Rush Limbaugh Warns Obama Will Do Things We Can’t ‘Conceive of Now’

Rush Limbaugh Warns Obama Will Do Things We Can’t ‘Conceive of Now’

Radio host Rush Limbaugh is warning listeners: during Barack Obama’s upcoming, final year in office, the president will move ahead with whatever he desires because “he knows nobody’s gonna stop him.”

“We’re fast approaching Obama’s last year in office,” Limbaugh said. “I want to warn you again, in all likelihood, there are going to be things this president does in the next 12 months that you can’t even think of or conceive of now.”

Limbaugh continued that Obama recognizes no limits to his power and he will do what he wants – “it doesn’t matter what the courts say, it doesn’t matter if Obama policies have a stay on them or temporary halt.”

“It’s his last chance to have personal stamps or fingerprints on the transformation of this country,” Limbaugh added. “He knows the Republicans have taken impeachment — it’s late for that anyway. There’s not gonna be any effort to stop him.”

Obama and the Democrats have already made clear they intend to further diminish the Second Amendment by using executive action to expand background checks to cover private gun sales, as Breitbart News reported Tuesday.

According to Limbaugh, Americans can’t rely on Republicans to block Obama’s efforts to further shred the Constitution.

“The Republicans are looking beyond Obama and focusing on trying to win the White House themselves and they’ve just chalked it up, whatever happens this next year happens, and Obama knows all that,” he said, but added, “The American people are gonna be angry as they can be and demanding that some action be taken to stop some of these things.”

“I can’t begin to predict the outrageous things that are going to happen specifically, but I’m pretty safe in telling you that there are going to be such things because there continue to be such things today,” Limbaugh said.

He also observed that Obama’s apparent contempt for the limits of his office as provided for in the Constitution has set a precedent for future presidents.

“Obama has blown through the Constitution like a tornado and has, in the process, set precedents, and there have been people seeking office who have said that they are going to fix the things Obama has broken themselves using the singular powers that Obama has appropriated for himself,” he noted. “In other words, Obama’s wanton overstepping the Constitution has created precedent where future presidents, if they’re inclined, might feel that they could or should do so as well.”

8 Reasons Democrats Hate Traditional Marriage

Democrats are ruining marriage

8 Reasons Democrats Hate Traditional Marriage

By GINA LOUDON

Have you ever wondered what it is about traditional marriage that is so offensive to Democrats?

1) Married people overwhelmingly vote Republican

For the last several elections, traditionally married people have overwhelmingly voted Republican. Married men and women supported Romney by 14 percent. Married women alone supported Romney by seven points. If only married people were allowed to vote, the GOP couldn’t lose no matter how hard it tried – no matter how spineless and worthless its candidates. The inverse is also true. If Democrats can cause fewer people to get married and fewer people to value traditional marriage, Democrats can destroy the GOP’s advantage among that group of voters.

2) Married people are physically healthier

Studies throughout the years have all agreed that in almost every way, married couples are physically healthier. Married people live longer, are less likely to develop cancer and heart disease, and are healthier in more ways than can be listed here.

You may wonder why Democrats are opposed to people being healthy.

Simply put, when people are healthy, they don’t need help from the government. Of course, no matter how healthy one may be, we are all now forced to purchase health insurance.

3) Married people are mentally healthier

Married people are less likely to suffer depression, develop dementia, commit suicide and are protected from a host of other disorders. Married people are also more likely to describe themselves as happy.

But why would Democrats be opposed to people being mentally healthier?

All it takes is one mentally deranged person to act out violently for Democrats to rush to a TV camera to call for more gun control and government surveillance. If only government agents were able to snoop on everyone (conservatives) 24/7, they could prevent violent outbursts. Also, they claim that if all guns were banned (except from men who guard the president and leftist politicians), there would be no more gun violence.

4) Married people are wealthier

Research done by Ohio State University found that married people individually are almost twice as wealthy (93 percent wealthier) than single people.

To a Democrat, that screams income inequality. It is unfair in the mind of a progressive for married people to have more money than unmarried people. Besides, what did those evil married people do to steal that money from everyone else? Don’t worry. Democrats will turn those tax credits for married couples into taxes levied against married couples. If only those pesky right-wing extremists would get out of the way, they could tax traditional marriage out of existence. That hasn’t been formally proposed yet, but don’t think that hasn’t crossed the minds of Democrats in D.C.

