Donald Trump works to improve the lives of those who hate him.

President Trump labors to protect people who say and believe the vilest things about him. Think about that.

If you look at what he has accomplished since his election you have to admit he has fulfilled the promises he made to those who voted for him. However, none of that matters to those who hate him. In fact, there is nothing President Trump could ever do that would make them stop hating him. The hatred has become pathological.

Here’s how deep the mental virus is that afflicts American campuses: ask them why they hate Mr. Trump and you will get an emotional outburst, nonsensical phrases, then rage, followed by tears.   Often they will get in a fetal position screaming that they don’t feel safe.

The hatred of President Trump camouflages a national disgrace known as the House of Representatives. While Trump gets the job done, those who are absolutely doing nothing for Americans get a pass.  That Nancy Pelosi, Adam Shiff, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, and Ilhan Omar are not held accountable for their irrational statements is one thing. But the fact that they are doing nothing—I mean zero, zilch, nada for the American people and they get away with it. They get away with it because they are going after Donald Trump.

They are spending your hard earned money on hoaxes.  They ignore every major issue that affects your life in their hot pursuit of imaginary crimes. The hatred for Mr. Trump is so thick that they would gladly see America addicted, in debt, weakened and vulnerable to our enemies, than to ever give him a chance or credit him for anything.

President Trump has been more unfairly attacked—more falsely accused—more lied about than almost any leader in history. Yet, he keeps on going, fighting to make life safer and better for you, even if you hate him. Wow.

He is making life better for women even though many on the left refuse to see it.  He risks being hated, embraces the hate and keeps working for those who despise him.  He is working to make life better for every demographic group that is calling for his removal and even his death.

−Even though only 8% of blacks voted for him and many black leaders vilify him, he is working to reduce crime, fix crumbling streets and buildings, and bring real jobs and real hope to the inner city.

−He is working to improve the lives of women.  He built a multi-billion-dollar empire on a system of merit that promoted men and women equally.  Because of him, the workplace is becoming family friendly with maternity leaves.  Companies are giving women bonuses because of the strong economy.

−He got government off the back of small business—women are the fastest growing group of small business owners.  I can see why women don stupid hats, cuss him out, and call him Hitler…

−The President is working for the environmentalists who hate him.  Everyone knows the future is in renewable energy but we need a bridge to that future.  Environmentalists want to shut down all fossil fuels and create calamity for the rest of us—especially poor people.  They remind me of the new-age midwives who want women to give birth cold-turkey just to feel all the pain.

−Elitist environmentalists fly around in private jets polluting the air while they lecture real people about making sacrifices. They are not the poor who have to fight to get to work in the only car they can afford.  They don’t have to drive a semi, to feed their family.   Refusing to build this bridge to renewable energy is a great way to kill the mother and the baby.

−He is working for poor Americans by securing our borders.  When a criminal or a terrorist enters our country where do they go?  They immediately set up shop in the inner city.  They take the jobs from those who need them most—they plan their mischief in the ghetto.

Social workers know that when they visit a family where abuse is reported, the child will cling to the parent that is beating them and eschew the one who is loving. The same thing is happening with Trump and Obama.  The left clings to the abusive parent and despises the loving one.

If you boil down everything they hate about Trump you find yourself looking at a police sketch of Obama. Obama is the one who was racially ambivalent. Obama was hateful toward his enemies, used drones to kill civilians, slept as Americans died in Benghazi.  He fought against inclusion.

Obama had eight years to make black lives matter in Chicago.  He was more concerned about Syrian refugees than American refugees from violence—I can see why you loved Obama.

Most of you millennials lived in your parent’s basement under Obama.  Now you don’t.  Obama put way more energy into putting a man into the women’s restrooms than to putting you in a real career. The deal he made with Iran is now producing nuclear weapons.

Government work?  Trump didn’t need it.  But tell me, where else could Obama have gone?  Can you see Barack trying to build a business in New York City?  How deranged is the left about Obama? He claimed credit for the economic boom that Trump built.  And they believed him!

With all the wacko rage and bias against him—the towering unfairness heaped on him−President Trump still wants to make America great.  That is an astonishing act of God. That is perseverance from beyond our world.

I want to end my rant with a simple question to all the pastors who love to condemn Trump as an “ungodly man.” Trump is a billionaire. He owns gorgeous resorts. He has a loving family. He doesn’t need this! Yet he stays.

My question for you is how long would you stay?  How long would you stay in a church where half of the members wanted to destroy you?  And, took every word you preached deliberately out of context and spread lies to other congregants every day?  Would you—knowing there were much greener pastures, a bigger church with a higher salary and more adulation—stay and serve?  Yeah, I see why you look down on President Trump.

