DID THE LEFT SOW THE SEEDS?

Has the angry left inadvertently sown the seeds of revival in California among an unlikely group?  Here’s is what is happening in our tent.

I cannot give you their names or show you a picture. For their safety. Some of them wept their way to Jesus sporting shaved heads and “Hitler” tattooed on the side of their head. But skin heads are not the only ones being saved. They are out of every race and background.

In our tent an average of 100 souls surrender to Jesus per night. But why is this one demographic coming to Christ in unusual numbers? Who are they? Are you ready?

They are young men. The trend began in our first tent crusade and grew more obvious in city after city. The left has targeted them, alienated them and in the process made them susceptible to Christ.

If you want to invoke the rage of the left just say something positive about young men—especially white young men. But their wrath is not just for them. Black young men are vilified.  If they think for themselves and do not mouth the mantra of the grievance movement.

Toxic masculinity is a favored excuse to exile young men. They are deliberately targeted for the sake of “progress” in our culture. Many of them wander aimlessly being shunned and stepped over in the leftist agenda.  Radical feminists ridicule them. Colleges persecute them. Cultural mores are stacked against them. Every mom who is raising a son today knows exactly what I am talking about.

Washington Post writer Christine Emba said it was sad that young men were finding hope in the lectures of Jordan Peterson. She even called the article The profound sadness of the Jordan Peterson phenomenon.

She said, “Peterson himself will tell you that serving as a father figure is his heaviest burden. Much of his work is dedicated to pushing a generation of confused youths to build character, put their lives in order, become adults. “I want to talk to you about how people exist in the world,” he told those in attendance last week. And that’s what this tour is all about. It is also what makes it profoundly depressing.

Peterson’s bestseller is a wordy self-help epistle for young men (it’s mostly men who follow him) in need of direction. Inside a cover invoking an old-school, gold- embossed Bible are lessons such as “Stand up straight with your shoulders back,” “Pursue what is meaningful (not what is expedient),” and “Tell the truth — or, at least, don’t lie.”

How can she find it “profoundly depressing” that young men are finding hope and direction?

The left’s message is undeniable: young men are an oppressive force. It doesn’t get any sicker than that.

Look at the pictures. The altars are filled with young men. Night after night it is the same. This attack on young men has inadvertently planted the seeds of revival in California. Will young men charge into the Kingdom and discover what it means to be a son of God and a man of God.  I know so!

At this hour, our tent is headed to Paradise California—a city destroyed by fire.  Some are saying it can’t be rebuilt. But I know better. I just had lunch with 50 Pastors and leaders from that community and they are amazing! Their determination is astounding!

It would be just like Jesus to give them beauty for ashes. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a community restored in heart and spirit before it is physically rebuilt.

They invited me here. I come as a servant not a celebrity. I am honored and humbled to work alongside them.

Please pray for these tent meetings. And please, if you know someone living near Paradise tell them about to come and witness the mighty power of God that will be under the tent every night.

Young men are indeed being systematically discarded in California. But that is a catalyst to revival. I know that as the tent travels south on Highway 99 we will see a snowball effect—an army of young men is being born. Psalm 118: 23 says, “This was the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”

Breaking News

Do you know the difference between turning a row boat around and turning an aircraft carrier around. No that is not the opening line to a DAD joke. It is a deadly serious question. Because you see I am in the process of doing that very thing.
To add extra nights to a church meetings is the row boat. You simply announce it and make a few changes in your schedule. Try to guess what the aircraft carrier is?

At this hour, a cloud of something very special hangs or the Marysville and Yuba City areas. Quite simply people are getting born again here night and day. A radiating conviction and draw of the Holy Spirit is felt generally…that means it is not limited to one location or to one time.
A team went to the mall and the first three people they prayed for were instantly healed. Tonight at the tent an Episcopal priest opened in prayer. Testimonies of miraculous healing are coming to us from many directions.
What does it mean? It means an event far and away beyond a good meeting has overtaken us. It means we have no choice but to stay and bring in this historic harvest.

We are moving to the Colusa Casino Stadium

We have no choice but to turn  the aircraft carrier around.  We are taking down this tent and putting up a bigger one. Not only that, we are  moving to a new venue—a baseball stadium. You heard it right—a baseball stadium.
When I began praying for Living Proof California I asked for more than I could imagine. I prayed, “Jesus, the darkness is so deep and the need so vast that we need a surpassing demonstration of your power. Well here it is.

