Private hell

Vast swathes of the church still bring up his past.  A few who are wearing tinfoil hats call him a devil. Clueless preachers still won’t take a stand. He goes through hell every day protecting the American church and they repay him with indifference.

I am sure that he would make me take down this blog if he could. How I know that, is my business. He doesn’t want the church to know how our ingratitude hurts and baffles him. Obama silenced pastors and yet many pastors still love Obama. Meanwhile, Trump fought for and won free speech in the pulpit—free speech that is being used by many to castigate the very person who restored that right.

But no matter how much I am attacked for supporting him, I will not turn my back on President Trump.  Because of his policies, I have been able to win more souls and preach with greater freedom. The President is standing up for our ministry and he is standing up for you, as well.

You lefties need to save your strength.  Nothing you say is going to change my mind.

Our President found out what the Democrats plan to do to Christians if they win the White House and retake the Senate.  He took the time to gather church leaders and to warn them. That was not an attempt at getting votes but it was a president trying to alert the church to her true enemies.

The Left will go after the church with a vengeance because they think the church helped Trump.   Embarrassingly, that is a false accusation since the church at large really hasn’t done much to help him. Nothing like they could have. Now because of apathy, Trump’s hard won protections can be frittered away.  The President’s description of the Left’s hatred for the church and their plans for us is chilling.

Informed sources say, radicals will be bolder to assault conservatives and Christians.  Social media would tear off its mask and openly persecute the church.

Yeah, I’m angry!  Donald Trump and his family have endured excruciating suffering so that we could do something as simple and easy as voting and challenging other Christians from our pulpits to get out and vote. AND WE STILL CAN’T BRING OURSELVES TO DO SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS THAT?

It is jaw-dropping how oblivious many believers are about this moment in time in which they are living.  Trump is a divine disruption—a merciful pause button to give the church a chance to keep America from going off the cliff of Socialism.  So far, most people in the church have done little to act on this mercy, let alone appreciate it!  But I thank God for my President!

And what has the church done to repay Trump for the silent, nameless agony he suffers daily on our behalf?  Many reward him with apathy, ingratitude, disrespect, slander, and abandonment.  My friend, we are about to pay an incalculable price if we don’t get a right view of this hour.

I am sorry to say this, but Satan has seduced many preachers who head personal empires and oversee independent kingdoms. At such a critical hour as this, they will still not come together in unity to speak to the nation with one voice.  Because they are protecting their own private little empires, they can’t afford to offend their congregation.  Little do they realize this: if the Left gets its way, they will have no empire to defend and no nation to pass on to their children.

You may ask: “Mario, is there any hope?”  Yes, there is! But we need God to apply the electrode paddles to our faintly beating hearts.  We need holy rage, holy boldness.  We need to talk to every believer we know and tell them to wake up and vote and tell others that they need to vote.

I realize that it takes courage to support President Trump and to take a stand for our faith at this hour.  Just remember, right now it may be difficult, but if we lose in November, it will go from hard to impossible.

No one believes in miracles more than I do—and a miracle is exactly what we must have at this hour.  We need a miracle of repentance and boldness, but it all begins with our having a humble appreciation for this man whom God has placed in the White House.

There will never be a more important election than this one.  Your vote will never mean more than it does now.

WHAT ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE WHO WILL DIE?

Few seem to be talking about the death toll that may result if the economy remains shut longer than it should.  And how many have already died? I reject the notion that wanting to reopen America puts “profits over people.” I see some on the Left putting political agenda over people.

Lives Depend on Economic Activity. When you stop that, then you kill people. Before we insist on totally destroying the American economy, we must weigh the risk of reopening businesses—because there is always risk—against the risk of not reopening. We must not allow fear, induced by those with hidden motives, to bring us to disaster.

Remember the forecasts that virus-related death-totals for the United States would range from as high as 10 million, to a low of 2.2 million?  Thank God they were so, so wrong. Of course any death is too much death but we must separate fact from fiction. To stay shut until there is zero threat is unrealistic. That day will never come. But something will come if we stay shut too long. The danger is, hardly anyone is talking about the other calamity that may doom our nation. Thank God some are talking about it.

Thomas K. Duncan, Ph.D., an associate professor of economics at Radford University, and Audrey Redford Ph.D., the assistant professor of economics at Western Carolina University wrote an article entitled: How Shutting Down The Economy Much Longer Could Kill Tens Of Thousands Of Americans.

The article appeared in The Federalist March 30, 2020.  Here is an excerpt from their article:

“The recession could be longer than some economists are projecting. If the economy does linger in its downturn, the human costs to the shutdown will inevitably begin to increase.”