There are many areas where Donald Trump needs to grow spiritually but in one area he has zoomed ahead of most preachers: Matthew 5: 44, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you…”

A Matter of Life and Death

Here is the plain truth: We are in a situation where the worst president we have ever had—may be replaced by the only person who could possibly be worse—at the worst time imaginable.  The odds of this are astronomical.

A Matter of Life and Death

By Mario Murillo

Here is the plain truth: We are in a situation where the worst president we have ever had—may be replaced by the only person who could possibly be worse—at the worst time imaginable.  The odds of this are astronomical.

Let me take that last one first.  This is the worst time imaginable because a blanket of delusion hangs over the general population.    They have been assaulted, robbed, lied to and cast aside by Obama.  Yet—like a battered wife—millions of Democrats have signed up for more.

Moreover, the media has lost its soul.  They are busy lying, manipulating, punishing opposing views and utterly selling out to elect Clinton.  At any other time, people would be horrified and disgusted.

This is the perfect storm.  To my mind, there are only two possible reasons that all of this could be happening at the same time:  1. Satan is making his stand to destroy America.  2. God has sent a strong delusion to judge America.

Let me take the first one next.  Obama is not merely the worst president ever.  He may be the worst thing that has ever happened to America.  He did the opposite of everything he ever promised.

-He said Obamacare would save you $2,500.  Arizona will see an increase of over 116%.  The average national increase will be 60%.

-He promised jobs and instead drove 95 million Americans out of the workforce.

-He promised to heal race relations. Instead, he started a race war that has killed scores of police across the nation.

hillary-and-obama-pic-575x380

-He said he would make life better for blacks.  Instead he set records for suffering.  Lowest home ownership.  Highest crime rates.  Highest poverty rates. Since he has been in office, 8 thousand have been murdered in Chicago alone.  he has divided the races and poisoned all race conversations.

-He promised to heal our relationship to the Middle East.  What he gave us was a world of terror, civil war and imminent world war.

This is the worst time for Hillary.  If you believe that Hillary’s corrupt, heinous, hideous, malevolent, malicious, nefarious, ugly, vicious, vile and depraved (words fail me) character in anyway compares to Trump’s failings…you are indeed under a strong delusion.

People think that the point I am making is “watch out, Hillary will make things bad!”   No, no it is much worse than that.   Things are already bad, horribly bad.  Obama has made us utterly miserable…instead of hope and change, he gave us fear and loathing.

When it seems that things cannot get worse, Hillary will find a way.   She is the finishing touch on a dying nation.

This is not a dire warning…the “dire” is already here.   This election is not a choice between a bad candidate and a worse candidate.  No matter how impossible this election seems, you must vote.  No matter what the outcome, you will be able to say that you voted to save the country.

The delusion can be broken by prayer and brave action by vessels of God.  We are long overdue for a miracle.  Whatever you do…vote.

It is no longer just a vote…it is a choice between life and death.

Today, you’ll hear terrifying things about our government. But it may be a miracle.

Today, you’ll hear terrifying things about our government. But it may be a miracle.

By Mario Murillo

In the next few hours you are going to hear some truly terrifying things about our government.  Today you will find out things you were never supposed to know.  An avalanche of facts will confirm some of our worst fears and God’s great mercy.

Remember when you thought the president was supposed to protect us?  Remember when you thought the Department of Justice was supposed to bring justice?  Remember when you thought the State Department was supposed to keep us safe?

Well sit down…because here comes the truth: We have not had a democracy for 8 years.  We have been led by a junta—a crime family.  They have finally been outed.

Here is what you already know:

CNN fed debate questions to Hillary Clinton.

George Soros owns voting machines.

Barack Obama ordered the FBI not to indict Hillary and stopped them from convening a Grand Jury to indict the Clinton Foundation.

The Clinton campaign paid people to start fights at Trump rallies.

Facebook, Google and Twitter conspired to manipulate information to place Hillary in a good light and Trump in a bad light.  They lied and censored to advance her campaign.

We know that 65% of all Americans believe Hillary has broken federal law.

We know that 53% believe it was wrong not to indict her.

Today you are going to find out how deep and wide this collusion really is.  You get to meet the many tentacled beast.

These people did not merely blur the Separation of Powers Act of the Constitution…they removed it.  They formed a legislative monopoly—one that pools power and freely operates above the law.

One of the first to discover this was Bernie Sanders.  Only, they scared him so badly that he is terrified to tell us the truth—he even turned on his own supporters.