The amount of effort it will take to remove one tent, move to a new site and set up another is only a part of the logistics that we are facing. Now we have the whole town’s attention. Now bigger devils will oppose us. If ever we needed your prayers we need them now!
On the other hand it is time to rejoice for indeed an event—not of this earth has come to the Yuba and Sutter counties.  Rejoice child of God, this is going to be amazing.

Don’t give up on our youth

Not only is this the worst moral condition I have seen, it is the worst in American history.   The facts about American youth: never has church attendance been this low—never have so many claimed to be atheists—never have they been this angry with churches—never have we seen such derision and hostility toward the teachings of Christ.  Therefore, this is the perfect time for a youth awakening.  How can this be?

Reason number one: The hurricane effect.  Scientists predict hurricanes by measuring a very unhurricane looking condition—they detect low air pressure over the ocean.  In other words, they know violent air is coming because the air is so nonviolent.   Nature always rushes to fill a vacuum.

Universities are sowing the seeds of revival by spiritually starving students.  They are not creating lifelong atheists…they are creating a vacuum.  The push to invalidate the Gospel will not remove the need of the human soul.  In fact, suppression of spiritual desires can make those desires overwhelming.

Reason number two: The Saul of Tarsus effect.  How can we be near to an awakening when so many of our youth are going to extremes with drugs, violence, and perversion?

Jesus spoke to Saul of Tarsus, “It is hard for you to kick against the goad.”  Saul got the message instantly.  He knew oxen kick against the sharp stick (goad) used to move them forward.  The goad was Saul’s destiny to become the Apostle Paul.  Saul was under deep conviction.  He knew his time as Saul was ending.  That turmoil drove his radical behavior.

Your child may be far from God and acting out great sin and anger, but it could be a sign—they’re on their own road to Damascus.  They are reeling with the feeling of a coming act of God.

Reason number three: Satan always overplays his hand.  If Lucifer truly wanted to fill hell, you’d think he’d make everyone rich and content.  Instead, he grinds people.  He makes them miserable and plunges them into despair.  He drives his victims to cry out to God for deliverance.  Satan’s hatred for mankind derails his tactics.

Reason number four: It’s God’s time.  Revivals do not begin in times of enlightened morality and peace.  They come when humanity writhes in the depths of depravity.  They come to those most cruelly vexed by the culture.  The brunt of cultural change always falls on the backs of youth.  Psalm 119:126 says, “It is time for you to act oh God for they have regarded your word as void.

I have given you four reasons a youth revival is coming, but now comes the crucial point of my letter to you: WE MUST BE PREPARED!  Carrying this inside information is not a blessing—it is an ominous responsibility.

We dare not speak in terms of business as usual.  Let me ask you, what should a ministry do if they know that in the coming days perhaps millions of youth will suddenly give in to a divine urge to serve Christ?  What would we do with such a miracle?  We should prepare.

One of Jesus’ greatest rebukes goes to the heart of this issue.  John 4:35 says, “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”

The correction begins with “do you not say.”   He is telling them they are wrong about what they say about the harvest.  “It’s 4 months away.”  Here’s our version:  An American youth revival is either impossible or off in some unknown future.

Next, He ordered them to lift up their eyes.  Look past the outward evil.  Look beyond the anti-God stage props of the culture.  The regular seasons of sowing and reaping have been overruled.  Amos 9:13 says, “‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And, all the hills shall flow with it.’”

The Modern English Translation says, “You will have such a harvest that you won’t be able to bring in all of your wheat before plowing time. You will have grapes left over from season to season; your fruitful vineyards will cover the mountains.”

Here’s my concluding message to you: DON’T SAY IT!  Don’t say we still need more time.  Don’t say some things have to change first.  Don’t say it can’t happen. Don’t say we can’t afford it!

I refuse to be caught unprepared for the harvest!  People close to me wonder about me.  Why do I drain our funds every month to buy equipment, train the army, invest in internet technology and furiously expand our reach?  Some are offended that I am continually challenging our partners.  I don’t care…I know a massive in-gathering is upon us—I refuse to be unprepared!

