EVEN WITH

A Trump loss the next election is too terrible to imagine. But even if he wins, we will desperately need a true revival in America. Tragically, the church doesn’t know the difference between true and false revival.

Many of the things the church does today simply do not matter. They don’t point in the trajectory of revival. In fact they point in the opposite direction.   Many things done by churches are impressive, even successful—I am saying they will not save America

We know the times are evil.  But what can we do about it?  That’s the number one question I am asked.  My answer is, “We need to stop toying, speculating, and paying lip service to revival.  We need to seize a true revival.”

The real culprit today is false revival.  There is untold damage done when we take a good meeting and market it as revival.  To characterize a good meeting as revival is like filling a bath tub with salt water, and calling it the Pacific Ocean.

I am not telling you that your ‘good meeting’ is not true revival—because history and our culture are both telling you it is not.  History says revival overflows church walls and makes deep impacts on society, which is not happening.   And when our culture swats away our church meetings and continues to careen into deeper wickedness—it is telling us we are not in revival.

There is one thing—above all others—that is stopping true revival: We don’t have a pure motive.  We want it for all the wrong reasons.  If revival is our ticket to getting church growth, emotional experiences, self-promotion, formulas, and wealth, our prayers are like nuclear waste to God.

The most well known verse on revival begins with a huge ‘IF’:  2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

IF you truly yearn for the miracle that would stop America’s slide into oblivion—IF you wish for an act of the Holy Spirit so real and widespread that it impacts crime, injustice, addiction, and despair—then listen to this lesson from history:

In 1904, American leaders were enthralled by the revival that was then taking place in Wales.  Hundreds of thousands were converted, and the morals of the nation were transformed.  American church leaders wanted a revival like that here.  But they tried to buy it.

These enterprising pastors and businessmen invested in massive campaigns.  They were dismal failures.  So much so, that the very concept of revival fell into disfavor.

Two years later, they realized their mistake.  When widespread brokenness gripped the leaders, aided by a pure motive, they cried out and heaven heard them.   One of the catalysts to this awakening was a man named James Burns.

James Burns wrote a powerful book entitled “Revivals, Their Laws and Leaders.” In 1909 he wrote, “To the church, a revival means humiliation, a bitter knowledge of unworthiness and an open and humiliating confession of sin on the part of her ministers and people. It is not the easy and glorious thing many think it to be, who imagine it fills pews and reinstates the church in power and authority.

“It comes to scorch before it heals; it comes to condemn ministers and people for their unfaithful witness, for their selfish living, for their neglect of the cross, and to call them to daily renunciation, to an evangelical poverty and to a deep and daily consecration. That is why a revival has ever been unpopular with large numbers within the church. Because it says nothing to them of power such as they have learned to love, or of ease, or of success; it accuses them of sin, it tells them they are dead, it calls them to awake, to renounce the world and to follow Christ.”

America, at last, had found a pure motive for revival. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles (at Azusa Street), and many other cities saw amazing things.  Denver, Colorado, and Portland, Oregon, which are currently bastions of marijuana, atheism, and rampant liberalism, shut down businesses at noon so everyone could go and pray.  Crime dropped to virtually nothing.  Bars sat empty, and millions went to prayer everyday across America.

Until our knees buckle beneath the horror of our nation’s sin and the blasphemy of our cheap grace fades away, our request for revival will be denied.

But I still feel faith for the church in America to turn around. More importantly, God holds out great hope to us.  Let me share two things that forever killed my doubts about revival.  One was a scripture, Matthew 12:20: “A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, till He sends forth justice to victory.”

Jesus will not snuff out the least flicker of revival. When anyone asks for revival from a pure heart, God says, “Yes,” and begins the process. He takes you at your word.

The other thing that occurred was a revelation I received as I was standing at the beach and the gentle foam of the ocean lapped over my toes. The voice of the Lord said, “This gentle wave is the cousin of the tsunami.”