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch, the Department of Justice, the State Department, the IRS and our mass media, newspapers, magazines and social media including Google, Facebook and Twitter all work together.  They collaborate… they plan things.

hillary-and-obama-pic-575x380

This was how John Podesta could tell Hillary every move the DOJ was making in advance.  Then it all came out in the open.

We now know that at least 5 nations have hacked and now own Hillary Clinton’s emails.

We now know there is a 99% chance that Bill and Hillary Clinton will be indicted for criminal activity involving hundreds of millions of dollars.  They are under suspicion for selling influence to enrich themselves.  They sold favors to nations that are sworn enemies of the U.S.!

We are still at the tip of the iceberg.  James Comey has been aware of this information for almost a year.  He has even more information…enough to fill an ocean liner.   He finally caved and sent a letter to Congress to announce he was reopening the Clinton email investigation.

Why did Comey brave the wrath of the ruling family?  Because  “Rogue”  FBI agents couldn’t take the filth, lies and abuse of power on the American people anymore.  They forced Comey’s hand.  These agents are true American heroes.

While I do not condone stealing emails, we must admit that WikiLeaks was key in finding out things we never would have known.  If it were not for Fox News you would not see it on television.

Today you will be hearing things even Thomas Wolfe could not put in a scandalous novel.  Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might as you hear the horrifying reality that God is trying to spare us from.  A tidal wave of information will be coming out within hours.

Again, you were never supposed to find out about this.  I believe this is an answer to the prayers of the saints.  You had better realize you have been given a miracle.  If you and I do not seize this miracle, then we deserve all the tyranny that Hillary will hand out.

Today I believe God has had mercy on us to expose this before the election.  Time to dump Bill and Hillary like nuclear waste…and drain the swamp.

Should Christians Vote for Trump?

Should Christians Vote for Trump?

By Eric Metaxas

Over this past year many of Donald Trump’s comments have made me almost literally hopping mad. The hot-mic comments from 2005 are especially horrifying. Can there be any question we should denounce them with flailing arms and screeching volume?

Trump’s behavior is odious, but Clinton has a deplorable basketful of deal breakers.

This question should hardly require an essay, but let’s face it: We’re living in strange times. America is in trouble.

Over this past year many of Donald Trump’s comments have made me almost literally hopping mad. The hot-mic comments from 2005 are especially horrifying. Can there be any question we should denounce them with flailing arms and screeching volume? I must not hang out in the right locker rooms, because if anyone I know said such things I might assault him physically (and repent later). So yes, many see these comments as a deal breaker.

But we have a very knotty and larger problem. What if the other candidate also has deal breakers? Even a whole deplorable basketful? Suddenly things become horribly awkward. Would God want me simply not to vote? Is that a serious option?

-What if not pulling the lever for Mr. Trump effectively means electing someone who has actively enabled sexual predation in her husband before—and while—he was president?

-Won’t God hold me responsible for that? What if she defended a man who raped a 12-year-old and in recalling the case laughed about getting away with it? Will I be excused from letting this person become president?

-What if she used her position as secretary of state to funnel hundreds of millions into her own foundation, much of it from nations that treat women and gay people worse than dogs? Since these things are true, can I escape responsibility for them by simply not voting?

Many say they won’t vote because choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil. But this is sophistry. Neither candidate is pure evil. They are human beings. We cannot escape the uncomfortable obligation to soberly choose between them.

if

Not voting—or voting for a third candidate who cannot win—is a rationalization designed more than anything to assuage our consciences. Yet people in America and abroad depend on voters to make this very difficult choice.

Children in the Middle East are forced to watch their fathers drowned in cages by ISIS. Kids in inner-city America are condemned to lives of poverty, hopelessness and increasing violence. Shall we sit on our hands and simply trust “the least of these” to God, as though that were our only option? Don’t we have an obligation to them?

Two heroes about whom I’ve written faced similar difficulties. William Wilberforce, who ended the slave trade in the British Empire, often worked with other parliamentarians he knew to be vile and immoral in their personal lives.

Why did he? First, because as a sincere Christian he knew he must extend grace and forgiveness to others, since he desperately needed them himself. Second, because he knew the main issue was not his moral purity, nor the moral impurity of his colleagues, but rather the injustices and horrors suffered by the African slaves whose cause he championed. He knew that before God his first obligation was to them, and he must do what he could to help them.