5) Marriage celebrates the differences between men and women

Feminist Democrats have been complaining for decades about being on unequal footing with men. Married people come together to combine the strengths that are inherent in males and females. Married people recognize the differences between the genders. They understand these differences are natural. Traditional marriage is disgusting to the militant feminist, and they’ve joined forces with Democrats to make sure that gender differences are blurred and that marriage is destroyed.

6) “Big Daddy Government” wants to replace the support of a spouse

Democrats love when people are dependent on D.C. Once Democrats can end the ability of churches to charitably help people and end the ability of spouses to help each other, the only place to turn will be a politician or a bureaucrat. More government employees means more voters who support big-government Democrats.

7) Marriage promotes accountability

Single people can make bad decisions without reproach. Men are better at making some decisions than women and vice versa. Whether it is a financial decision, a health-related matter or anything in between, married people usually talk things over before decisions are made and make better decisions from the start.

The government doesn’t need to restrict menu items at the fast-food restaurant to make a man quit his junk-food eating binges. The wife will handle that! The government doesn’t need to handle people’s finances or make sure they are planning for retirement. The husband will handle that.

When bad decisions are made or about to be made, one spouse will often warn of possible negative outcomes, or dissuade the poor decision. Democrats are dependent on people being dependent. If more Americans make solid decisions, and are held accountable by those who love them, then they need less government in their lives.

8) Marriage promotes children

Organizations like ZPG (Zero Population Growth), Planned Parenthood and even animal rights groups flourish when fewer children are born, or when having fewer children is the goal. All of those organizations are arms of the Democratic Party, so when they flourish, so does the cash in the coffers of the Democratic Party.

Should the government just stay out of marriage? No!

Democrats flourish when marriage is diminished, but many on the right side of the political spectrum still refuse to take a stand on the issue. They have fallen for the lie of the left that conservatives should be neutral on the issue. The idea that the government should “stay out of marriage” is exactly what the left would love the right to believe. If Democrats and their allies actively push to destroy marriage, and Republicans can be convinced that they should be neutral on the issue, then Democrats will win this one easily and traditional marriage will be something we will soon read about in history books.

There are few things the government can do to make a society safer, healthier and wealthier. Promoting traditional marriage is the biggest and easiest one of all. This is an easy sell to the American people if the GOP will just grow a backbone. Anyone who believes in a stronger America should make it their main issue in upcoming elections to defend and promote traditional marriage.

Who could possibly be against a stronger America? The answer: Democrats.

Why American Preachers will not unify against the anti-God White House.

Why American Preachers will not unify against the anti-God White House.

By Mario Murillo

You deserve to know why.  There are 500,000 ministers in America.  If they would unify and stand for Bible values, it would end the insanity of the White House overnight.  Why won’t they unify?

Make no mistake.  I am not anti-church and I am especially not anti-pastor.  I am loyal to my fellow preachers.  I am committed to the local church.

But I am also against the lie that says ministers should mind their own business while America is ringing down the drain.

This post has one passion.  It is to provoke someone far more influential than I.  Whoever that person is needs to stand now and use every last drop of their influence.  They must unify the ministers of America into one mighty voice.  It is time for a non-violent revolution; a firewall against the onslaught of evil…it is the only way this nation will be spared.

Half a million ministers should be able to do something!  Sadly, Satan has done a number on a great many of them.  In fact, this is by far the most widespread dereliction of duty by any generation of American preachers.  The enemy has neutralized pastors.  He has paralyzed some of them with fear.  He has deceived a host of them with false doctrine and false guidance.  He has seduced many of them with compromise.

I praise the faithful preacher, but I herewith indict the compromised preacher.  As I said, you who are in the pews deserve to know why your minister refuses to speak out.  Here are the reasons listed in order of importance.

  1. Fear of losing non-profit status. In the 1950’s, Lyndon Johnson caused the church to make a deal with the devil. The deal is known as the 501C3 designation.  Frustrated by pastors who were telling their people not to vote for him, Johnson introduced legislation that silenced the church.  In exchange for IRS status, churches agreed not to endorse political candidates.  The church did not need this designation because they were already tax exempt in the Constitution.  This fear is utterly unfounded because no pastor’s free speech can be overruled by the IRS.

It makes no sense to say you fear losing your status.  Unless we begin speaking out, an America is coming where it is illegal for your church to meet.  What good will your nonprofit status do you when you are an underground church?

  1. Lifestyle: 50% of all preachers who were polled said that if there was another way for them to make money they would leave the ministry. That means that for many preachers the ministry is just a paycheck.

If speaking out against Obama will cost them tithers, if standing for marriage and the unborn will offend some, they will not risk anything that could threaten their lifestyle.

