First news from the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

Friday, May 03, 2013

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove.

This is the lowest level of approval for the president since August of last year.

Today’s figures include 25% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16.

Following a government report of yet another anemic quarter of economic growth, voters give President Obama even less credit for his handling of the issues of job creation and small business.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 38% of Likely Voters rate the president’s handling of issues related to job creation as good or excellent. Forty-three percent (43%) give him a poor rating in this area.

When it comes to issues related to small business, 35% give him a good or excellent rating.  Forty-three percent (43%) think Obama’s performance in this area is poor.  (To see survey question wording,

When tracking President Obama’s job approval on a daily basis, people sometimes get so caught up in the day-to-day fluctuations that they miss the bigger picture. To look at the longer-term trends, Rasmussen Reports compiles the numbers on a full-month basis, and the results can be seen in the graphics below.

For the month of April, the president’s Total Job Approval Rating fell another two points from 52% in March to 50%.  That’s the lowest level measured since last September.

In December, it reached 56%, the highest level since May 2009. Prior to the election, that rating had remained in the narrow range of 44% to 49% for two years straight.”

(CNSNews.com) – 9.5 million Americans have left the workforce during the presidency of Barack Obama, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In April, the total number of Americans counted as “not in the labor force” declined for the first time since December, but that number was still near a record high at 89,936,000.

Mario’s note:  In case you wonder why I keep speaking out:  Your voice is weakening Obama.  Whether it is through prayer, or speaking out to those you know,  it is important for you to realize the effect you are having on the national situation.  This is not just about Obama, it is about people sickening of the entire political correctness gone amok phenomenon.

You need to realize that a mood change is in the wind, the grass roots of this nation are disgusted and weary of the unending removal of rights and the celebration of immorality.  Obama’s last firewall, the media  is showing signs of erosion.  Keep praying, keep speaking out, keep believing.

(CNSNews.com) – The number of Americans designated as “not in the labor force” in February was 89,304,000, a record high, up from 89,008,000 in January, according tothe Department of Labor. This means that the number of Americans not in the labor force increased 296,000 between January and February.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) labels people who are unemployed and no longer looking for work as “not in the labor force,” including people who have retired on schedule, taken early retirement, or simply given up looking for work.
The increase marks the second month in a row, after rising in January from 88.8 million in December.  Those not in the labor force had declined in December from 88.9 million in November.

The nation’s unemployment rate decreased to 7.7 percent in February, down from 7.9 percent in January.  Overall unemployment “has shown little movement, on net, since September 2012,” the Labor Department said.

Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 236,000 in February, according to the report.

Time to fire them all.

By Mario Murillo.

Nearly 90 million are out of work.  That says more than anything else about our broken government.  The next time that you a hear politician talk about recycling or giving money to nations that hate us, think about that.  They do not care…period.  They are lost in space.  They are drunken sailors.

Whether they are Republican or Democrat you need see that it is no longer their political beliefs that you should be watching, it is their inaction.  They are do nothings in control of our money.

They all have causes.  They all feel heroic about their pet ideals.  But still they do nothing about what is really important.  Never has a subject been beaten to death like jobs.  It’s been talked up, down, around, under, over and out.  Yet for all of this talk, nothing happens.

Washington makes us feel like a victim of some prank.  I keep looking for the hidden camera.  I keep wondering when someone will step out and say “gotcha, you’re on scare tactics, we were just clowning you!”

Sadly this is no joke; it is insanity front and center.  It is a psycho-drama in the trillions of dollars.

I remember the Obama types from my childhood in the ghetto.  The local drug lord always had a son that could say and do anything he wanted.  He could bully people twice his size.  He could walk up and take your lunch money and you had to just be quiet about it.  He was called charming by adults who also felt fear of the local god father.   The only difference with Obama is that we have yet to figure out who the drug boss is that the media, Democrats ans so called moderate Republicans are so afraid of.

So it is time to fire all of them.  We need a new American Revolution.  We need mops, brooms, Lysol and the bravery of prior generations.  We want a refund on these bums.  “But Mario, you got any ideas?”  Yeah, I got them, you just stay tuned to coming blogs and pray fervently.

Obama Blames Economy on ‘Bad Decisions’

Obama Blames Economy on ‘Bad Decisions’

9:49 AM, FEB 2, 2013 • BY DANIEL HALPER
In his weekly address, President Barack Obama blamed the economic problems on “bad decisions.”
“[T]his week, we also received the first estimate of America’s economic growth over the last few months.  And it reminded us that bad decisions in Washington can get in the way of our economic progress,” said Obama, presumably referring to the uptick in unemployment from 7.8 percent to 7.9 percent and the news that the economy contracted in the final quarter of last year.