The anti-Nazi martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer also did things most Christians of his day were disgusted by. He most infamously joined a plot to kill the head of his government. He was horrified by it, but he did it nonetheless because he knew that to stay “morally pure” would allow the murder of millions to continue. Doing nothing or merely “praying” was not an option. He understood that God was merciful, and that even if his actions were wrong, God saw his heart and could forgive him. But he knew he must act.

Wilberforce and Bonhoeffer knew it was an audience of One to whom they would ultimately answer. And He asks, “What did you do to the least of these?”

It’s a fact that if Hillary Clinton is elected, the country’s chance to have a Supreme Court that values the Constitution—and the genuine liberty and self-government for which millions have died—is gone. Not for four years, or eight, but forever.

Many say Mr. Trump can’t be trusted to deliver on this score, but Mrs. Clinton certainly can be trusted in the opposite direction. For our kids and grandkids, are we not obliged to take our best shot at this? Shall we sit on our hands and refuse to choose?

If imperiously flouting the rules by having a private server endangered American lives and secrets and may lead to more deaths, if she cynically deleted thousands of emails, and if her foreign-policy judgment led to the rise of Islamic State, won’t refusing to vote make me responsible for those suffering as a result of these things?

vote

How do I squirm out of this horrific conundrum? It’s unavoidable: We who can vote must answer to God for these people, whom He loves. We are indeed our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers.

We would be responsible for passively electing someone who champions the abomination of partial-birth abortion, someone who is celebrated by an organization that sells baby parts. We already live in a country where judges force bakers, florists and photographers to violate their consciences and faith—and Mrs. Clinton has zealously ratified this. If we believe this ends with bakers and photographers, we are horribly mistaken. No matter your faith or lack of faith, this statist view of America will dramatically affect you and your children.

For many of us, this is very painful, pulling the lever for someone many think odious. But please consider this: A vote for Donald Trump is not necessarily a vote for Donald Trump himself. It is a vote for those who will be affected by the results of this election. Not to vote is to vote. God will not hold us guiltless.

You better be praying because tonight’s debate is totally rigged

Mario wrote this before the debate. Everything he said happened the way he said it would.   If you haven’t read it read it now.  If you have read it—read it again…the most widely shared blog in our history.

You better be praying because tonight’s debate is totally rigged

There will be no fairness tonight.  There will be no balance.  You are about to witness a kangaroo court.  Hillary will get zero tough questions.  Trump will get only loaded questions.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that a plurality (46%) of Likely U.S. Voters believes most moderators will try to help Clinton in the upcoming debates. Only six percent (6%) think they will try to help Trump instead. Just 32% say most of the moderators will try to be unbiased, while 15% are undecided.

The entire night will be an infomercial for Hillary.  She will be declared the most experienced person ever to run for president. Trump will be portrayed a virtual Adolf Hitler.

Nothing will be said about Benghazi, Emails, Whitewater, The Clinton Foundation, and the 20 other scandals she has created.  You will only hear remarks about Trump that “prove” he is hateful to women, racist and lacks the temperament to be president.

The goal of tonight’s debate is to rescue Hillary and to repudiate Trump.

Here—by the numbers—is why I am right about tonight:

1. Lester Holt will go Candy Crowley.  Remember the 2012 debate? Candy Crowley repeatedly interrupted Mitt Romney and gave Obama much more time to speak.  When Romney raised a killer point about Obama, Crowley literally shut him down and went to a commercial.

Lester Holt has already signaled that he will do what Candy Crowley did.   CNN’s Brian Stelter says Lester Holt is signaling to his NBC colleagues that he may enter the fray in Monday night’s presidential debate as a participant rather than a moderator — thanks to intense left-wing backlash over Matt Lauer’s performance at the “Commander in Chief Forum” weeks ago.

lester-holt-candy-crowley-640x4802.  The left will destroy moderators who are fair to Trump.  Matt Lauer was eviscerated by the left for being fair to Trump in the Commander in Chief forum. All of the moderators are under intense pressure to see Hillary win the debate.  They know they it could be a career ender to let Trump win.

3. Obama. He ordered the FBI not to recommend an indictment against Hillary. He ordered the Justice Department to stone wall congress and refuse to release evidence that would incriminate her.  Obama has protected her every step of the way.  He has—without a doubt—exerted extreme pressure on the moderators to let her win.

4. Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, USA Today, The New York Times, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN and PBS are all firmly in Hillary’s camp. They will take tonight’s debate and spin it into a fair fight that Hillary won fair and square. Any reporting to the contrary will censored.