The smallest flame in the smallest church will not be quenched by Jesus.  Given the proper opportunity, the Spirit of God will fan it into a raging fire of righteousness.  The gentlest wave can grow into a tidal wave when anyone hosts within them the presence of God. But they must obey His step-by-step orders, and they must refuse to exploit what God is doing among them.

These two truths are resonating powerfully within me now.  I want them to blow up in your spirit as well! Do you truly want revival?  Then what are you waiting for?

You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.  (Jeremiah 29:13)

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! JOIN US IF FRESNO

BOLDNESS

If I listed everything the church was allowed to say ten years ago that she can’t say today, you would be horrified.  Without a miracle, your children and grandchildren will have to survive in a world that will totally ban their faith—and what is even scarier: they will have to face it without you.

It is hard to convince many Christians that they are rapidly losing their First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion.  They either don’t believe it is happening, or they chalk it up to  ‘fake news’ or ‘politics.’  But the erosion of liberty is not only real—it is the greatest threat American Christians have ever faced.

The doctrines of our faith that offend are: the Cross, the Blood of Jesus, the reality of Hell, sexual purity, and marriage.  Preachers who feel the heat from government censorship are already deleting these doctrines from their sermons.  They’ll tell you it’s to reach a bigger audience—but, trust me, it’s the heat.

What can we do to stop the church from being driven underground?   No one who is truly a man or woman of God can seriously entertain the idea that we should stop preaching these truths.  That is not even an option.  What then can we do to reverse this pernicious loss of liberty?

An even better question is: What does God do when a nation tries to silence His church?  The answer came to me suddenly.   Hear me out, it is not what you think.  It is way beyond petitions, or elections.  The revelation I am about to relate to you, struck me with paralyzing clarity. I am amazed I never saw it before.

However, nothing I am about to say will help you, not one point I am making will have its intended impact, unless you have a heart for it.  If you are still in denial about what is happening, I can’t help you—this message can’t help you.  If you think I am dispensing alarmist extremism, then you are just another part of the threat.

But, if you want to hear God’s heart on this crisis—if you hunger for more than half-answers, then you have come to the right place.  You can ask the Holy Spirit the most important question you could ever ask: “What do You do when a nation tries to silence Your church?”

Here it comes:

When the leaders of Jerusalem arrested Peter, they didn’t know what to charge him with or how to punish him.  They knew they had to silence the church.  There was no doubt about their intention.  They were prepared to do anything to stop the Gospel—so what was stopping them?  Answer that, and you will know what the exact marching orders are, that the church needs today.

What was hindering the council members was the glaring presence of the man who came with Peter and John.  This was the crippled beggar who used to sit at the Gate Beautiful.  A spectacular miracle had occurred!  He had occupied the most visible and lucrative begging station in Jerusalem.  Everyone knew him.  Word of his miraculous healing filled Jerusalem, and a mad chorus of praise was rising over the Eternal City.

Their deep consternation is vividly described in these verses: Acts 4:14 “And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. 15 But when they had commanded (Peter and John) to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, 16 saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.””

Their profound dilemma was not lost on Peter.  The Holy Spirit had revealed to him the divine solution to government censorship.  Peter had clearly settled on a course of action—the very action we need to take today. It is the action we take in our tent. He left with a battle plan. He was armed with critical information.

He gathered the people of God, and ordered them to pray.  He was about to pray a prayer that is the precise model for our crisis. He faced the same threat we face.  Remember that word: “threat.”

You will recall I told you that nothing good can come to you from my message, unless you see how urgent the hour has become?  Peter began his prayer by calling the situation ‘a threat.’  We must do this, also.

In Acts chapter 4, Peter prayed: 29 “Now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.”

Peter is showing us that boldness is essential.  Only boldness will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Not only this, he is forever settling the question of preaching.  Preaching must not leave anything out.  It is by sharing the whole counsel of God, that the church is protected, and able to continue her work.