The president did not name which decisions were “bad,” and who specifically was to blame for those “bad decisions.” But he did blame Washington.

“2013 can be a year of solid growth, more jobs, and higher wages.  But that will only happen if we put a stop to self-inflicted wounds in Washington.  Everyone in Washington needs to focus not on politics but on what’s right for the country; on what’s right for you and your families.  That’s how we’ll get our economy growing faster.  That’s how we’ll strengthen our middle class.  And that’s how we’ll build a country that rewards the effort and determination of every single American,” said Obama.

Obama reiterated his support for a “balanced approach” going forward.

“We all agree that it’s critical to cut unnecessary spending.  But we can’t just cut our way to prosperity.  It hasn’t worked in the past, and it won’t work today.  It could slow down our recovery.  It could weaken our economy.  And it could cost us jobs – now, and in the future,” said Obama.

“What we need instead is a balanced approach; an approach that says let’s cut what we can’t afford but let’s make the investments we can’t afford to live without.  Investments in education and infrastructure, research and development – the things that will help America compete for the best jobs and new industries.”

Medical Company Blames ‘Obamacare’ For Layoffs Of Nearly 100 People

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (CBSDC) — A medical company is blaming President Obama’s health care law for the layoffs of nearly 100 people.

Smith & Nephew says a 2.3 percent excise tax on medical devices in the “Obamacare” law caused the layoffs in the Memphis and Andover, Mass., offices.

“The nearly $30 billion tax on medical devices that took effect Jan. 1, 2013, has impacted a number of companies across the U.S.,” the company said in a statement to WHBQ-TV.

Joe Metzger, senior vice president of corporate communications for the company, tells theMemphis Business Journalthat they were “not immune” to the tax burden.

“Unfortunately, and in order to absorb this cost burden into our business, this has meant less than 100 positions have been made redundant across various departmental functions in our Tennessee and Massachusetts sites,” Metzger told the Business Journal. “The company is providing the affected employees with a comprehensive severance package and outplacement support.”

The Business Journal reports that the company announced last February it would lay off 7 percent of its workforce worldwide.

The tax took effect on Jan. 1.

Unemployment rises again.

The new year started off with an old story: Employment grew again in January but not at a pace able to lower the jobless rate.

Nonfarm payrolls rose 157,000 for the first month of 2013 while the unemployment rate edged higher to 7.9 percent, news unlikely to alter the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy or instill confidence that the recovery is gaining steam.

Economists were looking for 160,000 net new jobs created with the unemployment rate holding steady at 7.8 percent.

Keep the Pepto close, the inauguration is nothing but propaganda, an Inaug-regurgitation.

people.obama_

Before you read the official state-sponsored press release that is presented as news read this : Keep the Pepto close. The White tells us that the inauguration will be an event, “featuring eight Americans as ‘citizen co-chairs’ of his inauguration, a new role created to highlight his first-term accomplishments.”

Having ruined so many of our other traditions Obama now turns to the inauguration into the Inaug-regurgitation because it will not be a celebration of the American people, but a sickening, all about “ME” Fool’s Ball, to distract us yet again away from the national wreckage he refuses to fix.

Ronald Reagan never had to do this and it would have turned his stomach if anyone suggested it. Ronald Reagan did not have to stage propaganda at his inaugurations because America itself was a testament to his greatness as a leader.   Obama must do what he has always done, rent greatness, hijack achievement and manipulate the masses.  Hollywood adores him because he is the best actor in Hollywood.

How long will continue to weave his spell over his adoring fans?  How long will he be able to leap from one crisis to another, even using children as body shields for his war on the constitution?   How far he goes with his agenda to unravel and erase the American Dream is no longer just his fault but the fault of every blind sheep and every silent patriot.  Keep the Pepto close if you watch this event.

Now for the state-sponsored propaganda from the Associated press:

Obama names 8 citizens to highlight his successes

By NEDRA PICKLER | Associated Press – 10 hrs ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is featuring eight Americans as “citizen co-chairs” of his inauguration, a new role created to highlight his first-term accomplishments with examples of lives that have either been improved by his actions or inspired his presidency.

Inaugural planners say the honorees include a woman with a brain tumor who no longer is denied health care for a pre-existing condition; an autoworker who got her job back after the General Motors bailout; and a gay pilot-in-training kicked out of the Air Force before the president repealed the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Inauguration officials said Wednesday that the president has met most of the eight individuals during his first term and their inclusion in inaugural events is meant to showcase his administration’s core values through real-life examples that people across the country can relate to.

It’s a time-honored presidential practice to illustrate policy ideas with such anecdotes, and Obama frequently does so. He had those who say they were helped by his priorities introduce him at campaign rallies, and he frequently sprinkled their stories throughout his speeches. On Wednesday he announced gun control legislation before families of those killed in the Connecticut elementary school shooting. But inaugural planners say this is the first time people affected by a president’s policies have been given such an official title at an inauguration.