5. Total desperation: All of the people and media outlets I have named are now totally desperate.  They realize that Hillary is a terrible candidate.  They will gladly risk the appearance of bias if it is only the only way to save her.  It is now a no-holds-barred smack down of Trump by a band of bloodthirsty leftists who will stop at nothing to get her elected.

For his part Trump only has to do three things to win tonight and to become president.

  1. He has to remind America that her treatment of women is a basket of deplorables.  She—rather than blame her husband—has worked to ruin women that her husband raped.  I do not know any way to treat women worse.
2. He has to show that she will not keep America safe.  She has promised to make the Supreme Court a leftist activist arm of government. She will increase the number of Muslim immigrants from Syria by 500%.  She has promised to continue the failure of Obama in dealing with ISIS. She has sided with rioters against the police.  She will not hear America’s cry for help any more than she heard the cries of the 4 Americans who died in Benghazi.
3. He must expose the lie of her experience. The very experience she touts as qualifying her for the White House is—in fact—the very reason to reject her. She has been in government for 30 years and cannot point to one accomplishment.  Her record is a blank slate.  Now she says she is going to do all of these things if she is elected.  Why would anyone believe that?
In my opinion these are killer points that will destroy her candidacy.   If Donald Trump calmly makes these points, it is over for her.  It’s just too bad that he will not be allowed to make them…unless of course, there’s a miracle.  Pray.

Ted Cruz: Why I am voting for Trump. Why You should too.

Ted Cruz: Why I am voting for Trump.  Why You should too.

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

I’ve made this decision for two reasons. First, last year, I promised to support the Republican nominee. And I intend to keep my word.

Second, even though I have had areas of significant disagreement with our nominee, by any measure Hillary Clinton is wholly unacceptable — that’s why I have always been #NeverHillary.

Six key policy differences inform my decision. First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices “in the mold of Scalia.”

For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.

Second, Obamacare. The failed healthcare law is hurting millions of Americans. If Republicans hold Congress, leadership has committed to passing legislation repealing Obamacare. Clinton, we know beyond a shadow of doubt, would veto that legislation. Trump has said he would sign it.

Third, energy. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry. Trump has said he will reduce regulations and allow the blossoming American energy renaissance to create millions of new high-paying jobs.

Fourth, immigration. Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama’s lawless executive amnesty. Trump has promised that he would revoke those illegal executive orders.

Fifth, national security. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists. Trump has promised to stop the deluge of unvetted refugees.

Sixth, Internet freedom. Clinton supports Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international community of stakeholders, including Russia, China, and Iran. Just this week, Trump came out strongly against that plan, and in support of free speech online.

These are six vital issues where the candidates’ positions present a clear choice for the American people.

If Clinton wins, we know — with 100% certainty — that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country.

My conscience tells me I must do whatever I can to stop that.

We also have seen, over the past few weeks and months, a Trump campaign focusing more and more on freedom — including emphasizing school choice and the power of economic growth to lift African-Americans and Hispanics to prosperity.

Finally, after eight years of a lawless Obama administration, targeting and persecuting those disfavored by the administration, fidelity to the rule of law has never been more important.

The Supreme Court will be critical in preserving the rule of law. And, if the next administration fails to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then I hope that Republicans and Democrats will stand united in protecting our fundamental liberties.

Our country is in crisis. Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.

A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don’t want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.

Inside the mind of a shameless liar

Dr. Keith Ablow: Hillary Clinton — Inside the mind of a shameless liar

Recently, it has been reported that Hillary Clinton is using psychologists to prepare for her debates with Donald Trump.  Apparently, some within the Clinton campaign believed that Mr. Trump seemed ill-at-ease when, during a Republican presidential primary debate, he addressed Senator Marco Rubio’s contention that Trump’s small hands likely meant his private parts were also small.

In fact, Trump seemed completely comfortable addressing that intensely personal attack, simply saying that it wasn’t true.  His willingness and ability to dispense with the matter in such a straightforward way shouldn’t give the Clinton campaign confidence that Trump can be rocked with psychological missives; it should terrify them.  Because when a man can speak directly, in front of cameras and the entire nation, even about those matters which are usually unspeakable, he isn’t going to run away from much of anything.

Donald Trump wears his psyche on his sleeve.

Hillary Clinton is the one whose psychological make up would seem to leave her vulnerable.  Her penchant for lying is a problem, but the really big problem is that she seems unable to determine when her lies are registering with audiences as clearly untrue. At the core, people who lie transparently do so because they lack empathy—the ability to intuit and vicariously experience what others are thinking and feeling.  Locked behind walls of narcissism or arrogance or imperiousness, consumed with the pursuit of power, they can’t tell convincing lies because they can’t truly resonate with how their words and mannerisms are being received.

