a macabre pseudo-medical ritual often erroneously described as a ‘sex change.’ He concluded that the next best course of action is to castrate himself and live the rest of his life pretending to be a girl. He’s already undergone extensive cosmetic surgery, including shaving down his trachea (which is a thing that doctors will actually do, apparently) in pursuit of some perverse, bastardized notion of synthetic femininity.”
And if we are going to celebrate this illness, why not celebrate Apotemnophilia? “Apotemnophilia is a fetish in which people wish to become an amputee. They find sexual satisfaction and ultimately, happiness, through the act of the removal of limbs or simulating the removal of limbs. There are websites, message boards and get-togethers devoted exclusively to the activity. As a general rule, society doesn’t consider this to be healthful. Some of us may accept it, ignore it and move on with our lives, but we don’t praise it or trot apotemnopheliacs out as heroes. And let’s be honest… most of us think it’s pretty d___ weird.”
“Now, change that limb to the male organ. If you don’t accept it, even worse, if you don’t praise it, you’re deemed hateful. The politically correct lobbyists of the day will take great care in avoiding the staggeringly high suicide rate of transgenders, they will ignore the medical reality that sex change operations and hormone replacement therapies come with a litany of very serious health problems, heck, they’ll ignore overall science.”
“Bruce Jenner is not a hero. A hero is someone who has done something brave or noble, who has sacrificed for others. Bruce Jenner has done none of these things. He is a man who has posed in women’s clothing on the cover of a magazine, garnering excessive media attention. What’s more he has waited to do so until the optimum moment when he was most sure to receive praise and acceptance. Heroes risk much and gain little. Bruce Jenner has risked little and gained much.”
The celebration of Bruce Jenner has nothing to do with reality, morality, courage, honesty or love. It is driven by a force that the Bible said would dominate mankind. Ignoring science, bending reality, calling all who disagree “hateful” is the spirit of this time. But it also confirms Christianity. With more vivid detail than any other book, the Bible said there would be days like these.
1. The Bible predicted that people would do harm to their own bodies based on fantasies. Jude 1: 8 “In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.”
2. The Bible predicted that many who were Christian would lose their faith and join the charge of immorality and perversion. It would become nearly impossible to tell the natural from the unnatural and truth from falsehood.
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-7
3. The Bible predicted that the love of money would become all consuming, leading to hatred of God, blind ambition and violence. “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” -2 Timothy 3:1-4
Bruce Jenner is doing this for money; the networks and magazines are celebrating him for money. As another author said, “It’s worth noting, too, that it doesn’t generally require ‘courage’ or ‘bravery’ or ‘strength’ to do something that is sure to result in television deals and roaring applause from a sea of adoring fans. Usually, courage is not defined as ‘the willingness to endure immense popularity, esteem, fame, and profit.’” All that Bruce Jenner is doing is what he has always done; he is keeping up with the Kardashians. We just never imagined how far someone would go for money, but the Bible did.
Not to mention the doctors who perform procedures that of those who want limbs removed. It is only about money? What of ESPN? Will they give Bruce/Kaitlin the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for courage or for ratings?
The Bible is issuing a solemn warning: “And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, ‘Be saved from this perverse generation.’” -Acts 2:40 Peter said that on the day of Pentecost and it is truer now than ever. Turning mutilation into a miracle is just the beginning of the dark days ahead for those who do not heed the warning.
You can still get out of all the addiction, perversion and the pain. The promise of a new, free life is greater than ever because the Bible says, “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” – Romans 5:20. That is my prayer for Bruce Jenner. As one author said, “He is not a hero and he is not a woman. He is what we all are: lost, sinful, and desperately in need of Jesus. I pray he finds Him.”