The eight will participate in the National Day of Service on Saturday that kicks off the inaugural events over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend. That’s the president’s call for Americans to serve their communities to honor King’s legacy. After Obama’s swearing-in ceremony Monday, the eight co-chairs will ride on an inaugural parade float highlighting the inaugural theme of “Our People: Our Future,” then attend the official balls that night.

“Every day, I’m inspired by the determination, grit and resilience of the American people,” Obama said in a statement provided by his inaugural committee. “The stories of these extraordinary men and women highlight both the progress we’ve made and how much we have left to do. They remind us that when we live up to the example set by the American people, there is no limit to how bright our future can be.”

The list of co-chairs and their descriptions by the Presidential Inaugural Committee are:

— Ida Edwards of Petersburg, Va., a retired nurse and advocate of Obama’s health care law who lived through the civil rights movement that inspired Obama’s career.

— Erica Chain of San Francisco, who was diagnosed at 27 with a life-threatening brain tumor and was denied coverage from every health insurance provider she applied to. She was able to get coverage because of the Affordable Care Act’s prohibition of denials of coverage due to pre-existing conditions and was able to get the surgery she needed to stay alive.

— Lily Griego of Denver, a single mother whose son has been able to attend college because of Pell Grants for low-income families for which Obama increased funding, other financial aid and her work at two jobs.

— Kenyetta Jones of Toledo, Ohio, a 27-year veteran of the General Motors Powertrain Plant in Toledo who was laid off for more than a year in 2009 but was called back to work because Obama approved a second auto industry bailout that year.

— Liz McCartney of New Orleans, who co-founded the nonprofit St. Bernard Project after Hurricane Katrina and has helped rebuild hundreds of homes for hurricane and tornado victims with the support of volunteers and AmeriCorps members. Obama met her when visiting New Orleans for the five-year anniversary of Katrina and promoted the work of the St. Bernard Project in his speech that day.

— Rob Hach of Alta, Iowa, who started a small renewable energy business called Anemometry Specialists and like Obama supports the extension of a wind energy production tax credit.

— David Hall of Washington, who was training to be an Air Force pilot but was kicked out for “homosexual conduct” in 2002 and went on to work for the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell.”

— Petty Officer 2nd Class Taylor Morris of Joint Base Charleston, S.C., a bomb disposal expert and native of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who became a quadruple amputee after stepping on a bomb while serving in Afghanistan. Obama met him on a visit to Walter Reed hospital last year and surprised him with the Purple Heart while on a White House tour over the summer.

Obama manipulates jobs report to fabricate 7.8% jobless rate

by JOHN NOLTE  5 Oct 2012 465 POST A COMMENT

As soon as ex-General Electric CEO Jack Welch fired off a tweet questioning today’s just released “unbelievable jobs numbers,” the media went into a frenzy talking about how “conservatives” were launching conspiracy theories. Well, that’s handy for the media and the Obama campaign, but it’s not just “conservatives” who are confused by a full 0.3% drop in unemployment when only 114k jobs were created.

CNBC is as confused as the rest of us:

Job growth remained tame in September, with the economy creating just 114,000 net new positions though the unemployment rate fell to 7.8 percent, the first time it has been below 8 percent in 43 months.

The report presented a slew of contradictory data points, with the total employment level soaring despite the low net number.

The falling jobless rate had been a function as much of the continued shrinking in the labor force as it was an increase in new positions.

On the air, CNBC seemed equally perplexed by the biggest one-time drop in the unemployment rate in 29 years!

ABC News’ Chris Cuomo is also skeptical of the numbers:

Chris Cuomo:  “Unemployment is at 7.8% in September. Except it really wasn’t. It is much higher, with the/ underemployed and those who have stopped looking.  The number not fixed.”

That “not fixed” tag smells a little like sarcasm to me.

Adding to the mystery is the fact that the U-6, the longtime underemployment and unemployment number, remained fixed at a dismal 14.7%.

What this .03% drop means (per Ed Morrissey) is that the number of unemployed people dropped by 456,000 when only 114k jobs were created–well below the monthly average, and below population growth. Where did 342k people go to lower the number so dramatically just 31 days before a presidential election? Did they retire, leave the planet, die of old age in the unemployment office?

Moreover, just 30 days before the election, 342K people dropped off the unemployment rolls and lowered the unemployment rate to below 8%–a benchmark number vitally important to President Obama who promised his stimulus would ensure we wouldn’t hit 8%.

Finally, this is the second hinky looking report/revision from the Bureau of Labor Statistics in as many months. Just days ago, 400,000 jobs were “discovered”–almost the exact number Obama needed to have a record of creating more jobs on his watch than were lost.