Next, Peter is admitting that the vehicle for that boldness is signs and wonders.  God must stretch His hand over an angry culture, perform supernatural healings, and overrule the agenda of man.  Such is the case today.  Look at how God answered:

Acts 4:31 “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”

Not only were they filled with the Holy Spirit and boldness, but God answered their prayer for miracles.  In the next chapter, the very shadow of Peter was healing the masses. (Acts 5:15-16)

Ignore those who aren’t willing.  Set the time and place to go to homes, houses of worship, schools, offices—anywhere where true prayer can be raised up to God.  Prove this promise and see: the Spirit will fall; you will receive a tongue of fire, and miracles will come.  I am not talking about self-absorbed emotional light touches.  I am talking about undeniable, medically verified, city-shaking divine healings.

And you will see that now, as in that day, no law, no argument, and no politician will be able to silence the church!

COME AND BRING THOSE WHO NEED A MIRACLE TO THIS OPEN DECLARATION AND DEMONSTRATION OF THE POWER OF CHRIST IN FRESNO

Building something great

I have been pondering these questions:

Can we overcome the evil that is rampant in our times and do something big for God?

Can visionaries still come to the forefront and seize the day?

Can true prophets arise, and speak the heart of God to a dying world?

If you’re looking for a cheap pep talk—a soothing shortcut—or the flattering words of the God-is-our- Daddy Movement—if you think serving God is just a tongues-talking Candy Land game, then save us both time, and ease on back into your cocoon.

But if you look at the present system of church and feel empty—if there is an inner fire that tells you “THIS IS NOT IT!  THERE HAS TO BE MORE!” —you have come to the right place.

Our journey begins with a sad joke.  A mechanically challenged young man who wants to cut some firewood goes into a hardware store.  He asks the store clerk for advice.  After being shown the chain saws, the clerk says, “With a chain saw you can cut entire cords of wood in no time.”  Sold.

The young man returns three days later angry and frustrated. “You told me I could cut cords of wood.  All I got was a few lousy sticks, and this thing is way too heavy to handle.”  Baffled, the clerk grabs the saw, yanks the pullcord and the saw roars to life.  The young man asks, “What’s that noise?”

In the greatest moral war America has ever faced, the church is trying to saw wood with a giant unstarted chainsaw.   To fight that war, our Christian Colleges insist on graduating tepid troops of singing psychologists and grinning marketers.

Secret Number One:  Separate yourself.   There is a promise in the Bible that is timeless, omnipotent, and unstoppable.  It is a promise that transcends the mad railings of evil men, dark times, and limited resources.  It is a promise that will prevail in any culture, and at any time. Read the promise carefully:

2 Timothy 2:20 “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses (separates) himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Now, flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”

Those words were not written to some surfer in the 1960’s living in a bubble, but to a young leader embarking on ministry in the midst of the Roman Empire, facing both lash and lions.

Separate yourself from the drunken compromised preachers of today.  Separate yourself from shallow faith.  Separate yourself from those who need “a daily word from the Lord”—turning prophecy into an ecclesiastical horoscope.  Separate yourself from those who want to “activate gifts” without pressing in to know the heart of God.  If you do these things, a great work will have already begun.

Secret Number Two: Learn practical dependency on the Holy Spirit.  Satan’s best work is not done by atheists, but by misguided Christians.  The devil prizes above all else his ability to get ministers to take matters into their own hands—to build by their own wits—and build the perfect disguise.  The current whited sepulchers are vast empires bearing Christian labels.  These are machines God never built.  They are trophies of hell meant to distract the Body of Christ, and waste time and money.

John 16:13: “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”

What do you see in those verses?  They should both bless and horrify you.  All the authority to build, direct, provide, strengthen and guide the church was vested in the Holy Spirit.  We have offended a precious friend!  We have driven away the very Person we needed most!

The American church thrashes about like a child in a kiddy pool, never guessing what she is doing wrong.  She hired marketers when she could have simply asked the Holy Spirit. She pointed to false success to justify her existence.  We don’t need a superman. We need supernatural men and women filled with the Holy Spirit.

You must be baptized in the Spirit and then learn to be led of the Spirit.

Secret Number Three: Trust the process. God invented planning. Therefore, the Holy Spirit will give you a plan. The trick is, you can’t take shortcuts. You won’t always see the logic.  And you may grow weary and even come to doubt the sanity of your course.