The article suggests that there could possibly be “28,797 More Deaths from Opioids,” based on the following calculations:

“A 2017 National Bureau of Economic Research paper finds a 3.6% increase in the opioid death rate per 100,000 people (when there is a) 1% rise in unemployment. There were 14.6 opioid death rates per 100,000 in the United States in 2018. If we use the more conservative estimate of a 20% unemployment rate without a quick return to lower levels, then there would be an estimated 59.4% rise in deaths per 100,000, leading to an increase of 8.7 deaths for a total of 23.3 for opioids.”

If unemployment were to increase, then so would both suicide and homicide:

“The deaths related to economic downturns go beyond those from chemical dependency, also. The mental toll is not inconsequential. For example, Blakely, et al, (2003) finds that being unemployed may also increase the risk of suicide two to threefold. Milner, et al. (2014) similarly finds that unemployment is associated with a higher relative risk of suicide, with prior mental health issues being a key factor in that association. While a study by Kerr, et al, (2018) did not find that unemployment is directly linked to suicides, it did find a significant link between poverty, suicide, and alcoholism.

“With our estimated 16.5% rise in unemployment, we could see a significant increase in both property and violent crimes. The violent crime also may add to the death toll in this period.”

After reading the article, I came to a conclusion: I do not want to risk anyone’s life. We should stay home until it is reasonably safe. But our definition of safety must be weighed against the risk of death from listening to leftists who have other goals.

It is far too tempting for the Left. They have demonstrated a passion for three things to happen:

  1. They want desperately, above all else, for Trump to lose the election.
  2. They want to replace Free Market Capitalism with Socialism.
  3. And they want to weaken the church.

In order to accomplish these three goals, they have also demonstrated an amoral viciousness in their remarks against Trump and his handling of the virus pandemic. They simply can’t be trusted or allowed to make such a critical decision as reopening.

No one can look inside the heart of someone and truly know what goes on there. Jeremiah 17:9 says: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” We already know they believe America is so unfair and stupid that they will blame the failure of the economy on Trump and not on the virus.

But who knows? Their hatred may go deep enough to cheer on the destruction of our economy, just so the chaos will birth Socialism.  Or, that the devastation will close churches for good.

Here’s the one I want to focus on. I personally know of many churches that cannot afford to stay closed much longer. I also expect that even if the arc of viral infection flattens, Blue State Governors will still push for keeping churches closed.

Sadly, theologically challenged believers will dismiss the notion that churches will be permanently closed because of this. They will quote Matthew 16:18, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

Of course, the universal church of Christ will not go out of existence, but I know congregations and pastors who will have to shut their doors if this economic shutdown goes on much longer.

To say that churches can’t be shut down for good is to deny the existence of underground churches all over the world that have already lost their rights and their buildings.

Churches provide a necessary healing gift. They stop suicide. Faith based ministries rescue people from dying every day. Only God knows if any have died since drug programs and outreach ministries have been shut down. There is no way to replace the human touch online.

If the virus becomes an open-ended political excuse—relying on models that are leftist and not scientific—then we have to do some deep soul searching. If we see our leaders are willing to allow the deaths that we know will happen from a dead economy—and closed churches—because they want to prevent the ones that might happen, then it’s no longer prudence, it’s politics.

Agree with me in fervent prayer for President Donald Trump. When to reopen America will be the hardest and greatest decision of his entire career. Pray for wisdom greater than any human intellect.

WHY TRUMP IS RIGHT ABOUT GEORGE W. BUSH

President Trump was right to call out George W. Bush, who was silent about national unity during the criminally depraved impeachment trial. But now, suddenly, Bush is all for unity during the pandemic?

George W. Bush of all people should have been outraged by the assault Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, and Jerry Nadler made on the Presidency.  With all due respect, I believe he should have been a bigger man at that time. Whatever petty baggage he carries from his perception of Trump’s treatment of his brother Jeb, is nothing compared to the horror and permanent damage this false impeachment did to the Executive Branch of the United States government.

Let’s turn to the Bible for insight on why Bush is wrong. In 2 Samuel 1:14, King David was confronted by a man who claimed to have killed King Saul, David’s mortal enemy. “So David said to him, “How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?” Though Saul had tried on numerous occasions to kill David, David still mourned Saul’s death and even executed the man who had not been afraid to take the crown off Saul’s head, and bringing it, with the armlet from Saul’s arm. Why?