  1. Racism: This happened in the midst of Andrae Crouch’s funeral. Stevie Wonder said, “The only reason that people have rejected Obama’s policies of inclusion is because he is black.” In a spirit-filled church, during the memorial to a Gospel legend who did more than anyone before him to cross racial lines with Gospel music, Mr. Wonder had to inject race.  When you value the race of a politician above Christianity, Bible values, and morality, it is racism.
  2. Ignorance of Scripture: Preachers today do not know the Bible. Many no longer believe it is the inspired Word of God.  They have crafted their sermons from pagan writers, motivational speakers and secular music lyrics.  They do not pray and search the scriptures. Instead they research pop culture.

This is why they are ignorant of their calling to be watchmen over the flock of God.  This ignorance of the Bible is why we hear them agreeing with atheists and secular humanists.

  1. Ignorance of America: They do not value America. They have forgotten the way God worked in our history. Linked to this ignorance of America is their ignorance of the threat to her existence.  They do not understand what moral awakenings have meant to the United States.  Since they are ignorant of this miracle called America, they are also ignorant of the urgency for revival.
  2. Apathy: Two extremes create apathy; one is self-sufficiency and the other is total discouragement. When ministers have too much or too little, they say, “What is the use in trying anymore?” One has given up because they don’t need the drama. The other has given up because they believe it is hopeless.

Even though the causes are totally opposite, the result is the same:  A nation dies because leaders cannot muster the necessary outrage to take appropriate action.

  1. Competition: Many preachers do not see their fellow ministers as brothers in arms. They see them as competition.  They see them as predators of their people.  Wanting the biggest church has blinded them to the fact that we are all in the same army; that we are on the same side.  Some preachers actually relish the idea that their competitor is losing members and suffering loss.

So here is the bottom line.  Our refusal to repent of these things, our rebellion against our duty to stand as one voice against the evil of our government, will cost us the nation.

I am not the man to unify the leaders.  It is quite possible that someone reading this is the person to make it happen.  As I said at the very beginning, we could wipe out the insanity of the White House in no time if we would stand together.  If we do not, we will go down in history as the worst generation of preachers in American History.

“But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, ‘Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.’”- Acts 5:19, 20.

Living Proof comes to Austin during Jade Helm 15

By Mario Murillo

Here is my message to those of you who believe Jade Helm 15 is the start of martial law: trust me, I do not discount the possibility.  For those of you who think it is utter nonsense consider this devastating fact:  most would not be surprised that our own military could be preparing to take away our freedoms.

In blog after blog I have been crying out like a voice in the wilderness.  America now needs a miracle that is indescribable and unprecedented.   However, my God specializes in the impossible.

Why would God bring us here at this time unless He meant to do something impossible?

Living Proof Austin, TX will happen during Jade Helm 15 this weekend.  We did not plan it that way, but God did.  There is a purpose to our being in Austin that is way beyond what we know.

I have been totally silent about Jade Helm.  I am waiting for hard evidence that our government is planning to establish martial law.

This much I do know…

-For the first time, a massive army will be walking on private property, not wearing uniforms and blending into communities.

-Millions of Texans are wondering why Texas is designated as “hostile territory” in this elaborate war game, while states that are favorable to Obama are listed as “friendly.”

Let’s assume there is no martial law planned.   That leaves only two reasons for designating Texas as hostile and those reasons are really bad.

1. The military has made an epic public relations blunder. Texas is taking many stands against Washington right now. Texans are ignoring Obama’s executive orders. They oppose the Supreme Court rulings on marriage, Obamacare and immigration.

Why on earth wouldn’t generals realize how this looks?  How could the joint chiefs not realize that this plays right into the worst suspicions of Texans?  If this is a screw up it is a massive one and makes us wonder about our security.

2. Obama is trying to intimidate Texas and other states who oppose him. Is it really this easy for the “Commander in Chief” to step in on a preexisting military operation and tweak designations like hostile and friendly territories.  If the military can be manipulated this easily then “God help us” is not just a figure of speech.

Of course we have no reason to believe that Obama would behave in such a peevish manner…do we?

On a much needed lighter side:  If Obama is doing that, he doesn’t know Texans.  He needs to remember what the park ranger said, “Don’t shoot the grizzly with your pistol; you’ll just make him mad.”

Pastor and Lou copy

It is a great honor to bring Living Proof to Austin, Texas this weekend.   We are partnering with Jim and Lou Lillard and House of the Lord Fellowship Church.  I regard Jim as one of the greatest pastors, spiritual fathers and men of FAITH in our nation.  It is awesome to team up with Jim and Lou.