You won’t be allowed to do things that others get away with.  You will be driven to prayer and into the Word of God over every step you take. You are taking the road least traveled.

Do what God tells you to do, and never stop doing it.  Again: Trust the process.  No matter how your guidance seems to go against the grain, obey His voice!  When you have no money but God says invest it in a vision—do it!  When close associates turn on you—still do it!  Trust the process.  When you face a withering storm of criticism because of your choice, keep going forward.

Follow these three secrets. Then, look around.  You will see people doing mighty works of God in the Earth.  You will see the glaring difference between those who are fueled by the Holy Spirit and those who are not.

But, you ask, “Will these secrets work in this day and age?”  Yes! They always have and they always will!

NOW THAT

Truth is the new hate speech.  Light has become darkness, lies have become truth, villains have become heroes, and love is now hate.  What do we do, especially now that the teachings of Jesus Christ are being intricately and essentially banned in the United States?  This censorship is designed to weaken the nation, centralize control, and bring down America.  Many believe it is already too late.

What is even worse is that much modern preaching is setting believers up to crash and burn when they face persecution.  Instead of arming the church to push back on the onslaught of censorship, some sermons are actually weakening the resistance of Christians.

I do not often drop the God card.  I never claim to hear from the Holy Spirit unless I have heard from Him in a clear and undeniable way.  Today, I heard from Him!  My spirit jumped at what He revealed about the very hour we are living in.   To begin with, I felt deep hope and a high sense of urgency.

I believe that the Lord is telling me to say, “It is not too late—but there is work to do.” This was reinforced by the verse He gave me, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day;  the night is coming when no one can work.” (John 9:4)

Immediately after that, these next verses were branded into my soul:

Acts 14: 2 “But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren. 3 Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.”

I am going to offer four specific steps derived from these verses.  I believe that they hold a powerful key to understanding the moment we are in and the exact direction we must take.  Read it with great openness.  Let the lukewarm Christian take heed.  Let leaders and preachers give serious heed to these words of direction.  I do not believe they are my words.

1. Ask God to show you by the Holy Spirit what you are doing—and then abandon everything you are doing by your own power—no matter how ‘sacred’ it seems.

Let us begin by repenting of our greatest mistake.  Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to run the Church and grow the Church.  He was sent to make us effective and relevant to the culture.

We are guilty of taking away His authority and running the church by our own wits, and by the methods of the world.  We have failed miserably.  Sadly, even failure has not stopped men from controlling the things of God.

In every generation hell belches out a new weapon of mass destruction.  But heaven is neither passive nor taken by surprise.  God creates a weapon of choice by the anointing.  Then He seeks for the person who will take up that weapon in the Name of Jesus and thrust it into the heart of darkness.

The American death-march does not surprise the Holy Spirit.  He already foresaw it, and He is driving us to our knees in prayer to seek His effective counter-attack.

It is all summed up in the words Samuel spoke to Saul: 1 Samuel 10: 6 “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. 7 And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands, for God is with you.”

Waiting on God for power is the highest duty of a preacher.  Prayer must saturate us before we go forth. Those who believe that God must instantly honor our prayers are deluded by modern church entitlement.   We must seek—being utterly convinced that power is coming—but at the same time we must be fervently committed to wait as long as it takes.

This first step will cost you friends and church members, and it will impact your lifestyle.  But this is nothing compared to the disaster you will avoid.

2.Do not abuse prayer! In Numbers 22 it says, 18 “Then Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, ‘Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more. 19 Now therefore, please, you also stay here tonight, that I may know what more the Lord will say to me.’”

Balaam sounded noble, yet greed was in his heart.  He totally contradicted himself.  First he says, “Keep your money. God said, No.”  Then he asks the money people to spend the night to see if God might change His mind.

The classic reaction to my blogs on America’s disaster is, “All we need to do is pray.”  Nobody believes in the power of prayer more than I do.  However, there is a widespread abuse of prayer.  Prayer is being used as an excuse for delaying, remaining silent and escaping responsibility.