Hillary Clinton’s penchant for lying is a problem, but the really big problem is that she seems unable to determine when her lies are registering with audiences as clearly untrue.

Hillary Clinton is, to borrow from a fairy tale, like the emperor with no clothes, who thinks that others can’t see his nakedness. We have in Ms. Clinton, if you will, an empress with no clothes.  Everyone knows her cover ups are transparent—except, seemingly, Secretary Clinton, herself.

All that Donald Trump needs to do, in order to expose Ms. Clinton as a liar is to ask her to repeat her defenses related to her use of a personal email server when she was Secretary of State, her mingling of State Department business with Clinton Foundation business and her having abandoned Ambassador Chris Stephens, Foreign Service Office Sean Smith and two former Navy Seals to die at Benghazi.  Tens of millions of Americans watching will feel, in their hearts, that she is a liar.

The Morality of Voting for Trump

The Morality of Voting for Trump

#NeverTrumpers fails to persuade as Dems focus on helping their candidate win

by Laura Ingraham | Updated 12 Aug 2016 at 1:57 PM

Knowing what we know about Hillary Clinton and her plans for America, and the importance of the Supreme Court, we conservatives have a moral obligation to both oppose her and support Donald Trump.

That’s the choice the NeverTrumpers have made — a decision to do nothing.

This is the sentiment I expressed on Sean Hannity’s television show Thursday that has sent some #NeverTrump conservatives into a tizzy. Ben Shapiro is the latest in a long line of mostly Acela-corridor Republicans who spend much of their days “see-I-told-you-so’ing” about Trump.

Shapiro responded on behalf of Team #NeverTrump Friday in a piece titled “Hannity, Ingraham Say It’s Immoral Not to Vote Trump. Here Are 3 Reasons They’re Wrong,” published in the Daily Wire.

Here are his three arguments, none of which is persuasive:

1. Electing Trump as president will do more damage to the country in the long run because a Trump presidency would be the end of conservatism.
Really? What conservatism is that? The conservatism that ran up huge deficits in the 2000s? The conservatism that encouraged illegal immigration? The conservatism that pushed trade policies that led to the rise of China? The conservatism that rolled over for Obama on issue after issue? The conservatism that does whatever The Wall Street Journal editorial page wants? The conservatism of Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain? That conservatism won’t be around anymore? Good.

Those are reasons to support Trump, not reasons to fear him. Over the last 25 years, the conservative movement has failed to win a single election against Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. They failed to stop social liberalism. They failed to stop the rise of China. They failed to shrink the federal government, balance the federal budget, return power to the states, or generally do any of the things that GOP voters wanted them to do.

Now, peeved and spiteful that the base no longer trusts them to do almost anything, they are supporting Hillary Clinton — a radical liberal whose 25 years on the national stage have been an absolute disaster for the average American.

If ending this record of failure, and launching a new conservatism that actually tries to help working-class Americans, is one of the consequences of the Trump campaign, then that campaign will have been well worth it.

2. There are costs to supporting Trump if he loses.
They’re worried about conservatism being tainted by Trump? Were they there when the housing bubble collapsed in 2008, and the nation watched in horror as a Republican president struggled to explain why the U.S. economy was in free fall? Were they there when the Bush administration disbanded the Iraqi military, which made stabilizing that sectarian quicksand impossible? Were they there when Republicans were crushed in the 2006 and 2008 elections — in large part because they could make no defense of the Bush administration? Of course they were.

To this day, conservatism is tainted by its association with the Bush administration — and yet the GOP re-took the House in 2010, and re-gained the Senate in 2014. If conservatives can overcome eight years of disastrous policies that left this country crying out for Barack Obama, of all people, they can certainly overcome Donald Trump.

 3. Your vote is a moral instrument, not just an instrument of policy.
Yes, it is. Voting for Trump means that when your country had been in decline for almost two decades, and you had the chance to set the country on a different course, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you finally had the chance to end the corrupt and decadent Clinton machine, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you had the chance to write in the history books that the country had rejected the last eight years of President Obama, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you had the chance to save the First Amendment, and the Second Amendment, and to restore the proper checks and balances that are at risk from another Clinton administration, you took it.

Voting for Trump means that when you had the chance to stand up to pro-China billionaires who make money off of a global system that is rigged in favor of a Chinese dictatorship, and rigged against the American worker, you took it.

Voting for Trump means saying yes to a 15 percent top corporate tax rate, which will boost American wages and jobs.

