Trump is right

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer could not be more wrong or cold-blooded on this issue. Trump is right to declare a national emergency to build the wall.  It should outrage every believer and American to hear Pelosi and Schumer call this a manufactured crisis.

They said this front of millions of Americans and thousands of people who lost loved ones to murderers–murderers who had no right roaming among innocent Americans. Murderers that Nancy and Chuck still protect.

What is truly cold-blooded is that they know they are lying. They know that we know they are lying. They stand there embalmed of all human decency and robotically reel off their talking points.

No compassion. Not even a nod to those whose husbands, wives, sons, daughters, moms and dads were taken from them. Women were raped, beaten to death with a hammer—neighbors shot, beheaded, dismembered—a young police officer shot and killed the day after Christmas by a man who could not be arrested in Nancy’s home sanctuary state of California. Most of them killed Americans after several arrests and deportations.

The real victims, according to Nancy and Chuck, are the federal workers who  didn’t get paid during the shutdown.   But they will get their money back.  However, none of the real victims of the crisis will ever get their loved ones back.

What kind of a mind can draw a moral equivalence between a family that has lost a loved one to murder and a worker who at worst had their paycheck delayed? That is the manufactured crisis.

The smug, dismissive, intelligence insulting tone, of leftist leaders confirms the fear that our nation is run by an elite class.  The are demagogues who deem themselves above any accountability or the rule of law.  An elite class that themselves, live behind walls and are guarded by men with the guns, the same guns they want to take away from us. This elite class is served by everything from the media, to late night sock puppet hosts, and Hollywood.

What you see should enrage you. They are telling you it’s okay for the killing and looting to go on–that they don’t accept Trump’s facts–facts backed up by those who enforce the law and work at the border.

Schumer and Pelosi believe they decide the facts. They issue the only reality we are allowed to believe. They told you that you are too stupid and unworthy to draw any other conclusion than the official one that we give you.  Look closely at their expression it says, “when we want your opinion, we’ll give it to you.”

Trump is a true outsider. That is the root of all the hatred toward him. He shocked the denizens of the Washington swamp by actually keeping his promise. We all know that Chuck and Nancy voted for the wall but only changed their minds because Trump won. They have no motive but hate. They have no plan but to oust Trump.

The wall must be built not just for national security but for national sanity. At some point the people need to see the president they elected exercise the platform that won him that election. If ever a man needed to hold his ground on a matter it is Donald Trump. Do not give in Mr. President. Never!

You are right to declare a state of emergency for two reasons: 1. Drugs and killers are pouring in through the border costing us countless lives. 2. Democrats will let the disaster go on no matter what the cost in lives, so long as they can expand their voter base with illegals. Both are true national emergencies.

Pastors opposing Trump

Notable Christian leaders who did not speak out against Obama have now chosen to speak out against Trump.  Specifically they claim Trump’s  immigration policy is anti-Christian.

It makes zero sense.  Let’s begin with their silence on Obama. Obama was loading our children with debt.  Obama was the most hostile president to the Bible in history.  Obama fought for late term abortion.

Obama opened the Pandora’s Box of political correctness that has the racists calling everyone else racist, and the fascists calling everyone else fascists.  Obama is why our universities are a sick joke of intellectual dishonesty. You gave a pass to the man who was trying to drive the church underground.

Now you oppose Trump–the first president to address the March for Life.  Now you attack the president who finally stood up to the hideous Johnson Amendment that took away your free speech.  You use that newly won free speech to attack Trump.

The most devastating charge is this: you actively told your people not to vote for Trump.  Had you been successful—Hillary would be president today.

Now, dear pastors, you have moved on to attacking Trump’s immigration policies.  You don’t want a wall; you believe Jesus taught open borders.  That means that you have swallowed the Kool Aid of the left.

You are siding with sanctuary cities.  You are allowing a system that protects killers.  This one hits home to me because just recently in Reno where I live, an illegal immigrant murdered 4 people.

You are siding against your own congregation.  You are condoning flooding the labor market with unskilled labor even as robots replace workers. This impacts the life of the people you swore to serve.  You are blatantly contradicting yourselves claiming to be their pastor even as you help make their lives harder and more dangerous.