House of the Lord Fellowship is not just a congregation; this is the best trained core of Christians you will ever meet.

Their mission statement reads: “House of the Lord Fellowship Church is a family of believers focusing on impacting Austin, Texas, and beyond with Faith in God, the truth of God’s Word and the amazing love God has for us.”

Their motto is: Faith through knowledge produces truth in action.  That motto will come alive this weekend as we expect an outflow of miracles leading to an influx of souls.

Whatever the military has in mind for Austin, God has something greater!

It has been over a decade since we have crusaded in Austin.  This is God’s time!  We welcome our friends from this region to come and see the new surge of anointing that is resting on us.  God has added firepower to MMM in order to reach America.

The lame will walk.  The deaf will hear.  The blind will see.  God will heal cancer and every other malady in the mighty Name of Jesus.  These are not catch phrases for us…these are convictions.  We hang our lives on these convictions!  Bring all who need a miracle.  God will not disappoint them.

Joining me in this great outreach is Ray and Debra Larson.  They will lead the morning sessions in Austin.

Ray and Debra copy

Ray and I are veterans at winning the lost and healing the sick.  We teamed up for many great crusades in Redding, California when he was pastor of Bethel Church.  Under his leadership, Bethel grew from 80 people to over 2,000 members.

Ray and Debra were led to move to Reno, Nevada, six months before the Lord directed Mechelle and me to Reno!  God is doing a new thing here.  Stay tuned because you are going to hear way, way more about this.

Everything about Living Proof Austin points to the fact that something urgent will begin this weekend.  If at all possible bring someone who needs a miracle.  Prepare to receive the touch from God for these desperate days.

Here is the schedule of events in Austin:

Strong Delusion

strong delusion

Strong Delusion

America, you are under a strong delusion. The terrifying part is who may be doing it.

by Mario Murillo

No one can explain why.  Why would America veer into this mindless frenzy to pull her own greatness out by the roots?

-Why would a generation reelect a man that plunged them into poverty, violence and chaos?

-Why would a generation of black pastors trade in their Bibles to stand with the most blatantly anti-church agenda in American history?

-How can you explain a populace that gleefully opens their border to welcome murderers, rapists and drug dealers to come and ravage innocent citizens?

-Why would you aging hippies and 70’s protesters stand with a president who embodies all of the tyranny you fought against?   How bizarre to end up being the anti-free speech movement.

why

Why, America, are you okay with a state owned media that will not investigate the crimes of Benghazi, the IRS, the Justice Department, and the NSA?

What is up when a man can steal your credit card–in history’s greatest case of identity theft– run up a $19 trillion national debt, and you still smile at him?

Why has science allowed itself to become a tool of the state?  Scientists will not level with us on anything that will challenge the agenda.   What will legalization of every form of sexual perversion do to children?  We won’t know because it is “hateful” to ask.

What is really going on with the weather and why do you want to spend vast amounts of our hard earned money to enforce a pact with all the nations of the world?  “Trust us,” they say, “we know best.”

What is this insane celebration of sexual deviance that blasphemes the civil rights movement?

benghazi copy

Jonathan Cahn, Rabbi, Pastor, Bible teacher and author of “The Harbinger” and “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” says the June 26 Supreme Court ruling that legalized gay marriage in all 50 states marks the formal end to Christian America. Barring a “miracle of God,” he says in the 4th of July message, “the die has been cast.”

What drug was the Supreme Court on when it violated every oath it had ever taken to ramrod Gay Marriage on all Americans?   They created a law even though the constitution declares that they do not have that power.  They even admitted that they created a precedent that will bring polygamy and adult/child marriage to the court.

Why would we declare war on Jesus Christ and protect the images of Mohammed?  What form of mad double-mindedness denounces the church as hateful while it protects Islamic extremists?

There is only one explanation: America, you are under a strong mass delusion.  No nation willfully abandons its greatness in exchange for perversion, poverty and misery unless there has been a spirit of delusion unleashed in the land.

Obama-angry-10

Stella Morabito said, “In fact, many newly propagandized ideas seem to have taken America by storm just in the past decade or so. Same-sex marriage is only one of those ideas. Transgenderism is now eclipsing that notion, and its propaganda techniques—wrapped in the language of civil rights—are getting Americans on board with the idea of erasing all sex distinctions in law, including their own. It’s as though Americans are buying into a fast-talking sales pitch without being allowed to read the print, whether it’s large print or small.”