Voting for Trump means that we know how critical the Supreme Court is and if we lose it, game’s over on many of the policies and principles we’ve been fighting for decades.

Is Trump perfect? Of course not. Do you know how many perfect presidents we’ve had? Zero. In the real world, if you want to be a citizen — and have the responsibilities of a citizen — you have to be a grown-up, and you have to recognize that life presents us with difficult choices.

Voting for Trump means fighting against the ennui and decline that is destroying this country.

Voting for Trump does not mean that you agree with everything he says, or that you never criticize him. It does not mean giving up your right to disagree with him — or even oppose him — when he does something you think is wrong. Does anyone think that Paul Ryan — who is supporting Trump — will simply be a rubber stamp for Trump’s policies? Does anyone think that the numerous GOP Senators who support Trump will blindly follow wherever he leads? Of course not.

The NeverTrumpers like to pretend that Trump’s supporters are weak-minded simpletons who don’t understand how politics works. But the truth is that those of us who support Trump understand all too well the reality of the choice that faces us, and are doing the best we can to save this country.

On the other hand, not voting for Trump — and hoping that he loses — also represents a moral choice:

It means being worried every time you hear a story suggesting that Hillary still faces real hurdles before Election Day and could still lose this.

It means aligning yourself, at least temporarily, with left-wing nightmares Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all the other radicals who want Trump to lose.

It means turning a deaf ear to your fellow Americans who can’t take four more years of decline, and who are desperate for new leadership.

It means allowing another four or eight years of flat-lining wages and growth, and high taxes on American businesses.

It means hardening your heart against people those who have spent 40 years trying to stop abortion.

It means rejecting the advice of Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, and the vast majority of elected Republican officials — all of whom are supporting Trump.

It means doing nothing when The New York Times, and The Washington Post, and every other left-wing outlet mocks and ridicules the Trump supporters as racists and bigots.

It means cheering (silently or not) along with every smear and every snide comment that Hollywood and the media can use to attack Trump’s voters.

That’s the choice the NeverTrumpers have made — a decision to do nothing, to wash their hands of the election, of the Republican Party, of the country itself.

That may represent some people’s version of morality. But it’s not mine.

If you want him to win keep insulting his supporters

On May 7th, Mario Murillo predicted the top reason Trump would win.   The same reason that helped him win is also helping him get stronger right now.  Read more…

If you want him to win keep insulting his supporters

By Mario Murillo

The fast track to getting Donald Trump in the White House is to insult his supporters.   Keep calling them names…it works every time.  David Masciotra of Salon news wrote a piece entitled We must shame dumb Trump fans.   He said, “The white working class are not victims.  It’s not smug liberalism to point out Trump backers are low-educated. What’s dangerous is to sympathize with them.”

After this came out Trump’s numbers went up.

At a rally for GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz in Utah, Glenn Beck chastised Southern Evangelical Christians for not supporting Cruz. “All throughout the South the Evangelicals are not listening to their God,” he said.  And what was the impact of a Mormon telling evangelicals who back Trump that they are disobeying Christ?

After this Trump’s numbers went up.

George Will addressed the Trump supporters directly: These are voters the Republicans want, the Republicans want all voters, and particularly these voters, but to say that he’s tapped into something;… {shaking head} … Henry Wallace tapped into something, with the far left of American Politics in the late 40’s; the John Birch society tapped into something, George Wallace tapped into something, and it was up to the grown-ups in the labor movement in the late 1940’s, and the grown-ups in the conservative movement in the 1960’s to read those elements the riot act, and say: come back in, but come back in on our terms because we are not going down the road you want to go”…In other words, Trump supporters are misbehaving children who—upon being properly punished by the “grown-ups” –can come back to the Republican party on ‘our terms.”

After this Trump’s numbers went up.

Vincente Fox, former president of Mexico disparaged Trump supporters as lazy, uneducated, TV watching drunks.

Well, you know what happened then.   The same thing that happens when you say Trump followers are racist, women haters, and xenophobic.   Spouting epithets without facts wins him votes.  As Mark Twain said, “facts are stubborn things.”

Attack him on his policies.  Arm yourself with facts so you don’t end up in the ash heap with those who say he said something he never said.

Trump supporters are smarter than we think.   They know why they are for him.  Do your homework so you can say definitely why you are against him.  Don’t say he is racist, homophobic, sexist unless you can back it up.   Otherwise, you are going to help elect him.

THE QUEST FOR THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

The quest for the perfect candidate

By Mario Murillo

Christians who are ardent supporters of Ted Cruz or Donald Trump have ended friendships with fellow believers—even lifelong friends.   The damage of lost fellowship will go on long after this election is over.  The goal of Satan is to divide and conquer (more on this in a moment).