The key to the Lord’s Prayer is, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  Prayer is going to give you direction.  But, if you pray until you get the direction you like, you have the spirit of Balaam.

This abuse of prayer even hit Moses.  He knew that he was supposed to lead the people through the Red Sea.  Yet he hesitated, and God got angry!  Exodus 14:15 “Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!’”

Disobedience is a prime reason we have lost this generation.   Many were told what to do about the nation and simply ignored it.  True intercession will never become a substitute for soul-winning.

God has been offering wisdom, direction, and power during the entire Obama regime.  We are at the point of destruction because few leaders have listened and obeyed.

If God sees that you want no part of the warfare, that you refuse to touch the unlovely, and you simply do not want to deal with your local human tragedy, then He will skip over you and find someone else.  Mordecai warned Esther about remaining silent:  14 “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)

 3. Ignore the accusations of hate. When Christians address gay marriage, they often begin with a disclaimer: “I am not trying to be hateful.” Quit wasting time with misnomers. There is no widespread hatred of gays in the church. The hate is not coming from us; it is coming at us! The slander, smearing, obscene language, and death threats are spewing out of radical feminists, gay activists, and radical Islamists, not the Christians.

Simply speak the truth in love.  Do not apologize or condemn.  Offending people is unavoidable.  Save your energy, tell the truth, and leave the results in God’s hands.

4: We must make way for signs and wonders and supernatural acts of God like never before.   Jesus knows they are the only way we will get our message across in this toxic atmosphere. The miracles of Jesus not only continue today, they will accelerate more and more.  The phrase, “speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands” (Acts 14:3) speaks loud and clear to our time.

History teaches us something important: When the Word of God is summarily rejected and immorality has spiked, the Holy Spirit has more than met the challenge with increased power to preach, and towering miracles to confirm the message.

Finally, all four of these actions are summed up in the reality that we are at war.  We did not pick this fight but, with God, we are going to finish it!

Breaking News

Finally, the Holy Spirit has released me to share this news about California with you! The supernatural flow that is carrying us southward down Highway 99 is increasing. The river is gaining speed and the current is growing stronger. Our firepower has been replenished. The momentum is remarkable.

And then, out of the blue, the Spirit of God said to me, “Your next meeting is in Fresno, but your next tent crusade is in little Dinuba, California.” Yeah, that seemed strange to me too!  Where is Dinuba? It is slightly south and east of Fresno, CA. I wondered, “Why are we going there?” God warned me not to let the size of Dinuba fool me.  He said that this city is a spiritual volcano.

Suddenly, we find that we have more favor here than in any other city where the tent has been.  The city has given us the best location possible for a tent crusade—the site where their new High School will be built.  And get this: the city is letting us use the land for free! We already know this will be our greatest tent crusade ever.

Now for another big piece of news:  God has given us a new strategy that we have never had before.  It is called The Night of Miracles.  The Spirit of God spoke very emphatically, “Go to one church in the city, and for one night only, give them the exact same experience they will have under the tent.  Most importantly, God said that from now on, this will be the very first thing you do in a new city.

This was the opposite of what we have been doing. We have not had a miracle rally first. We always laid the groundwork by having a luncheon for pastors and leaders. I had never tried this before. I had to fully trust God that it would work.

We went to Living Word Fellowship in Dinuba. 500 people filled the church. We were all stunned!  Then the Spirit of God broke out on the people, as He demonstrated His power by healing many.  It was as explosive as any previous night where we had held meetings under the tent.

Soon, the wisdom of God’s strategy became blazingly clear: the people had a foretaste of the tent, and they were electrified by the Glory of God! The left knowing exactly what to expect, and could invite friends and loved ones, with incredible expectancy.

Dinuba is set. The tent is going there. When is the Dinuba Living Proof Crusade? I am not going to tell you. Listen carefully.  After Dinuba we are taking the tent to Fresno. I would tell you the date and location but we are finalizing the use of a very strategic location. Living Proof Fresno will be an epic display of the miracles of God and soul winning.