But it is even worse than she says.  Not only are Americans deluded, they disconnect from their own suffering in order to keep the lie alive.  I give money to the homeless a lot.  Try this… ask the next panhandler who they voted for in the last two elections.   See if they remember having to beg before this presidency.   Ask them if there is any regret.  The befuddled look you get will say it all.

There are ways to measure a generation’s decline.  Peter Marshall, the legendary Chaplain of the United States Senate, once drew a comparison between the sinking of the Titanic in 1912 and the sinking of the Athenia in 1939.

As the Titanic sank, the men on board sang the hymn Nearer my God to Thee.  The men on board the Athenia sang Roll out the barrel, we’ll have a barrel of fun.   Peter Marshall said, “You can see what has happened to a nation’s faith – you can see what has happened to the faith of people in thirty years, can’t you? Facing eternity, to the strains of the beer-barrel polka, what a commentary, upon the faith, of immortal souls.”

generation copy

THE MEN ON THE TITANIC SANG THE HYMN “NEARER MY GOD TO THEE”  WHILE THE MEN ON THE ATHENIA SANG “THE BEER BARREL POLKA”

But what would Peter Marshall think of us now?  What would he say about this comparison?  In 1976, a generation declares Bruce Jenner a national hero for winning the Olympic Decathlon.  “Jenner is twirling the nation like a baton; he and his wife, Chrystie, are so high up on the pedestal of American heroism, it would take a crane to get them down,” wrote Tony Kornheiser in The New York Times in 1977.

Now we contrast that with 39 years later.  A generation hails him as a hero for becoming a woman.  Our president leads the cheer saying, “It takes courage.”  This is our new definition of courage…this is our new heroism.

Jenner copy

2 Thessalonians 2:11,12 declares,  “And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

There is one very big question to answer.  Is our mass delusion leading to the judgment of God or is the mass delusion judgment in itself?   It is chilling to consider.  We have always assumed that America’s plunge into moral insanity was the work of the devil.

If you think that Satan can send delusion, think about what God can do to delude minds into destroying themselves.  Is this the first stage of our judgment?

What if God has turned America over to a strong delusion in order to get her to believe a lie?  Masses of Americans have come to believe that the most absurd, destructive and mindless way to live is okay with them.  How could they do this without a spirit of delusion?  How could they keep going unless they were catatonic zombies marching to the beat of a national hallucination?

hallucination

What if that delusion extends to the church?  Is mass delusion the reason for the apathy and silence of American Christians?  Doesn’t delusion explain how we can have giddy Christian gatherings in the face of certain national doom?

Why is your pastor not crying out to the nation to repent?  Why is there no chorus of prayer asking for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit?  How can any voice enter a pulpit at this time without a sense of urgency?  Is it because a spirit is on them that holds them in denial?

We have every reason to believe that prior generations of Christians would be staging mass rallies, crying out with fasting and prayer.  If you announce such a thing today, believers will not show up.

hillary vicious

American Christians binge on flattering sermons and exotic emotionalism.  Some are even getting drunk and carousing while the nation burns.  How can they do that without a strong delusion?

America, it feels intelligent to bask in this new agenda.  You can feel hip legalizing everything while making God illegal. Take a closer look.  Your heart, mind and emotions are deteriorating under the influence of the culture.  You are losing your children, your free time, independent thought and even logic to this horrific lie.

You know that when you invited God out, you invited misery in.   You know that One Nation under God was not just a motto; it was a catalyst to prosperity, justice and happiness. That is what getting right with God does.

Yet, the delusion runs so deep that we cannot see the next step in our destruction is Hillary Clinton.  She has already screamed at us that Benghazi does not matter.  She has already surpassed Obama avoiding questions and hiding her true intentions.

Peter stood before Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost and cried out, “Save yourself from this perverse generation (Act 2:40).” It was a call to escape mass delusion.

There may be a thread of mercy in all of this. Like the father, wanting to make his son stop smoking, made him smoke a whole pack of cigarettes until the boy threw up.  Maybe God is letting us overdose in this swamp in the hopes that we will vomit out this insanity before it is too late.

On the other hand…what if we are under judgment and have been turned over to mass delusion for our destruction?    In either case, why would you read this, walk away and not repent?  Isn’t that proof of delusion?  Right now, kneel and pray and tell God that you choose life.

The FCC snatches political control over more of the economy.

The Federal Communications Commission’s decision Thursday to regulate the Internet as a public utility is a depressing moment for American innovation and economic liberty. The FCC is grabbing political control over a vibrant market that until now has been driven by inventors and consumers. Welcome to the Obamanet.