The Obama-friendly media is rolling out some very convenient talking points, with NPR crowing in its half-hourly news bulletin: “The unemployment rate is now back where it was in when President Barack Obama took office in January 2009.” Except it isn’t, exactly.

No one’s crying “conspiracy” here, but any journalist worth a damn always remains skeptical and looks to connect the dots of counter-intuitive good news released just weeks away from a major election.

How to pray about Obama, Planned parenthood and the economy.

June 1, 2012  NEW YORK (AP) – “U.S. stock futures plummeted Friday after the release of a report on the job market that was far weaker than economists expected. Dow Jones industrial average futures, which fell 100 points before the report came out at 8:30 a.m. EDT Friday, tumbled an additional 100 points within minutes.  A loss of 200 points when the stock market opens at 9:30 a.m. would wipe out what was left of the Dow’s gain for the year.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note plunged to 1.46 percent, the lowest on record, from 1.56 percent. That was an indication that investors were flocking to bonds for safety.”

Experts predicted that we would see 150,000 jobs added in this report.  But even 150,000 jobs added in one month is a terrible number.  That is how much California should be adding let alone the whole nation.  Instead, only 69,000 jobs were added and unemployment is back up to 8.2%.

This is a jobs disaster and under normal circumstances would kill a president’s reelection chances… but it will not.   Why?

-When Obama ignored the economy for the first two years in order to ram through a health care bill that Democratic leaders did not read, that the Supreme Court said would totally change how our government relates to us, and that the vast majority of Americans hate, it did not have a lasting effect on his poll numbers.

– His economic strategy is seen by some experts to be like using amputation to cure ingrown toenail.  He gave Solyndra 500 million and it promptly filed for bankruptcy.   He blocks a pipeline that most leaders say would create a million jobs.  He continues blame George Bush 4 years later.  Again, this did not crash his approval rating.

-When he came out in favor of same sex marriage it should have dropped his support from the black community, who overwhelmingly oppose it, but again he looks to get 95% of their vote.

– More than 50% of all Americans oppose abortion on demand.  His unwavering support for Planned Parenthood even after it was revealed that one of their workers was helping a woman plan for an abortion if she found out the fetus was a girl, has not cost him the support of woman’s rights groups.

Let me see if you got that one:  The ultimate violence against women is to kill them simply because they are a woman, and yet, woman’s rights movements will still back Planned Parenthood and their Obama.  Planned Parenthood by the way, gets nearly $500 million of your tax dollars every year.

-A huge number admit in polls that Obama means to reshape America  by ideology and by a personal malice for the American system, but they are going to vote for him anyway.

-An equal number agree that Obama cannot run on his record, but they will vote for him anyway.

– Finally, there is the blackout on the historic news that the Catholic Church representing 25 million Americans is suing Obama for violating their freedom of worship.  Franklin Graham has said that Obama has a resentment against Christians.  Even so, many Christians are still going to vote for Obama .

So why after all of this is he still holding his approval rating?  The answer should trouble even the most staunchly liberal thinkers among us.  CBS, NBC, ABC, Hollywood, The New York Times, and a myriad of newspapers are doing everything possible to get Obama reelected.  They are in lock step with him, they get their talking points from the White House, and make they sure that we only hear positives about a president who many believe is the worst, by far, in history.

This could also explain why you may not have heard of many of the issues I am raising.

Every day the hope of a free and fair election dims because of this vast bias that has the power to bend facts and outright lie in order to achieve their goals.  We need a miracle.

What do we do?  We pray, we pray like we have never prayed before.

1. We pray for a mass spell to be broken off of America.  Ezra 10:1 says,  “Now while Ezra was praying, and while he was confessing, weeping, and bowing down before the house of God, a very large assembly of men, women, and children gathered to him from Israel; for the people wept very bitterly.”  The way that Ezra prayed was so intense that it broke the spell on the people.  This is no time for pride or the fear of man.  This is the time of fiery, heart-rending intercession!

2. We pray as priests of God confessing sins on behalf of our nation.  Daniel 9:3 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. 4 And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, 5 we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.”  Even though Daniel was innocent he still said, “we have sinned.”

3. We plead for mercy and for God to spare America.   Joel 2:13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.  14 Who knows? He may turn and relent  and leave behind a blessing —grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God.” It is not too late and the fires of revival that we are seeing everywhere attest to God’s intention to spare us.

We dare not underestimate the powers that have are arrayed against us.  This is a masterpiece of deception.  However, we dare not forget the awesomeness of our God!  He has exposed lies and deposed kings throughout history.  Our greatest enemy is our apathy and our fear!  Once the body of Christ stands where she belongs she will be unstoppable!
