Don’t believe a single word from those who are calling today’s election a referendum of President Trump. Today is not a verdict on Donald Trump. This is not about the left seizing the perceived hatred of Trump. This is something else altogether.
Some Republicans in the House did not jump on the Trump train soon enough to benefit from his wins. Let’s not forget how, early on, the leadership of the Republican Party fought Trump. They even maneuvered to prevent him from running for President. He had to overcome obstacles on both sides of the aisle.
If the Republican Party had seized two issues, they would be seeing a Red Wave today instead biting their nails. Immigration and the economy are the two things an overwhelming number of Americans care about. They want jobs and they don’t want their neighborhoods invaded. Establishment Republicans were to slow to understand that. They still feared the media.
Even during this election cycle, many House Republicans were slow to understand the groundswell of grassroots support for Trump. Look at candidates whose hide is being saved because, just in time, they wisely identified with Trump.
Moreover, House elections are local not national. What the left is grabbing hold of is the frustration of a do-nothing congress. Candidates are vulnerable because of their local, lackadaisical leadership—their clinging to establishment ways—and for doing nothing while they had the chance. None of which is Trump’s fault.
That is not to say the Left’s answer is any good. Their cure is far worse than the disease.
The Left has good reason to try to pin their nonexistent blue wave on Trump. They want to weaken him. However, the weakness came from Paul Ryan’s brand of “sort of say something, and sort of do something.” Republican tabling, delaying, snide remarks against Trump tweets, and trying to appear to be getting things done, is coming home to haunt them.
Look at today this way: Your football team was down 28-0 at the two-minute warning and you finally put the right quarterback in. He is miraculously driving up and down the field and may have enough time to pull out a win. Trump has frantically rallied in so many places in the last few weeks that it makes me dizzy. If God can use anyone to pull out a miracle it is Donald Trump.
But if the gun sounds before he can save the house…don’t blame him, it is totally not his fault. If he does pull out a win the Republican Party better give credit where credit is due.
Freedom flickers like a candle in the wind. We have come down to it: America’s darkest hour.
We are the giddy inebriated fool laughing and stumbling in the dark of night at the edge of the cliff.
When they said Trump was racist. Did you accept that without a shred of evidence? Then you helped kill freedom.
When you hear CNN and MSNBC blame Trump for the massacre in the Pittsburgh Synagogue you weren’t outraged? Then you are the assisting the suicide of our nation.
You witnessed the assassination of Judge Kavanaugh’s character—without a scintilla of proof he had ever done anything wrong.
Who trashed the presumption of innocence? Who trashed due process? You can’t see it? You still see no reason to vote out the scoundrels in Congress who perpetrated this? If so, you are helping plunge a knife into the heart of Liberty.
You heard Oprah promote celebrations of abortions and you continue to take her advice on your vote? You are helping call down the judgement of God!
Are you the pastor who spiritualized your cowardice in America’s darkest hour? Did you use trite phrases to recuse yourself from the horrors of wickedness—the very wickedness God called you to oppose? Are you, by this, aiding and abetting the downfall of your nation and bringing misery upon the sheep—the very sheep God told you to protect?
If you don’t use your rights to stop evildoers tomorrow, you will never get another chance. Because if they win, a shroud of darkness will descend on our beloved nation and snuff the lamp of justice.
They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing. Parading themselves as champions of justice, and equal rights. They infiltrated everything from the media to the pulpit. Now we see their real face. Now their true intentions are exposed for all to see. Now, we are without excuse if we elect them.
And tell me America, how is it possible you still can’t tell who the real fascists are—who the real racists are—who the real haters are—who the real liars are…and, who the real lunatics are? If you don’t know at this late hour, you never will. And history says if you can’t tell good from evil then you don’t deserve to remain free.
You call yourself a Christian and you choose not to vote? You are not innocent. You are complicit. You are one of the authors and finishers of decency in this country. If you don’t vote, you are voting in Marxists by default.
Marxism has absorbed the Democratic Party and the press has no clue of what freedom of speech is. We have never seen these things before. Mark Levin is so right when he said, “So this election is not only about defeating many, many radicals that the Democrats have nominated. Some of them are outright bigots,” he said. “But it’s also about pushing back against the media that has no comprehension whatsoever what freedom of the press means, the history of freedom of the press and why it’s so important.”