Because David believed that no matter what, Saul was God’s anointed. David respected the office. George Bush—of all people—should have respected the office. The time for him to speak out for unity and to warn that something could destroy us was during the fraud impeachment of Trump, not now.

Bush should have protested the disgraceful attack on the office of President by the Democrats. Bush should have warned the nation then about how we are all in this together. He should have protected the Executive branch of government from tyranny.

Mr. Bush knows, as few men know, the corruption of the Democrat Party. He also knows the long term damage these leftists have set in motion for future Presidents. Impeachment has been weaponized. It will be used to destroy any President that the House of Representatives does not approve of. It will be used even when there is no evidence of wrong doing. That was the new ground that Pelosi and her cohorts broke.

Let’s say—God forbid—that Biden wins. The Republican retaliation will be swift and withering.

Let’s say Donald Trump wins. Adam Schiff has already begun new impeachment hearings, and he can do so because the precedent has been set by their previous attempt at impeachment. And because there were no consequences for Schiff, he feels empowered. Has none of this occurred to George W?

Worst of all, no matter who wins, our devastated economy won’t get strong leadership.  A bitterly divided government will be distracted by more and more investigations and trials.

The American public has just seen two other examples of Democrat debauchery. We recently learned that General Michael Flynn was the target of high level FBI agents who were blindly loyal to Barack Obama. Knowing Flynn was innocent, still they set a trap by lying, and tricked the General into incriminating himself falsely.

We also see how Tara Reade is being trashed by the hypocritical #MeToo movement, because electing Joe Biden justifies depriving abused women of justice. Brett Kavanaugh was guilty until proven innocent. But Joe is innocent until they can change the subject.

Bush’s first loyalty should have been to our system of government. He should have been thinking about the Founding Fathers more than his hurt feelings. If a former President can’t reverence the office, who can?

And how can he say we are in this together when he knows that a rogue government led by Barack Obama and others is feverishly working to destroy the very foundation of our freedom?

Again, what Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, and Jerry Nadler did was evil—an evil that will continue to damage America for many years to come. Such a vicious and baseless ad hominem attack on a sitting President, such blatant lèse majesté of that kind, should have roused George W. Bush to speak out.

If he truly cares about saving America, he would not, in my opinion, call for a fake unity built on sweeping evil under the rug, just because he doesn’t like the victim.

HATING TRUMP MORE THAN THE VIRUS

Nancy Pelosi held up relief for Americans until she got money for art. Then she turned around and likened President Trump to the Emperor Nero “fiddling while Rome burned”, something that historians believe never really happened. And her accusations are likewise, also made up. Her actual words were, “As the President fiddles, people are dying.” and “Don’t fiddle while people die, Mr. President.”

I will soon explain why that insane remark has gone unpunished.

Pelosi is also deflecting scrutiny away from the fact that it is the Democrat leadership who has acted with callous disregard toward the American people during this coronavirus pandemic. As with the made-up ‘Russia collusion’, and the Ukrainian ‘quid pro Joe’, once again, they are accusing Trump of the very things they are guilty of.

I need to make some points very clear. The first point is the madness of ‘not wanting to look racist’. Democrats both delayed action and fought needed action, because they ‘didn’t want to look racist’. This delirium of ‘wokeness,’ finally, is looking as crazy as it should have looked, all along.

This Covid-19 outbreak should have taught us the madness of open borders, forced diversity, and globalism. But, no: both Bernie and Biden wanted the borders to remain open. And, to this day, neither have advocated for closing them.

They attacked Trump for his travel ban on China, accusing him of racism and xenophobia. Not only this, but after the travel ban, both the health director of Democrat controlled New York City and mayor Bill Di Blasio encouraged people to go out to restaurants and gather in crowds! They especially defended going ahead with Chinese New Year celebrations, so they would ‘not look racist’. This helped spread the virus, and now New York is the hottest hotspot in the nation, with huge numbers infected.

The other point is about Trump hatred. The Left say anything they want against Trump without punishment. No slander is off limits—no question is too stupid, or loaded—no lie is too great, and no accusation too outlandish. Worst of all, no national crisis is too great to shut them up. As long as it is about Trump, it is allowed. And because the news media is in on this practice, journalism is dead in America.

When it was reported that America was first in the world, leading it with the most cases of coronavirus, Hillary showed her hatred of both Trump and Americans when she tweeted, “Well, he promised, ‘America first’” That obscene remark was widely condemned. But notice how she has not apologized for it. That is because she knows she doesn’t have to, after all, the media will cover for her. Can you imagine that being said about anyone else but Trump?