Jesus commanded them to look to the fields.  Church-bound Christians can’t see the fields.  Preachers consumed with survival programs can’t see the field.

Mario Murillo Ministries has not only seen the field—now, we live there. You know what we found on the field?  We found more souls who want Jesus than we have the resources to harvest.  We see the Holy Spirit pouring abundant and startling healings and conviction on young people.  In short, we are seeing the unreachable reached.

But I would rather risk suffering personal loss because I reached out than to endure the shame of sleeping through the harvest.   Proverbs 10:5 says, “He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.”

IT’S ALL ABOUT SOULS.  It’s about starting a youth revolution that will reverse the curse on America.  I don’t need to tell you how vicious the God-haters are right now.  I don’t need to remind you how extreme the left has gotten and how insane their ideas have become.  They are pushing America off a cliff.

Jesus was never vague about the crisis of winning souls.  Matthew 9:36 says, “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.’”

P.S. It is time for our Christian faith to activate! It is time to leave the safe zones. We are so sure that an outpouring on youth is possible that we have camped in the one state that is most likely to start national youth movements: California.
I cannot guaranteeing these meetings will turn California around. Although I know they can. What I do guarantee is that your life will be changed dramatically by praying and working with us.  I also guarantee that these nights in the tent will be the mightiest demonstration of the power of God in our history.

NO ONE CAN ESCAPE THE URGENCY OF REVIVAL IN CALIFORNIA

Dear Christian, the sooner you realize the West Coast has declared spiritual war on you and those you love; the sooner you can take action.  I know that many Christians have never learned spiritual warfare.  I also know the language of warfare is scarce and  unwelcome in many churches.

But now that we are losing our freedoms—now that the vile behavior of the back alley is on main street—now that families see the culture absorbing the faith of their children—believers may be open to finding authority over Satan.  But first, we need to call it war…war on the church.

When politicians ram through legislation like California Assembly Bill 2943 without informing the public—when they attack those with honest questions—when politicians say their new laws protect small groups when in fact they rip up the rights of others—what else can you call it?

To read more about this bill click here  https://wp.me/p1vrzp-5u2

What else can we call it when Senators manipulate language to vilify anyone who disagrees?  What should we call it when the real goal is not equality, justice, or truth, but an attempt to silence the church?  You call it war.

It is obvious why believers in California should be awake to the damage of Sacramento…but every believer in America should be alert to this West Coast tidal wave.  Every believer is in this fight.  We cannot escape the urgency of revival in California.

Way too many ministers taught easy believism and made Christians apathetic when they needed to take action.   Too many preachers today remind us, “it’s all in God’s hands.” While that is a comforting truth it is not the one we need right now.  That’s been an excuse to be passive and missing in action.

But everywhere you look in the Bible it is against passivity and advocates action: “fight the good fight of faith…” “Endure hardness as a good soldier…” “Resist the devil…” “Take the sword of the Spirit…”

Ephesians 6: 10-13 says “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.   For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

It is urgent that we pray in a way we have never prayed before.  Stand between heaven and earth as a true intercessor.  Invoke the Name above all Names to get to the very Throne of God with your petition.  Do what Moses did when he raised the rod of Aaron over the battle. When you pray, pray violently, pray exactingly, detailing the damage you want done and where you want it done. By the Spirit, speak directly to evil powers. Call them out and cast them down.  Cut their power over California.

It is time to preach with more boldness and miracles than ever before.  At the first attempt to silence the church Peter prayed this prayer:  Acts 4:29,30 says, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.”

We cannot escape the urgency of revival in California.  California in its current condition can pull the nation down with it—but never forget Azusa Street, Billy Graham, and The Jesus Movement all had their start in California and then overflowed to America and the rest of the world.

Here is the great promise: When God sees someone take up the mighty weapons of God—in the Name of Jesus—and attempt the impossible—God will muster all of the resources of heaven to bring that someone total victory.

P.S.  For those of you who live in California and want to contact your state senator.    Use this link to find your state Senator.  http://senate.ca.gov/senators

When you email or call your Senator be firm but polite. Tell them you will be voting in the next election and that you will be campaigning for politicians who reflect your values.