You once hid behind a bad exegesis of Romans 13 to justify your silence against bad government.  When you finally grew a conscience and realized civil disobedience is scriptural you waste it on the wrong argument.

I love you as my brothers, sisters and coworkers in Christ, but on this point you need to be publicly challenged.  Examine your argument and see if it is the one that is false and unchristian.

Illegals have killed and they will kill again.  Democrats only want them here for their vote.  Ask God if you are not pawns in their game.

Lastly, is a wall and a secure border unchristian?  Let’s ask Jesus.  “But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.” –Matthew 24:43

I have never been prouder

Mr. President, you caved in on the wall and I have never been prouder of you. The wall must be built. It is immoral not to have the wall.  The wall will be built.  So why am I saying that I am proud of Trump for caving on the wall?

All your enemies are parading right now and you are being ridiculed.  But I know the real story.  You did not lose or fail.

This will be the blog that I will get the most criticism for writing. However, I have never been so certain that I am speaking the truth. Please do not be lazy and judge me before you read this.

Look with me at 1 Kings 3: 16 Now two women who were harlots came to the king, and stood before him. 17 And one woman said, “O my lord, this woman and I dwell in the same house; and I gave birth while she was in the house. 18 Then it happened, the third day after I had given birth, that this woman also gave birth. And we were together; no one was with us in the house, except the two of us in the house. 19 And this woman’s son died in the night, because she lay on him. 20 So she arose in the middle of the night and took my son from my side, while your maidservant slept, and laid him in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom. 21 And when I rose in the morning to nurse my son, there he was, dead. But when I had examined him in the morning, indeed, he was not my son whom I had borne.”

22 Then the other woman said, “No! But the living one is my son, and the dead one is your son.” And the first woman said, “No! But the dead one is your son, and the living one is my son.” Thus they spoke before the king.

23 And the king said, “The one says, ‘This is my son, who lives, and your son is the dead one’; and the other says, ‘No! But your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.’ ” 24 Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So they brought a sword before the king. 25 And the king said, “Divide the living child in two, and give half to one, and half to the other.”

26 Then the woman whose son was living spoke to the king, for she yearned with compassion for her son; and she said, “O my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him!”

But the other said, “Let him be neither mine nor yours, but divide him.”

27 So the king answered and said, “Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother.”

Look deep into the eyes of Nancy Pelosi and what do you see? A grasping, cold heartless individual. Do you believe for one moment she cares about the government workers who aren’t getting paid? How far would she go to keep the government shut down. She would have kept it going no matter how much harm it did to families. She wouldn’t care if people were devastated.

When the two women stood before Solomon the real mother would not give into the false mother. Not for anything. But that changed when the life of the child was threatened. She was willing to lose. She was willing to be labelled the false mother.

Donald Trump loves American families and especially the American worker. The Democrat party on the other hand, does not—not even a little.

Does Trump care that this made him look weak…when he is actually being strong? Does he care that Nancy will do a victory dance with all the pomp of Jezebel in the Old Testament? No he does not. Neither does God, He knows the real story. Just as He brought justice through Solomon, He will reveal the true villains in this situation.

When it became clear that the damage would escalate to the point of doing great harm to families—when he realized that this was not a real estate deal like the ones he mentions in his bestselling book—when he realized that Pelosi could care less if it lasted a year and completely destroyed people—he, like that mom in the Bible, gave up his right to be right.

To the 800,000 of you who will now get paid remember: It was Donald Trump and not Nancy Pelosi who put you before politics. And by the way…Donald Trump will get the wall.

Mr. President, even some of your own will turn on you now. But I know…more importantly God knows, what is deep in your heart—what you did, and why you did it.  I have never been prouder of you. God bless you.

TWO MAJOR MINISTERS IN BRITAIN SHAME AMERICAN CHRISTIANS

When two major ministers in Britain shamed American believers who support Trump,  I felt  I needed to respond for two very big reasons.    The first is to lovingly dismiss their arguments and the second is to bolster the convictions of Christians who do support our president.