The importance of tomorrow cannot be overstated. This is America’s darkest hour. Only once in your entire life will your duty be this clear. We have wasted valuable time and it never should have come down to this. But now it has, and it is what it is: A last call to do what’s right.
If we don’t stop them, we will be doing something that no nation has ever done and survived. No country has ever handed power to candidates like these and kept their freedom or prosperity.
Just for the moment. Forget about Trump. Forget about the Wall. Forget about the “Caravan.” The case to make against the Democratic Party to the American public is simple. It begins with simple questions.
Who has fights to stop prayer in schools? Who has attacked Christmas? Who tried to ban Bibles? Who booed God at their convention? Who sued to put Christian bakers out of business? Who sued to force Nuns to violate their beliefs? Who wants certain Christian doctrine banned as hate speech? Who is constantly trying to get rid of Crosses and Manger scenes? Who said the church must evolve? Who said that religious beliefs must be changed? Who worked to ban Christian clubs on campus?
The winning argument is plain and simple: The Democratic Party is anti-Christian.
John Hawkins said, “The GOP often foolishly retreats from social issues. This is a huge mistake in an era when 76% of the country is Christian and most liberals find sincere Christian beliefs to be repellent. We don’t have to preach at anyone, wag our fingers, or turn into legions of Ned Flanders, but we shouldn’t be afraid to talk about our Christian beliefs, stick up for Christians who are under attack, and hammer the Left for its anti-Christian bigotry. Conservatism is a pro-Christian ideology and liberalism is an anti-Christian ideology. We should never be afraid to drive that point home.”
And where do the Democrats turn to get outside help? Witchcraft. They did not hold a prayer vigil against Judge Kavanaugh—they had witches conjure up a spell. I don’t think they believe in witchcraft. They chose witchcraft for no other reason than it is anti-Christian. And for good measure the witches gave a big donation to Planned Parenthood. Human sacrifice has always been a part of witchcraft.
Why are we afraid to zero in on this greatest of all arguments against Democrats? Are we more concerned about appearing unloving than we are about our religious freedom being destroyed?
This mid-term election is solely about the kind of nation you want your family to live in. Do you want freedom of religion or government openly hostile to your faith?
You need to wake up brother and sister and use our best argument. Your commitment to Christ should come before your race and gender. This is not a left-right or conservative-liberal debate. This is totally a case of…are you pro or anti Christian? We didn’t make it that way, they did.
This Sunday is the last sermon before the midterms. Every pulpit should make this point: Your vote can’t get any more moral. We can’t make a better argument. The Democrats are at war with Christianity.
75% of pastors have not taken a stand in their pulpits on the midterm elections. Think of that. With the highest stakes ever—and the Christian vote essential for victory—they have not talked about this election.
Do you doubt it? Go by your own experience. You will not only know it’s true, but it may be more than 75%. Did you hear anything last Sunday? Are you being instructed on the issues and who to vote for? Are you hearing excuses instead of conviction?
If the polls are right, it will take a miracle for Republicans to keep the House of Representatives. It should never have come to this. The Christian bloc should have won easily. Tens of millions of Christians had the power to vote the left out of office. So far, they haven’t.
If Nancy Pelosi returns as they predict she will, the Democrats will instantly seize the Russia investigation. They will move to impeach Trump and will even go after Kavanaugh. Expect a torrent of subpoenas and gridlock. Expect a recession. She’ll be back because pulpits are afraid.
I am an advocate for pastors. They have an impossible task today. There are many great men and women of God in America. That is what makes this virtual blackout on the midterms so bewildering.
Think of it. If a pastor is anything…they are a watchman. Do they understand how the sheep will suffer in a world of anti-God laws, hateful leaders, a trashed economy, and nation that will be far more divided that it is now? No matter how high-sounding their words—if they failed to protect the sheep from the one thing that will cause them suffering—they failed their most basic duty.
One of them said, “I will not allow divisive politics into the Kingdom of God.” My, doesn’t that sound right. However, it’s the pastors who refuse to speak up are the ones bringing “divisive politics” into the Kingdom of God. We who speak out are bringing the Kingdom of God to evil. Let me explain.