President Obama demanded this result in a November speech, and FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler and Democrats Mignon Clyburn and Jessica Rosenworcel have now dutifully voted to apply last century’s monopoly telephone rules to Internet service providers. They have in the process made a mockery of the agency’s supposed independence.

The rules are ostensibly to prevent Internet companies from blocking customer access to particular websites or slowing down service. But the FCC has presented no evidence that this is occurring, so the power grab is being justified by some theoretical future harm.

By the way, the FCC hasn’t released the text it has now approved as a final rule, which according to dissenting Republican Commissioner Ajit Pai runs to more than 300 pages. It’s not clear when the public will be permitted to see what Washington has done, and the normal comment period has been bypassed on a plan that is vastly different than what Mr. Wheeler has previously proposed.

Meantime, Mr. Wheeler will exercise what FCC lawyers call “editorial privileges,” allowing him to craft his arguments after reading the two dissents. Taxpayers might prefer that regulators analyze the pros and cons beforevoting to impose something on the whole country, and we hope judges feel the same way when the rules are challenged in court.

But based on an FCC summary, it’s clear that the agency has done administratively what Congress has always refused to do: make the old telephone and broadcasting overseer the general regulator of the Internet. Providers of broadband services will be barred from employing any “unjust or unreasonable practices,” whatever FCC bureaucrats decide those words mean. The FCC release also makes clear that government attorneys—not engineers—will decide what “reasonable network management” is.

And while “net neutrality,” the fuzzy concept used to justify these rules, was originally sold as a way to ensure that consumers are treated well, the rules will go well beyond those customers. Digital communications networks that exchange Internet traffic will also have to be “just and reasonable” with each other. The bureaucrats will exercise their discretion to define those words case-by-case, always listening to the best-paid lobbyists.

It’s hard to imagine a more just and reasonable market than today’s Internet. According to the website DrPeering, which tracks the agreements among communications companies to move information, the price of moving data across the Internet has been falling roughly 30% a year since the late 1990s. That collapsing cost per bit is a big reason Internet usage has skyrocketed. Consumers downloading huge volumes of video are paying bills not much different than when they were mainly visiting static websites.

That isn’t good enough for the likes of Netflix , which now generates more than a third of all Internet traffic, and other major bandwidth users that are the chief lobbyists for the new FCC rules. Netflix doesn’t detail its spending on Internet transport, though a telecom source estimates Netflix spends less than a penny for every movie it sends to a customer. But now CEO Reed Hastings has succeeded in subjecting the entire Internet economy to regulations that will be far more expensive.

The FCC’s Democrats promise—for now—to “forbear” from enforcing 700 of the most onerous and unnecessary of the old telephone regulations. But dissenting GOP Commissioner Mike O’Rielly calls it “fauxbearance” because the authorities the FCC is assuming are so broad it can still dictate conditions and practices that were subject to the old rules. And even if they do forbear, activists will sue to force the FCC to regulate under the “just and reasonable” standard.

Under the new rules, an Internet company must be sure that its innovations and actions don’t “unreasonably disadvantage” others. Would Apple even exist if the government had forced Steve Jobs to be “reasonable” with all of his competitors?

The FCC’s power grab is so comprehensive that Google and the other Silicon Valley grandees who promoted regulation may soon come to regret it. Mr. O’Rielly says the agency could enforce the rules against website operators like Google or Facebook . The new rules will also unleash a torrent of lawsuits, and nobody is better at maneuvering through the bureaucracy than giant companies like AT&T and Verizon . The losers will be the smaller companies that can’t afford a lobbying machine.

***

Congress likely won’t be able to stop the FCC, so the best near-term response will have to come in the courts. In the best case, the lawsuits will delay the new rules until after the 2016 election. Then a new President less set on political control can appoint a new FCC and rewrite this effort to subject this great engine of American innovation to the untender clutches of the same folks who brought you ObamaCare.

A Christian Convention for these dark times

A Christian Convention for these dark times

By Mario Murillo

The odds are that this year you will attend a seminar, a conference or a convention. The question is why are you going?  Is it to receive power, guidance, vital information, or to fellowship with friends and people of like mind?

The times we are living in demand something much deeper.  We are facing a threat to our freedoms, our loved ones, our ministries and our souls like never before. We are at a spiritual point of no return.

You do not have time to sit in sessions that do not deal with your actual life. You seek a new level in God.  You want something that lasts, something that addresses this dark time.