What?? Wait – why? Hold on, let me explain.  I am not telling you, simply because I want you to focus all of your attention on the next announcement I am making.

Even though Dinuba is our next Living Proof Tent Crusade, it is not our next event. The event I want you to focus on, will take place on Sunday August 11th, at 6 PM. We are doing a Night of Miracles in Fresno. That’s right, Fresno. It’s the only night I want you to think about. It is a night where we will be facing demonic power. We know the Spirit of the Living God will stir up intense and deeply entrenched demonic power. For anyone who lives near Fresno, you must come, and you must bring someone who needs a miracle in their body and soul. I am not exaggerating. August 11th is the next demonstration of the Glory of God in our journey south, along Highway 99.

We had originally announced this date for August 4th but my staff needed a break after the World Convention. August 11th is the date!

We expect the windows of heaven to open and pour down upon us a drenching rain of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.  At the very least, please pray with us for the August 11th meeting.  This Night of Miracles will break open the next phase of the river of God flowing down the Central Valley of California.

This night is not limited to folks from Fresno. I am asking the army of God that has been in all the previous tent meetings to drive down and be a part of this astonishing night.

Remember the location: Sunday, August 11th at 6 P.M., at the Covenant Worship Center, 1461 North Chestnut Avenue, Fresno, CA 97303.

Pray. Bring someone. I will see you there!

The Grace Period is over

The grace period is over for false and carnal preachers because there is too much at stake. It’s over, because protecting you from shame is not nearly as important as saving a nation from destruction.

The Left has declared total war on decency, and you are in God’s line of fire.

Ask yourself. Why were Ananias and Sapphira struck dead at the feet of Peter in Acts chapter 5? It was not just for what they did, it was also because of when they did it. They did it at an explosive moment for the church. Satan was going about like a roaring lion, trying to destroy the church, and God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of the Apostles. Ananias and Sapphira chose to lie to the Holy Spirit at a strategic time when the church needed to be reminded that they served a holy God.

You will either be purified or replaced.  The time when God winked at your compromise is over.  You thought God didn’t see. “And they say, “How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?””  (Psalm 73:11).

Worse yet, you thought because He has delayed your discipline, He has somehow given you license to continue in your lifestyle of drunkenness and materialism.

Public confession of sin is coming.  Malachi 3:3 says, “He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.” Remember—not everyone who is disciplined by God will make the cut.

Look for tragic downfalls—you who have fattened yourselves at the expense of the sheep and left them weak and unprotected.  (see Ezekiel 34) God told you to resist the wicked winds of political change.  Instead, you hid behind a lame excuse that you didn’t want to be political.

The wicked devices of the Left that have wrecked marriage, and continue to kill the unborn, are but a few of the evils it was your duty to oppose.  Instead, you self-righteously said you were above politics.

Meanwhile, those political policies have oppressed the sheep of God. Godless laws got them fired for being Christian.  You said nothing. Political correctness got their children suspended from school. You looked the other way.   Godless laws bankrupted bakers, florists, and other Christian small businesses.  And still, you were silent.

In your silence, you are taking other people down with you.   You are damaging your audience by only saying what they want to hear. You have not led them forward; you have not removed them from danger.  Worse yet, when you finally speak out, it is misguided.

You were silent when Obama worked his destruction.  But now you oppose a President who is doing more for the sheep of God than you are.  Man of God: Tell the truth.

I was awakened out of a dead sleep, and God said, “It is time to fulfill My promise.” Then He showed me Jeremiah 3:15, “And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

Satan is not impressed with your billion-dollar empire. He mocks it.  It has no power where it matters.  R. A. Torrey said, “The Devil is perfectly willing that the church should multiply its organizations and its deftly contrived machinery for the conquest of the world for Christ, if it will only give up praying…The Devil is not afraid of machinery; he is only afraid of God. And machinery without prayer is machinery without God.”