Let’s begin with what they said.  The Archbishop of Canterbury says he doesn’t understand why so many Christians in the US support President Donald Trump.

Justin Welby told ITV’s Peston on Sunday programme that he “really genuinely” can’t comprehend why Christian fundamentalists have provided such a strong base for Trump.

Paul Bayes, the bishop of Liverpool, said that some American religious leaders were colluding with a divisive system which “marginalises the poor”, contradicting the teachings of the Bible.

Bayes told the Guardian: “Some of the things that have been said by religious leaders seem to collude with a system that marginalises the poor, a system which builds walls instead of bridges, a system which says people on the margins of society should be excluded, a system which says we’re not welcoming people any more into our country.

“Whenever people say those kinds of things, they need to be able to justify that they’re saying those things as Christians, and I do not believe it’s justifiable.”

There’s a lot here and I will try to answer each as best I can.

The first is to the Archbishop:  You don’t understand, and I am glad you admit it.  I assume you also did not understand Barack Obama.  He wanted marriage laws that violated the Word of God.  He vehemently supported late term abortion.  He was more hostile to Scripture by far than any previous president.

Obama’s policies persecuted churches.  Under Obama, the church was gagged and intimidated.  Many regulations were put in place that targeted Christian businesses. Our children could be suspended from school for wearing clothing with Christian messages.  His unbridled spending took us to a 20 trillion-dollar debt.  His foreign policy moved the world into perilous chaos.  Why didn’t you question the Christians who supported him?

Why did we provide a wide base for Trump?  Because the only alternative was Hillary Clinton.  She vowed to intensify the policies of Obama.  She referred to herself as Obama’s third term.

To vote for her meant the church would suffer more.  He, on the other hand, ran on a promise to get the government off the back of the Body of Christ.  He has indeed kept his promise.

Maybe you don’t understand our election system. We didn’t have 12 choices we had only two.  What would you have had us do?  Abstain?  That is the same as a vote for Hillary. We do not regret supporting Donald Trump because the alternative is too terrible to imagine.

To Bishop Paul Bayes I simply ask…why did you put your statements out to a rag that is left wing and atheistic?  The Guardian?  Are you serious?  But I digress.  Let us answer your charges.

We are not colluding with a system that marginalizes the poor.  That system is the one that Democrats put in place.  Since there is an ocean between you and Detroit I will be gentle.

After 50 years and trillions of dollars, the inner cities under liberal domination look like they have been bombed.  The dole they receive has destroyed their incentive to work. The cradle to grave nanny state has been a breathtaking failure.

We Christians who back Trump believe that a strong economy with policies that reward personal responsibility gives the poor something urgent: The dignity of a pay check.  That is why unemployment among blacks is currently the lowest in decades.

On immigration you are also mistaken.  We have been the most welcoming nation in the world—far more than Britain.  That is how we ended up with 18 million illegal immigrants.  We spend 84 billion dollars a year on them.

And yes, they do bring in drugs and in fact some of them have murdered Americans.  People love to say that Trump called all illegal immigrants rapists and murderers. He did not.  He did say some of them are.

Did you know that 25% of the women who come in here illegally are raped by fellow illegals?  Do you really believe that none of them are bringing in drugs?  Are you really confused about why a nation with our crisis would want to secure their border?

Mexico is not trying to help us.  Corruption and hypocrisy have forced our hand.  They encourage their people to come here illegally.  They have zero control over the drug trade.  They resist taking back felons we deport.  What do you do with a nation that seems to be an ally that will not help you?

For an answer Bishop, look to Winston Churchill.  He begged France not to let their battleships fall into the hands of the Nazis.  When they wouldn’t on July 3, 1940 at the Battle of Mers-el-Kébir,  he destroyed French battleships to protect England.

We are building a wall for two reasons:  They work, and Mexico refuses to help us.  You also believe walls work.  That’s why you have one around Buckingham Palace.

Of course we want to welcome those who truly want to contribute to our nation.  What we want is a sane policy not the corrupt system that Democrats have in place that is simply a way to recruit new voters for their party.

Is it Christian for us to protect our borders?  Why don’t you ask Jesus Christ?  “But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.” -Matthew 24:43