Recently, someone asked me why the early Pentecostal movement spread so fast.  I found that question to be profound and insightful.  The asker was assuming that its growth had slowed down.  And he is correct.  For example, under Reinhardt Bonke, Nigeria became Pentecostal but today it is drowning in radical Islam.

I fear that one reason for this reversal is that the lukewarm mutation created by American Christians spread to the rest of the world.

Spirit-filled Christianity here at home, even as recently as the 1990’s, was focused on winning souls and living pure lives.  Since then, sadly, North American Christians have come to fulfill 2 Timothy 3:5 “having a form of godliness but denying its power.”

Spirit-filled preachers leave out vital doctrines from their sermons and caved in on moral issues such as same-sex marriage and abortion. The occasional mega church does not change the fact that we are losing the battle to our culture and that is the only thing that matters.

Others leaders go to the opposite extreme delving into exotic emotional binges.

Many lament the fact that our movement has polarized into both the frozen and the freaky.  We now have to choose between churches with either no fire or strange fire.

The answer to our early movement spread because it was real.  The fire of God was real.  The miracles were real.  By trying to “improve the Gospel” we made it unreal.  By taking self out of the Gospel preachers can again have great power.

Back to my original point: The odds are that this year you will attend a seminar, a conference or a convention. The question is why are you going?

Obama is disconnected, out of touch, in denial

Obama’s disconnected, out of touch, in denial State of the Union

BY BYRON YORK | JANUARY 21, 2015 | 8:00 AM

Perhaps the most striking thing about the 2015 State of the Union address was not the president at the podium but the audience in the seats. The joint session of Congress listening to President Obama Tuesday night included 83 fewer Democrats than the group that heard Obama’s first address in 2009 — 69 fewer Democrats in the House and 14 fewer in the Senate. The scene in the House Chamber was a graphic reminder of the terrible toll the Obama years have taken on Capitol Hill Democrats.

Not that the president would ever acknowledge that. Indeed, in more than an hour of speaking, Obama never once acknowledged that there was a big election in November and that the leadership of the Senate has changed. Obama’s silence on that political reality stood in stark contrast to George W. Bush’s 2007 State of the Union address, in which he graciously and at some length acknowledged the Democrats’ victory in the 2006 midterms. Bush said it was an honor to address Nancy Pelosi as “Madam Speaker.” He spoke of the pride Pelosi’s late father would have felt to see his daughter lead the House. “I congratulate the new Democrat majority,” Bush said. “Congress has changed, but not our responsibilities.”

If one cannot imagine Obama saying such a thing — well, he didn’t.

Just as remarkable, against the backdrop of the Democratic electoral carnage of his years in office, was that the president’s most memorable line of the night was a bit of ad-lib bragging about his own election victories. When Obama said, “I have no more campaigns to run,” some Republicans snarkily began to applaud, whereupon the president shot back, “I know, because I won both of them.” Some Democrats dutifully cheered Obama’s comeback line, even though his victories ended up costing them a lot.

Beyond failing to acknowledge the new reality on Capitol Hill, Obama at times seemed equally out of touch with reality both in the nation and the world.

“In Iraq and Syria, American leadership — including our military power — is stopping ISIL’s advance,” Obama said, referring to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. The claim left some foreign policy observers aghast, since there is a general consensus that the Islamic State is making progress in the face of limited American air attacks. “That just isn’t the case, according to military officials I’ve been speaking to,” NBC foreign correspondent Richard Engel said of Obama’s statement. “[The Islamic State] are taking new territory.” Of Obama’s description of a world in which the Islamic State is retreating, Afghanistan is on the road to peace, and terrorists are on the run from South Asia to North Africa, Engel concluded, “It sounded like the president was outlining a world that he wishes we were all living in.”

Obama sounded equally disconnected from reality on some domestic issues. For example, when discussing the nation’s veterans, he said, “Already, we’ve made strides towards ensuring that every veteran has access to the highest quality care.” A listener wouldn’t know it from Obama’s speech, but there has been a huge VA scandal since Obama’s last State of the Union; his secretary of Veterans Affairs had to resign because of it. Veterans died waiting for treatment. All Obama said Wednesday night was, “We’re slashing the backlog that had too many veterans waiting years to get the benefits they need.” By “benefits,” the president apparently meant “life-saving medical care.”

At another point, Obama claimed credit for a “re-energized space program.” The remark surely led to some jaws dropping among laid-off National Aeronautics and Space Administration engineers who believe Obama has nearly killed the place.