One of these silent pastors came up to me and said, “Mario, you are too political.” I thought “I’m the one who’s political?” I asked them “why aren’t you warning the church to vote against the evil of the left against the church?” His answer was “it would divide my church and effect my finances.” So, I said, “you mean it would cost you votes, and campaign funds? You’re the politician not me.”
This evil began as politics but has darkened into something that hates America and what we stand for. What we are trying to stop is not politics—it transcends politics. It is a Satanic agenda we are attacking. Ever since Obama, it stopped being politics and it became spiritual warfare.
The decision to seek self-preservation above the good of the people and the nation is the kind of politics that would make a leftist senator proud.
But there is another villain in this situation and I am calling you out. If you threatened your pastor—by removing your money or your influence—if they were taking a stand for the Republicans in this election,
I don’t care how right to be a Never Trumper or a pro Democrat Christian you think you are. Boycotting your church and intimidating your pastor is wrong—you should be ashamed.
If you don’t know what is at stake—if you don’t feel it is a natural extension of your faith in Christ to oppose abortion, legislation of immorality, and censorship of the church—if you attend church regularly and didn’t know how much we stand to lose by sitting this one out…blame your pulpit.
BUT NO MATTER WHAT VOTE!! Vote against the destruction of our freedom and our values. Even though it appears likely Nancy Pelosi will the Speaker and Maxine Waters will be on the finance committee—vote! Vote! Even though the experts are saying it is too late for Trump’s last-minute campaigning for beleaguered Republican candidates. There is still time for a miracle.
Are you being rallied to vote? Are you being armed with Scriptural precepts that show your undeniable duty in this hour?
The day when vessels of God could leave politicians alone is gone. The preacher who rebukes politicians today is not partisan or political—they are a normal servant of God.
That’s a bitter pill to swallow—but swallow it me must. The fictional detective Sherlock Holmes said, “How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?” What is left to you when you remove the mask of the Democratic Party? The truth about them is undeniable.
Here is the truth about the Democratic Party:
-The Democratic Party will work to force Christianity to change. Hillary Clinton said, “religious beliefs have to be changed.” CA Democratic Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi said, “the church must evolve.” They are the ones who let slip the goal of the Democratic Party.
-The flood of illegal immigrants you see—the open borders you see—the relentless effort to change the face of America you see is not by accident. It is by design. The sole intention of this invasion—for that’s what it is—is to keep an elite cadre of leftists in power. These elitists are in education, entertainment, media, technology and politics.
-They are the one who espoused violence. Faulty explosive devices sent to Liberal leaders? They blame Trump? Now they are calling for conservatives to stop violence? They have zero evidence that anyone except one deranged lunatic anything to do with those bombs.
Eric Holder said to kick them. Hillary said you can’t be civil. Maxine Waters called for mobs to form and harass them. Joe Biden and Robert Di Nero want fist fights with Trump. The New York Times runs a fantasy piece about assassinating Trump. Madonna said she wanted to blow up the White House.
I ask you…are conservatives rioting, burning, or shooting Democratic politicians? Do you see widespread civil unrest fomenting among Trump supporters? Who holds up bloody heads of Trump? Who cheer at plays that depict the assassination of Trump?
The call to tone down the rhetoric on both sides sounds rational but it is wholly misguided unless the left admits they are mostly responsible. Physical violence is almost the exclusive domain of the left. Trump supporters may yell and scream but examples of violence are rare compared to the left. How rich is it that George Soros is now condemning violence and hate after he has funded it for years?
But the real issue is that leaders in the Democratic Party will not call off their dogs. They are okay with riots. This is but a taste of the tactics they will employ not only on the street but in government. If they resort to riots, burning down buildings, bullying, censorship, and intimidation now…what will they do if they regain power?
No pastor—no matter how famous or wise—has been able to offer even a weak argument to defend their silence. Instead, even when confronted with all the facts—knowing they are without excuse—preachers simply drop the God Card: “God told me to keep quiet.” Well, no He didn’t.
Some say they don’t want to lose their tax exemption. What good will your tax exemption be when your congregation is driven underground?
When unapologetic evil emanates from the Democratic Party you vote against them. When soul-withering incompetence threatens to rule the House and Senate you stop it.
This Sunday every pulpit in America must direct their congregation to vote and how to vote against the destruction of America—for that is exactly what you will be doing.
This is it! You will have only one chance in your life to stop this madness. So, I ask you one last time…what is your church saying about this election?