Then God told me how He has come to despise the word, ‘Activate.’  He is rebuking the signs-and- wonders-crowd who are cheapening the gifts of the Spirit by promising instant activation of gifts and  turning God into some kind of vending machine.  God is opposed to the message that promises gifts without a relationship to the Heart of the Father.  God will only grant gifts to those who surrender to intimacy with Christ.  It is not an overnight deal—it is a grueling journey, it is the furnace of affliction, and a season of preparation.

‘Instant-ism’ is bringing the prophetic movement down.  Repent or you will soon find your movement in the museum of failed revivals.  The enterprise of doling out daily words of prophecy grieves God.  He deems it to be the same as horoscope reading.  Worst of all, it has driven the sheep away from the Bible.  All of this prophesying has failed to lead to a spiritual awakening in America.

Consider:  “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.  But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings.” (Jeremiah 23: 21,22)

We are on the cusp of a golden era of soul winning.  God sees the harvest is ripe.  Beware of the anger of God most when He sees the lost searching for Him.  That is when He cleans house. That is when He says, “I am going to save the lost—either let me purify you for service, or get out of My way.”

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. (Hebrews 10:31)

WHAT HAPPENED IN RENO

Friday July 5th, Saturday July 6th, and Sunday July 7th Mario Murillo Ministries held the Living Proof World Convention in Reno/Sparks area at Spirit Filled Church with Pastor Roger Canary.
It was a radical move for any convention to only have two speakers, Perry Stone and I. Not only that, but we decided we would ‘shotgun’ every night—meaning we would both preach.  The big question is, Can today’s audiences abide two messages AND an extended worship time?
That’s the thing about listening to the Holy Spirit. When it makes no sense in the natural, it always works perfectly in the Spirit. In over 50 years of ministry, I have not seen a convention roll this smoothly and with so much fire. I have also not seen an audience with this pure of a motivation. There was zero fluff. It was total surrender to the Holy Spirit.
The urgency of the crowd made it necessary for us to begin each session 30 minutes early. The hunger of the crowd pulled on the speaker to deliver the deep things of God.  I was reminded of a phenomenon known as super-conductivity—when at 450 degrees below zero there is zero drag on an electric current, allowing for the purest flow of energy.

There was zero resistance to truth by the audience. It allowed us to preach the deep things of God. Their heart for God pulled the presence of God into the room.
Two dynamics will mark this gathering for all time. The first is this hunger in the people for God and truth. The second is the desperate hour of our nation.
The Spirit of God was warning, empowering, and directing, all at the same time.
The Lord laid the task upon me of driving home the point that the American church cannot escape her pivotal role in saving America. The enemies of God are too blatant and too demonically driven for the church to ignore.  There is no deferment in this war for the people of God in America. No one gets a pass.
My next task was to destroy the lies that disqualify us from effective warfare. We are out of time and out of excuses for our lethargy, division, and ignorance of God’s Word.  The Spirit of God verified my obedience in preaching, with undeniable signs and wonders breaking out among the people.

Still, there was a churning that foreshadowed more power and fire yet to come. Something holy and life- altering was rising in our midst.  It was left for Perry Stone to ignite the revelation that would touch off the glory.
Perry ripped the mask off what Satan is doing to Americans. He explained—better than anyone I have heard—how the spirit of antichrist is addicting Americans to drugs in order for them to be numb enough to accept socialism and the complete abdication of all personal freedom to the State. It is this drug-addled stupor that would let them take our firearms, our rights, and our Bibles.
“But,” Perry said, “there will be an outpouring!” That declaration touched off an explosion of Glory! It infused us—it was a quickening of body, mind, and spirit.

Soon, he was calling many to come forward to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. It was breathtaking to see dozens charge to the front, and before they knew it, they were mightily baptized with glorious tongues of fire. Perry told me later that he had not seen a crowd receive the Holy Spirit so effortlessly.
Whatever lesser goal brought these people to our convention, it was now undeniable that they had forever left the realm of being merely “blessed” Christians, and were now beginning to form an army—an army with power, resolve, and clarity. We all knew we would never be the same.
I am looking forward to seeing the same outpouring of the Spirit in Fresno, and then—on to Los Angeles!