The world will not end if Cruz becomes president.  The world will not end if Trump becomes president.  Hillary is the apocalypse.   She is the true end of all things because she promises to continue Obama’s legacy.  How insane is that?!

Consider these facts:

There is no perfect candidate.  All of them are flawed.  Both of the candidates have done—or allowed—things that are reprehensible.  There is nothing close to a Ronald Reagan in this race.

We are not electing a pastor.   There is truth in that statement.  But we are electing a president and moral conviction should matter.  On the other hand—we should remember—we can’t even find a perfect pastor!

I get it!  We need as godly a president as possible…but we also need a leader.   If we get an ideologue—who can debate Christianity and conservatism—but who is powerless to make changes… what is the point?  On the other hand, if we get a celebrity—who can make deals—but has a broken moral compass…how does that help?  It’s a big fat mess…but there is hope.

I have two mighty, wise and famous Christian friends.  One can convince you that your only choice is Cruz and make it seem that you have committed the unpardonable sin by uttering the word “Trump.”

The other spiritual legend can show you how it is the prophetic destiny of America to have Trump as president.   I do not agree with either of them.   I believe that we can work with either one if we pray and obey.

Not only this, but the enemy wants you to be so angry about who gets the Republican nomination that you will sit out the general election.

Glenn Beck hates Trump so much that he has vowed to vote for Hillary if Trump is the nominee.  That is wacko!   Rush Limbaugh agrees that is wacko: “I’m not voting for Hillary.  If Trump’s the nominee I’m voting for him.  I’m gonna vote for anybody but Hillary Clinton.  I’m not voting for her no matter what.  Daffy Duck could be our nominee.  He gets my vote.  I am not voting for Hillary or Bernie or Biden or whoever ends up being the nominee, pure and simple.  The Democrat Party is the most destructive force; the American left the most destructive force in this country today.”

The idea of running a third party candidate is also loony and will guarantee a Clinton victory.

FILE - In this Sept. 26, 2014 file photo, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas speaks at the 2014 Values Voter Summit in Washington. Top Texas Republicans are holding their election night party on Nov. 4 with a concert by country star Pat Green at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, best-known for hosting a weekly music show. Gov. Rick Perry isn’t seeking re-election but is considering a second run for the White House and is expected to attend. Also planning to be there, according to spokeswoman Catherine Frazier, is tea party-backed Sen. Ted Cruz, who appears likely to test the presidential waters. Same goes for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, a possible 2016er some Republicans hope will enter the race to stand up to conservative firebrands like Cruz. (AP Photo/Manuel Balce Ceneta, File)

Ted and Donald carry baggage that is disconcerting to me…but when you consider whom they are replacing—the worst leader we have ever known—you can see how Cruz or Trump is a massive improvement.    Not only this, but If you combed our entire galaxy it would be nigh unto impossible to find a more incompetent or despicable leader than Barack.  Yet, somehow, the Democrats have managed to do just that in Hillary.

By all means debate your cause.  Defend your candidate.  Vote with both heart and brain!  Let’s just dial down the vitriol, the anger, and self-righteous vindictive rhetoric.  We have a flawed election, two flawed candidates heading into a flawed election.  It is what it is, and we must be wise.  It doesn’t help when believers say, “you are not a Christian if you vote for Trump.”  And no believer should be saying “you are an idiot to vote for Cruz.”  No friendship should end over Trump or Cruz.

Whoever is nominated will need to be rehabilitated and transformed into a viable opponent to Hillary Clinton.  Prayer, unity and bringing righteous pressure to bear on that nominee will be our best course of action.  And yet I show you a more excellent way…

The answer to America will not come out of the White House but out of God’s house.  It is Lucifer’s intention to divide and conquer.  Satan understands that revival is the only thing that will stop him.  He has created the perfect storm to get us at each other’s throat instead of his throat.

His goal is to get us to make the same mistake the disciples made with Jesus.  They tried to make Jesus a temporal king and establish a theocracy…looking to a politician to save us.   Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world.”   Those who would attempt to create a theocratic state are misguided and anti-Bible.

America’s hope lies in an outpouring of the Holy Spirit where the preaching is confirmed with signs and wonders.   We need widespread conviction—people openly sobbing over their sin and violently turning to Christ.

We need what the forest fire fighters call Area Ignition: when separate forest fires burn toward each other and finally form a regional wall of fire where the air gets so hot it ignites flames.  We need a reformation led not by supermen but supernatural men and women!