We are in a national crisis. America historically has put aside partisan malice, and has always rallied behind the Commander in Chief.  Not this time. Hatred for Trump is so sociopathic that even obstructing the President’s efforts to save American lives is allowed. They dragged their feet because they hate him, then they accuse him of dragging his feet, because they hate him.

I am begging America today to see this evil. Ask yourself, “Am I just as guilty of hating Trump as these politicians and leftist journalists are? Is there such a thing as going too far?” “Can any nation survive this kind of hatred?”

But why do they hate him so? They hate him because he won. They hate his victory so much it blinds them to everything else including the pandemic. The idea that he won and keeps on winning dismays them.

That they want to attack him more than they want to attack the coronavirus should utterly outrage you. What else must they do before you realize they are not just Trump’s enemy…they are yours. May God grant us the will to rise to our sacred duty to defeat this virus. And may God grant us the resolve to remember in November who these people are and strip them of their power to hurt us again.

INSIDE THE HORRIBLE MIND OF BIDEN

Joe Biden said this about Trump supporters: “They really support the notion that, you know, all Mexicans are rapists and all Muslims are bad and…Dividing this nation based on ethnicity, race.”

There is so much vileness there I don’t know where to begin. Oh, I know, I’ll begin by asking: “What about the many Mexican Americans who support Trump? Do they think all Mexicans are rapists?” Remember, Biden is talking about all Trump supporters.

What Biden says is a lie. It can’t be anything else.  And the sad fact is that, he knows it is a lie. What he said, he said for effect. That is why I want to address Democrats first in this blog: Ask yourself, what was Biden’s goal in saying these falsehoods?

Of course, his remarks are vile and offensive to Trump supporters.  But he is also insulting his own supporters. Here’s why: He said this to fire up his base. He is revealing what he thinks they want to hear. He has a horrendously low opinion of his voters. He assumes Democrat voters all love wild generalizations and character assassination.

If you are part of his base, it’s time for you to see what he actually thinks of you. He is telling you that you are too stupid to say, “Wait a minute, that can’t be true of everyone who supports Trump. You just can’t lump them all into a basket of deplorables.” Oh, yeah, that one’s already been taken.

If Donald Trump had leveled this kind of a depraved generalization at all Democrats, I would have instantly stopped supporting him. Why? Because anyone who says these things is too deranged to be any kind of a leader, let alone President of the United States.

That is why Trump levels his zingers at Democrat leaders. He never makes sweeping statements about Democrat voters. Never.

Biden’s brain runs to even darker places than this—his statements foment class warfare and elitism. Biden embodies the plantation-owner mentality that assumes his party servants will vote for the party, no matter what. His low opinion of everyone, except the tiny circle of limousine-liberals, oozes from every word that comes out of his mouth. The only thing that has changed is that, increasingly, he is mixing up his words and going blank in the middle of a sentence on live TV.

Trump supporters should be outraged on a deeper level than just his despicable words. It’s the dark threat that his words carry. What Biden said about Trump supporters reveals the Democrat leadership’s penchant for tyranny.

There was a day when Democrats said “Let’s agree to disagree.” Tip O’Neill and Ronald Reagan were polar opposites politically, but they respected one another, and learned to work together. Now Democrat leaders believe, “If you don’t agree with our thinking there is nothing decent about you.” Then they take it further. “These loons are just trying to divide the country. They don’t belong anymore. They must be banished and stigmatized.”

Andrew Cuomo flat out said Republicans are not welcome in New York. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said he supported the idea of California having only one political party. One of Bernie’s campaign organizers wanted to put Trump supporters in gulags. He was quoted as saying, “I’m ready for the f***ing revolution, bro… Guillotine the rich.”

Is this why Democrat leaders are so soft on China’s evil leaders? Are they slowly starting to embrace the tactics of the Communist Chinese regime? Will this virus be their pretext for a police state?

Finally, Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and Chuck Schumer must cringe when Biden starts attacking Trump and pointing fingers, for a couple of reasons:

First, because he isn’t supposed to spill the beans and let Americans know how much the Dems hate Trump supporters, and the fact that they take their own party members for granted.

And, second, Biden shouldn’t be saying anything about sexual assault right now. Absolutely nothing…

I wrote this to let you see his true mind and to warn you. I must use the most emphatic language possible. There is no version of this man that should ever darken the door of the White House. He is a shell, a puppet that would unleash a swarm of misery. He possesses the requisite lack of humanity and conscience to morally bankrupt America. In the best of times he would be anathema. In our time of crisis, he would be an unimaginable horror. What he said yesterday proves this beyond any doubt.