The president’s final disconnect was perhaps the biggest. After a “vicious recession … tonight, we turn the page,” Obama said. “With a growing economy, shrinking deficits, bustling industry, booming energy production, we have risen from recession.” For some Americans, that is the case, although even for them, “bustling” might be a bit much. For other Americans, the news is still pretty bad. When a recent Fox News poll asked, “For you and your family, does it feel like the recession is over, or does it feel like the country is still in a recession?” 64 percent of respondents said it feels like there is still a recession. Indeed, it’s widely conceded that part of the reason the unemployment rate has fallen is because a core of discouraged workers dropped out of the job search altogether. So for many listeners, Obama’s “turn the page” declaration will seem as out of touch as his claim that Islamic State’s advance has been stopped.

Perhaps Richard Engel found the key to the president’s nearly 7,000-word speech: Obama described the world as he wishes it were, not as it actually is. Indeed, in Obama’s State of the Union, things are going so well that it’s hard to imagine why voters would decisively turn control of Congress over to the opposition party — not that Obama would acknowledge that, either. Doing so would be a concession that something is still terribly wrong.

Boehner’s brutal speech: “An Affront to the Rule of Law and to the Constitution Itself”

WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) spoke on the floor today in support of the House’s efforts to stop President Obama’s unilateral actions on immigration.  During his remarks, he directly quoted each of the 22 times the president said he didn’t have the authority to take this action:

“Let me thank all my colleagues who have worked to put this bill together.  Today I rise – and the House rises – to support and defend our Constitution.

“We do not take this action lightly, but simply there is no alternative.  This is not a dispute between the parties, or even between the branches of our government.  This executive overreach is an affront to the rule of law and to the Constitution itself.

“I appreciate all the efforts of those working to fix our broken immigration system, especially since I’m one of them.  But what we are dealing with is a president who has ignored the people, has ignored the Constitution, and even his own past statements.

“In fact, on at least 22 occasions, he said he did not have the authority to do what he has done.

“To think that the president of the United States studied constitutional law is one thing …. he taught it as well.  But now his actions suggest he’s forgotten what these words even mean.

“Enough is enough.  By their votes last November, the people made clear they want more accountability from this president.  And by our votes here today, we will heed their will, and we will keep our oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.”

Did you know that Obama gave illegal immigrants a civil right that you do not have?

President Obama Signs Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act

Did you know that Obama granted illegal immigrants a civil right that you do not have?

I continually deal with the miracle of changed lives.  When gang members and drug addicts come to Christ, God forgives them, the church forgives them but the government does not.  They still have to pay for their past whenever they apply for a job, seek a student loan.

This is because of a question that is on every application.  As an adult, you must disclose that you have a criminal record.  That record follows you through life.

This affects me on a very deep level.  I know an outstanding young man, who has all of the gifts, discipline, and love for God that will make him a great leader.  He is a model father and husband.

To make matters even more dramatic, he is Latino, born in the United States to parents who went through proper channels.

But like so many who lived in poverty ravaged neighborhoods, he ended up in trouble with the law and now,  many years after he radically repented, he is cheerfully paying off a debt.   His crime record stands.

It is sad but true that criminal records need to stand in order to protect society.  For every good citizen who has truly repented there are dozens who will commit crimes again.

However, when Obama granted amnesty to 11 million illegal immigrants he gave them the right not to have to report their crime, a Federal Felony, that they committed by entering the United States illegally.   This felony will not appear on any application for work or education.  They will not have a criminal record for a crime they committed.

At some point, because a natural born American has to keep his crime record, they may be turned down for a job or a loan where an illegal immigrant may not be turned down.  Simply stated, they now have an extra civil right.

We already see this preferential treatment in Obamacare where companies will get a $3,000 rebate for hiring illegals instead of American citizens.

While we are at it, it is insulting to your intelligence when amnesty advocates say “they came here to be good citizens and to escape extreme violence and poverty” .  They committed a crime to get in here and now they are magically never going to commit another crime?

If you, God forbid were unable to leave a violent neighborhood, could you be a squatter in a nicer neighborhood?  Could starving homeless Americans loot a supermarket for food and get away with it?

Oops, the answer to the second is yes, if you are part of a demonstration against racism.

How can we possibly believe that this is some grand benevolent gesture to give people jobs and a future when, Obama has already proven he is a spectacular failure at obtaining those things for Americans?

The unambiguous purpose of amnesty is to allow the Democratic Party to hold on to power.  That is why so many refer to illegals as undocumented democrats.

A new civil right, one you do not have, has been granted to those who came here in violation of our law.  You should be boiling mad, infuriated and fit to be tied…at both parties.
